Hi there

I didn't realise that I hadn't posted since November, doesn't time fly. Anyway had a good Christmas, didn't do a lot as OH was ill. So onwards towards summer which can`t come fast enough because as I type this my fingers are like blocks of ice. Anyway I have shut my Etsy shop but the jewellery is still for sale, just click on the tab above and if you are interested in buying any item just email for the price. I haven`t had chance to add the prices yet.

I have added a few cards I have made, my granddaughter was 8 a couple of weeks ago and I made a lightup card for her which she loved.

I will be adding more of the jewellery I have made when I have photographed them. Usual excuse not enough hours in the day or not enough days off work to catch up with my crafting. Think I need to retire lol.

Anyway till the next time.

Its been along time

Ive still got quite a few jewellery items to add and I will probably add some of my cards as well at some point. So please share with your family and friends as its getting to that time of year when we start looking for unusual presents.

Cards Made this week.

2016-06-15T12:11:00.002+01:00

Hi there
Here are a few cards I have made this week.

Decoupage from Craft Creations

Creative Crafting World Pollyanna Pickering`s World of Wildlife cd, I opened the image of the giraffe in Craft Artist Pro, cropped the image so I just had the giraffe and birds, resized it, copy and pasted to get 2nd image and then flipped the image. I gatefolded the card and printed the image twice.

Inside I opened the image in Craft Artist Pro and copy pasted the giraffe image, resized it so that it fit over the original centre image, grouped together then printed off and attached to the inside panel.

Craft Creations Decoupage

Made with a Spellbinders corner die, Sue Wilson flowers and sentiment

Next 2 are made from Debbi Moore Shabby Chic Sports 2 CD which came with Issue 31 of Bringing Inspiration To You Magazine

Inked a piece of white card with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserve and Dusty Concord, used Versamark pad through dotty stencil, covered it with clear embossing powder and heat set, stamped sentiment onto vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder, stamped the butterfly with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder and die cut it and the base in vellum. Matt and layered to white card and matt and layered to inked card and attached to a scalloped edge card.

Hope you enjoyed my inspiration.

Couple of Cards made after watching Barbara Grey

2015-12-30T12:16:00.001+00:00

Hi there
I was watching Barbara Grey last week demoing on Hochanda using gilding flakes and stencils, so I thought I would have a go.
Using double sided adhesive sheet, cut your adhesive sheet to the size of your stencil, peel of the backing and attach to white card, don't use black card as talc powder is used later on and your black card turns grey lol, peel the top layer of and stick down your stencil, cover the sticky bits showing through your stencil with gilding flakes of your choice, once you have scrubbed of the access peel off your stencil, then apply talc to the sticky bits where your stencil was getting rid of the access. Polish up your gilding flakes and embellish as required.
I was quite impressed with the outcome of this idea.
Hope you like my projects made using this technique.
Till the next time
