What you have learnt that matters? Bullshit!
My personal experience says in India grades, numbers, matter the most.
After all numbers is the criteria on which we judge people.

Aren't we judging Sachin's credibility? He has failed till today to reach his Hundredth ton.
People forgot about what he has achived till date, they are pissed with the fact that he hasn't got the so called century in last eight or nine month.

We are not happy because our Captain cool has failed to win a test series in Australia. Few months ago people who are praising him for his midas touch, now bashing him for his poor performnace.

Ask a sales person who has targets to achieve? he will tell you how the number plays a role in his life.
It doesn't matter how much good client he has won for his company what matters whats the number.

Haven't you ever faced the number drama in your life..........

So Sachin Garg is back with his fourth book. Hope the story will rock.

Book Summary of Never Let Me Go...

What made Sachin abandon everything he had --an Engineering degree and a drop dead gorgeous girlfriend - and flee to Goa instead to start life afresh?

On being kicked by life, harder than he could ever imagine, Sachin had three options.

He could look life in the eye and fight back.
He could succumb and do something that would haunt him forever.
Or he could flee, to a place where there were no traces of the blow he had received.

So Goa it was. In search of solace, perhaps, by working in a small shack at an unknown beach.

Dealing with the local police, resurrecting a dying shack, and managing rowdy parties, risking having his bones and jaw-line broken, does Sachin get what he was seeking?

A ride full of adventure, twists and thrills, the story of the twenty first year of Sachin's life will definitely take your breath away.

About The Author

BOOK Summary of Zero percentile -2.0 by Neeraj Chhibba
Life is fun only till it is simple And, the ambition of being the biggest software company in the world can never be simple. The lines of destiny tell the story of a torn-between-two-friends Priya; an afflicted-with-HIV Nitin and his struggle to not fall in love; a doting father and technologist Arjun; Diyaa, Arjun s brilliant daughter with special needs; San, his love for the Babe, the most ambitious software product in the country, and Jaanvee; and the two best friends Motu and Pankaj. Pankaj and Motu start a small software company called Numero Soft. Surrounded by friends Nitin, Priya and Arjun they never thought work was going to be difficult. Fortunes changed when a chance break took them to America the land of golden opportunities. An overpowering desire to conquer the world, coupled with the hunger of doing it at any cost makes life hell. Ideologies clash and ultimately the friendship breaks apart. A story of greed, love, friendship, conspiracy, an attempt to murder and a hostile takeover bid which ends in a pulsating climax after seven days of bitter fight for control. About The AuthorNeeraj Chhibba announced his arrival on the literary front in 2009 with his first book Zero Percentile Missed IIT Kissed Russia (ZP1), which went on to become a national bestseller. Widely read and appreciated, it led to the genesis of his second book Zero Percentile 2.0 (ZP2), a sequel as well as one of his first attempts to write about life inside the bubbling Indian software industry.

My Stand
A well written book that I enjoyed while reading.Give a best insight of a software firm. A must read for softwrae guys.Emotions, drama , suspense every thing is in this story. Neeraj has evolved as a good story teller.

So here comes another book review of the day. Finally finished 350 pages of love saga by Digvijay Ade. 'As long as you love me and even after that' is the debut novel of Digvijay Ade. Digvijay Ade an engineering graduate from V.J.T.I. Mumbai, currently pursuing his MBA from IIM Lucknow has written his love story.

What so different about the book. Only one thing I have found the minute details of his relationship. I have read a lot of love stories but none of them are like Aditya's saga. Aditya the protagonist of the tory meet an accident in the beginning of book. His friend Sahil a doctor who find him in ransack position in hospital left his job. The beginning of the story is so dramatic, I didn't fell that it's going to be a simple love story of loving a girl, losing her and tryst of getting her back. The book is definitely going to love by love birds.

What can you do for getting your girl back?

Anything you get a reply, if the person loves her more than her life.

can you write a book, if you are not a writer type, you will think hundred times.

Aditya got her best buddy Anchal who is ready to share his pain, his love.

Will Aditya get Esha back, love of his life.

read the book to know further.

Digvijay Ade forthcoming book title is 'Journey of lifetime'.

Happy Reading.

Few years ago, during my engineering(college) days I had picked a book 'Everything You desire' by Harshdeep Jolly. The book was not that entertaining but it gave me an insight of life @ IIM-B. After that I have read almost every second book on campus story. Few months ago I also read another book on MBA life 'The great Indian MBA dream' by Shiva Prakash. The book thrown a light of life @ISB Hyderabad and life after that. Both the book were good but they lacked an essence.

Finally I read Snapshots from hell: the making of an MBA by Peter Robinson. You are thinking whats different about this book. Here it is

"Snapshots from Hell: The Making of an MBA answers the question that every prospective student asks -What is business school really like?During his first frenetic year at Stanford Business School, Peter Robinson began keeping a journal of his day-to-day impressions, which evolved into this book. Brilliant, funny, and profound, Snapshots from Hell follows Robinson from his first harrowing days at maths camp through the dizzying phalanx of core courses, the frenzy of the exam week, the pitfalls and triumphs of the interview process (including a surreal interview with Robert Maxwell) to being wined and dined by some of the most prestigious companies in the world.Robinson's story is told with witty and candid prose, peopled with a remarkable and unforgettable cast of characters. A must for all aspiring Masters of the Universe as well as MBAs, Snapshots from Hell is a fast-paced, first-hand account of the nightmare world of getting a top business school MBA."

So finally I have read a book that answers why life is hell @ B schools. I enjoyed every bit of the book.Hope you will also enjoy. If you are planning to do an MBA or ever thought doing it, you must read it.

Before finishing my post I also want to speak a little about the author of book Peter Robinson.

Peter Mark Robinson (born 1957) is an American author, research fellow, television host and former speechwriter for then-Vice President George H.W. What ensued thereon was something Ronald was least prepared for. How could something as catastrophic transpire in an organization, considered to be the Mecca of banking? Ronald has no answers.

And when the CBI lands up at Deepak Sarups doors trailing the scent of a the
executive, to fight his own battles. Will Karan, Deepak’s one time adversary and
now a Journo, bail him out? Will Savitha, his girlfriend, stand by him? And will his
family; the CBI and more importantly the country believe what he says?

With the media and CBI in hot pursuit, Ronald can’t help but wonder what his fate
has in store for him

An intriguing tale of love, politics, unbridled aggression and money
By Sachin Garg

I had very high expectation from 'It's First love!'.But It's little disappointing for me, I have expected something better from Sachin Garg after reading his second book "I am not twenty four". I am not saying that "It's First love! ....Just like the last one"is a bad book to read, the story is smooth but it failed to keep the charm that Sachin had created after his second book. I know this one will also going to be a bestseller very soon. It deserves that. But as a regular reader of books written by Sachin, Durjoy, I was expecting something better than the earlier one. Sachin's "I am not twenty four" is one of the book I adore most. I wish I had written that. Let's peek into the story of It's First love! ....Just like the last one.

The story is about Sachin , Kanika, Arshi, Radhika, Zeeshan & Niel.Sachin is in love with Kanika.Kanika is in love with Niel.Arshi is in love with Sachin.Sachin finds his love in Kanika, Kanika starts loving Sachin.Sachin's guitar friend Zeeshan start liking Kanika and in love with her.Radhika mother of Kanika is a flamboyant personality, Sachin praise and respect her for her success.Arshi lost his mother Radhika and blame herself for her death. At the same time Zeeshan and Niel start hitting on her to accept them as her soul-mate. In all this drama the person who is suffering the most is Sachin. Will confused Kanika find her true love?

You have to read the book to know that.

A perfect filmy drama. That's all the story of 'It's First love! ....Just like the last one'. In some places it's lost the connection but after few page its again picked up pace.

In the end Sachin has mentioned about his fourth book. I hope it will upto his second one.I am still saying 'It's First love! ....Just like the last one' is not a bad choice, my expectations were high!

Happy reading

:)

I was in college when I had started watching this Series. The Vampire Diaries seasons are based on the book written by L.J.Smith.When I had watched the first season, I gave an attempt to read the all books of this series, but failed as i had found that watching the seasons is better than reading the whole story. The story is so captivating that you will find yourself glued to it.I have already watched the first two seasons of the Vampire love Saga. The third season has been recently started and I am looking forward to watch all the episodes. What I felt that the seasons are much better than the book and I am in love with this show.If you are really interested in reading Vampire stories. You can read the Vampire diaries series books

The Awakening

The Immortals of Meluha

It is set in 1900 BC, in what the modern Indians mistakenly call the Indus Valley Civilisation. The inhabitants of that period called it the land of Meluha – a near perfect empire created many centuries earlier by Lord Ram, one of the greatest monarchs that ever lived.

The once proud empire and its Suryavanshi rulers face severe perils as its primary river, the revered Saraswati, is slowly drying to extinction. They also face devastating terrorist attacks from the east, the land of the Chandravanshis.

To make matters worse, the Chandravanshis appear to have allied with the Nagas, an ostracised and sinister race of deformed humans with astonishing martial skills.

The only hope for the Suryavanshis is an ancient legend – ‘when evil reaches epic proportions, when all seems lost, when it appears that your enemies have triumphed, a hero will emerge’.
Is the rough-hewn Tibetan immigrant Shiva, really that hero?

And does he want to be that hero at all?
Drawn suddenly to his destiny, by duty as well as by love, will Shiva lead the Suryavanshi vengeance and destroy evil?

The Secret of the Nagas

Shiva’s hunt for the Naga who killed his friend Brahaspati and targeted his wife Sati, takes him down India’s major river networks, searching for traitors and seeking allies in his war against evil. But evil is rising again, more potent than ever. A whole nation is dying. Another, suffering for no fault of its own. Everyone is suspect: new friends, old allies and even his philosopher guides. At every corner, Shiva finds evidence of Naga activity. A crown prince is murdered. A people held to ransom for a miracle drug made only by the Nagas.

Shiva’s journey takes him across the length and breadth of Swadweep, to the land of the Brangas and further south, deep into the Dandak forest. Shiva searches for the truth in a land of deadly mysteries – only to find that nothing is what it seems.

Book 2 of the Shiva trilogy takes up from the point where Shiva is dashing to save Sati at the end of The Immortals of Meluha. Does he succeed? His archenemy seems to be winning every encounter. All Shiva knows for sure is that the Chandravanshis aren’t evil. But then, neither are the Suryavanshis. So who or what is evil? And who is the mysterious Naga that stalks his family? What does he want? What is The Secret of the Nagas?

The story is quite predictable.Yash Raj banner has tried to make a comedy movie but they have greatly failed in their venture. We can't expect acting from Katrina Kaif & Imran khan :) Ali Zafar was good in his debut movie but he has tried more than enough in this movie that appears in his over acting.Songs are good to listen but good songs don't make a movie good to watch.
And the answer to that will yes and no both. Though some of the sections of the book are inspired but it is predominantly a work of fiction.

It was realization of a dream that I conceived at a very nascent stage. I sent the sample chapters and synopsis to almost all the publishers. I never knew it was going to be this difficult to find a publisher. Alas, I have nothing!

I am writing about books since the early days of my blogging. And now I only write about them. People are suggesting me to change the name of my blog , they don't really mean it I know;).I haven’t started this blog keeping something in my mind. It was just a coincidence .It’s serendipity of the blog that so many people liked it. I owe them.

When I look back I find that I had made so many good friends through this blog. In past few months some of my blog readers and friends have asked me about my plan of writing my own book. I will I can assure you. But when it will come into existence, I can’t tell you a fixed time. I have some goal & responsibility to fulfill. Right now that is my first preference. I will try to start writing it soon, fingers crossed. Hope I will get what I really trying to achieve.

About the Author:- Rashmi Bansal is a writer, entrepreneur and youth expert. She has authored two bestsellers namely, Stay Hungry Stay Foolish and Connect The Dots. Stay Hungry Stay Foolish was first released in English and is now translated into many Indian languages. An alumnus of IIM Ahmadabad, she has worked with Times of India Group and is currently with JAM Magazine in Mumbai.

About the Book : ‘I Have A Dream’ by Rashmi Bansal is a book on entrepreneurship. Having authored the bestsellers ‘Stay Hungry Stay Foolish’ and ‘Connect The Dots’, the author writes on a similar theme and incorporates the element of social entrepreneurship in her latest.

Akin to her previous books, ‘I have a Dream’ is centered on social entrepreneurship. It is a story of 20 idealists that think and act like entrepreneurs. They are dedicated to various causes with one common factor: the belief in the principles of management and its optimal use to achieve greater common good.

If you believe that change is constant and the only person to bring about change is yourself, Rashmi Bansal`s book will enthrall you. The book exudes the true meaning of change. It delves upon the fact that change is brought about by someone like you, so much so, that it could even be a person next door. It encourages the ordinary mind to think of ideas extraordinaire.

My Stand :- I have a Dream is one of the book that touched my soul. The true stories of twenty entrepreneurs, I called them social entrepreneurs. They have chosen a path and were glued to it, to follow their dreams. The book is in same format as the previous ones. The Book starts with the famous quote of Martin Luthar King
“I have a dream…that one day all of God’s children will be able to join hands and sing… Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

The book is divided into three sections – Rainmakers, Changemakers and The Spiritual Capitalists. Each story in this collection has a great impact on common people..

The Story of Anand kumar & his Super30 is one of the most inspirational story. Every year he selects 30 poor students from different parts of Bihar and they are making records every year by making it to IITs.

Arvind kejriwal. who doesn't know him now. He is fighting against corruption with Anna, to make possible that the Lokpal bill will come to existent.

ProdiganSun Selco,Not everyone here will recognize this company.Harish Hande’s Selco is a company which makes solar lighting suitable and available for villagers, this company has already reached its hand to numerous houses in Karnataka and plans to take the project forward in other states as well.

All Stories are so motivating that I want to write about each one.

Read the book to know in which category you fell or in which category do you wants to belong.....

No one can match the writing style of Rashmi Bansal, the way she collects the stories of these entrepreneurs and writes in a lucid manner that you will find yourself connected to the book while reading these stories.

One thing that I can suggest about the book that even if you are not interested in entrepreneurs, Still read the book, it's not only about entrepreneurship, it's about something different. It's about listening your heart and chasing your dream.

"Friendship is a precious gift that can’t be bought or sold. It’s value is greater than mountains made of gold. If you shall ask God for a gift be thankful if he sends not diamonds pearls or riches but the love and trust of friends."

"Friends are like raindrops once you loose them never come back, But best friends are like flowers they bloom with you from the start and
never go away.."

Difficult question,.........

I am not very good at making friends but once I made someone my friend I will try my best that he/she will remain my friend forever.

Blurb :-

How would you classify an experience
of working under a dominating, obnoxious boss who has no confidence in
your intellectual abilities equating it to that of his small five year
old nephew? Interesting? ...Challenging?...Uncomfortable?...Unavoidable?

CORPORATE ATYAACHAAR is the comical journey of a
subservient, twenty four year old financial advisor, freshly recruited
from campus as he assists his boss in managing the investment
requirements for a set of high net worth clients in Bangalore through
the initial stock market euphoria of 2007 and the subsequent turbulence
caused by the market crash of 2008.

As an advisor, the subordinate encounters many 'non-financial'
experiences including a dancing dog which suffers from a memory loss, a
revelation that a client enjoys hot body massages, a client who paints
nude art for charity, a curious case of a 'stubborn' nipple and a house
hunt for a missing musical mobile!

Will work frustration make the subordinate step up and challenge his boss? Will he get a good appraisal?

About the Author
Abhay Nagrajan did schooling in Mumbai & Bangalore. I did my
graduation from SRCC and followed that up with a Masters degree in
finance (MFC) from University of Delhi. I worked as a financial advisor
for a little over two years. Besides working or writing, I enjoy reading
up on cricket statistics- my first love since class five. Corporate
Atyaachaar is my debut novel.

Corporate Atyaachaar is debut novel of Abhay Nagarajan. I have enjoyed reading the book. It's a story of a Finance post-graduate from Delhi University who
is recruited by a wealth management firm in Bangalore. The company
specializes in catering to the needs of High Net Income clients. The
protagonist is made to work under an obnoxious boss and assist him in
managing the investment requirements of a set of highly distinctive
clients, who according to the author are weird. Dealing mainly with
interesting interactions between the narrator and the HBS, the clients
arrange for a series of meetings before and post the stock market fall. The story line is humorous and I had enjoyed reading it.
Will he be able to get a good appraisal? Will he able to woo the hot daughter of Aunty of PG where he live?

To know all these you have to read the book.
A must read book.

Watching Movies & Reading books is two things that I do in spare time.

I am suggesting few regional movies that I had watched. You must watch these movies.

Watching these movies are real fun. I have watched these movie in its original language. Never watch dub movies. They steal the reality. I use subtitles to understand the movie.
Quite enjoyed watching them.
My 3 best pick

1. Bommarillu (Literally means Toys house)
The chemistry between Siddharth and Genellia is perfect.

2. Happy Days

Life @ College. Awesome movie.

3. Magadheera

Good work of Camera and Effects.

Enjoy these movies.

Will suggest few more.
