So, we got married on this gorgeous farm next to the river....

The best man and maid of honor. This picture makes me smile.

My gosh, our first dance was so awkward...

It was the first time I had ever danced with anyone, and we didn't practice beforehand.

Everyone thought it was so precious though. haha

We chose Samson by Regina Spektor. We can't listen to it and not cry.

I don't think that will ever change.

My sweet girls. I love them all so much.

I am just in love with these pictures..

Recent Life

2011-07-17T06:27:00.000-07:00

It's getting close! Only seven weeks until the wedding!

Yikes. We have been so busy lately between getting ready for the wedding

and putting the house together.. Thankfully we're almost there.

The house is looking so lovely. I can't wait to post pictures of it soon.

This is my friend Emily in our cute little back yard.

Even the backyard is the most precious thing to me.

So, in other news.

Hunter and I are planning a trip to Portland after the wedding. We are beyond excited.

If you know of anything we have to do while we are there please let us know!

It was nice talking to you. We'll do it again soon.

Just for you ♥

This is my life right now.

2011-04-06T13:42:00.000-07:00

I have the biggest crush on her right now.

Five Months.

2011-04-02T19:34:00.000-07:00

I have a recent obsession with old bird cages. Like, I'm really in love with them.

I have been looking for one for the house, because I would also love very much to get two tiny finches. I would name her/him daffodil and samson.

When Hunter was younger he wanted to be an ornithologist. Is that not adorable?

XO. H.

Decor Crush.

2011-04-01T21:01:00.000-07:00

I have discovered that I, as well as Hunter, have very eclectic taste. We love mixing soft and dainty with rough and textured pieces. And we love practically everything that is old. We are old souls. My mom has always told me I was born in the wrong decade.

I am in love with wallpaper patterns like these. If I could find the right pattern, I would love to do something similar in our dining room. I think it would be stunning.

Pretty kitchen. Swoon.

I am a fan of cluttered walls.

That is it for tonight. Just wanted to share some of my inspirations.

XO. H.

April, you are such a Fool.

2011-04-01T20:19:00.000-07:00

I am terrible at this whole blogging thing. Life is crazy, you know.

So much has happened in the past few months. We have some big news to share. Hunter and I just bought a house! We are so excited. She is our baby and we are ever so proud of her.

She is a precious purple-ly brown mouse house nestled in the middle of an Edward Scissorhand's neighborhood. We love it so much and cannot wait to move in.

We have spent the past month cleaning and painting. It's totally our dream house. I will for sure update with more pictures soon of the inside and the few pieces of furniture that we have so far.

We are having so much fun planning out our rooms and decor and exactly how we want everything to look and feel. We are so happy. Our lives together are so blessed.

I am sorry for saying the same thing over in different ways.

I have so many things to say, but I feel I need to separate them into multiple posts. Hopefully this will spur more frequent blogging.

Happy foolish day.
XO.

Blah blah blah I never blog.

2011-03-07T16:14:00.000-08:00

I am a terrible blogger, I am surprised we have any followers at all.

It has been raining on and off for the past three or four days. Kind of sulky outside today, although it hasn't rained. I feel like spring is right around the corner. We keep getting pretty glimpses of it.

I had my first experience trying on wedding dresses on saturday. That was really fun. I fell in love with a gorgeous dress.. only to discover it was 6500 dollars... on sale. Sigh. I just cannot afford that.

I will post some of my dress crushes soon. I'll also update you on all of our plans thus far. We've actually started to get some things accomplished!

So this is a pasta that I made last week for my dad and Hunter. It is so yummy, I just wanted to share.

Oh, it is a Rachel Ray recipe, I might like to add.

It is so darn good.

I made crunchy cajun roasted green beans and nutty whole grain garlic bread to go along with it.

Happy Monday.

XO. H.

Thank the Lord it is Friday.

2011-02-18T18:47:00.000-08:00

Hey friends. I did a sweet mini shoot with my pal Lane yesterday. It was the prettiest day.

If you would like to see the rest, you can do so by clicking here.

Life has been so crazy lately. The wedding planning is coming along nicely, although we still have so much to do. I have never been much of a party person, so this is a huge stretch for me. I hate being the center of attention. I'm the most awkward girl.

Anyways, I will keep you all up to date with the planning and all of that good fun stuff. Hopefully we will be talking more frequently from here on out. I would really like to blog more and facebook less. Facebook is such a time waster.

XO. H.
