Samsung UN46C530 has excellent black level, However, television has a problem with detail in the shadows, great contrast ratio but sometime it has problems in maintaining consistent black and peak white. The Samsung LNC530 did not have a great greyscale gamma performance.
Film Mode on Menu Setting such as Auto1, Auto2, and Off; We see that the performance did not differ between them.And it will not affect to the setup tv, if you do not disable it.

Video processing : We have been impressed with video processing. Samsung offer many picture setting such as 10 points Fine Color, Fine dejudder control. Although, it does not have local dimming.But it's not a big problem.
Color Accuracy : There may be weakness on the middle black and dark screen, it still tinged blue.
Bright lighting : Although the Samsung UN40D6400 TV has an advantage on black level but it still has problems with the bright-room. This may be because the screen varnish.

Internet Feature : Samsung UN40D6400 included app and streaming service into Smart Hub. Unfortunately, doesn’t have Amazon Instant and Web browser. The Smart Hub is the home page for all of applications store and streaming services, it nice designed menu and interface.

Over All
Samsung's UND6400 might be more expensive. But when testing, I found that it is the best 3D TV than Samsung UNC8000 or the other brand at time. It has strength black level, video processing, a lot of feature. I don’t like : It can't read music files from iPods,he actual contents of these categories are poorly conceived 'multimedia' that belong on cheap cell phones, not a $3000+ TV.The overall interface with the Internet@TV is painfully, cruelly, and intolerably slow.

Summary : Best performer, And considering the equally high-performing Sony KDL-52XBR9, good design,Network setup and software upgrade is easy.excellent video quality especially with Blu-ray movies that I've ever seen.

The Samsung UN46B6500 series is a sliver design, coming size at 1.6 inch.It’s very very thin.The front panel will still look smart impressive. The stand has a brushed metal surface and gives every indication that it can effectively support the weight of the TV.

The back of the Samsung UN46B8500 is large and flat.On one side, you'll see the power cord sticking out.the power cord cannot be removed from the unit. On the other side is an L-shaped array of ports. To keep the profile smooth and flat.The remote control is almost perfect. Unfortunately, it's marred by the poorly designed scroll wheel in the center.We liked the dedicated "Tools" key that offers quick access to the E-manual, picture, and sound modes, the sleep timer, and the picture-in-picture controls. We didn't like the remote's glossy black finish.

Now that the 240Hz entry into force on the LCDs prospect, we suppose the Samsung LN52B750 LCD to meet this overspread. This entire society exceeds the LCD with LED edge-lit based LCD in most areas, inclusive the black level performance and consistency of image and produces a better picture than any LCD we've tested, except for LED-backlit model from last year with local dimming.It is certainly not perfect, however, and plasma displays even better or overstep this LCD in overall picture quality. Series in LNB750 : We conducted a practical assessment of 52-inch Samsung LN52B750 ($ 2,899 list), but this review applies to LN46B750 Samsung 46-inch ($ 2,399) and 40-inch Samsung LN40B750 ($ 1,999). Common to all three dimensions similar identical features and specifications.

Design

The LN52B750 LCD staining attract less attention than many other members of Touch of Color by Samsung. Design

Performance

Setup the LNB650 for the first time we chosen the film preset which came closest to our ideal for home cinema in a dark room. Our calibration reduced production of light just to hit our goal 40ftl, increasing the adjustment range to bring out shadow detail and more closely approach our target on 2.2(We have met with an excellent 2.24), and changes in levels of gray. The grayscale adjustment has not been as effective as we would like to see - although the scale varies slightly, especially in dark areas but otherwise the Samsung range of adjustments that work.

Black level: The depth of black delivered by LNB650 was relatively good, but not in the best LCDs we've tested this year. In dark scenes in Chapter 6, for example, when Eastwood's going after the intruder in his garage during the night, areas as lettboxes and black shadows in the room were almost as dark as the Sony screen, but not as deep as the JVC, Samsung LNB750, or a plasma. when he confronts the intruder with his gun, we could make out suitable detail in shadows adjusted down his face and hands, but these areas do not seem as natural as the Sony KDL-V5100, and the LNB750, or the two plasmas, although were a little better on Sony Bravia KDL-XBR9 and JVC.

Color accuracy: In bright scenes the Samsung LNB650 series comes a solid color accuracy, largely thanks to its nearly perfect primary and secondary colors including spot on color decoding. Video processing: Like other 2009 series of Samsung LCDs the LNB650 processing capabilities dejudder controlled with a custom mode that reduces the smoothing effect while preserving the properties antiblurring refresh rate of 120Hz. We obtained the best results by turning 10 in blur reduction and Judder to zeroing. This approach retains the original frame rate of film, when we saw on 1080p/24 - visible juddery but not hitch of the camera short on the Eastwood’s porch in Chapter 8, which follows in the children run the corner in Chapter 9 - but not artificially smooth or remove these juddery in the movie.With dejudder turned off, or reduction control of vibration reduced to zero in custom mode, the LNB650 also maintained correctly all the films during the bridge of the Intrepid "I Am Legend."

Uniformity: The uniformity LNB650 made relatively strong across the screen comparison with other series. The sides and corners are a little brighter than the center, but there was no evidence of bright spots as we have seen on Sony Bravia KDL-XBR9. From the perspective of all washed at about the same pace of the other screens, even if the color blue slipped in the reversed side more appreciably when saw from one side or of the other.

Bright lighting: Samsung has used the same type of glossy screen as last year, and even found on the LNB750 series, and we're still fans. In lighting room, with windows facing the screen and the overhead lights turn-on, the screen does a good job of preserving black levels in dark areas.However, the compromise is too bright reflections from light sources and other bright objects in the room, like the shirt of this review. These thoughts have been much less discomfort during bright scenes, of course, but the darker scenes have proved a distraction.

Standard Definition: The LNB650 has done an excellent job with standard definition sources, starting with the ability to resolve every line of the DVD format and provide clear details in the grass and stone bridge of our sample. It was the best game of our range to remove jaggies.Noise reduction has also been solid, although the car was less effective than the simple choice between the three manual settings. Samsung has also undertaken 2:3 pull-down properly when we have selected one of the automatic settings of the film.

Samsung has officially withdrawn from the reserve, buttoned black bezel look this year, and UNC8000 series is a shining example. HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and it is a fairly accurate description of what it is. In simpleman terms, HDMI is a digital connection that can transmit high-definition video and high-resolution audio over a single cable. To do the same thing with analog cables, you'll need to connect three component-video cables and six analog audio cables - that's a whole series of tangled cables. The HDMI can deliver the best image quality of any type of cable available today. It can handle high-definition video up to 1080p resolution at 60 frs, which is the video format more bandwidth available. The old PC DVI connection offers equivalent quality, but it is rarely available on HDTVs or video components these days. Component video is found on nearly all electronics goods that output high-definition video, and image quality is slightly lower than HDMI, but it is really difficult for most people to understand the difference. Many viewers are probably familiar with the quality associated with the various standard-definition video cables--namely S-Video, composite (the yellow video cable), and RF--and HDMI provides a potentially huge improvement over all of them. As always, however, the biggest factor in video quality is the source; a low-quality source delivered over HDMI will still look worse than a high-quality source over S-Video.
For audio, HDMI is the reigning king of quality as well. It supports the ability to carry eight channels of audio at 24-bit 192kHz - enough to handle even the highest resolution audio tracks like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Introduce

Samsung, it seems, goes LED in a big way. Thirteen of his sets on the screen 6, 7 and 8 series LED backlight instead of CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lights), which until recently were almost universal flat-panel LCD HDTV. The technique is called local dimming. Not all LED backlighting are local dimmers, but two of the new Samsung. At the top of the line is 55-inch UN55B8500.
Samsung was the first company in the market local-dimming LED models. We reviewed the first generation (LN-T5281F l ') in April 2008 and the second generation (LN55A950) in November 2008 and again in a four Set-Face Off in February 2009. On each occasion, these sets made a deep impression on us, with black levels that we never thought possible in a LCD screen design. The opportunity to spend quality time with the third generation, which includes all the refinements of the technology in Samsung's flagship series today was a breeze.

Local Dimming

Only the LCD screens do not produce light, why all the series of LCDs require backlighting behind the LCD panel. The individual pixels in the LCD panel simply act as gateways, either pass or block light from the backlight illumination as the source of images requires. But the LCD's ability to block the light is limited. Some of the losses through, even if the image requires total darkness. This is why LCDs traditionally medium black levels and shadow detail.
However, LED backlight with a new wrinkle is possible. Design

Although UN55B8500 may not be so thinness in Samsung stable, 1.6 cm thick, is not far away. There is a different button on the remote Samsung 8500 models. The features included RF Clicker capacity, allowing you to work without having to rely on television, or even be in the same room. RF has worked extensively in our testing once we were compare with the TV remote control (a simple step first), and we really appreciated the comfort.
Another major difference is the rotary scroll wheel control, extra that we're not big fans. Although the wheel was better than last year, a half turn or so in most cases to respond first when we select the menus. In combination with the slow widget it was not a user experience that we enjoyed. In addition to the wheel distance is good, with buttons that are large, backlit and easily depending on the size and shape. We liked the dedicated tools key provides quick access to the e-manual, and audio mode, the sleep timer, and PIP controls. We did not like the remote glossy black finish, however, that keep up more than its share of blunting fingerprints after a few minutes. The company also includes a small nearly useless hockey-puck-style remote that only controls the channel, volume and power.

The advanced picture menu offers more settings. Some are useful, while others are avoided. These include dynamic contrast, flesh tone, and Digital NR (you do not need noise reduction with a good source). The UN55B8500 is a 240 Hz, operating at a refresh rate of 240 Hz constant for all sources. If the source is a film based and transferred to 1080p/24, part of Samsung repeats every nine times (10:10 pulldown) to get the frame rate of up to 240 Hz If the receives a source of film other except than 1080p/24-that is,one masteres with 3:2 pulldown, that it recognizes and converts it to 24 Hz (eliminating 3:2), and repeat frames that the rate of 240 Hz refresh. If the source is not a movie based, the whole is repeated if necessary, at a refresh rate of 240 Hz images.
The UN55B8500 also offers frame interpolation, which its calls 240Hz to reduce the real time movement. When the switched on, the whole interpolates add extra frames instead simply repeating, which eliminates motion blur dramatically. Some viewers as a result, others hate what it does to the look of the film, which is smoothed to such an extent that they end up watching movies like soap operas. However, some films that might be appropriate!
Real 240Hz offers four modes. The most intriguing is custom, which has separate controls for reducing Judder (for film-based sources) and blur reduction (for on video-base material). Despite the specific name , each frame interpolation control dials. But they allow you to set up different levels of interpolation for each type of source. When custom is engaged, the difference between a series of films and video source and automatically dials the selected set up , as suitable. If you do not like what it did for the film interpolation in any set up, you can set up to 0 and Blur Judder to perhaps 7 or 8. The set up will switch turned on the frame interpolation for video programming, like sports, but leave it off for movies.

Performance

The Samsung has navigated through all our HD video testing without a hiccup. The Video graphics benchmark standard definition upconversion (all tests are VTB 1080i 1080p, except for the scaling, which is 480p to 1080p), but Samsung has achieved a passing grade on this level too. It only showed a result that borderline 3:2 HD pulldown, and had some difficulties in the original in the DVD letterbox of Titanic- extremely test.
Although many series of LCDs have matte finish screens, Samsung are reflective. Like most LCDs, the picture degrades gradually UN55B8500 as you sit further off axis. But while you picky videophiles, and require dibs on the seat, most viewers will not be disturbed as living within 30 degrees or so from the center. It will cover any place on a sofa that is typically about 10 meters overall.
Before adjustment, black level, the Samsung was impressive in a way that sets the models out of local-dimming. In a dark room, a fade to black in the source program surrounded the room in total complete darkness, as if all had been the set were off. In fact, it is, or at lest the LED lights were. The adjustment raised the black level a bit. Now, I could clearly see the screen in a black cast, although it was very dim, and the black bars on widescreen movies flow were visible when I looked for them. There was also a slight variation in the uniformity of blacks. The pictures are a bit lighter side of the screen toward the center. But these changes were barely visible. They showed that when both the image on screen and the room was very dark.
After reviewing the local-dimming sets that going a bit darker than the Samsung, but the visual impact of the Samsung black level was always first class. In addition, the result has been measured as low as our means reading tests tools. My favorite scenes to test the black level of Spider-Man, Stargate: Continuum, and King Kong (2005) have been convincingly dark, with shadow detail is good and some tracks of dim gray covering that afflicts most ordinary LCDs. Samsung UN55B7000 LCD HDTV are edge-lit LCD models equivalent to local projects glare, as Ms. Samsung proclaimed? Based on the evidence here, not quite. But they are much closer than I expected, and have much to offer greatly less money.

Slim and Smart

Samsung present to the models 7000 series(and many of its new all), such as LED HDTVs, but LED design only to the type of backlight. Technical, the backgrounds are still LCD.

Setup and Control

Samsung contain two different remotes as UN55B7000. A mini remote control, antenna-shaped egg, and turns the set on-off, adjust volume and change channels. But since you can use the selection of channels with the tuner, the remote must be of limited use if you have a satellite or cable viewers (unless you watch unencrypted cable channels with a direct cable feed to the set without cable box).The larger remote is handy buttons enormous size, fully lit, and is one of the best I’ve seen. The Samsung UN55B7000 LCD HDTV has six modes of picture, and they are all separately adjustable for each input. The usual technique for obtaining these setting right requires of a special filter blue, which is not as accurate.

These include a seven-step Gamma adjustment, color space (a system of color management with a comprehensive set of controls for optimizing the color gamut), and white balance controls(high and low for the three colors).

It also has a way of regulable the movie mode and picture-in-picture (PiP). The controls I did not need and do not use colors are black, Dynamic Contrast, Edge Enhancement (FIE, Satan!), Digital noise reduction, and xvYCC. The Samsung has two USB inputs which can be used to display photos, music and video (including HD video), the recorded in a compatible format. While the menus at the Samsung is good, I have some quibbles minor. The most important of these is that the time is too fast, which can be a important problem in trying to calibrate the gray scale and color space. If you do the calibration settings individual menus, for each setting are at the bottom of the screen where you can see, but they are out of the way of the measuring device. But before taking the measure, the time out menus and return to the previous menu full-screen that blocks the instrument.

Edge-lit LED-based LCD

In most LCD sets, the backlight is placed behind the LCD screen with a speaker that provides a relatively uniform illumination across the screen. In the first series with LED backlighting, LED simply replaced by the cold cathode fluorescent more frequent (CCFL) backlight.The LEDs are placed behind the screen in small groups of red, green, blue devices (or white LEDs, with an appropriate approach filters-Samsung) have an advantage over CCFL you can easily dim or turn-off them. Degradation of the image off-axis is a problem with most LCDs, and it is probably the last major weakness of LCD models now that the black levels (the best series) have improved considerably.
