Naruto 574 : The Eyes That Look Into The Darkness

OHHH....now when we talk about suspense, these Japanese people are one of the top five who can make you wag your tail for a whole god damn week just for a random chapter of some manga that doesn't apply anything to your daily necessity. Now, please don't ask for the rest of the four guys. As i told in my last review Naruto 573, that chapter was damn boring. And as for this chapter, hmmmm...not very appealing but...yup, it will do it. It was good but not as good as earlier chapters. You see, i always go mad waiting for a whole week to get to read a new chapter and sometimes my endurance and patience runs out when i get to see chapters like last week. But then, i have no other choice but to wait for Mr.Kishimoto senpai to release a better one and he did release a better one this time. I always wonder, how he gives titles for the chapters. It's always captivating.

Chapter starts with Karin. Well, she has not been shown for a long time and this time she opens the chapter with a small comedy note, that becomes serious later. She is in Konoha's custody with two guards watching over her. She is in a state of double-minded as to what she would do with Sasuke. The guards think that she's crazy as she keeps shouting and then hugging a photo of Sasuke. They leave her alone but she was just fooling them as she cuts the photo to reveal some pins that can open locks. On the other side, we get to see Juugo and Suigetsu too after a long time. They reach one of the secret and rare hideouts of Orochimaru. They know that the war has started through Juugo's ability to speak with birds. Suigetsu thinks that he's the only normal guy among the four of his team, rest being Juugo, Karin and Sasuke. Juugo asks Suigetsu for his purpose to join the group. He reveals his evil urge to keep on killing is the reason to join this team. While they are talking, Juugo loses control over his mind and attacks Suigetsu. He escapes but in this small commotion, Juugo breaks a wall, behind which is the secret hidden room of Orochimaru. Suigetsu investigates it and finds a unique and rare and mysterious and secret scroll which he takes for as a gift to Sasuke and says this little thing can change the course of the war.

On the other end, Sasuke reaches near the battlefield and faces White Zetsu, a lot of them. They ask for the reason why he came out of their hideout as it wasn't the perfect time for him to enter the battle. Sasuke toys with them and kills them all with his more powerful Susanoo and Amaterasu. He interrogates one of the Zetsu to what was happening right now. He tells everything about the war and the importance of capturing Naruto and Bee. Sasuke already killed the original White Zetsu and now he kills others too without any remorse. He is happy that he is getting used to his new eyes and powers. Somewhere else, Itachi is shown going somewhere.

After a long time they have shown Itachi, my favourite and Sasuke together. Will they meet each other? Will they fight each other once again? Will Itachi convince Sasuke to walk away from the path of darkness? Or will Sasuke kill Itachi and go for the war? Or in total, they will not meet each other? Let's see for the next chapter.

My View : Chronicle

At last, this is the first movie i'm reviewing after watching it in a theater. One of my friend was talking about it last evening. He showed me the trailer but i didn't watch it completely as i didn't want to spoil my own surprise. Now a days, most of the movie trailers are showing almost all the important scenes from the movie which makes the movie a little predictable. I was not much interested in watching "Chronicle" but then when i heard that it's a movie about some high school guys getting superpowers, i was like, "Ok, now that's a little interesting, why shouldn't i see what those a**h***s would do with there powers?" And i must say, i'm not totally disappointed at all.

So, now this movie is about three high school friends who gain superpowers after an accidental mysterious discovery. Soon, they find themselves involved in a difficult situation as it grows difficult for them to control their new powers. Directed by Josh Trank, this movie is kinda documentary type, as one of the three guys uses his camera all the time and we get to see it as a footage taken by him. Except for the last half an hour so, where the camera was normal. The main casts are :
* Dane DeHaan ----- Andrew Detmer
* Alex Russell ----- Matt Garetty
* Michael B.Jordan ----- Steve Montgomery
* Anna Wood ----- Monica
* Ashley Hinshaw ----- Casey Letter

As a short synopsis, as i said earlier, this movie is about three high school guys getting superpowers. Andrew is a guy who gets beaten up by his drunk dad, gets bullied by his schoolmates, always stays alone, kinda introverted shy person and always uses his camera [which he bought for $500] to shoot daily happenings. Matt is Andrew's cousin and is a calm guy with a cool head who is more reasonable and responsible than Andrew is. Steve is a famous guy in the school standing for elections. These three guys get to attend a party at night. Then they somehow discover a hole in the ground which leads to a big crystallized area, kinda alien, they lose consciousness and wake up next day having super powers. They enjoy their life and take advantage of their powers wherever necessary. They do a lot of mischief for just time pass. One day, Andrew uses his powers to stop a car which irritates them a lot and that car meets up with a terrible accident. Matt starts putting new rules to control powers and Andrew doesn't like it. Andrew keeps growing evil and evil every day and every moment. He feels no remorse in doing any harm to any living beings. They start to control their powers and learn to fly. One day, Steve flies up to the clouds to console his upset friend, Andrew. By mistake and due to anger, Andrew loses control over his powers and uses the lightening to kill Steve. Only, Matt knows the truth and he tries his best to save his cousin from losing his mind and succumbing to the powers. But he fails. At the end, Andrew loses his control over his power as well as his mind completely. He becomes corrupted by the powers and becomes evil, doing robbery and murder. Matt tries to stop him....and rest is what you must watch it for yourself. Now, we don't wanna spoil all the fun, do we???

Now as for the acting, everyone were amateurs but played their part well. Dane played it nicely as a guy corrupted with power and Alex too did well with his responsible character. Michael was nice with his cool attitude but he didn't get to live long [just kidding]. This movie showed exactly, what young people would do if they got superpowers. Just teasing people, exploring places, playing with it, flying forever, doing mischief, using it every minute without knowing the consequences of it. But some guys who would not be able to control it, might get corrupted and walk in the path of their own destruction. Some guys are more responsible and good in nature and heart and they will use their powers to develop themselves for the better mankind and better themselves. This movie showed, how three BOYS with new powers develop to become MEN.

Overall, it was a nice movie but i got irritated and bugged up in the starting or i would say till the half time. If not for those sudden display of usage of their powers, i would have just walked away from the theater. But, then later, it was normal. Naruto 573 : The Path Toward Radiance

Seriously, i was totally disappointed with this chapter. There was no action at all. I know there can't be action all the times, but still at least they could put some nice follow up story to continue. Instead, Kishimoto senpai used the same old strategy that's being used all the time. A little of everybody's thoughts and a suspense entry. Previous chapter Naruto 572 was so nice.

The chapter starts with Naruto knowing all the Bijuus' names and challenging Tobi/Madara. Guy and Kakashi have a little funny talk telling themselves that they are still young and not too old to fight. Tobi/Madara starts to attack but he sees his hand getting wet. He thinks for a moment that it's sweat, but it was actually rain. He's confused to actually know what Naruto really is. Naruto exhibits and displays a large amount of energy making it look like, he has all the nine Bijuus' powers. Tobi/Madara still thinks of Naruto as a stimuli for Sasuke. I still don't have any idea or guess to what Tobi is really after. Even at HQ, sensors and message relaying squad feel Naruto's incredible energy. They inform Shikaku Nara [Shikamaru's Dad] that Naruto, Bee, Kakashi and Guy are pushing Tobi/Madara back by themselves. Shikaku tells Inoichi to relay this message to everyone to boost up their morals. Everybody knows it's a little dangerous task to relay a message to everyone, but still Inoichi does it. He starts bleeding and coughing due to the stress.

Now, is the boring part. Everyone from Naruto's group start thinking like a flashback and mind thoughts. Hinata, Ino, Sakura, Shikamaru, Kiba, Shino and even Sai, everybody express their desire to help Naruto and go for the battlefield. Chouji has become slim, that was the only surprise and good part in this chapter.

Then, there are footprints shown on the rainy ground. Sasuke is shown standing with a terrifying background as lightning and he stares back with an evil grin. I hope in next chapter, he enters the battlefield. I'm still waiting for Itachi too. He's not being shown for a long time.

My View : Real Steel

"Champions are not born. They are made."
Well, that's what this movie says a lot about. But when i heard this tagline, i got to remember that another one, used in the movie 'Megamind'. "Heroes are not born. They are made." Well, then, Megamind creates a hero of his own and all that funny story of its own aside, this movie, "Real Steel" was a good deal for the young people as well as old, with their minds and hearts fixated on hardcore jaw-crushing fighting. Now, don't imagine on the real blood spilling raw fighters tearing each other apart unless one of them dies, this is a purely family watchable movie with no space for one to say, "What the f**k, i wasted my money on this b**ls**t!" Now, i missed this one too, to watch in the theater. But then, it wasn't that much of a show as "Warrior", which gave goosebumps for the entire time. It's my mistake to compare these two movies, as they both belong to their own different genre.

So, now this sci-fi movie is set in a near future, where robot boxing is the top entertaining sport for the people. A former boxer and his unknowing son struggle with their lives, as the father wants his robot to win fights so he can earn some money, his son struggles to understand his father, his only parent since his mom died, so that he can live together with him. This movie is directed by Shawn Levy, whose other famous works are like, 'Night at the museum' and 'Date Night.' The important cast are as follows :

* Evangeline Lilly ----- Bailey Tallet
* Kevin Durand ----- Ricky

As a short synopsis, the movie starts with a brief take on Charlie's useless life. He fights against a 2000 pound fighting bull with his robot, "Ambush" and loses the fight, as well as the bet with Ricky. In order to save his ass, he takes off from that country fair without anyone's notice. He's stopped and informed by some guys that his ex-girlfriend is dead and his only son, who is staying with his aunt, is to be turned over to his father, that is Charlie, according to their state law. Charlie negotiates with Marvin [Aunt Debra's 'old' husband] for $100,000 for his son's custody. Charlie lives with Bailey, his old love and the daughter of his 'human' boxing coach in earlier days. They live in her old gym, which she is trying to protect instead of getting it sold. Charlie buys a new robot called, "Noisy Boy" with some money which Marvin gave. He and Max takes it to an underworld robot boxing arena to win some money, where there are no rules and it's just, "I'm gonna beat the sh*t out of u." And they get their asses beat down. Not only they lose the fight but they lose their robot too.

Then, they go to a junkyard to collect some parts to try and fix their old damaged robots. While, in meantime, Max has a dangerous fall from a cliff and is stopped by getting stuck from a robot arm. Charlie saves him and while they are about to leave, Max suggests that they should take that robot, for which Charlie denies quickly. Max digs out and brings the robot out alone as Charlie leaves him and goes off. After getting it to the gym and some checking and rebooting, they find out that it's barely a "Generation II" robot, with a rare Shadow Function to mimic moves of the opponent and designed to take some heavy damage as it was a trainee robot for other fighters and not made to fight for itself. Within a night, Max develops a liking to it and forms a special kinda bond with it, teaching it many moves and discovering it's name as "Atom".

Due to some money problems, Max and Charlie takes Atom for a fight in a place called 'Zoo'. It's an underground, low-class ring for unofficial and no rules fighting. With Charlie's help, Max wins his first match with Atom. And from then on, the winning streak continues. Max and Charlie keep winning matches with Atom and earn a lot of money. In few days, they become famous and are called for the World Robot Boxing. Max sees "Zeus" for the first time. Zeus, is an undefeated, indestructible, and the strongest robot of all time winning all the championships in the tournament. Max infuses his dance moves in Atom by Shadow Function and pleads Charlie to teach Atom some of his boxing styles, as he was a former boxer known for his never giving up attitude. With both combined dance and boxing, Atom impresses many people. And they are called by Tak Mashido and Farra Lamkova to negotiate for the robot Atom. They want to buy it for the sparring purpose for Zeus. Max rejects the proposal and then they face with a terrible robot named "Twin Cities" with two heads, for a fight. After some struggle, Atom wins the match to everyone's surprise and Max later challenges Zeus for the fight. Everyone is shocked but Farra and Tak agrees to it.

Later Charlie is chased down by Ricky and his men and get his ass beat down by them. After much thoughts, Charlie leaves Max to his Aunt Debra for the safety of his son and as per the agreement he made with Marvin. Later he meets up with Bailey and understands what he must do for Max after an emotional scene. He goes to get his son back. And together, they go to fight Zeus....and what happens next is just the part you will love it. So i won't be telling it anymore. Just go and watch it to enjoy it to the core.

As for the acting, Hugh Jackman always is at his best and imprsses everyone regardless of the character he's playing. But in this movie, i liked that kid a lot. Max [Dakota Goyo] was at his best too. I saw him first in the movie, "Thor", as a kid Thor. He didn't have much role in that movie but in this, he played his role nicely. All those emotional scenes were nice. But sometimes, with what i experienced, i felt Dakota's acting in some places a little girlish. I mean, his facial expression was that of a girl's. Hahaha...keeping that aside as it is just what i felt, this is a nice movie directed nicely by Shawn. Though the movie takes place in near future, he confirmed it that, it was around the year 2020. He said that, he didn't want it to look like a different era. Though the gadgets and electronics systems have improved, they still have dinner at a table and not some flying machine. The robots used were all nice, and the story is kinda linked to "Rocky". The surrounding atmosphere, graphics and screenplay was all okay. I liked it but still its a commercial movie with lots of simple logic and expected turnover of events.

"Fight for Family VS Fight for Country"
When i saw the rating of this movie at IMDb, i was a little shocked. My surprise came for, not the rating of the movie, but for seeing Tom Hardy with six packs and that the movie didn't run for a long time in Chennai. I missed to watch it in a theater. The rating was 8.2 when i saw it for the first time on IMDb but now it's 8.3. It's very rare and difficult to see the rating of a movie increase, after being on the list for a long time on IMDb. I didn't know anything about Tom Hardy and haven't watched any of his movie, before watching the "Inception". After watching Inception, he was one of my favorites. And in this movie, "Warrior", he has shown that he is one of the best in the industry but not yet recognized as a great asset for many filmmakers. I always like MMA and watch it sometimes even if not regularly and i can say that this is the best refined film for the sport of MMA.

Well, the movie is about two brothers fighting for the Mixed Martial Arts Middleweight Championship of the World. And the winning prize is $5million. Now, the reason for the two brothers to fight to win this money is the main story. One fights for his family and another fights for his country [in a different way]. Now, the director is Gavin O'Connor and the casting is as follows, they are the main casts, so, didn't include everyone :

* Tom Hardy ----- Tommy Conlon
* Joel Edgerton ----- Brendan Conlon
* Nick Nolte ----- Paddy Conlon
* Jennifer Morrison ----- Tess Conlon [ Brendan's Wife]
* Frank Grillo ----- Frank Campana

Well, let me tell a short synopsis of this movie. The movie starts with Paddy coming out of a church. Paddy was an alcoholic former boxer, who left Tommy and Brendan with their mother alone, due to his alcoholic behavior. He stopped drinking and was on a course of 1000 non-alcoholic days. He meets up with his younger son, Tommy outside his house. They chat for sometime until Tommy dozes off. Brendan, elder brother, is a school physics teacher, who has loads of money problems. He works hard and honestly to save his home from being taken away by the bank, for his failure in mortgage. His wife works too, supporting him at all times. Tommy joins a local gym, where he used to train when he was a kid. One day, he finds an opportunity to show his skills. He acts as a substitute sparring guy for a guy who is very famous in the gym and a main contender in the upcoming tournament called The Sparta. For everyone's surprise, Tommy beats the hell out of him and knocks him down. One guy takes a video of this fight secretly and publishes it on web. And it spreads like a wildfire. Tommy asks his dad to train him, so that he can enter the tournament and win it for which Paddy agrees. Brendon starts fighting small fights to earn money. When his wife finds out, he somehow convinces her to understand him. Later, he joins Frank's, an old friend, gym, as he's suspended from school for fighting. He tries to get in the tournament and somehow gets in. Tommy wins all his fights easily and quickly but Brendon struggles a lot in all his fights but he wins. There are a lot of emotional scenes in between, which words cannot express. You must watch it to feel it. In the end, both brothers face off for the final. Just before final, everybody comes to know that Brendon and Tommy were brothers. Brendon was fighting to save his family and home, but Tommy was fighting for something else. In the end......well i will not tell it...go and watch this to know it.

Now, based on acting, everybody did their best. And i mean it. From Tom Hardy [Tommy] to Kevin Dunn [Principal Zito], everybody did their best. I am mad about Tom just like i am mad about Mr.Heath Ledger. He was perfect in this movie. His acting at the starting of the movie, while talking to his dad, after getting drunk was nice. I didn't expect him to fight Mad Dog like that in his first fight. He knocks him off. His easy going attitude talk with his brother Brendan was cool too. As if, he didn't care for any shit, other than winning this tournament. But i was totally drawn to him in two scenes. One, when he knocks out his opponents and just blazes off from the cage to his dressing room. Second, when he supports his drunken dad in a hotel, before the semifinal. And, there is no need to exaggerate his emotions while fighting. He was like a tiger waiting to pound on his prey. His anger, disrespect, hatred, bloodlust, every emotion was perfect.

Joel Edgerton [Brerndon] was not as cool as Tom but no less than any other in the movie. He was a perfect husband and a perfect father. An honest man relying only on his fighting rather than bankruptcy. Little weaker than Tom and other fighters but his never to give up attitude wins him all matches. I liked him when he did all those training and when he was concerned about dad at the final. His emotions were not easily distinguishable but it was noticeable. Nick Nolte [Paddy] was great in his daddy job. His acting moved me to such extent that i felt terribly pity for him. A father, who is trying to change and amend his mistakes but his sons, not forgiving him for what he did. His acting after getting drunk in the hotel was nice. It showed a true character of a heart suffering alcoholic. When he gets insulted by his son at slot machine, his face was so pitiable that i felt that no father should undergo like that. Jennifer [Tess] and Frank [Brendon's coach] did their best too.

Overall, it was one of the perfect movies i have watched after a long time. It was sensational and inspirational as well as raw, relentless and mesmerizing. If you wanna know the story then please watch it. I wish the ending was a little more than that, but still it was a perfect movie. Leave your ideas and thoughts and reviews in the comments.

Naruto 572 : The Nine Names

My god!!! What a turnover. This man, i tell you, is a god damn freaking crazy dude. Ya, i'm talking about Mr. Kishimoto senpai. Well, he's the author of Naruto and he keeps improvising every chapter. Last chapter, in Naruto 571, Naruto was able to control the Kyuubi or Kurama and wiped all the other five Bijuu's asses. Naruto was cool, more powerful and more charismatic. And this time, i have seen something that i had not expected as well as not anticipated to come. Yup, all the Bijuu's in their kid forms!!! Man, i mean, who would have thought them to be kids? I thought that they were separated from the Ten Tails by Rikudou Sennin so they were like that, angry and hatred filled hearts and big and powerful. But actually they were small kids, i mean small baby animal Bijuus.

So, the chapter starts with the two Bijuu spheres clashing with each other. Naruto in Kyuubi mode hits the enemy's Bijuu sphere in such a way, that both shots fly upwards rather than staying down and blasting. But still even after blasting in the air several feet high, the damage was too much on the ground. In this commotion and smoke and dust, Naruto grabs all the five Bijuus together with his Tail power and gets all their stakes out at once. By doing this, he enters a different space in their minds. It's much different than how it was, when he fought with Yonbi [Four Tails]. This was a deeper level than that, where he met all the Bijuus along with there Jinchuurikis.

After meeting them, there is a serious talk going on and then suddenly there's a comedy dialogue. Haaa...I like this mixture of situations and emotions, Kishimoto senpai makes. There are a lot of serious conversations between Yonbi and all other Bijuus. And then between Naruto and them. They say that they would help Naruto and fulfill the promise made to Yonbi [Son Goku]. They all say their individual names. Bijuus tell theirs and Jinchuurikis tell theirs. Then Kurama remembers a past where he was a kid along with the other Bijuus, and Rikudou Sennin was talking to them.

Then Naruto takes out all the stakes from every Bijuu and becomes normal, i.e. out of Kyuubi mode. Seeing that, he can no longer control the Bijuus, Tobi or Madara [which i doubt], pulls back all of them using that Gedou beast which Nagato used to use. Then Naruto is all charged up and confident to fight him, as he says that all the Bijuus have given their difficult names to him and taught something important.

Now, I don't know what secret they told him about, but am eagerly waiting for the next chapter.Now, if you wanna read this chapter, go here.
Naruto 572 : The Nine Names

Doubtful and tearful eyes...

“Come on now!!! Please stop it. It’s tickling.” But she didn’t stop it. As she continued to tickle his ear with a grass, she was constantly watching and enjoying his expressions. He was lying on her lap and was lost in his own thoughts. She was looking at his confused face trying to figure out the reason for his silence. His silence started just a few minutes ago but it seemed like hours to her. “What are you thinking?” she asked with a concerned look just like a curious child. “N-Nothing….It’s nothing.” he said without thinking much, as it was a sudden question but the regular one. Girls always ask the guys what they are thinking and get the same reply all the time regardless of the situation and time and mood or whatever. ‘Nothing’, that’s what every guy will answer for this question.

“Listen, you can never lie to me. Your eyes will always let you get caught. Now, tell me, what’s worrying you. You know I can’t see you in pain. Come on…Tell me.” she held his face gently with both her hands on his cheeks and bent down to look into his eyes deeply. Her hair was smooth and silky. Like a small waterfall with slow flowing waters, her hair fell on his face brushing gently. The very touch of her hair filled his heart with overflowing relief and the slow and soft smell of her hair filled his mind with ecstasy. He closed his eyes and just lay on her lap quietly, enjoying and savoring the moment of peacefulness. She looked at him for a few seconds but he didn’t open his eyes. She always liked to stare at his face at a very close range. She found contentment in his quiet and sleeping face.

She gently kissed his forehead. He still didn’t open his eyes. She knew he was a little stubborn but she knew very well that he was a naughty too. He always opened his eyes, only, when she kissed him on his lips. But she was a little hesitant, as they were in a park with lots of people. But her hesitance was drowned by the tide of eagerness, as she wanted to know the reason for his sudden silence. She moved slowly towards his right cheek. He knew that it was too much of him to ask a girl to kiss him in public, so he turned a little to his left, so that she could kiss him on his right cheek. Then suddenly, he felt a gentle pressure on his face. She slowly turned his face straight and planted a deep kiss on his lips filled full of love and care and said, “Now. Please open your eyes and look at me.”

He opened his eyes and saw that she was still bent down and looking at him closely. He slowly got up from her lap and complained, “You know I don’t like being stared so closely.” She smiled cheekily and said, “And you know I like to stare at you so closely.” He just sighed and didn’t say a word for sometime, then said, “I have a doubt.” “Well, I’m not surprised. You always have a doubt. So, what is it?”, she said, knowing very well that he was always full of doubts about girls. [“Hey, what do girls normally like to wear?/Hey, what do girls like to do at night?/Hey, where do girls normally go on Sundays?/etc..etc..etc..”] But this was different. She knew it was not about the girls or something funny. He looked seriously worried and said, ”You know, I was always alone my entire life. I am an introvert and had a little bit of struggling and painful past. But then, you came into my life. When all seemed lost, you gave me a purpose to live again. You very well know that, I would go to the world’s end to reach you and to get you.” She was confused. She tried her best to figure out what he was trying to say but she couldn’t, “Where are you getting at, my dear?” He turned around as he could not face her to ask this question, “If I go away or if I’m dead or lost, would you try to come for me? Will you believe in me that I will return and wait for me? Will you chase me to the world’s end?” There was complete silence. He waited for an answer but heard nothing. Then, he turned back to see if she was even there and was shocked. Tears were rolling down her eyes like the raindrops flowing on a window pane. She was crying unstoppably and she couldn’t control it. He caught hold of her, “Hey, wait…no, I didn’t mean to hurt you. Please stop crying. I'm sorry.” He hugged her tightly, she was trembling like a dry leaf in the wind, then she muttered, ”I..I..I…don’t…I…” Placing a finger on her lips, he silenced her, “Shhhh….Keep quiet. I got my answer. You don’t have to say anything.” She hugged him more tightly and they stayed like that for few minutes. Then he sat down and this time she was lying on his lap, quietly. He knew that his past will affect his future and he might get killed at anytime by anyone. But, now, he was determined to live on, just for her. He would destroy everyone just to be with her. She knew the truth too. And she now knew that he would fight to live for her. He would never let her go. But still, just a thought about her separation from him, filled her heart with pain and her eyes with tears.

She was lying still on his lap with her eyes closed. He was playing with her ear. “Come on now!!! Please stop it. It’s tickling.”, she said, with her eyes still closed. He bent down gently and kissed her forehead and yet she didn’t open her eyes. He was a little happy too to look at her stubbornness, but he knew how to make her open her eyes. Now he said softly, “You know, I want to run away for a while now. I want to see if you will chase me and if you will, then I would like to know, for how far.” She opened her eyes suddenly, before she could scold him, he placed a gentle kiss on her lips and they held on to each other for as long as possible. The sun was going down and the birds were returning to their homes. People were going back to their routine. It became dark. But they were lost in their own worlds. They were in LOVE.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge also called The Wallflower, The Seven Metamorphoses of Yamato Nadeshiko or Perfect Girl Evolution, is a Japanese anime series. It's completed and has a total of 25 episodes. Well, the only thing which i don't like about these kind of anime is that it gets over very fast with very few episodes. I loved this anime a lot. I had downloaded it a long time ago but didn't watch it thinking that it wouldn't be half as good as other romantic comedy animes. But i was wrong. Yup, right from the start of the 1st episode, till the end of the 25th episode, i was rolling on the floor laughing. One of the many things that i like about japanese anime is their expressions. Whether laughing, crying, getting angry, getting scared, etc etc etc...all those emotions are always drawn and depicted properly and all those are funny to watch too. Especially in this anime, the part where people get shocked and scared are the best part.

So, this anime is about four guys and one girl. These guys are super cool, sexy and handsome. But each guy is a little different from each other. Ok, so these guys are allowed to stay in a mansion with only one condition. They have to turn a girl into a beautiful lady, if they do that, they can stay there for free or else they have to pay the rent thrice the amount. The "girl" which is the mission is the landlord's niece. [well, the landlord is also a beautiful lady too] So these guys are a little overconfident about them turning a girl into a lady but later their minds are totally blown off after looking at the girl. For real, she is a scary girl wearing white long robes like the ghost from the movie Ring, with lots of pimples and long black hair. They lose their hope for a moment to win the deal but then decide to change her for their rent's sake.

Now, let me tell you about these main characters. The girl and the four boys :
Firstly about the girl.

Sunako Nakahara : Well, she is a very beautiful girl but due to her obsession for darkness and horror and scary things, she turns herself into a scary girl always scaring off others unintentionally. An incident took place in the past that made her totally low self esteemed and no confidence girl. She was rejected by the guy she liked and proposed. He called her ugly and said that he hated ugly girls. From that time, the word 'ugly' became a taboo word for her. Though she seems like this, she is a good cook and a good house holder too. She is intelligent in her studies. She terms other good looking people as 'the dazzling creature' and always nosebleeds when she sees one. She is always shown in her 'chibi' form due to her lack of self confidence and when she's serious, she is shown as a grown up girl. She is quiet and scary.

Now, the boys. There are four of them.

Kyouhei Takano : He is the most famous among the four and probably the main hero of this series. With the golden hair and long legs he is a very handsome guy. Almost everybody gets attracted to him, girls as well as guys too. That's the reason he can't work anywhere as his boss, be it lady or a man, tries to sexually harass him. He's short tempered and thinks more about his rent rather than the girl. But later he changes and looks like he has fallen for Sunako.
Takenaga Oda : He is the guy with the black hair. Very brilliant, shy and a feminist too. He is the least scared of Sunako's scary impression. He is from a very rich family doing flower business at a very large scale. He's sent to this mansion to make him more normal. He has a girlfriend named Noi Kasahara and he often calls her Noi-chi.
Ranmaru Morii : Well, he is the playboy of the series. With the red hair and extremely charming he knows all the techniques and tricks to seduce a girl. Always playing with the girls. He is also from a very rich family having a chain of hotels. He is sent here to change as a normal guy as he spends a lot of money. He sometimes adores Sunako and even tried to kiss her once, until Takenaga stopped him [it was a comedy scene]. He too has a girlfriend later in the series called Tamao Kikunoi.
Yukinojo Toyama : Often called with his short nickname 'Yuki', he's a short blonde haired guy with big cute eyes. He is mostly depicted as a cute boy who others often think as a girl. He even cross-dresses a few times in the series. He is the most affected guy by Sunako's creepiness and easily gets scared. Very friendly and always cares about others and tries his best to keep everyone as a group of best friends forever. He comes from a middle class family and is rather the most common and regular among the four.

As i said, the story revolves around these guys and that girl with very cool comedy scenes. A very nice story plot to easily follow with no difficulty to understand. I must say i enjoyed watching it and i watched it many times. Do't miss it and watch it for sure. This is for all the people who watch anime and love romantic comedy.

Naruto 571 : Bijuu Mode

Awww man... I have been waiting for five years. Five years, since i started reading Naruto manga, for this guy to control that power in him. Yes, at last, Naruto Uzumaki has controlled the Kyuubi (Nine Tails Fox). I always wondered and wanted to see the combined and total power of Naruto and the Kyuubi, sorry, or rather Kurama. Yeah! Now that's the original name of the Kyuubi, Kurama. I never had an idea that a Bijuu will have their own names. I guess Masashi Kishimoto is just too awesome when it comes to what to give to the audience. Well, i'm writing this post a little late from the date of the release of this chapter but still i will write it.

Probably, every anime and manga fans would know about Naruto and for those who don't, you better start reading or watching it as it will totally change the world you live in. Now, going on with this chapter, i read it nearly 10-15 times already and still it doesn't bore me to see Naruto in Bijuu mode. The chapter starts with Naruto combining his body and mind with Kurama and entering Bijuu mode. Till now, he was only able to draw the chakra from the Kyuubi but not have full control over him. But now, after some serious and emotional talks and understanding Naruto has somehow convinced Kurama to help him and trust him.

There it is. Naruto in Bijuu mode in the above picture. Well, Naruto's bijuu mode is little different than the others. All other Jinchuurikis enter Bijuu mode and transform into that particular Bijuu completely but Naruto's transformation is a lot different. He turned into Kyuubi with all those tattoos and seals over his body and he's standing on top of the head of Kurama. His dressing is changed like that of the Fourth Hokage Minato, his dad, and has all those peculiar patterns over his face, dress and his body. Ok, now, all the other Bijuus, with the Four tail gone, that leaves totally five other Bijuus on Madara's side, start to attack Killer Bee and Naruto and yeah, Kakashi and Guy too. Each Bijuus fire Bijuu sphere at Kakashi and Guy. Here, we get to see the close friendship between Kakashi and Guy. Kakashi tells Guy not to do anything stupid and tries to use his Kamui (mangekyou sharingan) to teleport the Bijuu spheres to another dimension. But Guy stops him saying that even his Kamui cannot stop such terrible power, and tells that he would be opening his Eighth gate to counter it. Kakashi stops Guy as opening that gate would kill him. They are and will be the best friends and best rivals.

Right when they both stopped each other from killing themselves Naruto gets in to protect them by deflecting the Bijuu spheres. Kakashi, for a second, thinks him as his sensei, Minato. Seeing their Bijuu spheres deflected, all Bijuus attack head on. Naruto in Bijuu mode kicks their asses in one go. Naruto uses Kage Bunshin and Sennin mode to detect the stakes that's controlling the Bijuus. Kurama warns Naruto that this was the first time he changed into his Bijuu so the link was not perfect and it would last only for five minutes. Naruto and Bee fight with the other Bijuus. It's one of the best moments in this series. All the Bijuus fighting against each other, i mean, who wouldn't want to see that. It's a dream run for every Naruto fan.

After sometime Naruto finds all the stakes and Madara gets serious and tries to kill him. All the five Bijuus combine and concentrate their chakra and form a special single concentrated Bijuu Sphere. Naruto too forms his first ever complete Bijuu sphere. Both the spheres are fired off like a flash. It's one vs five. The chapter ends there. Aw man, this is what bugs me. And this is what everyone does. Best moment to come and they end that chapter or episode, leaving all the suspense and expectations to be carried on till next week.
