Hello Mishpokha, Friends and Readers. I want to apologize for my absence. So much has happened since I last blogged. I want you to know I have missed the fellowship of bloggy land, and though I have been absent, I have thought of different ones, often, and prayed as you have come to mind =)

I hope you will do the same for me. Our family has entered a new season in life, and maybe one day, I will be able to share. Until then, please know, I will be around as often as I can... allow me a little grace, and again, please, do pray for us, for me, often. Todah Rabah, thank you very much, friends...

Now, on to a few thoughts from my heart...

"חָֽגְרָ֣ה בְעֹ֣וז מָתְנֶ֑יהָ וַ֝תְּאַמֵּ֗ץ זְרֹעֹותֶֽיהָ" She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. ~Mishle/ Proverbs 31:17

Oh my Elohim, let me dive into the tasks I have before me. I want to face my responsibilities with great strength and effort. Not for the sake of boasting, but for the sake of glorifying Your Name... When I honor You with the labor of my hands and mind, I know it strengthens me spiritually. Everything is connected to what is good and right.

Lead me in the path you have set before me... lead me in the physical way, as You lead me in the spiritual way... Lead me in the way that is important to You, and guide me away from fruitless efforts. I want my life to be a pleasing sacrifice unto You. I want my "work" to be that which You have "planned", that which leads to life and a future... I want to be pleasing to You. Help me to set about this "work" vigorously, strengthen my arms that they may indeed be strong for the task You have set before me...

May it be so for all those who love You... Amein.

Perfect my Humble Love walk

Leaven, leaven, LEAVEN...

What is it? Why do we strive to get it out of our homes? What is the deeper meaning?

As instructed in the Torah, we have done our best to remove the "leaven" from our physical homes, but why? What are we to learn from this physical demonstration? How does it apply to our spiritual walk?

Baruk HaShem, Yahweh... You are so very good to us. Thank you for helping me to understand a little more. In Your Great Compassion, please, continue to teach me.

What does the leaven represent?

“The fear of is to hate evil. I have hated pride and arrogance, And the evil way, And the perverse mouth. ~Mishle/ Proverbs 8:13

As we enter into the Pesach week,
It is Your Face, Abba, that I seek.
I've done my best to rid this place,
Now I look to You, for Your Amazing Grace...

If I have overlooked even one tiny morsel,
unaware of where it fell,
Please, grant me Your enduring Mercy...
May it not be counted against me.

As I searched each and every nook,
It was my heart, You reminded me to look.
Ridding my home of the leaven,
Physically following the Mandate of Heaven.

Yet, the lesson is so much more...
Teach me Abba, the Truth at core.
The Spiritual application to a physical act...
In Your Great Compassion, forgive my lack.

I have lived my life, in the way of pride.
In each step, with every stride...
Rid my life, of my "own" way,
That which leads to death and decay.

Feasting upon the Unleavened Bread,
Casting away all that is dead.
Deliverance belongs to You, my Elohim...
Lead me forever, by the Living Stream.

Help me to lay down all that opposes You,
in all I say, in all I do...
My Redeemer, My only Hope...
Bound to You, with True Love's rope...

And if You tarry, I shall wait...
Continue Abba to rid my life of hate.
That which wars against You...
Please, grant to me Your mercy and Your grace too.

It is Your Face, I long to see...
May my life be,
All You want from me, and for me.

Oh Yerushalayim...

Early in the week, it was discovered that a State Department communication posted online had identified "Jerusalem" and "Israel" as separate Middle East entities. Following that revelation, the State Department quickly altered the communique to list only cities and not countries.

In response to yesterday's press briefing, I post this post...

The Obama Administration's position on Yerushaliyim took center stage yesterday, when a State Department spokeswoman refused during a press briefing to accept that the city, even the non-contested and Jewish dominated western half, is the capital of Yisra'el.

Yesterday's weekly press briefing, made it clear once again, the position of America's leadership on the issue. A reporter asked State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland to comment on the issue, to which she replied,

"Our policy with regard to Jerusalem is that it has to be solved through negotiations. We are not going to prejudge the outcome of those negotiations, including the final status of Jerusalem. ...That's all I have to say...”

But the reporter in question was not satisfied, and pressed Nuland, stating,

"That seems to suggest that you do not regard Jerusalem as the capital of Israel."

Nuland still was not budging, so the reporter tried to "give her an out" by asking,

"Is it your position that all of Jerusalem is a final-status issue, or do you think -- it is just East Jerusalem?"

Nuland still refused to acknowledge that even the western side of Jerusalem, which has been under Israeli sovereignty since 1948, is the legitimate seat of Israel's government.

The news is nothing new to most of you. However, I wanted to take a moment and let my voice be heard!

I will pray. Yes, I will pray for you Mr. President. I pray, because of my love for my Elohim... do not mistake that as support for you, or your administration. I will ask the Sovereign of all sovereigns to please, forgive the sins of my ancestors, and the men who govern the land I now live in. I will myself, be humble and turn from my own evil ways, that Abba may hear from heaven, and heal our Land, Yisra'el... and to you who defend the Land both politically, and physically, I say CHAZAK, CHAZAK! Be strong, be strengthened... Overcome WITH Yah!

Now, may I just say to you, Mr. President, I DO NOT stand with you! Nor will I ever support the division of Yerushalayim! Your failure to recognize Jerusalem as the capitol has no bearing on the unchanging Word of our Great Elohim! The very voice that you use to declare such foolish thoughts, was given you by the very One who fashioned EVERYTHING, including you! The Eternal is not contained by those who oppose all that is good, by those who oppose the Almighty Himself! What place does mere humanity have in dividing the land? Renaming it or granting it to another created being... that right belongs solely to the Creator Himself!

Though my feet are not physically standing in your gates, o Yerushalayim , my heart is with you constantly. May I NEVER forget you! May the Creator's perfect will be done!!!

Am Israel Chai!

Regardless of what the future days hold, we must stand for something. We must draw the line somewhere. We must not be silent. We must use our voices to echo the heart of our Holy Abba.

No conductor in the stand

You are my One and Only Hope,
Not only me, but all Yisra'el,
Shema, Shema, I hear You say...

In Your great compassion, turn again Your Face,
Granting us light to run the race...
All we need, a steady pace.

Quiet us now, with Your love...
as we look to You, no other above...

Gracious and Good, there is none like You...
Rejoice with singing, over Your people, as only You can do.

In the Land of the Living

Faith in the rightness of all that Elohim says, does and allows... if that is my faith, if that is my core, then how or why should I EVER think of His Sovereignty as tyranny or imagine that He ever could or would will ANYTHING except what is right. I can not allow my mind to wonder into suspicion that the Word of Elohim is incorrect in any matter whatsoever... as if He could EVER err. It may be I have misunderstood, or that I don't have the whole understanding, but it will NEVER mean, ever, that Yah has erred.

Beloved, He never errs in deed or word. His Words are pure, and altogether Kadosh, holy. There is NOT a precept to many or too few, they are like fine gold, {Tehillim/ Psalm 19:10}, pure, precious;, and weighty - not one of them may be neglected...

Every Single WORD of His precious instruction is what it ought to be... May we continue to enter into the true spirit of obedience, which in unshakable in the belief that HE is right....

He has called us to obey... to shema... He has called us to holiness...

It is easy to render to Yah a sort of "other people's obedience", but what about rendering personal obedience, immediate obedience, selfless pure obedience... not the outside of the cup, but inwardly, where the True Judge of all the Earth has an up close and personal view?

"By Your command I stay or go. Your will is my will; Your pleasure is my pleasure; Your law is my LOVE."

Oh, Adonai, grant us, Your people a heart to turn back to You. Oh Abba, in Your Great Mercy and Love, grant to us the courage to choose that which is right. Protect us from the evil inclination that tries to internally lead astray, and protect us from the evil company, that knowingly or unknowingly wants to lead us astray. Grant to us a measure of faith that lives Your right ruling, trusts in the justness of Your commands, and willingly accepts personal obligation to obey Your righteous instructions, having complete faith that Your commands is the final authority in our lives, that we may once again be a people, set-apart without blame before You, in love.

Let us again, walk before Him in the land of the living. {Tehillim/ Psalm 116:9}

Has He not delivered our souls from death, our eyes from tears, and our feet from stumbling?

Merciful Father, forgive me. Forgive the sins of my people, Yisra'el. Forgive the sins of this foreign land I dwell in, until it is time to go home... Please, grant to us the ability to daily, hourly, minute by minute, rendering believing obedience to You, the Most High!

We have sinned, we have done perversely, against You alone have we done evil in Your sight. Forgive us, soften our hearts to accept willingly all You command. Forgive us Abba, and heal our land...

And graciously grant to us the ability to continue to grow evermore the faith of our Father, Avraham, who, by faithful obedience, obeyed...

We have no HOPE buy You... save Your people... for You are our Deliverance!

Shalom beloved, shalom...
