Available from Haredata Electronics, our Open Frame power supplies are a part of a family of high performance 100W Open Frame AC/DC power supplies specifically designed to meet energy saving eco-design standards. Fabricated on a miniature 4 x 2 inch PC board, they offer a unique combination of high power density, robust performance and economy.

Six standard models operate from a universal 85 to 264 VAC input; providing tightly regulated outputs of 12, 24 or 48 VDC. Three models offer a second +5V SB output. Standard features include 90% efficiency, filtering to EN 55022 ClassB and PFC to EN 61000-3.

With its small footprint, high efficiency and low standby power, our Open Frame power supplies are an economical solution for meeting the performance and ECO-design requirements of a wide range of commercial/industrial applications.

Haredata Electronics products are designed to provide long, reliable field life. Considerable attention is given to the proper selection, derating and layout of all circuit components. New GPP6 6Watt Global Power Plug

The GPP6 6 Watt Global Power Plug is now available for your power supply applications.

The GPP6 marks a new category of FRIWO's successful GPP platform. Like the already established units, GPP 10 (10 Watts) and GPP 18 (18 Watts), the new GPP 6 (6 Watts) also comes with an interchangeable primary plug system and a wide-range input of 90 - 264V AC which qualifies the power supply for worldwide use (GPP = Global Power Plug). Its light weight and compact design is ideal for mobile applications.

The GPP6 line comes with outputs of 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V and 24V. Customised outputs or special cables are also available.

The GPP6, like the rest of the GPP platform, probably has the widest range of dedicated interchangeable mains plugs available for use in the following areas; European, US/Japan, UK, Australia, Korea, Argentina, India, China, Brazil and IEC Countries (where a mains lead is preferred).

Due to the standby losses of ≤ 0.3 Watts and the high efficiency rate of 80%, the units comply with the EuP guideline step 2. All power supplies are current limited, voltage regulated and sustained short circuit-proof. The GPP6m complies with the medical standard IEC 60601-1 and can be used for a wide range of medical applications.

Typical applications for GPP6 power supplies are digital cameras, Bluetooth appliances, electronic cash systems, laboratory equipment or patient monitoring.

The Eco-design Directive for Energy-using Products (2005/32/EC) came into force in August 2007.

It establishes a framework under which manufacturers of energy-using products (EuP) will, at the design stage, be obliged to increase energy efficiency and reduce products’ negative environmental impacts. One of the products now mandatorily covered by the Directive is External Power Supplies where requirements for Efficiency and Standby Losses are specified. Compliance with these requirements is shown by the logo IV or V on the base print.
