MinBlogIsode - Episode 47 - The Theory Of Fear

rsibmaier2000@yahoo.com (CitizenBen) — Sun, 20 Nov 2016 08:41:00 -0800

It has been a bit. The world has changed pretty drastically of late and not in a good way. So today I talk about John Carpenter's theory of Fear and how it relates to the world I find myself in and how my current trials and tribulations make me confront the darkest corners of who I have become. Then in RANDOM CRAP I get it together to talk Colt Cabana, my up coming Shrouded Cradle D&D game, my lovely wife's birthday, and how a group of Friends are going to take a sojourn to Chicago in a few weeks to see the Season 16 finale of Chikara. Listen or don't, you have a choice.

rsibmaier2000@yahoo.com (CitizenBen) — Fri, 18 Nov 2016 03:54:00 -0800

Almost 24 hours with no sleep for the 2nd time in three weeks, this time not due to charity but due to medical requirements, has led Casual Doug, The Beard, & your humble slice of Fabulous to just talk randomly about how EXTRA Life went, AC/DC song comparisons, starting a new Podcast called 'Dead Man Walken' where we read eulogies & obituaries in bad Christopher Walken voices, and other sorted mess. Doug said, in a MOST non-Casual way, that this episode was 'Poop', judge for yourself...

So if you read this or listen to the content we put out, please take the time to go to Extra Life's website and check out our Known World United team and donate if you can. If you can't, then please just pass this information forward on social media, snail mail, structure fires, or ritual sacrifice because let's face it, it isn't just about rolling polyhedral dice and pretending to behead Trolls, its about the kids!

Tonight we get together to formulate our 5E D&D setting and characters for our three part mini-campaign. There is only one problem, Elyssa is sick. So rather than being a responsible adult I decided to make it a Podcast episode. Thank you to Electric Evan, Awesome Elizabeth, THE Beard, & the Lovely Cassandra for putting up with my crazy whack-a-mole desire to run something really weird and different. So enjoy or don't, it really is only for Elyssa anyways.

MinBlogIsode - Episode 46 - Setbacks And Comebacks

rsibmaier2000@yahoo.com (CitizenBen) — Fri, 9 Sep 2016 16:18:00 -0700

I get back in the saddle to discuss just where the hell I've been, what I've been doing/not doing, and just why I am attempting to get back into the swing of doing these personal snippets again. There are no life affirming revelations, no moments of zen, and certainly no moments of existential peace, but there is some honesty and some hope. Then in RANDOM CRAP(!) I schill hard for Harwood Hobbies excellent miniatures I just finished painting, for the Parenthood some of my peeps are now entering into, touch upon how social media has put people you greatly admire within arm's length, and then talk some D&D. So give it a whirl, it's only 30 minutes and it'll at least make you think, "JEEZ, at least I'm not THIS guy...."

We then move onto the state of Ring Of Honor and where we think or fear they go from here. With Lethal's reign ending and the possibility of Cole Vs. O'Reilly, two years after PWG did the same damn thing, what does ROH really have to offer the wrestling fans? We wrap up with everything MN Indy! I haven't posted much lately....I don't know if that will change or not, but here is a BOATLOAD of miniatures I have finally finished. Heel Turn Radio - Episode 62 - A Glorious Return

rsibmaier2000@yahoo.com (CitizenBen) — Sat, 3 Sep 2016 07:54:00 -0700

The Beard & the mentally addled YOUR King Ginger reunite and it DOES feel so good! We break down the strange love hate relationship we have with the current main roster 'Product'. Between the teases of wonderful things and the nonsensical insanity of the booking we find ourselves flummoxed. We then touch upon NXT and how it NEVER ceases to be enjoyable. We remind you that you should ALWAYS be listening to Loose Ropes Wrestling, our Canadian Brothers from other mothers, the biggest Kenny Omega fans walking gawd's green earth. And last, but certainly not least, we aren't openly weeping, BUT we will say that the CWC is damn good at pulling on our collective heartstrings. So gird your loins, because we are BACK!

And as always, well from now on, your official L.E.W.G.I. endorsed Podcast is brought to you by the beauty, the majesty, the wonder that IS....Spot Monkey Media. Learn it, Love it, LIVE by it!
