I miss Hawaii. I miss the beautiful beaches, the flowers in my hair, the wonderful sunsets, the walks along the beach, the friendliness of the people (the Aloha spirit), and my friends. I hope to go back there with my family or maybe just my husband and I for a romantic Hawaii vacation.

My husband and I love movies but we are busy parents so we really do not have that much time to go out and watch movies in the theater. One night, we purchased a pay-per-view movie for our date at home but it was expensive. So we decided that we can only do it maybe once a month or less. I am not crazy about pay-per-view movies at all but at least there is an option when lazy time comes.

I did not know until now that with Charter Digital, you have free access to Charter On Demand. There are thousands of movies and shows available to watch whenever you want at a touch of a button. It is such a good idea to have the On Demand especially during wintertime. When it is snowy and slick it is not ideal to drive all the way to the video store just for a movie or two. Wouldn't it be nice to just stay inside, have a cup of coffee and watch a great movie when you are ready?

My sister-in-law gets movie through mail and they can only rent two movies at a time. They also have to wait for at least two days to get the movies in the mail. With On Demand, the service is just right there in your fingertips.

On Demand also has hundreds of HD shows available. I love watching shows in HD. I enjoy the clear pictures and bright colors in my big screen TV.

I sometimes hear my co-workers giggling and laughing while I work in my own cube. I really do not care as long as they do not distract me that much. One day, their laughs got really loud and contagious so I went ahead and asked them what was going on. They said, "Do you really want to know?” I said, "Yeah, I want to know what you guys are laughing about". My co-worker Ashley said, "I will send you the link".

I was curious and checked my email right away. I clicked that link that she sent and then it was all history. I started laughing and giggling. I could not focus with my work. Do you want to know what link that was? CLICK HERE if you want to know.

Magicjack is the best product I have ever used to call my family in the Philippines. It is also affordable plus the quality is really good . I only pay $19.95 a year and that is it. I don't buy phone cards every month anymore which was a little bit pricey.
If you are still buying phone cards or use Vonage which I think is $24 something a month, I would say stop it and use Magicjack. You will save a lot of money.

I just had a new baby and going back into pre-pregnancy weight is a lot harder than I thought. I am working as a full time employee, a full time mother and wife. I don't have enough time to work out or walk outside.

I have two problems: a stubborn belly fat and chocolates. I know. Chocolates are always there because my husband likes to buy them for me. What should I do?

A Need To Be Healthy

I am so busy with my life that I sometimes forget to eat healthy foods. Junk foods are comfort foods and easy to grab. They taste so good and fill me up before I can eat the healthy stuff. This is not a good practice at all. First of all, it makes me gain weight. Second, it is not good for my body. Third, I am breastfeeding and I am giving my baby the bad stuff. I know I need to stop soon.

The most tempting junk food that I have access all the time is the Hershey's chocolates. They are so yummy. As you all know, most women like chocolate. I am one of those. I have them all the time because my husband spoils me. He brings them home because he knows I like them. The second junk food that I crave sometimes is the potato junk chips. Who does not like potato chips? I am thinking about chips right now and I can almost taste it. Yeah, I know I want them again.

I found this health blog recently and it is a good read. You must check it sometime. If you are searching for some articles about good health like me, this is a good blog for that. It is very informative. It has a post about Chewing Gum for Stress Relief - very true.

An Experiment on Obama's Plan

Just reading at Craigslist and found this story. Let me know what you think about it.

"An economics Professor at a college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The Professor then said "OK we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan"

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.

The students who studied hard were upset and the one's who studied little was happy.

As the 2nd test came around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. That test average was a D! No one was happy!

When the 3rd test came around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the Professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when the Government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. "

My Taste and Italy

My co-worker will have a big trip this November. He and his family will be visiting Egypt, Spain and Italy. I am so jealous. I asked him if I could go with them and he just laughed. He knew that I was just joking and I know that I can not afford to go. That will be a big hole from my pocket. Someday, I might be able to afford it. I would really love to visit Italy especially in the Rome area. With it's long history, old buildings, and the richness of art, it will be worth the money.

How To Clean A Baby Girl's Genital Area?

I am not posting this to give an advice. I am the one who is asking the question. I am afraid to irritate my baby's genital area. Sometimes I think I overdo it. Sometimes I get too busy that I think I leave her area dirty. How much is too much cleaning?

As you can see, my first baby is a boy and boys are easy to clean down there. Girls are different and I am still learning about cleaning the genital part gently. Haaayyy...it is one of those things that I need to study and learn. Good thing there is a place called Google.
