Grades doesn't matter?
What you have learnt that matters? Bullshit!
My personal experience says in India grades, numbers, matter the most.
After all numbers is the criteria on which we judge people.

Aren't we judging Sachin's credibility? He has failed till today to reach his Hundredth ton.
People forgot about what he has achived till date, they are pissed with the fact that he hasn't got the so called century in last eight or nine month.

We are not happy because our Captain cool has failed to win a test series in Australia. Few months ago people who are praising him for his midas touch,now bashing him for his poor performnace.

Ask a sales person who has targets to achieve? he will tell you how the number plays a role in his life.
It doesn't matter how much good client he has won for his company what matters whats the number.

Haven't you ever faced the number drama in your life..........

Weekend Watch - Agneepath

This weekend I watched the most awaited movie of the year 'Agneepath'. Watching movie on a big screen is always fun.

let's talk a little about the movie. Agneepath(2012) is not a copy cat of the old one, that is the most good thing abou the movie.

Sanju baba in the camouflage of Kancha cheena has ruled through out the movie.His dialogue delivery and his appearance were horrific but that he made it special.

Hrithik in the role Of Vijay Chauhan looked promising,don't comapare himn with the original character played By Amitabh jee, it will be injustice to him because he has done a wonderful job.

There was a very little scope for Priyanka Chopra in character of Kali but she played it well.

I can say it is a must watch movie for all.

So here comes another book review of the day. Finally finished 350 pages of love saga by Digvijay Ade. 'As long as you love me and even after that' is the debut novel of Digvijay Ade. Digvijay Ade an engineering graduate from V.J.T.I. Mumbai, currently pursuing his MBA from IIM Lucknow has written his love story.

What so different about the book. Only one thing I have found the minute details of his relationship. I have read a lot of love stories but none of them are like Aditya's saga. Aditya the protagonist of the tory meet an accident in the beginning of book. His friend Sahil a doctor who find him in ransack position in hospital left his job. The beginning of the story is so dramatic, I didn't fell that it's going to be a simple love story of loving a girl, losing her and tryst of getting her back. The book is definitely going to love by love birds.

What can you do for getting your girl back?

Anything you get a reply, if the person loves her more than her life.

can you write a book, if you are not a writer type, you will think hundred times.

Aditya got her best buddy Anchal who is ready to share his pain, his love.

Will Aditya get Esha back, love of his life.

Few years ago, during my engineering(college) days I had picked a book 'Everything You desire' by Harshdeep Jolly.The book was not that entertaining but it gave me an insight of life @ IIM-B. After that I have read almost every second book on campus story. Few months ago I also read another book on MBA life 'The great Indian MBA dream' by Shiva Prakash. The book thrown a light of life @ISB Hyderabad and life after that. Both the book were good but they lacked an essence.

Finally I read Snapshots from hell: the making of an MBA by Peter Robinson. You are thinking whats different about this book. Here it is

So finally I have read a book that answers why life is hell @ B schools. I enjoyed every bit of the book.Hope you will also enjoy. If you are planning to do an MBA or ever thought doing it, you must read it.

Before finishing my post I also want to speak a little about the author of book Peter Robinson.

Peter Mark Robinson (born 1957) is an American author, research fellow, television host and former speechwriter for then-Vice President George H.W. Bush and President Ronald Reagan. He is currently the host of Uncommon Knowledge, an interview show by Stanford's Hoover Institution. He is also a research fellow at the Hoover Institution.

So even you don't wanna do MBA you can read this book, a book which shows HELL exist in this real world. You can find it, if you want too.

I was in class eight at that time, I was scared of mathematics. But something changed and I start loving it. The thing from which I was running away, started attracting me towards it. Math problems which were my biggest nemesis became my favorite time pass.

Whenever I have found something difficult and I feel that it is not a cup of my tea. I remind myself of those days and things change.

What I have learned from my past if you start loving to do something the hardest of thing become easy for you.

So Keep going keep learning.

Book Review : It's First love! By Sachin Garg

Finally finished reading the third book "It's First love! ....Just like the last one" by Sachin Garg. I had very high expectation from 'It's First love!'.But It's little disappointing for me, I have expected something better from Sachin Garg after reading his second book "I am not twenty four". I am not saying that "It's First love! ....Just like the last one"is a bad book to read, the story is smooth but it failed to keep the charm that Sachin had created after his second book. I know this one will also going to be a bestseller very soon. It deserves that.But as a regular reader of books written by Sachin, Durjoy, I was expecting something better than the earlier one. Sachin's "I am not twenty four" is one of the book I adore most. I wish I had written that. Let's peek into the story of It's First love! ....Just like the last one.

The story is about Sachin , Kanika, Arshi, Radhika, Zeeshan & Niel.Sachin is in love with Kanika.Kanika is in love with Niel.Arshi is in love with Sachin.Sachin finds his love in Kanika, Kanika starts loving Sachin.Sachin's guitar friend Zeeshan start liking Kanika and in love with her.Radhika mother of Kanika is a flamboyant personality, Sachin praise and respect her for her success.Arshi lost his mother Radhika and blame herself for her death. At the same time Zeeshan and Niel start hitting on her to accept them as her soul-mate. In all this drama the person who is suffering the most is Sachin.Will confused Kanika find her true love?

You have to read the book to know that.

A perfect filmy drama.That's all the story of 'It's First love! ....Just like the last one'. In some places it's lost the connection but after few page its again picked up pace.

In the end Sachin has mentioned about his fourth book. I hope it will upto his second one.I am still saying 'It's First love! ....Just like the last one' is not a bad choice, my expectations were high!

I was in college when I had started watching this Series. The Vampire Diaries seasons are based on the book written by L.J.Smith.When I had watched the first season, I gave an attempt to read the all books of this series, but failed as i had found that watching the seasons is better than reading the whole story.The story is so captivating that you will find yourself glued to it.I have already watched the first two seasons of the Vampire love Saga. The third season has been recently started and I am looking forward to watch all the episodes.What I felt that the seasons are much better than the book and I am in love with this show.If you are really interested in reading Vampire stories. I have recently finished reading the first two books of Shiva trilogy by Amish

I was taken aback by it.

First by the lucidity of writing style, second by the story line.

Amish the author of books is an IIM C graduate who has left his job after success of his first book.

Weekend Watch - Meri Brother Ki Dulhan

Nothing special about the movie. The story is quite predictable.Yash Raj banner has tried to make a comedy movie but they have greatly failed in their venture.We can't expect acting from Katrina Kaif & Imran khan :) Ali Zafar was good in his debut movie but he has tried more than enough in this movie that appears in his over acting.Songs are good to listen but good songs don't make a movie good to watch.

Don't waste your precious bucks on this movie.

Q-> What is the one thing you hope the reader will say about your book?

Rajeev Ranjan - I think one question that will cross everyone’s mind after reading the book is whether it is a real story. And the answer to that will yes and no both. Though some of the sections of the book are inspired but it is predominantly a work of fiction.

Q-> What is the one feedback you NEVER want to hear?

Rajeev Ranjan - Though it’s difficult to find one feedback that I don’t want to hear

Q-> Which other book comes closest to your novel?

Rajeev Ranjan - I am yet to find one.

Q-> Which authors writing style inspired you?

Rajeev Ranjan - Chetan Bhagat and Arvind Adiga.

Q-> Describe the moment when you saw the first copy of the book?

Rajeev Ranjan - The first moment when I saw my book is probably the best moment of my life. It was realization of a dream that I conceived at a very nascent stage. The feeling to hold the book in hand for the first time will always remain close to my heart as one of the best feelings of my life.

Q-> How did you go about finding a publisher?

Rajeev Ranjan - It was very difficult to find a publisher for the work. I sent the sample chapters and synopsis to almost all the publishers. I never knew it was going to be this difficult to find a publisher. After so many rejections letters the acceptance of the MS by Diamond books was like ray of promising light through thick clouds.

Q-> Which book are you reading now?

Rajeev Ranjan - God of small things by Arundhati Roy.

Q-> Any advice to aspiring novelists who haven’t found a publisher yet

Rajeev Ranjan - Keep trying. If the work is good it definitely finds a recognizer.

I've been thinking very hard for the past few days about an original topic that I could blog about. I wanted to give my readers something really good to digest, something a bit tasty for their minds, but. Alas, I have nothing!

I am writing about books since the early days of my blogging. And now I only write about them. People are suggesting me to change the name of my blog , they don't really mean it I know;).I haven’t started this blog keeping something in my mind. It was just a coincidence .It’s serendipity of the blog that so many people liked it. I owe them.

When I look back I find that I had made so many good friends through this blog. In past few months some of my blog readers and friends have asked me about my plan of writing my own book. I will I can assure you. But when it will come into existence, I can’t tell you a fixed time. I have some goal & responsibility to fulfill. Right now that is my first preference. I will try to start writing it soon, fingers crossed. Hope I will get what I really trying to achieve.

About the Author
Abhay Nagrajan did schooling in Mumbai & Bangalore. I did my graduation from SRCC and followed that up with a Masters degree in finance (MFC) from University of Delhi. I worked as a financial advisor for a little over two years. Besides working or writing, I enjoy reading up on cricket statistics- my first love since class five. Corporate Atyaachaar is debut novel of Abhay Nagarajan. I have enjoyed reading the book. It's a story of a Finance post-graduate from Delhi University who is recruited by a wealth management firm in Bangalore. The company specializes in catering to the needs of High Net Income clients. The protagonist is made to work under an obnoxious boss and assist him in managing the investment requirements of a set of highly distinctive clients, who according to the author are weird. Dealing mainly with interesting interactions between the narrator and the HBS, the clients arrange for a series of meetings before and post the stock market fall. The story line is humorous and I had enjoyed reading it.
Will he be able to get a good appraisal? Will he able to woo the hot daughter of Aunty of PG where he live?

To know all these you have to read the book.

I am suggesting few regional movies that I had watched. You must watch these movies.

Watching these movies are real fun. I have watched these movie in its original language. Never watch dub movies. They steal the reality. I use subtitles to understand the movie.
