This is a requested video a subbie wanted to see how I achieved the look from my wig review video. So I'm posting the tutorial now. Let me make this clear: When I started this video I was going for a different look, and I ended up changing the process and palettes half way through which is why I have so many products namely palettes being used in one video. This look can be done with literally one palette with warm tones. I suggest the Jaclyn Hill palette or even the Violet Voss palette.

Wig Review: Xenon by Bobbi Boss

Listen Xenon is a bomb ass wig. Its gorgeous on me and I think it would look amazing on any and everyone who wears it!. It's soft, sleek, chic and just versatile. It's a gorgeous wig. It only has ONE DRAWBACK. And I can't remember if I mentioned this before or not but...IT SHEDS BADLY! We're not talking a few strands here or there. I mean you touch it, plugs are coming out. I wished this wig didn't do that, but I was thinking it was from me plucking the wig and tugging on it with a small comb instead of a wig brush. Either way, the wig is excellent except for that. I can tolerate it for wearing during videos, going to the grocery store, but going out on a date, job interview/work, or just being out with my folks I wouldn't wear it. Shedding hair can be incredibly embarrassing. But maybe I just got a bad batch which happens from time to time when wigs are mass produced. Anyway, I wanted to give you the full tea on Xenon. Some of this stuff I forgot to mention, but it was vital in regards to the wig and its wearability.

My LATE Jaclyn Hill Palette Tutorial & Review | PsychDesignTV

First up is a once over of the palette. You'll see all the colors and the names. Second, you'll see the makeup tutorial and finally my thoughts on the palette. So let's begin palette overview first.

Rundown On Jaclyn Hil's Palette:

Positives

1 - Small Pans: It has small pans but it has plenty of product.

2 - Color Payoff/Buildability: Amazing. Pigmentation is dope. Very good shadows. The shadows are buildable. Start off with a small amount then build the color up.

3 - Blendability: These shadows blend out softly and beautifully. They are absolutely amazing. These are some soft shadows.

4 - Shimmers: like them. They are smooth and glide on the eye beautifully. But they are a bit chunky, they have a bit of fallout. There was no need for a base. No concealer no paint pot. It went on the lid beautifully with a huge color payoff.

5 - Mattes: Smooth blendable. They blend beautifully and are just gorgeous.

6 - Color Selection: The colors in the palette are amazing. And you can do SO MUCH with this palette. It is amazing you can do smokey eyes, everyday looks, glam looks. Its an all in one palette. No need for a companion palette.

Negatives

1 - Names Printed On the Back: It's a little inconvenient but it's not something that was a deal breaker. 2 - Kickback: The kickback is heavy in the palette. Which helps make it dirty and stained eyeshadow.

3 - Packaging: Lightweight but takes up a lot of space and because it is white it gets dirty fast. And because of the kickback, the shadow can stain the white packaging.

All in all the palette is worth it! It's beautiful! Definitely would recommend to beginners and advanced makeup users. It has everything you need. From color to a beautiful smokey eye this palette is bawse!

How yall doing, how yall doing, how yall doing LMAO!

Listen this wig gave me hell! It looks amazing but I was not feeling it when I tried this wig on. It took some fiddling but it turned out cute. It was just very different from what I normally buy. But I liked the wig its just it requires a lot of fiddling and maintenance that I normally don't have to do.

Which annoyed me beyond belief.

Wig Specs:

Softness: Yes it was amazingly soft and comfortable.

Curls: Bouncy and light. The curl pattern is gorgeous

Weight: Extremely light it was the kind of wig you really love because it's so light and easy to wear.

Style: Absolutely amazing style. The cut was beautiful, curls amazing, and it fluffed up nicely without losing its shape.

Capsize: Once again the cap size is small. Heed my warning it will be difficult for a big head girl to pull this down so it is wearable.

Overall:

Do I like the wig concept yes I do? Do I love it, no I don't. Will I wear it again, Probably? I am not opposed to it. The longer I wore the wig the more it grew on me. This happens when you try out new things. You learn to love them and that's what will happen with new thangs lol. It's a process. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. It's an eh its cool type of thang.

Wig REVIEW: Freetress Equal Lace Deep Invisible L Part

When I first put this wig on I was not feeling it. At all. I can honestly say middle part wigs are not my best friend. I never liked them. I always thought the shape of my head would not allow me to successfully wear a middle part wig. Well...I was wrong!

As I explained in the video, as time progressed I found myself grabbing this wig more often and wearing it all the time. It became my go-to piece. I wore it ALL THE TIME! It was effortless. And as you can see it just looked good to me no matter how simple or bold my makeup was.

Kiss Blossom is one of my favorite wigs. When I first tried her on I was not a fan but after wearing her for a while I fell in love with her. My dislike came from my error, not the wig. The construction was amazing. It stretched over my big ole head. I really loved this wig.

Wig Review: Its a Wig Lace Wig Varuna

Listen I absolutely love this wig. I remember when I first bought this wig. I was so afraid of the color but man its so damn beautiful! Its soft, easy to brush out, it tangles a bit in the back but all in all its a great wig. This blunt bob cut is my JAM! Loving this style it's absolutely gorgeous.

So Let's Rundown The Specs:

Softness: 10 out of 10
Cost/Affordability: Wallets are Safe. 100% Affordable
Cap Size: Big Head Friendly No, But Straps Do Adjust So It Can Work With a Little Elbow Grease
Style: 150 out of 10, the cut is beautiful, it lays nicely, its just stunning
Color: Its adventurous but I love the color. If your stepping outside of your comfort zone this is the wig for you. Just try it may learn to love like I did!
Maintenance: This wig requires a bit of maintenance not much. Keep a brush with you. Make sure you wash your wig with gentle wig shampoo to keep the wig from gathering and clumping after a month or so of wear.

So let's just talk about this wig. This is Outre Curly Synthetic Brazilian Boutique Lace Front Wig (4-inch deep lace-free parting). It's currently $27.45 on wigtypes.com. This is a lace front and it has a 4 inch part. Now its described as a free parting wig. Which means it allows the wig to move. You can change the part, it can be a right or left side part or a middle part. The is easy to cut the lace off and really easy to install. I am so in love!

I used to HATE Outre with a passion. I had a bad experience with one Outre wig and it turned me off to them for a long time. Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Review | PsychDesignTV

I really wanted this lip paint. Rihanna made sure to display it on several different skin tones and ethnicities. I was very happy with that because it allowed us as the consumer to see if it will work your skin tone. Plus there are many reviews of this lipstick on YouTube by other YouTubers as well. But if you want my personal opinion take a look at the video...

THIS LIP PAINT IS EFFING BAWSE!!!!! I LOVE IT. It layers beautifully, it doesn't crumble or ball up. It's not patchy. It only takes 1 coat for maximum color and coverage. And it is buildable!!!! I love this. I highly recommend everyone try this lip color its just a beautiful and gorgeous shade that works for everyone.

So in my personal opinion, if I had to say if it's a Fail or F*&$#ing Fantastic, It's a F*&$#ing Fantastic!!

The formula for this is really good. But...It is not transfer proof, takes a minute to dry down (not as much as Jeffree Star's formula), and its very liquidy. For someone who is not advanced in applying liquid lipsticks, you may have a little issue. So you should definitely take your time and start with one coat. Which essentially is all you need. But layering is possible. It doesn't crumble or ball at any point of wearing it. Wth all that being sad I really enjoyed this liquid lipstick. I was pleasantly surprised.

Are you looking for that natural hair look but it isn't your texture or you want to change it up?! Check out Outre Quick Weave Big Beautiful Hair 3C Whirly! I loved this wig. It was a little deceiving coming straight out the package but it was gorgeous once it plumped up a little. I would recommend this wig to any and everyone looking to give their hair a break and change it up a bit...for the culture of course LMAO!

I found this wig to be soft, easy to fluff, and just a really great natural hair looking wig. For those of us whose texture isn't prominent and more so on the coarse dry side, this wig gives us that typical "natural girl" look we're all going for but can't get. I don't have the soft bouncy curls that usually represent natural hair. Sometimes I want that look other times I love wearing my natural hair. It's amazing that we can switch it up without messing up our own textures and cause damage. I just put a few platts (hanging braids, braids that are not cornrowed) in my head or twists slap on a wig cap and wear my wig. Then when I come home I snatch that sucker off and go on about my business. It's a win-win situation here.

One thing I will admit that I forgot to go in-depth about in the video was the difference in the picture and the wig itself. The wig is very deceiving from the picture. In the picture, the wig looks massive with layers and all kinds of full realness. But it is simply not the case when taken out of the package. When taken out the package the curls are popping but it's very flat and thin looking. I'm positive with a pic, some old-fashioned finger combing and some patience you can get the wig to that level or close to it. Other than that I loved the wig. Still, love it to the day. I bought about 3 more of this wig in various colors because I loved it so.

*Side Note: I did mention SOME of this in the video but I wanted to go in-depth just a little further so you would understand. If I had a picture of what the wig looked like when I took it out from the beginning I would've shown you exactly what I was talking about. But I don't. Mental note taken and will do for the next vlog/video posted.

And for all you hair cops that want to roast me because I wear weaves and wigs. First off its cool that you like being natural all the time. I'm all for YOUR happiness. But in the words of Jay-Z, "Can I LIVE?!" (BTW that question was rhetorical). I mean I don't dictate to you how you should wear your clothes, your makeup, what you should eat or anything that involves your life. So if you don't like my hair videos or anything that I do. Makeup Corner: Queen of Hearts Palette Review | PsychDesignTV

I used the Queen of Hearts Palette on my eyes. I FINALLY USED ONE PALETTE! LMAO, I really like this palette and I'm itching to buy the others this company has produced as well as the individual shadows. I'm really happy with the quality and I'm just in mad that I SLEPT ON THIS SHADOWS FOR SO LONG!

Coloured Raine is an indy makeup company that is owned by a woman named Loraine. She established her company in 2013. A visionary for a cosmetic line that was pushed the narrative of self-expression and diversity. She created a devoted following for her AH-AMAZING liquid lipsticks and glosses. BEYOND HIGHLY PIGMENTED (it basically means it has a lot of color pay off I know your tired of seeing and hearing that word. I'm gonna find another way to say pigmentation...gathering thesaurus now! lmao) they are comfortable to wear and again I can't stress this enough, the color pay off is absolutely stunning.

After the success of her lip products, she ventured into eyeshadows and highlighters. Coloured Raine eyeshadows are a makeup lovers dream. They are so soft and smooth. They blend effortlessly and still have a strong color pay off. Sometimes when you blend a shadow too much you can lose color or if you have too much pigmentation the color with stain and never blend out (ala ABH subculture and prism). But Loraine was able to find that happy medium between strong pigmentation and blend ability.

Her eyeshadows are BAWSE. The only issue I had was with the shimmer shades. I had a little fallout but that happens with shimmer shades. The shadow is soft enough to be pressed across the lid and it will have no fallout rather than patting it in like I do with most shadows. When and IF you watch the video below you see what I mean.

All in all, I have to say these eyeshadows are the BEST I've ever used in my life. I had high end and indy brand makeup in my arsenal here. They range from awesome to uh this could be better and Coloured Raine definitely ranks on the tippy top of Awesome tier!

The packaging is gorgeous.

In regards to their shipping: Coloured Raine is very efficient making sure they run a tight ship. Never had an issue. Product shipped on time and tracking was readily available. Coloured Raine is BOMB!

If I had to give them a rating of yay or nay my answer is 100% hands down YAY!

Product Review: Garnier Halloween Style VoxBox by Influenster!

Let's review these two products...

The Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch Controlling Gel

I used it 3 times to twist my hair and hold the curls. For the most part, it does hold a curl (with rollers) well and define a twist pattern. But when it comes to my natural curl pattern....it fell flat. It didn't define my curls at all. If I were to use this to define my curls it would take massive amounts of gel. Something I have no interest in buying 4 or 5 bottles at $8 a pop for one or 2 days of popping curls.

Other than that its an ok product for a curler rollup or a good twist out. If that's what you need then, by all means, have at it!

The Curl Renew Activating Milk Spray

This product did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me or my curls. I have very tight, zigzag, coily, curls. Honestly, this was meant for someone with loose curls. So I won't bash the product, it just wasn't meant for me.

All in all this product system isn't meant for a girl with 4C hair and honestly, it's not something you should run and grab. But if you want to be my guest, trust me I won't stop you.

Okay, folks so I finally got the chance to get Danity by Freetress and honestly I didn't understand the hype of this wig. I felt like it was beautiful in style but the execution was sigh...it could've been better. However, it could've been a manufacturing issue and the wig could be defective. But in personal opinion, it's not worth the coin.

I had Danity for about 2 months now. I wore her just like any other wig but immediately after taking it out of the package the lace ripped down to the cap! I was so upset. But I kept the wig to see how the rest would hold. Obviously, the tension on the lace was too much and it had no choice but to rip. I have a big head, wigs made with a very small cap and taut lace can cause serious problems for me.
Danity also had combs but in odd places (please see the video for a photo of the cap). I ended up having to use bobby pins which I always do for added security but this was necessary. Without the bobby pins, I know for a FACT that wig would be gone with one good blow of the wind! The shedding was bananas. I've never had a wig shed so much ever. It was constant. What you see in the video was only a piece of the shedding I experienced. My floor and clothes had hair everywhere. It's just not a wig I would recommend to anyone simply because it's not worth the excess drama that comes along with it!

Product Review: Lash Poetry Lashes

Hello, EVERYONE! I'm back again with another product review. Today we're going to review Lash Poetry Lashes. But first I'm going to give you some info on Lash Poetry....

Lash Poetry has been in business for several years. They provide false lashes that are made with mink fur. According to their site, they are cruelty-free and every pair of lashes are made with quality mink fur. Lash Poetry says they are committed to top quality design and craftsmanship. Every set of lashes has a 30 Day Guarantee. Lash Poetry Lashes come in several styles. I received 3 pairs of lashes:

Big Sexy $45

Luscious $35

Kitty $35

I have not worn Kitty so it has not been reveiwed. But I will say they are just as soft as they other lashes!

Complete Rundown:

Shipping: N/A

I'm not sure about shipping. Lash Poetry is in my home state so I was able to get them without shipping required.

Quality: 10 out of 10

They are soft. So freaking soft. They are gorgeous. I had no issues with fallout these lashes are BAWSE. I've worn them several times and cleaned them. They retained their softness and shine.

Customer Service: N/A

These lashes were given to me so I cannot give an accurate review of the customer service. But from personal experience, the owner is reliable, trustworthy, and great with her customers. I have no doubt that if you order from Lash Poetry you will receive top notch customer service.

3 Week Experience: 💛10 out of 10🖤

I got these lashes 3 weeks ago. I tested them out on myself as well as my mother. When I wore them I have to admit I was skeptical because the band wasn't as thick as I was used to. But that ended up not being a factor. They worked out great and I'm glad the band wasn't super thick. It gives your look a natural appeal. I tried out the Luscious eyelashes when did my makeup. Check out the pictures below:

Luscious $35

Besides being a little itchy for me (my eyes are extremely sensitive. I trimmed the lashes so they would be more comfortable for me.) they wore beautifully. I used Revlon lash glue and they held up great.

Big Sexy $45

My mother wore the Big Sexy lash, she went to the Mason Ball with my father. She wanted a dramatic bold lash with her look so I decided to test out those lashes.

I had to trim because my mother has small eyes. And with her being a little older 😉sometimes a big lash like that can be a bit much. We want drama and glam but with some subtlety. To put the lashes on I used Duo Lash glue. The lashes were soft and comfortable after the trim. She received many compliments on her makeup as well as her gorgeous lashes.

The lashes were easy to wear, easy to apply, and easy to clean. All you need is a little mild soap. I use my natural hair shampoo by Giovanni with a warm cup of water. Let it sit for a few minutes peel off the glue and gunk and let them dry.

Final Analysis:

All in all the lashes wore well, were soft, and the price is reasonable. For a pair of mink lashes, they'll set you back $35 to $45. Depending on the lashes. However, you're investing in multiple wears. Wear as you spend $3 on a pair of Ardell's you may only get 1wear out of them. These mink lashes are meant to last months with proper care. So I say....👍 yes they are worth the price. Go get yourself a pair, invest in your beauty!
