I don’t know what I would do without my sister. She is so organized and helpful, and I am the exact opposite. She has always looked out for me, and given me good advice. I moved a few months ago, and it would have been a disaster without her. She helped me pack and organize, and then even recommended I go to wirelessinternet.net to connect my wireless internet. I know she is busy with her own family, so it means a lot to me that she takes the time to help me out. We have always been close, and try to spend a lot of time together doing fun activities. Last week we had a spa day, and next week we are going to take her kids to an amusement park while her husband is away on business. I love my nephews, so to repay her for all her help I babysit for them so her and her husband can spend some time together. It’s nice to be able to do something for her since she does so much for me

Ladies, I have found this great Online shopping site called http://www.become.com , you have to check out. They have some great discount prices. I have been doing some spring cleaning since the warmer weather has come early, and I noticed my Foyer Rug was looking tattered so I was browsing online and stummbled on this site. They had what I was looking for bacova rugs 56 x 26 And it was a great price and the color was perfect . So I decided to look for more items that I needed to "Freshing" up ! I knew I needed a New Shed For All the outside toys for the kids and I found some great prices on home depot storage buildings . I had the pleasure to get to read a Poem book, for Mothers and Daughters . It was a very good, it made me laugh and smile as well as think too. It was usually on a colored piece of paper, folded in half They were short poems that were sort of Dr. Suess-y or Shel Silverstrin-esque. They made poetry something to look forward to. Each note was a story, a message, a secret, a rhyme, each note made me stop whatever I was doing and surrender to the surprise inside. I don't think either of them considers themselves poets, but they defiantly gave me a hunger(wink!) for poetry."

In Toddlers and Tiaras , to keep the kids up and running they take a mixture of MOUNTAIN DEW & RED BULL!! AN equivalent to 2 CUPS of COFFEE FOR an adult . Do 3 or 4 year olds NEED this. They really need to have rules at these pageants , These children are going to become 1. Obese , 2. diabetic , 3. Have lasting effects from doing this at this young of an age.
YOU CAN SEE THAT THE PARENTS DON'T WORRY ON THE HEALTH BENEFITS BY LOOKING AT THEM , THEY DON'T SEE THAT THEY WORRY ABOUT THERE DIET, BUT AT LEAST CARE FOR YOUR CHILD'S DIET.

And the Candy they give them, AKA Kiddie Crack. They are hurting there child's future , those poor little girls are not going to know what is healthy and what is not, There teeth are going to start to rot

Moms of pageant girls , Show them the right kind of energy , A granola bar, an Apple , Trail mix, Etc . Not PURE SUGAR! It just saddens me. They need to have rules !!!

Tasty Tuesday

Cake Pops :
What you need:
Cake
Frosting
Candy coating or chocolate coating
lollipop sticks
wax paper lined baking pan
Styrofoam shape
sprinkles (or any decorations)

Directions:
Crumble a cooled unfrosted cake ,Scoop out 1/2 tub of frosting, mix with crumbled cake. Once moist put a ice cream scoop ball of mix in your hand and roll in a small golf ball sized ball set on the lined baking pan melt candy coating (small amt) stick in the sticks tap on side of the bowl then stick in the middle of the cake balls, and put in fridg. for 1 hour or freezer . Next in a small bowl put more candy coating or baking chocolate bar and microwave for 30 seconds stirring till melted , to thin mix in 1 tbls of veg oil or Crisco. Dip cake pops in coating and tap lightly till it stops dripping , stick in Styrofoam shape to dry . Enjoy

FRIDAY FAMILY GAME NIGHT

We have a tradition on Fridays to get us back together from the busy work/school week with a family game night . The twins enjoy Candyland

The Colors and learning to take turns is great for our 4 year olds they enjoy it so much. They also think its so funny when we have to go back if we get the plum tree troll . Lots of laughs and smiles and its a good time to reconnect

And the oldest one enjoys Apple to Apples, Which is a hilarious game where you have the current player select a description card and the other players try to pick, from the cards in their hands, the Things that best match that description. The player with the description card then chooses the Thing that appeals most and awards the card to the player who played it. You have to receive 5 description cards to win . Believe me you will be rolling out of your chairs and your face will hurt with smiles when playing this game.

So what games will you be playing tonight with your family?

Come on worrying about curves and counting calories? Is that necessary for a child. I understand about eating healthy , at least let them know you are trying to get the family to eat more healthy and not saying that your going on a diet, that's how eating disorders come about. Ohhhh my goodness and the shaving of the child's back , REALLY?
I am all for looking your best and grooming but that's a little extreme . I looked up how much it is to register a child for a pageant and its alot of money ( About $250) plus you have travel expenses , hotel stays as well as the costumes and accessories , hair and make up . Now if you add all that up its almost over $1000. Here's a mom on here that uses a LIMO for them to travel to pageants in , that's a little extreme there mom.
Now these little girls are little cuties don't get me wrong, But I just cant comprehend the amount of money these parents spend .The little girls kind of look like little robots , not very natural movements.
I giggle about the BUTT PASTE lol. The Make up they Put on these little girls just make them look extremely older , they should have more pageants with LIGHT make up more softer of a look , they don't need concealer on their faces are pimple free , flawless. They are Beautiful girls .
Now there should be regulations on the costumes , that one little girl with the Police car and that itty bitty outfit she was wearing, that just wasn't age appropriate, they could have made more fabric to that, and it would have still been cute. These girls don't need to look like that. Most of the little girls look like they enjoy doing pageants which is great , But there should be some regulations on attire and make-up lets not forget they are kids. Its not miss America, or Miss Universe where that is more age appropriate to wear those items .

Every Tuesday at some point in the day, I will have a yummy recipe my family enjoys for me to make and then I will share with you all.
This week its Yummy "Lemon Flower Pot" Cupcakes with Yummy Lemon Frosting .

Lemon CupCakes
Ingredients

1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg instant lemon pudding mix
1 3/4 cups water
3 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
Cupcake papers ( Green )
Toothpicks
Styrofoam ball
flower pot or bowl

Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . Spray your cupcake papers with non-stick cooking spray.

2.In a large bowl, mix together cake mix and pudding mix. Pour in water and egg whites. Beat on low speed for 1 minute. Increase speed to high and beat for 4 minutes. Pour batter into your Cupcake pan.

3.Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Frosting
1/2 cup butter (not spread or tub product) or 1/2 cup margarine (not spread or tub product)

1 (1 lb) package confectioners' sugar , sifted
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon milk
1 dash salt
Directions:
In a medium size bowl beat Butter until soften, Then beat in Sugar, Lemon rind, Lemon Juice, Milk and salt alternately. Continue to beat till soft and stiff.

**To make "Flowers Pots" Get a Styrofoam ball from any craft store, Find a flower pot or cute bowl to lay it on or in . Stick foam ball with a toothpicks then place cupcakes around ball (without frosting). Once Cupcakes are on toothpicks and on the ball , Then fill gaps between cupcakes with the remaining green cupcake liners or use tissue paper,Then fill a pastry bag ( Or storage baggy and cut tip of bag ) and find any tip you would like to use . Apply frosting. Once frosting is on you can chill in fridge or serve immediately . HAPPY BAKING :)

Good Morning Ladies (or Gents) ,
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a Busy ,stressful, Full weekend, Let me tell you about it and need your opinion or stories that relate :

So Saturday started out great at first My angels (with horns)
At right were actually very good in the beginning of the morning, Usually I hear the loudest banging on my bedroom wall about 6:30 am , them wanting to get up etc.. But they decided to play with there toys .

So I jumped up and ran to the kitchen to grab a cup of Coffee before I had to really get them up for the morning , Just 1 cup before the monsters are running around and before the baby needs her bottle and before the 12 year old tells me he is bored @ 7:30 in the morning . Just let me drink 1 cup, and so they did. Until... This one ------>Decided to do a dive on

<------this one, Then it was time to break it up and start the MOMMY day:

So Breakfast is being made and my children are eating nicely the baby is quiet and my 12 year old is actually dressed at 8am:

So I think to myself , I hope the day goes just as well, I shouldn't think that far cause , it just wont happen and I know that ha-ha.

I start a load of laundry and notice this :

Really? Why am I the only one that knows how to place a FULL toilet paper roll, back on the roll? I ask around and there is know one that confesses of the empty toilet paper roll

NOBODY DID IT?

That's OK I did it for you , Just like every time , especially when you sit down on the toilet and there is nothing on the toilet roll...REALLY?

Then later that day we went to Kmart to do some shopping well wasn't that a trip , now before we left we told them the reason we were going and why and that no one was getting anything that day because it was unnecessary. Once we got there The second oldest Jaden starts in ughhhh I want this , but cant I have this... daddyyyyy but I want this..

And so this angel child from the morning looked like this example

So this is what the daddy said to me last night when I had to get back up to deal with the baby @ 1Am after he watched a movie he says " I have to crash (sleep) " I look at him and said "Um I wish I could sleep " He replies "Well its your Job to get the baby"..I think to myself :"MY JOB?".... I say allowed "When do I get a day off?" No response........So this is ME this morning

Girls and there High Heals

I know that girls love there shoes and all that I understand completely , since I'm a girl ha ha. But I think its a little extreme for little girls to wear High heals ...

You might know the above pic to be a power celebrity couples daughter. But Don't you think that her feet are hurting ? I look at the left picture and cringe. But the right picture its like she was born in them , for example:

Come on really, now that has got to be silly looking , and how would a toddler? preschool young girl learn how to walk in them Or play on the playground .

Yeah that would be ridiculous

I understand its a hot trend but come on Mommy's :

Leave the High Heeled shoes for dress up...

I saw this on Good Morning America yesterday , and just had to put my opinion out there about it.
These clothes that the designers are selling to moms are outrageous , Yes they are so cute but really would you let your child go out side and play, or even eat, drink lol or breath in these extremly expensive childrens clothing . Im my opinion its rediculous, they are going to out grown them in no time, they are going to get stained and the kids will just throw them on the floor for the animals to lay on. They must think children just stand or sit all day long and its ok to sell clothes for over $400 a jacket . here are some examples from Gucci :

Now that you watched that , whats your thoughts? I think it was wise of Abby moving Maddie from the top just to give some more kids a chance. Brook making the cheer team is great, she should be able to spread her wings and test the waters in everything she wants to try. I think he girls put blood sweat and tears in there routines to please Abby , she can be so rough on them. Now Cathy from last season and owner of ( Candy Apples) should feel ashamed of herself with the move she pulled on having older children in the competition which wasn't their age group And to use her daughter in the mix , shame on you Cathy ...Play Fair!! Serves her right getting 8th place.
Do you think Abby wanted to stir the pot , when she wanted to go tell candy apples good job sincerely? The moms have really stop to think when they have discussions in front of the children ... they don't need to see that , inappropriate behavior to all of them . The Real Housewives of Beverly HIlls Finale

It was a interesting season for Beverly Hill, Sad to see it go for now. Beverly Hills had alot of Drama this year as well as odd things too, between Taylor and Kim those made the show this year. The beautiful wedding that took place last night between Lisas daughter Pandora and her husband was amazing and made me have a sniffle and a tear roll down like I was there or watching my own daughters wedding. I feel sorry for Kim but am glad that she has checked herself into rehab , she so desperately needed help and I don't think anyone got that I hope she recovers from her drug and alcohol addiction. Adrean and Paul they just crack me up they are so down to earth and friendly , this episode with his colonospcopy was hilarious I was in full giggle .

And Poor Taylor and her daughter, I really hope thing look up for her she has been through so much this year. Kyle is a hoot I love her down to earth personality, and she tells you how it is . I think next year we will probably see more of Deena (Taylor's friend) and her expensive taste.. As well as Brandi stirring up the pot. As for Camile we will learn about he yummy pex looking boyfriend most likely ;) HATS OFF TO YOU GIRLS , LOVED THIS SEASON

OK Moms , Would you allow your daughter to be in pageants & why. Take a look at this show Toddlers & Tiaras...would you become a crazy pageant mom or do you think you would be level headed? I look at my daughter and of course think she would win all the tittles haha and think to myself would I be a crazed mom in these contests , they are just little girls, should they have all this make up on and hair done as well as mani and pedis ,Hair extensions (Really?) fake nails , fake eyelashes $1000 Dollar Dresses ?! Really ?

I'm obsessed in watching this show even though at time I'm appalled on the mothers behavior or even at times the child's behavior and how the parents allow them to act that way.

Good Thursday Morning , Mommy's and Housewives !

I just wanted to share with you my latest edition to our family, and why I have been a little preoccupied lately :)
This is Olivia and she was born on Nov. 9th 2011 , My first Girl !!! Love her to bits :)

She has been such a joy to our family , our boys just absolutely love her. She is very high demanding & divaish lol ( hmm not sure where she gets that from ;)....)

So I have been at her beck and call lately , I have also been baking and truly LOVE it I have a pic of the latest items I have been making for the family:
