After last years very busy and successful introduction to the show we will be attending again.

Paste and Ink Formulations

Over the past six months Ceimig has been developing precious metal ink and paste formulations to allow ink jet and screen printing options for a range of customers. This includes non-particulate and particulate varieties. Initial trials have shown very promising results and we hope to be able to offer this commercially in the coming weeks. If you are interested in having a specific formulation developed or trialing some of our pre-made formulations then contact us for more details.

Ceimig are delighted to welcome Joy as an MSc student to our facility. As a top grade student having studied forensic chemistry at the University of Strathclyde, she is looking forward to working in a more industrial and commercial setting. As part of her 3 month thesis she will be looking at our new range of PGM graphitic carbons and analysing them using GC-MS to better understand their catalytic properties.

Santander Sponsorship a Success

As part of a Santander scholarship in conjunction with University of St-Andrews, Ceimig was host to a student for two weeks. The student 'Zac' made a very valuable contribution given the short space of time allocated. As part of his remit he helped in the building of a test rig, allowing us to characterize the catalytic performance of our materials in conjunction with GC-MS detection. So successful has been his contribution we have asked him back.

It's Official: Our customers have responded with an overwhelming majority to say that our customer service is of the highest standard. In a recent survey the majority said they were very satisfied in a selection of categories with ZERO respondents saying anything less than satisfied. While that is great news for us, it doesn't mean that we sit back and take a well earned rest. What is does mean is that we will go that extra bit to keep customers happy, whether it is in meeting a production or delivery deadline or altering our process to improve a final product.... and it shows!

Ceimig Hosts RSC School Chemnet Event

A great day was had by two groups of school children going by their feedback when they came to visit on the 30th of June at the Ceimig premises. The higher chemistry students were given a presentation on the uses of precious metal powders in industry and this was followed up by a tour of the working research and development areas of the building. Thanks goes to Dr. Heather Milton who is the Royal Society of Chemistry Education Coordinator for the area and helped organise the day.

Ceimig Limited has been acquired by Ames Goldsmith Corp. Ames Goldsmith look forward to adding the market leading Ceimig products in the Sensor and Fuel Cell markets to their range. Ames Goldsmith also bring many years experience in the precious metals – hence we expect to be able to offer Ceimig’s customers new options around Precious Metals management.

The Ceimig operation will be managed as part of the Ames Goldsmith UK operation.
