what to do? what to do...

2013-05-15T19:24:00.002-07:00

Hey,

So today me and Maggie had a day off. So we wanted to do something. First we went to Camden, Maggie wanted to buy some piercings. We also found a place where they sell awesome posters. Next time we gonna buy them. They will look amazing on the wall. Then we found a nice pub where we bought a jug of Pimms each (Big cocktails for big girls haha). They were sooo nice. Our final stop had to be Mothers in Shoredich. We went there but it was not busy enough, so we left and tried some other places. Unfortunately, nothing was good enough for us today. So we just came back home and watched a film. Even though, we didn't do much today, I pretty enjoyed it. Sometimes just escaping from your routine and just going to the other side of London is fun. I will put some pics from today ( we took some before we left). That's it for now. Latters xx

So cute:)

I will find some activity anywhere haha

Rock n' roll

Hmm, so yes I'm finally done with my exams. I am really happy even if I don't know if I passed them or not. Anyway, I can still have a break from studying till 4am and then sleeping a few hours... and then over and over again. I can have some self time now and just start enjoying the summer! Which is great when you know what you want to do. Now this is a tricky part because I have no clue how I want to spend my summer. I know that it sounds a bit boring but that's how I feel right now. Maybe it's because my brain is just drained and tired of constantly thinking and it still might be overloaded with irrelevant information. But actually, I don't need to know what I want to do this summer. I can just relax and do whatever comes up. Yes, that's what I'm gonna do. Live, laugh and enjoy the moment. Sounds like a good plan for me. And for now , I will call it a night. Latters x

Just some random selfie

Its been a while..

2013-01-08T16:32:00.003-08:00

Well, well , well... just look who is back. Yeah, I am here again. Which is pretty weird. I have not written a blog for ages, man. Do I have a lot to say? I don't know. I guess so. Its been a long summer and autumn.. Happened a lot of stuff. I don't even now where to start. Well, lets begin from where I have left. So in May I have started to work in a bar. I am still in there and I quite enjoy it. During past few months I passed cocktail , price, multi-serve and free-pour tests. So now I am free from any kind of tests. Which is cool cause I have to do a lot of stuff for Uni. Yeah I am in second year now. Its pretty damn hard. During Christmas time I was working a lot, so I was not able to study at all. But now, when its quiet I have more free time. Well, more free time to study... I cannot go out as much as I did during summer. Summer time was amazing. Went out a lot, met awesome people and ,u know, just had wicked time. What else ... uhmm, yeah, I moved to other place. Like 3 months ago, I think. I tried to decorate it a bit, but I still need to do a lot. I am quite proud of myself cause today I have done a lot. I cleaned my room and decorated a bit. Probably I will put some pics here of my room later on.
So, I think that's pretty much it. Oh, wait , nooo. I forgot to mention that I have dyed my hair.. Well, the ends.. Which colour? BLUE!!! yup. Cosmic blue, to be precise. its pretty dark blue, but in couple of washes it will be much lighter. ( I HOPE) .
That's it for now, guys.

It doesn't mean that I love myself, its just that I found some old pics and thought it will look nice.

Everyone has this kind of wall. I call it wall of memories. But of course I will stick more pics later

My bonsai tree, couple of bottles and yes, Fifty Shades of Grey..

Some Banksy canvas

and here it is, blue hair .

Have a great evening x

My first but hope not the last...tattoo!

2012-05-23T14:34:00.002-07:00

Yup, finally I have a tattoo.. I am so happy I did one cause I really wanted it for ages.

At first I wanted tattoo in different place but it was in too visible place. I do not mind that but my parents did not let me do it so I chose different place and I am happy with my choice.

I did not know in which tattoo salon to go but I knew that in Camden Town there are loads of places where you can make a tattoo. So today I just randomly went to one place which looked interesting. The place is called BLACK ANGEL. I am happy with my choice and a tattoo artist was really professional and nice. It took about 20mins and it did not hurt at all!!!! So once again I do not regret about that ( but we will see how I fell when it heels haha).

So take a look at my tattoo..

Just few minutes after

The Tattoo Salon

So if you are really thinking about getting a tattoo- go for it.

How much we can do in 24 hours? Sometimes we do lots but sometimes you just waste your day doing nothing. I know that when people have more stuff to do they also do more then those who have loads of free time. When I had my uni homework and I also had to work so it was really hard times. Yet I submitted my all stuff on time ( most of them hehe ). So I can say that less time you have more stuff you do. Now, I finished uni and I feel that I have a lot of free time but I still have some essential things to do. Like, cleaning my room or washing dishes.. haha. So this is a problem now, cause I avoid those things. I just chill... Practically do nothing. Watching films, chatting or eating hehe. Therefore, I am thinking what to do with myself? How should I push myself to do things I need to?

In a meantime, while I am going to figure out what to do please suggest me any good ideas how to plan my time..

Hey,

to begin with I had my b-day on Thursday and I celebrated it on Tuesday. I had a lot of fun. First, we went to eat and have few drinks. Afterwards, went to Whisky Mist with Ace of Clubs promotion team. There we had table with drinks. During the night they brought shots, b-day cake and more. Also, my friends put the tiara on me so I really felt like a princess haha. Here are few pics from my day..

Cause my friend from Milan lives now in London I thought that I need to go out with him. So next day I did not just stay at home but I went out with him and his friends. We went to KOKO where was a concert. Afterwards we went to The Box where I have not been before and it was completely different experience.

So I really enjoyed my b-day party and the next day partying haha.

KOKO was packed

But I found really nice thing. At LUSH there is this amazing lip scrub. You just need to scrub your lips and then lick it off. Its so yumi and it makes your lips look nice..

I am coming home...

2012-03-17T11:20:00.000-07:00

Yes, I have been very lazy these days. Also, I had no time for writing blog and yeah, I had nothing to say. All this time I was either writing essays, reports and etc. or working. Also, when I wanted to escape from routine I watched Prison Breaks, Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives and Vampire Diaries. Yup, I love TV dramas. Sometimes I do feel that I need something new, different so I just go to buy new clothes.. Girls should understand that shopping helps to improve your mood haha. But even though I tried hard to make myself happier , nothing helped me except the fact that I am going back home!!! YEAH, this is the greatest thing in my life now. On April 1st I am going back home for two weeks! I will escape from Uni, work and yeah- TV dramas. I miss my family, friends, my cats, and my room. These days the only thing I am thinking about is how I am going to meet everyone.
So, guys, I am coming home!!!! See you soon!

2012-02-09T07:21:00.000-08:00

Yes!!! I finally have a charm bracelet!!! I gifted it to myself haha. I love charm bracelets and now I have one! Also, my friends, it will be easy for you to choose a gift for me ( I will show you which beads I like the most) haha.

Yummy

2012-01-09T11:33:00.000-08:00

I usually don't cook or make food. I am quite lazy in that. But today was different. I made rice and crab sticks salads. It is not hard to make it, but the taste is just great.

Ingredients:

1 cup of rice

About 10 crab sticks

Half of cucumber

1 small can of corns

Mayo

Peppers and salt

(If you like eggs, you may include them as well)

How to make it, step-by-step:

First, boil the rice. In a meantime, cut crab stick and cucumber into small pieces.

When the rice are ready wait a bit while they will cool down. Then, mix the rice, crab sticks and corn. Add pepper and salt. Finally, mix everything with mayonnaise. You may add dill if you think its needed. And that's it. ENJOY!

Here is a pic of my salads. (Sorry for bad quality)

Would I fit into my grandmothers dress?

2012-01-08T14:08:00.000-08:00

Last night I started to think about the history of fashion. I am

not a big fashion follower but sometimes I am curious about the latest fashion trends. I will take a look into fashion history. And I think that good way doing this is looking throughout magazines. So I found the first fashion magazine ever- Mercure Galant. It was found by the writer Jean Donneau de Vise in 1672 at France. The magazine featured daily news, humour, songs and fashion reviews.

The first magazine cover.

Women dresses are quiet nice, elegant and simple.

After 16 years, at 1693, the first specialised magazine for woman appeared in London. It was called ''Ladies mercury''.

So at the early 18th century Europe started publishing more magazines. ''Journal des Luxus un des Moden'' 1786-1827 published by Germans. It is one of the magazines which provided a lot fashion news, latest clothing trends and etc.

A massive hat and pink dress with polska dots.

Hats were very fashionable at that time.

Further on, British magazines "The Lady's Magazine" and "Gallery of Fashion" appeared in 1770. These mags were popular because they wrote not only about fashion but also included short stories, poems and all sort of advices.

I think that will be enough about very past fashion, cause my main goal is to speak about 20th century fashion.

This blog's title is 'Would I fit into my grandmothers dress?', so I am considered about the time of world war 2 till 1970s.

Even though the world experienced the second world war, the fashion was still important.

1940s

At this time ladies skirts were straight and blouses simple.

Add caption

Well, swimsuits are a bit weird for me.But body shapes looks really nice.

This handbag and shoes look gorgeous!

What about 1950s?

1950s fashions emphasized femininity.

Small hats with a veil or feather and long-pencil skirts.

I think now we have same type of shoes as in 1950s.

Cute polka dot swimwear.

1950s clothing looks really trendy. Lets take a look at 1960s.

High waisted short shorts.

Small leather handbags.

3/4 length sleeves coat and a lovely sleeveless pencil dress with polka dots.

And here some examples of 1970s.

Floral and bright colour dresses.

Those kind of coats look very similar from what we do wear now.

So my question was 'would I fit into my grandmothers dress'? I think I would. Throughout all looks I put up here, many of them look really nice and I think I could wear them now.

Here is some 60s and 70s inspired fashion trends.

Ordinary day

2012-01-07T18:14:00.000-08:00

I wish I could have more days like today. Even though I slept 5 hours and I looked terrible I still enjoyed my day. Why? First of all, the weather was fantastic. It is one of the things that makes me feel happier. Quite sunny, not windy day- what else I can ask for? :) Secondly, my friend was able to meet me. Thirdly, I had good coffee. Simple as that. So the main thing I will talk about will be- ' how simple day can bring you special moments?'.

I believe that everybody should be happy with what they have and if they lack of something you should try to reach it. Who agrees? I think, I have almost everything in my life. Well, I am satisfied with what I have. Or more accurate- I should be happy with what I have. To begin, I have the cutest room ever!!!! I have never had better room in my life. And the fact that I pay for this room makes me feel even better. I feel like I earned to live in this place. There is another good thing here. My landlady has a cat. YEEE! I love cats! I have two cats back home and I miss them sooo much. So the fact I live with a beautiful cat makes me feel awesome! Soft and cuddly pet walking around the house is adorable. So I think I am lucky that I live in such a place cause my landlady is nice as well. Good to feel like home:) Further, my family is happy. They know I am good and it helps them to sleep better. They are happy that I am happy, I do have a job and I study. So I think its time to speak about my education. Well, I am doing Psychology degree. And I love it :) It is hard to study but at the same time it is so interesting. That's why finding answers is not such a hard job for me.More about my degree I will speak in later blogs. Cause it is not the main point of this post now.So, I have spoken about my room, cat, landlady, family and studies. What's missing? Hm, maybe the people around me. Well, I am glad I have met a lot of people here, and with some of them I have really good relationships. My work colleges are nice and fun, always friendly and helpful. My managers are great and I am not telling that because they might read this. Its just true, cause they treat everybody equal. You can speak with them in a way you speak with friends, of course with a respect:). Further, my uni friends are nice. I have few girls which I spend most of the time. Its good to discuss and share ideas with different people. Often you may get really good advices and help as well :). And finally there are friends which came here with me. For the same reason and mostly for the same goals. We went through more or less whit the same problems and tried to support each other. I think the word Friend stands for all this kind of position. So, to conclude, I believe people around me are quite nice and friendly, glad to have them around me, well at least for now. What else? I think that I should tell something about my appearance. I am not completely satisfied about my look. But which woman is 100% happy? I guess, you can find only few examples. So I am cool about my look, but there are things that I would like to change. Those changes are in my plans:) No plastic surgery's or smth, just plans to do sports and start to eat healthier food. But its in my future plans. Maybe in near future.

I think I said enough about my life. So to conclude, I woke up this morning very tired. But I start to think all those things and I realised that I am quite happy person. Then I got up and I had a nice coffee. Which helped me to wake up and start getting ready.

Ordinary day- happy moments. Hope to have more like that.
