Hello there!
Just a quick message, I haven't written for so long! In September 2008 my baby girl was born, and since then I have obviously spent all my time with her, not paying much attention to my internet businesses and my blog. So much has happened, so I will write again soon about my experiences, but just wanted you to know that I am still here, all is great.

Well, what can I say......it has been way too long since I have posted here, so time for a quick update.
2008 will definately be my year, I am expecting a baby!! Very excited about that ofcourse.
But this blog is not about the baby, what has been happening with my online business?
Also there I am still excited, my business is growing, the products that I am using are great, so I am a happy person right now!

The past months I did spend a lot of time reading and learning, as I did realize that I was "just doing something", and not always with much success, so it was time to start educating myself.

Will 2008 be my year?

Where shall I start? I start to feel like a Nutrition expert, ha ha! I've been reading so much about health products lately, and about health in general, I really found something that gets me excited again, I want to develop this further so that the coming year I can really say I'm running my online health business and that I know what I'm talking about.

So right now, I'm in the "product checking" fase, I guess I've never been so healthy in my life!

I already mentioned the O2 product earlier, and the link is available on this site should you want to check that out again. Great product, I've been using it for about 6 weeks now, and although this product doesn't "show" an immediate effect, it is tasty, I do feel a little more energetic (I actually manage to do my exersize for 30 minutes without having to drop on the floor afterwards, like I used to) and I've lost a few pounds. So this product is staying and is used daily (just in a glass of water, and water we have to drink anyway every day, so no effort here at all)

I really only ordered it to see what this was all about, as the information I have seen and heard so far are very exciting. It is flu season so definately a good product to have at home.
I only received the product 2 days ago, so I can't say too much about it yet, but I do have to say that last night I did start to sneeze like crazy, started to feel a little down, like I'm getting a cold. So I started to take the Silver last night + today. I'm not expecting a supercure or something, but so far my cold has not developped further, so who knows....

Just a quick update, I'm going to add a new section at the bottom of this blog, with links of programs I don't like or that haven't made me any money (yet). Again, this doesn't mean that the program is a scam or that it doesn't work, it just doesn't work for me, so feel free to have a look at it anyway!
The first program in that list: Income4Dummies! I guess I was a dummie for signing up in the first place, so I lost $40 here....after several months I have made zero sales of this ebook/program, so I'm not going to waste any more time on this one. And as said before, I am not here to promote programs that I don't support 100%, so here it is, my advise: stay away from this one!

Let me explain.......
Have you heard of the Berry Tree? Well, if you are looking for online opportunities, you do see the Berry Tree site come by quite often. From the first time I saw the site, months ago, I liked it, there was something about it, but I didn't sign up. And every time the site came by when surfing on Traffic Exchange sites or through solo- ads, every time I thought, I have to check this one out soon, there is something about it.
So about 2 months ago, I got another email, about the Berry Tree. This time I checked out the site and signed up. Not a free program, but now the more I've read about it, the more I see it as an investment for my future.
You see, as I said at the start of this blog, 12 years I've travelled around the world, earned a nice income but I never built up any pension plan, not like I would have done if I would have had a job on land, with the same employer.....anyway, so when I saw the Berry Tree site, I thought that this could be my pension plan!

So how does it work? You sign up for a reasonable membership fee. For this fee you receive a fabulous product every month and you receive credits, the so called Berry Member Credits.
Once you have 10 credits, you are at the Bronze level and you start sharing in the Bronze pool.
You don't have to advertise this program, or do anything else, just sign up and due to your membership you receive those credits.
Now you are free to promote your site though, this way you can earn more credits so it takes you less time to get into this Bronze Pool. If anyone signs up through your link, this person will be placed on your "tree", and you start receiving a commission on every person you personally sponsor. But again, you don't have to do this, your membership will cover all this, so kind of like a saving plan, just a higher interest rate then you would get at the bank.

I have 1.25 points at this time, so I will have to report back here once I've reached my 10 points, and to share with you if I'm making any money yet. I sincerely hope so, and by looking at the pay plan and the promiss that success is guaranteed, I have good hopes. I have been attending some conference calls the past few weeks, and chatted with some members in the conference chat room, and all are very positive about the program, and really, after having listened to the conference calls, you will get excited about it too!

Anyway, time will tell, I will keep you posted. Now, to make this program more interesting, it is directly linked to another program: Automatic Builder.
Through Automatic Builder you can become a distributor of Nutronix Health products, and earn commission on your sales or your group sales. I'm not going to explain the whole program here, you just have to check out the links that will be on the left hand side here, but all I can say is WOW!!! I signed up, got emails from different Upline team members to welcome me and to offer their assistance building my team, and after a very short time, I already have 5 active paying members under me, which means I am earning money with this already.
There are different ways you can get yourself involved with all this, you can just be a distributor of Nutronix without the help of Automatic Builder or the Berry Tree, or you can upgrade in order to get yourself to a higher pay level. I signed up at the lowest level at the moment, so I am now a Jr. Executive of Nutronix (sound great no?). I also activated my Automatic Builder site, as through this site you get access to a lot of tools to help you build your business, and that's what I'm interested in, having my own nutrition/health business online. The products that are offered by Nutronix are great. At the moment I'm using 2 myself: the sublingual B12 vitamins, and the O2 Performance (I'll add descriptions in a minute). Now I've only been using the products for a very short time but I do feel great I have to admit!
So, over the next weeks you will get further feedback about the programs and how they are developping. I'll put some links and product information here so you can get the idea what I'm talking about and why I'm so excited about all this. For now, I'm happy with my SFI program and the Berry Tree/Automatic Builder/Nutronix so I'm not expecting to add any other programs in the near future. Let's develop this first and then we will see. Why SFI?

The past weeks I’ve been reading various other blogs en sites, and realized that the information on my blog is good (at least that’s what I think) but it’s too general at times. My purpose was to share my experiences and hopefully to help others who are just starting on this exciting journey themselves.
So the next few days I’m going to re-organize everything a little and hopefully give better feedback. My initial standpoint remains the same: I will not promote products or programs that I don’t know or haven’t tried, I have to fully believe in something myself, I couldn’t say nice things about something just to make my own sales, that’s not how I work and will never do. I’ll also be careful though with negative comments about other programs. Just because I didn’t like it or it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it’s a bad program. I’ll just try to be honest as possible…..)

Let me start with one of my main programs: SFI (Strong Future International).

This program is definately not for those who want to "get rich quick". There are many programs on the internet promissing you this so go for those programs if you want to earn thousands by the end of the month (I honestly don’t believe in those programs, but I’m sure there are people who are very successful with those)
When you sign up with SFI, it gives you access to excellent training tools, so even if you are new to internet marketing, you can learn the basics on this site, and this is all for free. Sign up is free, membership is free, you can remain free member forever if you want but there is one thing that many seem to forget: once you have signed up, you do have to become actively involved with the program in order to make money, it will not just happen by signing up!

If you sell a product you receive commission, it's as simple as that.
If you like to get more involved then just selling the products, you can also promote the program itself, and build your own team, anyone signing up through your link will be added to your marketing team, and you will then also benefit of any sales that are made by any of your team members (downline)
Now, if you do want to benefit of what other affiliates who signed up for the program after you are selling, you need to become an Executive Affiliate. When you become an Executive Affiliate, you will benefit from anyone who signed up after you (your Powerline).
In order to become an Executive Affiliate, you either need to sell a product, or purchase a product yourself. This is all up to you, but unfortunately this is where many affiliates get confused. They think they have to purchase something while they signed up for a Free program. The information available has tought me a lot, and I’m learning every day.
And I have been receiving commission every month so far, so I’m heading the right direction!

I can’t say it enough though, there are many people looking for an opportunity on the internet for whatever reason, to earn extra cash, to improve their standard of living, to learn something new, to get rich etc etc. We all have our own goals, but no matter what program you sign up for, if you don’t ACT, sit back and expect to get rich, you can forget it. Put your time and effort into whatever program you signed up for, and remember that it does take time to develop your skills and actually make money online. Take action! Think of your goals, remember why you signed up for a program and make it work, for yourself!

Has it really been a month since I last wrote? Time flies! All is well, I've been busy with many things but most of all I'm still excited as every day I am discovering new things online.
I believe I mentioned that I was looking at another program to add, which I did. Wow, it's too soon to say if it is going to make me rich, but I received my first product, which is great, and I keep receiving emails from various members in the team, all offering help, support and I even received paying members in my own downline already, thanks to my sponsor. I'm truly amazed and I honestly feel this is going to be another great adventure!
I will write more about the program and further details very soon, I just wanted to post this message to say that I am still here, in case you were wondering........

Oh, and for those who have been following my SFI adventure so far, I have been receiving my commission every month. No, I'm not rich but the potential is there, so more will follow about this program too. By the end of the week I will have my blog fully up to date, time to go to sleep now!

Starting all over again......

I am not used to this; at work, where I spent the last 12 years, I know exactly what I'm doing, I run my office efficiently, deal with issues with confidence, solve problems when needed, know the procedures by heart, I think I'm doing a damn good job! But now, on this "online adventure", I feel I have to start all over again. No idea how to advertise, how to make a website, how to attract customers etc etc, this is a whole new world for me. Now nothing usually stops me, if I don't know something I find out, and I am determined to show that this online marketing is not a joke, but a serious way of making money.
It's time now to start putting everything I've read into practise. Not that I haven't done anything the past months, but I'm having trouble to stay focused. I read something, try it out, read something else, and try that, forgetting about what I've read before. So I'm not finishing things, not seeing it through until the end, until it works. And that's when I get frustrated, wondering what am I missing, why are people not reading my lens, why is my rank nr 67,000 and not at least the top 25. Same with this blog, I know I do have some readers, but it doesn't come up in the search engines, even though I'm pinging and submitting to various search engines. I'm not a great writer, so writing my own ebooks or articles or as some programs suggest, create my own product, I just don't see myself doing that right now, so I'm sticking with the affiliate market for a while, until I really know what I'm doing.

So, what is the plan?I know which programs I want to focus on. I know it says to spread your eggs in different baskets, well, for now 2 baskets is enough, until I come accross the next opportunity (opportunity in my eyes, I'm not signing up for any more programs that "never fail". I don't really want to admit it, but I did sign up for one of the many programs out there (the Income System with Forex Enterprise and Nick Marks), I'm still within my 60 day money back guarantee, but I guess that's part of the trick. I don't want to admit I failed, so most likely I'm not going to ask for my money back, on the other hand, to be fair, I didn't follow all the steps as suggested, so I can't tell yet if it is the program or me.....The problem with these programs though, you sign up, pay the 1 time fee (at least it is one time, I'm even more carefull when it comes to monthly fees), but then, to make the system work you have to sign up for several other help programs, all with more fees to pay, and this adds up after a while. What guarantee do I have? Spending hundreds (that I may have but do I want to spend it just like that) for what? I totally understand that any business needs some kind of investment, but so much of what I am reading isso vague, you still have no clue really what to do, and really, that was my point of starting to write about this, hoping I could give some clear feedback about what to do and how, to those looking for the same assistance I was (and am) looking for, without the Bull S....I guess it is a little early for that, I am keeping notes and very soon I'll be able to put it all together, I just don't want to add anything here that doesn't help.
I can babble on and on about all this, but I don't want to bore you too much. For now, what I can say, the links posted here do help me with my businesses, so definately explore them. My 2 programs (SFI and Berry Tree) are developing as we speak (I just learned that as per their policy I can't disclose what I'm earning, but that I'm getting paid is a fact).
For now, all I can say is the following:

I) surf the net, discover what programs are out there, and choose the one (or two or three....) you feel comfortable with, after having read the compensation plan, the general information, and any info you can get from an eventual sponsor. I once registered for a program (can't think of the name now I'll have to double check that one, believe something with GOCP, does that sound familiar?) Anyway, I registered, and that's when the daily emails started to come in, advising me that my business was growing, look at the powerline and to become a paid member asap, so not to miss out. Now, nothing wrong with that, many programs work similar ways, but after having received another email about why I hadn't registered yet, I clicked the contact button (I believe from my sponsor, or maybe their contact email, seems so long ago now..) as I wanted to ask them some questions, about the products and international affiliates. All emails (I tried 3 times) came back with a delivery failure. So I removed myself from their mailing list, not worth wasting my time on a company you can't reach. So again, explore, send them a message and see if you like the response (if you get a response), if not, move on. The reason why I liked SFI from the start: you can sign up, explore all their training tools and their site and communicate with your sponsor and the corporate office, for free! To make the program work I now do pay a monthly fee, which I invested in the IAHBE membership (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs) which I am totally ok with, but the choice was there, remain free member and take it slowly, or upgrade, pay and start seeing results a little faster.

II)Like any business, you have to treat it as such. You can't just start promoting a product without having some kind of plan. How do you want to advertise, how much do you want to spend, what is your budget ( again, to start a business you have to be prepared to spend money, if you are expecting to make thousands but not investing anything, you will find out very soon that it just doesn't work that way. This doesn't mean that you have to invest thousands, a small budget will do, and you can do a lot of free advertising, but if you take it seriously, make a plan, build your business, spend time and efforts, it will become your business and eventually you will start making money

III) Most programs will give you links to promote, which is fine, but to have a serious business it is inevitable to have your own website, with your own domain name. The search engines will not display the affiliate links out there, as all are the same, except your personal id. You need to come up with your own name, again, build your own business, promote your own site. Now, this is where I'm kind of stuck. I do have the domain name and hosting company, but I have no clue how to create a website. For now, I forwarded the URL to one of my affiliate links, so at least I get to promote my affiliate products but with my own name, and I do admit, this looks so much more professional. (have a look, homebusiness-shopping.com) But, to figure out how to make my website, that's what I'm working on now. I did some searches on Google, looking for webdesign, and I found some interesting links on my IAHBE page.

Now, once I have my website up and running (can't tell when that will be but it will be my focus for the next weeks),I will return here to tell you what and how I did it, so we can then continue with the next step: Advertising. A great learning experience

I guess it is time for an update......I've been a little busy with moving places, but now I'm all settled, so time for some action on the internet again! In the meantime I have received my 3rd commission from SFI, so I am still continuing with this program (again, I'm not rich yet, I'm still working on building my team and advertising the business, which takes time, so I don't expect to see the "real" results until say January. But I'm patient and I'm sure it will be worth it (it already is....) When exploring the site (which I do every day as there is so much information!) I was reading the testimonials of the top performers of the program. Interesting stories of people who are very succesful with the program. I noticed one of them, Stone Evans. His name is everywhere on the internet! On the SFI site he explains what he has done to be succesful (not just with SFI), interesting reading. It does give you more of a "bigger picture", some names you see in every email, on every site, then it is nice to read that they are part of the same organization you are.

It seems so long ago since I started with all this, but it's only been 3 months. Wow, did I learn a lot! I'm not as "excited" anymore as the first few weeks, when I downloaded basically anything that ended up in my inbox (result: 2 virus warnings, noooo!!), read every email, every attachment and when I was tempted a few too many times purchasing credits on one of the traffic exchange sites (I bet my sponsors were happy with me!). All part of the learning process I guess. The spending has gone down (and don't worry,I didn't spend hundreds of dollars, or even worse thousands, like you read in all the horror stories of "failed marketers". Just a reasonable amount, to try out a few things. I do still download reports but only the ones that interest me. I do have to laugh though, with all those emails that are ending up in my inbox, so many are the same, and if I believe all, there are many "miljonairs" out there, looking at the paypal and bank account proof. Good for them if they really make this money,but how many of those honestly make that kind of money? I am not sure.......I guess I'll never know. What I do know, is that my current PayPal balance received shows: $33....(through a clickbank sale),better then nothing! My "other" earnings seem to go alright at the moment, I'm getting more and more invitations to participate in online surveys (from those companies I signed up for through Survey scout (http://adzas.surveysc.hop.clickbank.net/) I said it before, this was my very very first purchase, over a year ago, and literaly gives access to a database for life, you can pick the companies you want to sign up for, based on their compensation plans etc. I'm glad I found this site, I've had a lot of fun with it so far!
Those surveys definately don't make me rich, but $10 here and $10 there, at the end of the day it is all adding up, so a nice little extra. Obviously I'm hoping my SFI business is growing out to be more then just a nice little extra, time will tell, let's review this program again in January. Unless something happens you need to know,I don't want to write every month that I received my commission, because that is for sure, the commission is paid each month, guaranteed.

I did sign up for my 2nd program today, which I will talk about more once the first results are in. The next week my focus will be on: Webdesign! I have no experience with this, but I have an idea that I want to put into a website. I've looked at some design sites, but I'm going to learn a little more about the design itself first and take it from there.What started out as a part time "just for fun" thing, starts to take up quite a lot of my time, but I'm learning new things and I'm loving it! This is not really so much about the making money anymore, but the new things I'm learning are invaluable! Anyway, enough of me now, until next time!

Yesterday I entered the Christmas Contest of Business World List, it's worth a try no? No empty promisses of getting rich online, just an honest contest, you enter, you can win, simple!
Now I have to say, I am usually not very lucky when it comes to contests or drawings, I never win! But according to "The Secret", I can make this happen, so this time I am going to win, ha ha!
Anyway, besides this contest, I'm also playing the monthly lottery at home, you never know, I guess we all dream about winning a large sum of money one day...............and I just read on the internet that some Senator won the lottery for the third time!!! Sometimes life just doesn't seem to be fair.
On the other hand, everything always seems to be about money, we forget to enjoy the great things around us that we do have, we take things for granted and complain about everything, while we should enjoy ourselves and be happy with our health and the people around us we love.
Yesterday I was sitting outside, on the veranda, just enjoying the view, beautiful! I don't really know why I'm writing about this now, I guess the few readers I have are all gone now, ha ha....
I guess what I'm trying to say, it is good to want a better life and money does help, but we should also stay focused and remain honest. Every day I am receiving so many emails with links to "make money quick" programs, but do I really believe all those individuals are making that kind of money in such a short time? I do hope for them, but I do believe most of those promises are empty, stories made up, everyone is trying so hard to talk others into buying their program, while they know the program doesn't really work.....I can hear you all say: "Welcome to Internet Marketing", I just think it is such a shame that not more people are giving their honest feedback.
Don't get me wrong, again, there are many programs out there that do work (reason of this blog) and I also received some emails from some very nice and sincere (or at least I hope they are) fellow marketers who are giving very valuable information. I hope those who are reading my blog or who are receiving my emails also do feel my feedback is honest. Because that is what I want, make money, stay honest and be proud of what I am doing. And so far so good! (No, I have not made my first thousands yet, but as said earlier in this blog, Slow and Easy wins the race.....)

No major news right now. I'm promoting SFI like crazy, as I do like this program and my team is growing, yippiee!! I haven't signed up for any other programs yet, most I like you do need to put in a standing order, which is ok, but I don't have an address yet, as I'm in the process of moving places. So once that is all done, I will be looking at other programs as well.

Are there any programs that I have tried and don't like? So far there is one, I signed up but after one month I opted out. I know, not enough time to give it a chance to develop really, but I felt the description when I signed up just did not reflect the actual program, my advertising link didn't work and when I asked for help this wasn't fixed. No follow up from my sponsor, maybe just to soon for me, too much money while I wasn't sure yet what to do (too much money: When you sign up it only cost $10, but once you're in, there is another $59,95 for a franchise licence, each month, and another $59,95 that you need to put into your account......."InsiderBluePrint" was the program I signed up for.
Again, this doesn't mean this program is not working, I really didn't give it much chance to develop, and maybe in the future I may sign up again, who knows, but I just didn't like the different charges, and in one month I made zero with this, as I couldn't advertise my link properly.
Anyone who is very succesful with this program, feel free to leave your feedback here!

Besides that, I'm happy with everything I tried out so far. Especially the Free Advertising sites that I am using seem to give results, I'm getting reactions on my ads and the sites are easy to use, so for now no changes here.

I did remove one link yesterday, Desktoplightning. Again, maybe a great program, but not for me. I tried to advertise my link on several traffic exchange sites, and none of them accepted the link. I received several emails to ask why I didn't have anyone in my downline yet, but when you email back it says that you can't email them, any questions need to go through the site. When you sign up you also get a link directly on your desktop and I felt that my computer slowed down considerably, I removed it yesterday and all seems ok again.
Again, I don't want to talk bad about a program while it may be giving excellent results to others, but this is just my personal feeling.

Also, another lesson I learnt: be carefull when you download files. In the beginning I dowloaded just everything I could get, result, several virusses on my computer. All removed and all safe now, but just to be aware of.

I'm currently reading two reports, downloaded last week. One is about MasterAffiliateMarketer (not sure yet who wrote this one, usually the names of the author is allover, but not this one, but interesting reading though, and I just finished reading Blogtraffic Feedburner.
All interesting. Some of those reports can be given away for free, so let me see how I can put them on this blog (I'm still learning!!) so you can read them too.
I'll do that next time ok?

Day Off......

Today I took the day off, Sunday, spent the day with family, drove around a little, went to the beach for a walk, no internet all day!
It's too tempting to surf the net all day long, read the many emails I get in my inbox and sign up for more programs, but why should I, I found the program I like, so I am going to focus on this one (SFI) first now, and try not to get too distracted with other offers.
In order to build my team a little quicker, I purchased one of the advertising packages this program offers ($45) and the last 2 days 9 new affiliate members were added to my team, so this is great! Obviously I also have my own advertising campaigns still going on, but as I am just experimenting with the various options I have, I just thought I'd give this a try. So great tool, something I will definately recommend my new team members to use too.
Anyway, enough about all this, as I said, today was the day off, so tomorrow I'll see what else is new.
I also have to remember to focus on my other business. We are currently working on the logo and the menu (did I mention earlier it will be a bar, but a special one, more about that adventure another time.....)

It's been about 2 months now since I started ""making money online, and so far SFI is my personal favorite, the second paycheck is posted, and my business is growing. The earnings are not spectacular, but I do believe it takes time to implement the various techniques and to properly recruit new affiliates. I'm using many different programs in order to advertise the SFI site (and other sites), my favorites right now are ListBandit, DragonSurf, Opt-In-Advertising, Soaring4Traffic. I'm using others and I'll keep adding/removing my links, just so only my favorites are mentioned on this site.
Epage gives me the best feedback about my advertising campaigns, and I receive most viewings on this site. I'm still struggling getting readers to actually sign up, but slowly my teams are growing, so I keep using the same programs and techniques for now, and see how this develops.

I have to say, I do this as a hobby right now, not as a full time job, I haven't fired my boss yet and I'm not driving a Porsche, but for me this is just a fun experience. As I mentioned earlier, I'm about to open my own business with my partner and all I have learnt with regards to advertising will definately help us a lot!
And, besides all this, I do have plenty of time still to enjoy myself and especially as it is summertime, do what I like most, go to the beach! The problem is, even when I just lie on the beach all I think about is about advertising advertising advertising! Now I have checked out some of the other programs, I do like the ones that are selling healthy/nutritional products, this would be the direction I would like to go with my own website as well, which will be coming very soon. I've always had interest in this subject so I'm working on some idea's here which I will share with you as soon as I've formalized everything. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I'm enjoying every minute of this!
The main lesson learnt so far: Do not believe programs promissing you thousands of dollars in just a few days, I really believe a proper business takes time to set up and develop.
But, if you want to proof me wrong, and you honestly made good money within 1 month, share your experience with me and leave a message!

Oh no, I couldn't resist, purchased another program! I told myself that I would not buy anything else but first see how my programs are developping, but this one is just too clever, too good, I had to try it out. Income4Dummies.....I'm either a dummie for purchasing it or it is really this simple and even I am going to make lots of money with this (I'm saying "even" I, as I still consider myself a beginner, even though I'm doing quite well with all the various programs, I can see the "bigger picture", believe it or not. So anyway, I'll add the link here, it's too soon to tell if it is working but more will follow very soon!!!
Have to go, some sites to check out and credits to earn!!

Ok, so now I have my sites I want to promote, my advertising sites I'm using, but only limited views, so what is next?
Automatically you end up signing up for many Traffic Exchange sites, but do they really work? I have to say, I went from approx. 25 views a week to over 500, so I guess I'm getting there! Now the trick is how to get those views to result in sign ups etc, but that will be another chapter I guess.
So, those traffic exchange sites, I've read about them, and have to agree, how come this works, as those reading my sites are in the same position as me, they signed up just to get their sites read. But since I've become member I did react to several of the ads and signed up for more info, so I guess if only a small % of the readers is really interested in the many opportunities, then I should be getting some serious readers. Anyway, it made me curious enough to sign up and start exploring, and I purchased some credits as well, which had some great results. On the left you will find the links of the programs I find very useful (the list may change when I go along, again, these things do take some time to develop and figure out), but as most sites are free, click on my links and sign up and see for yourself, you can then decide yourself if you want to spend money and buy credits (you need credits to assign to your websites you want to promote, those credits can be purchased or you can earn them by surfing other sites, so again, if you don't want to or have a limited budget, you don't have to spend a cent if you don't want to). So, enough about this for now, more links will be added (or removed), all depending how they affect my business.
Talking about business, besides me sitting on the beach and surfing the net every night, I do have a "serious" business I'm about to start, with my partner. We're going to open a bar (that is if we don't go back to sea for another contract, that's what we are deciding now) but we are working on all the preparations, the menu's, location, name etc, so all exciting. At least I know now how to advertise our business on the internet, so that is one positive thing I can use. I'll post some photo's when we are up and running, but that will not be until we made our decisions. Pffff, all this is definately keeping me busy, I'm having a full time job here!

Just a quick message, as right now I'm way too busy working on my safelists and traffic exchanges (ha, I didn't know anything about these subjects about 4 weeks ago, and even though I still haven't it all figured out yet, I'm learning!)
But I just wanted to say that while I have been so busy with all this, I forgot to check my payment statistics and noticed that my first paycheck for the month of June is in! Now, I said that I'm going to be as honest as possible here, but that doesn't mean I'm giving you the amounts (yet....just in case this was a "one off"........). Once I'm positive about the outcomes I will start sharing that too, but for now, enough to say is that whatever I did in June has been rewarded!!!!

Recap of last Month's activities

Ok, time for a recap. Besides enjoying my holiday (I love the beach!!!) and relaxing (besides the luxury at work, we do work 7 days a week, so after a 6 month contract, rest is definately needed!) I have been busy surfing the net looking for money making opportunities. It's been about a month now since I purchased data entry mad easy. (click subject line to be directed to my link). I already mentioned earlier that this purchase was well worth the investment, but I do want to make one sidenote here. Like many of the other programs, this one as well promises you immediate income results, but I have to say, so far I haven’t seen any $$ coming in yet resulting directly from this purchase. I'm still happy with the program though, but just to show that on the internet there are many programs promissing you immediate results, I don't believe that (yet)! It is obviously also what you make of it yourself, and I am taking my time to read over the information and trying to implement as many of the techniques described, but this takes time. If you are new to online Marketing, and like me 1 month ago, struggling with all the different programs that are offered, go for this one. I had zero knowledge of advertising, and can say that I have placed various ads on various sites now, and looking at the tracking reports my ads are being read as well. In the first 2 weeks I did get a little carried away and made some upgrades and spent money on the campaigns that maybe I could have saved, but I guess that is part of the learning process. Right now I only have free ad campaigns, and now I’m trying to learn about how to get more traffic to the various sites. Those experienced marketers who may be reading this are probably laughing, as it all seems so simple but not for me! So my next subject: Safelists and Listbuilders. I’m probably missing something, but I can’t seem to figure out how to get/use these. I’ll be back as soon as I have a better understanding of this subject.
By the way, I’m only talking about the online marketing side here, I am still busy with the online surveys as well. I’m mainly using the European sites, so the €€ are adding up here (still not thousands but a nice little extra). For higher income I can sign up for more companies, as I have access to thousands of them, but right now I’d like to focus more on the affiliate market and see what is out there for me. Is this going to be one of those many success stories or……….still too early to tell, keep reading, I’ll be as honest as possible.

I'm in business! I signed up with a large Marketing Group on June 14. FREE sign up, so again, no risk. (it's not that I don't want to spend any money, I totally understand that to start any kind of business, some starting capital is needed, but to start, I'd like to try the free options first) I took the last week to read their website and to see how becoming a member would benefit me. Again, it is not easy, considering I have zero internet marketing experience, but I have to say, as soon as you sign up, you will receive emails from your assigned sponsor, giving you usefull tips. Honestly, I am still in the process of going through all this and working out which advertising campaign I'm going to follow to make this a success. Since I signed up around 12.000 others signed up after me, these FREE members now show up in my Powerline and you start making money if any of those members make any sales, recruit new members etc. For full details of this program, check out the link (find it on the left) and sign up, like I said, it is FREE and you really don't have to spend one single cent if you don't want to. In order not to loose your current Powerline, you do need to ensure you become an Executive member within a month, again, this does not have to cost you anything, just recruit new members, make a sale and you are there.
Me being unexperienced and not wanting to loose my current Powerline, I purchased a product (investment $29.95), I am now an Executive member and I have my first member assigned to me, so now I'm a sponsor too. It's actually quite interesting to become involved in all this, I'm learning a lot of marketing tools. Again, after being member for only 2 weeks, it's too quick to say how successful this program is going to be, but so far I'm enjoying the membership and the advertising tools I have learnt and implemented. How it all started

Just picture this: the last 12 years, I travelled around the world and visited the most exotic places (see picture, Tahiti - one of my favorites....), met many people from all over the world, and all this by just doing my job. I work(ed) for an American luxury Cruise line, and when I say luxury that doesn't mean just for the passengers. 12 years of having a cabin steward cleaning my cabin, breakfast, lunch and dinner served each day, no driving to work, a nightly nightcap in one of the many bars (no, I'm not an alcoholic but I do like my GT or PG....), attending many parties, eating lots of lobster and caviar, so yes, pretty spoiled when you think of it all. But still, after all those years, I started to wonder, what other exciting things are there to experience? Don't get me wrong, I love my current job, but we all know that sometimes you get to a point in life when change is needed. And I'm at that point now. I'm currently on an extended leave (a little longer due to some unforeseen circomstances) and since I have all this time, I started to explore the net and see for myself if all those money making opportunities, advertised everywhere, really make money! And then when I started to see the many many available programs, I decided to set up this blog, and as I experience the various programs, share my feedback and findings. I don't want this to be a fake blog with just lots of links hoping someone will sign up to anything, I really will share my honest feedback and hopefully within a year I can show you proof of the thousands of dollars I am making, or I failed miserably, who knows, that's part of the experience I guess.

So, the first program I signed up for, was "dataentry made easy" (any programs I mention, the links can be found on the side). This program was not free, but there was a money back gurantee, so nothing to loose, I try the program, if it doesn't work, I will ask for my money back, simple. This program has given me so much invaluable information, that I do not regret this purchase at all (so needless to say, I did not ask for my money back). It basically is a step by step guide with information on how to start advertising on the internet, and for me, a total Beginner (capital B!) this was useful, otherwise I would not have had a clue where to start with all this. Very usefull links to various programs (free) and advertising sites (free), so if you are new to this exciting world, I would defintely recommend this program. Maybe you found a program yourself and you are totally happy with that, feel free to leave a message here and share with me.
So that really is the start of my new experience. Before this though, about a year ago, I did sign up for an online survey program: http://adzas.surveysc.hop.clickbank.net/ , which gives you access to hundreds if not thousands of companies that pay for your opinion for surveys, product ratings etc. There are links for companies all over the world, so you can sign up for as many as you like, and I am still receiving many invitations to participate. This program has not made me rich, but a little extra cash is a nice start, I'm happy with the results so far.
Back to the marketing side, in order to start advertising on the net, I signed up for the following program (free, paid upgrade is optional): http://www.businessworldlist.com/members/index.cgi?adzas . Sign up for this one is free, you can upgrade once you are member, depening on what you want to do. Through this site you can send emails to hundreds of potential clients, or post your ad on their website. If you do consider signing up, then please do use the link, you will learn very fast that you need members to sign up through you, in order to make the programs work for both.....more about this later.
I only started to experiment with the advertising part 2 weeks ago, so there is lots more to come, every day the picture becomes clearer, now I'm waiting for the results to come in. Also, sign up for as many "paid email" sites, just by clicking on emails/websites you get up to $0.05 per click, so the more you click..... lots of money making oportunities, more later, time to go back and do some surfing and see what else I can find. (and by the way, I've seen many blogs about this subject, so I know I'm not original here, but everyone has their own ways of doing things so you can learn from all, and really, I'm keeping this for myself, so I can look back next year and laugh about the silly things I did to make some money, or I'm laughing because it worked! Who knows, just watch this space.....
