Describe as math-rock or experimental/pop, UK based Jonquil is sounding pretty good. There newly released EP "One Hundred Songs" is getting some good reviews. You can find it on iTunes, I highly recommend the song "It Never Rains".

Check out the atmospheric guitar rock of the L.A. based band Warpaint. Last year they signed a worldwide record deal with Rough Trade, a label associated with The Smiths and The Raincoats. On 6 December 2010, the BBC announced that Warpaint had been nominated for the BBC's A Sound of 2011 poll. Previous nominees have included The Drums, Lady Gaga and Vampire Weekend to name a few.

Hailing from Liverpool, this 3 piece band is playing sold out gigs all over England. Check out there myspace page, I recommend listening to "Moving to New York" and "Derail and Crash". Look out for their debut album "'A Guide To Love, Loss And Desperation" available this fall.
