Africa is a wonderful place with regions where the various colors, creed and languages are scattered. The northern part of the region basically is occupied by the people of light skin color and most of them are descendant of the Arab tribe. Some of the countries in the northern part of Africa includes; Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Chad, and Libya. All these countries speak the French and Arabic languages. Most of them have border lines close to either Europe or the Middle East.

Landmarks and tourist attractions

These countries have important places that can be referred to as landmarks and tourist attractions that are worth paying a visit to at least once in a lifetime. I want to believe that Africa is the cradle of civilization that is why developments in Egypt cannot be ignored. That is why there are very unique places of interest and archeological interest in the land of Egypt.

Interesting places in Egypt

A mention of Egypt will not be complete without mentioning the Pharaoh that ruled the ancient countries in the past. We will also not be doing justice to the land without mentioning those things achieved by these Pharaohs during their reign. One of the Pharaoh that achieved greatness in Egypt was Ramesses II. He was the one that created the amazing edifice that made Abu Simbel a place of importance in Egypt; this is because of the two temples carved out from sandstone cliffs near River Nile. These temples have been in existence over 3 millenniums ago.

Some other important places to visit in Egypt are the famous pyramids located at Giza some few kilometers south of Cairo. These pyramids are so famous that even Hollywood cannot ignore films shots on these locations. These important pyramids made Egypt a very important place in tourist attractions all over the world. These over 100 pyramids were the tombs of dead Pharaohs in the ancient past. They also served as altars through which food sacrifices were offered to the dead pharaohs many years after they have died.

An example of the pyramids is the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu a.k.a Pharaoh Cheops which happens to be the greatest of all the pyramids.

Your visit to Egypt will be incomplete if you fail to pay a visit to the Sphinx. This is the site of the great statue of half human and half lion. This statue is regarded as one of the largest and oldest statue in the world.

If you are in Egypt then please take time out to visit the valleys of the kings. This place is so called because it is the place where kings and nobles were buried in tombs. These burial rites took place in the 16th and the 11th centuries BC. This valley is located on the west bank of the river Nile near Luxor. Archaeological antiquities can be discovered from this site that became very famous in 1922 when the tomb of Tutankhamum was discovered without any alterations in the way it was laid. A visit to Karnak a place located very close to Luxor will bring you to one of the largest temples sites in the whole of Egypt. This is because three main temples where merged together. You will also get to see the temple of Amun the largest and the most impressive temple in the whole of Egypt.

Africa: the best continent on the face of the Universe. I know many people will argue this fact with me but whatever you choose to say, I believe I have the right to my on opinion and maybe by the time I line out my reasons to support my believe then I might be able to convince you to feel the same way I feel about the continent called Africa. I am proudly African.

What makes Africa the best continent on the face of the Universe?

Countries in Africa: there are over fifty beautiful and easy to live in countries in Africa and they are; Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameron, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Reunion, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. These countries have gone through the pre-colonization, colonization and post-colonization periods, all these have contributed in forming and shaping what can be referred to as the culture and traditions of these various countries. Despite all that was taken away by the colonial masters, Africa still remains a very wealthy continent save for bad leadership in the various regions in Africa.

The clement weather; the weather in the various part of Africa from the north to the south and the east to the west is the best around the world; the rainy season, the sunny and every other season in Africa agree with the people living in the continent. This is a continent that has recorded the least natural disaster compared to the other part of the world.

The natural resources: One thing that is wonderful about the continent of Africa is the level and quantity of natural resources that has been deposited in the various part of the continent. There is no continent in the entire world that can lay claim to these level or quantity of resources. Apart from oil that has become a common commodity of the whole world, there are also many other resources that the whole world will kill to get. Talk about the Gold, Diamond (the blood diamond all over the world especially in Europe and the Americas), the Bauxite, the Ore, Cocoa deposit and many other deposits on the continent.

The People: I have seen people from all around the world but the friendliest and accommodating of all resides in Africa. Africa is where we have the sense of community, a place where you will always have people to care for you even when they are not even members of your family. A place where you can wake up in the middle of the night and ask your neighbor for help, a place where you can miss a friend and decide to pay a visit without prior notice and you will be welcomed with open arms. Give me the name of another continent where this obtains and you will be able to prove me wrong.

The Languages and Colors: There are thousands of languages in the continent of Africa and also people of various colors and identity depending on the location of the country and the country that is responsible for the colonization of the territory, but despite this there is Unity in our Diversity. The more the languages we speak in Africa, the more the unity on the continent. The more the colors of the people, the more the love expressed from the heart of the people, one to another. Some of these languages includes but not limited to French, Arabic, English, Spanish, Tigrinya, Amharic, Portuguese, Sesotho, Swahili, Afrikaans, Yoruba, Hausa, Ibo, and many more. These are just the major languages in Africa and there are many more languages apart from these that are spoken locally in Africa.

Regions in Africa; Africa is a continent divided into 5 major regions. These regions are the north, south, east, west and the central Africa. These regions are made of countries and these countries make the continent tick. They have a lot of places than can be referred to as tourist attractions and these places have a lot to do with the evolution and development of the continent. The preparation therefore involves good leadership that aims at preparing the foundation for any form of change.

Leadership must be focused and practical.

When change is announced the success of it depends on the part played by the leader. This is because the organization will go through a period of complete transformation which may lead to a lot of instability. Many of the subordinates will go through a period of fear which may result into low productivity, confusion and often times a partial emotional breakdown. This is because it is always very difficult to accept a feeling of loss and an uncertain future. One thing I will like to do is to hinge my opinion on the freedom of speech, which is something that is embedded in all constitution all over the world. Even Saddam during his reign knows the importance of this, that is why he did all he could to suppress the citizens in his country.

Why Gay: Marriages or Relationships
Well I have chosen to talk about this topic because of the effect it is having on all human race and even on the body of Christ known as the church. I may be seen as being biased by those who do not believe in Jesus Christ whom I believe and confess as my personal Lord and savior. I am beginning to feel that this issue has degenerated so much to the extent that even the church is now engrossed in it.

I was watching the film Spartacus and I saw the way the act was practiced and then begin to wonder if that is the exact situation that existed then; then sexual recklessness has been in the human race from time in memoriam.

They say the only constant thing in life is change and I accept this fact. But one thing I have noticed is that the changes that are taking place in this life are from good to bad, positive to negative and no one is ready to make any difference by standing against such changes. In fact legislatures are now promulgating laws to support the act of homosexuals. One thing I know is that this is made possible because even our legislatures are engaged in the act. The acts of making life easy for the teaming populist are being neglected. People are waiting for improvement in housing policy, tax reduction, provision of good health services and cheap, good and clean schools for their children but all this is being neglected and we are facing crisis in the way that we choose to live our lives and turn around from the actual way God wanted us to live our lives. confusion reigns

I have been on hub-pages and so many other article sites for so many years without making money, i mean real money from all my efforts. one thing i came to realize is that most faults about my not making money is not about any body,s fault or due to the fact that i have been duped, scam or misinformed. The war against terror started in 1991 when the late Saddam Hussain invaded Kuwait. this was just a ploy by Saddam to take possession of the resources that is in abundance in that country. The United States of America Responded to this invasion by forming a coalition to fight against Saddam many countries where involved in these fight. Many soldiers where lost and at the end of everything money was shared. many leaders stole this money, they call the money the gulf war wind fall. Many innocent civilians also died during this period but no one cares. They are just collateral damage that occurred during the war.

Saddam survived the first war. But he will not be quite he will still continue to challenge the superiority of America. He was accused of having Chemical or nuclear weapon. Another war began in 2003, he was captured and executed. but there was no chemical weapon in Iraq. the war was just to gain control of the oil wells in Iraq. Many soldiers and innocent civilian died. Many more are still dying just over the oil wells of Iraq. This has always been the real situation but despite all these i still love America and Americans. I love the sports, the music, the movies, the stars. Until the Olympic disgrace of their athletes.

One thing that all human beings and animals have in common is aging which eventually leads to death, some of us have the pleasure of living to the ripe old age of 70,80 90, and above. No one in life prays to die young we all wake up everyday asking for the protection of God. For some of us who have lost loved one we know how painful it is. The lost of a mother, father and even pets affects us greatly and we wish that is nothing like death.

As time goes on we realize that aging or growing old is an inevitable part of life and all we can do is to accept this fact and try to either slow down the aging process or avoid the many diseases associated with growing old. We cannot reverse the process. Aging but there are factors that can be establish which can help us in slowing down this process.

It is no longer news that the average death age of people nowadays falls in 40s and the 50s, people are no longer leaving to the age of seventy and above. But the amazing revelation now is that there are developments that can help us to get to the age of 70 and even get to the age of 120. These as a lot to do with the things we know and not only knowing but the things we are ready to do. Leaving a well balanced life can help us to get to this old age and not only getting there but maintaining that youthfulness you crave.

Free radicals are just molecules in the body with an incomplete electron and through the process of searching for the electrons they affect the chemical structures of our body.

The body cannot avoid the free radicals because they are necessary evils, the small quantity of these radicals in the body can help the body develop but ones it is becoming excess then we have to take steps in addressing it.

Glycation on the other hand is much more dangerous than free radicals because this a process that use what the body needs to attack the body. The body needs protein to survive because protein helps the cells in the body to function properly meaning that protein should exist on it own not in conjunction with many other substances or what we call molecules. But this is not really possible because of the existence of some substances called the glycation agents these substances include: glucose molecules, sugars, and similar chemicals known as aldehydes. These chemicals attach themselves to the protein thereby preventing it from performing it primary function. These attachment leads to the formation of bio chemicals which attacks the body and speed up the aging process.

Methylation: This can simply be explained as the addition of the methyl group substances to the various constituents of protein, DNA and other molecules in the body. These is an important aspect of body metabolism which helps the body to function well the absence of methylation in the body can lead to death. This is how important methylation is to human existence. Methylation is an important aspect of the body but too much of it or the inadequate amount of it can lead to diseases such as Alzheimer and Dementia. The most dangerous effect of methylation is that it can lead to heart attack.
Inflammation is another factor that has to be monitored to prevent it negative effect on the human body. The cause of inflammation cannot be narrowed down to one thing but it can really destroy the human body because it has been proven that inflammation is responsible for almost all the diseases associated with old age. The fact that all the above mentioned factors are interrelated makes it difficult to actually trace the cause of this factor.

Preventing the negative impact of these factors: We have taken the pain to explain some of the factors that can accelerate the aging process, we now need to know how to handle these factors and make use of them to the benefit of our body.
The effect of Free radicals, Glycation, Methylation and Inflammation can be minimized by doing the following: we need to maintain a very clean environment devoid of pollution and radiation, though the technological advancement that we are witnessing all over the world will not make this easy but we really need to put a lot of effort into doing this. In the olden days I have read about people living to a very old age simply because they maintain their natural habitat, so the price of technology is what we are witnessing. The use of antioxidants can also help in reducing the negative effect of these factors in our body, the anti oxidant will help in eliminating the damaged cells in the body caused by factors. Anti-oxidants are available in unprocessed foods which are very difficult to come about now-a-days. The anti- oxidants are also available in the common vitamins that we take such as: Vitamin A, C, and E and other vitamin supplements. Avoid the intake of food that act as glycation agents, the consumption of food rich in carbohydrates and sugar can cause glycation and this will have a negative impact on the body. Alot is going on around the world, some counries have the best of everything and some peple can die for their country, but in some countries it will be atragedy if you decide to die for your country.In the USA i have read about so many things being done by the goverment to improve the life of the citizen.I know of the monthly allowance for the unemployed, i know of good road system, i know of the basic amenities like hospitals and schools for the people, i know of the different places where you can get some freebies: free foods, free place to sleep at least for one night, free, free, free and free, but people still complain but what about if you are living in my country where nothing seem to be working .People have stollen so much money, even more than they can spend in a life time. no power supply because they want to sell generating sets.no good roads, no hospital even the government official travel abroad for medicals.

You will then be amazed at the level of callousness in the minds of people when people can be so wicked to themselves. you need to read this to know what i am talking.

I have an uncle who has accomodation problem, before my mother died she left a house. one of my brothers offered a room to this my uncle to save him from a bad situation, but my sister refused to allow that to happen simply because my uncle has not been there for us, his sisters children. ithen wonder what she will gain by paying back evil for evil, i sincerely feel we should give the room to my uncle because God ask us to be good to all men most importantly those who have not even done anything to help us, because by doing this we will be known as the children of God. she bluntly refused, we now had afalling out when my uncle was unfortunately evicted and the rain fell on that day he was evicted, he s;ept in and abandoned vehicle, the rain fell on his belongings. and when my sister was told she said she does not care. i was now angry and i have to give her a piece of my mind.

to me i believe family should always be important no matter what.And you may not have anything in this world but if God gives you an opportunity to be good to someone,you really have to make a good use of it. you may not know how you will be repaid back.because God owes no man. you must always try to make others happy no matter what. even if you consider them a pest.My Pastor said that the greatest losser in the bible was that in keeper who refuse the use of his inn for the birth of Jesus. You need to know that just that little space in your bathroom may be a life saver to someone in need.To you it is nothing but to others it is alot. Use every opportunity to do good to someone. you may not know when you are helping an angel. There where many incidence of plane crashes in Nigeria between the year 2005 and 2006.Many lives where lost and many families where bereaved loosing loved ones in the plane crash. the first plane crash took place in Lissa a remote village in the north of Lagos and over 117 lives where lost. These includes many Nigerians dignitaries who came to Lagos for business and where returning to the federal capital Abuja or those who were going to Abuja to transact business. this first plane crash occurred in October 23 2005, another on the 10 December 2005 and another 13 October 2006,and 29 October 2006 and many other.

The most agonising of this plane crash was the one that involved some school children returning home for the Christmas break in December 2005 Over 107 Nigerians where in the plane and 75 school children brilliant Nigerians died.Some of the Mother of these children cannot have any more children.

This happened and blames where traded from the ministers to the airline, to the facilities at the airport. Committees were set up, finding where done and action were taken. the facilities will be improved upon through to the promise of the government money was released billions of money was released in Nigerian money($165 million) for the aviation industry.Nigerians became very happy thinking that the solution to the plane crashes has come.

I was then very surprised when recently the senate prob on aviation in my country came out with revelations that the money appropriated for this improvement have been stolen by some greedy Nigerians in power.The two past ministers where fingered in this theft ,they are the first minister Babalola Borishade and the second one Femi Fani-Kayode. This simply means that the expected improvement in the aviation sector in nigeria has not been done that these people are waiting for more Nigerians and foreigners to die in plane crashes again.

"Experts say many airports in the country are still without effective navigational, surveillance or communication equipment, while the emergency services lack proper search and rescue facilities, raising questions about where the money went."

Some people are saying that the implications of these ministers are just some political victimization, well it maybe so because anything can happen in my country. But what about the facts on the ground that there where no proof as to what has been done with the funds release. I am not bothered about what they do or not with those arrested because at the end of the day they go back home and we will hear nothing about the incident again. All i want to ask is this are this people not concern about those dead people including those future Nigerians who would have contributed something positive to the nation? Oh if they are not concern about them what about those childless parents still living? How do you think they will be feeling reading all these on the pages of newspaper and watching these accused people smiling to the camera whenever they are brought to the court.

"All i wanna say is that they don't really care about us". They kill the people, they kill the children and they are smiling to the camera.

STARDOM AND THE ISSUE OF DRUG ABUSE AND ADDICTION

Growing up in the 1980's i fell in love with music most especially the music of Micheal Jackson,Bobby Brown,Whitney Houston and many more. As a matter of fact Bobby brown became my idol and Whitney became my main girl, all of their music and everything about them appeal to me.You can then imagine how i felt in 1988 when Whitney and Bobby got married it was as if i won a lottery, as if i will be leaving in the same house with them enjoying all the luxury that they have at their beck and call.

If you have succeeded in imagining how i felt then then it will be possible for you to now imagine my sadness when i began to get the news of their marriage failing and the fact that they are both drug addict. It was as if the world will end

But the world did not end, if at my age i feel this way about this couple i wonder how the younger ones will feel.What i now came to realise is the fact that it is as if drug use is not a taboo in the world of stars.Imagine the numbers of those stars that have been hooked on drugs some have successfully win the battle while some are still fighting the battle.Some have not even realise that it is a problem, some believe it is just a way of life.

Whitney and bobby are musicians, let us talk about the movie world.Many of the popular movie stars are coming out to admit their addiction to this disease killing the society little by little. Sport stars are getting disgraced every now and then simply because they have spike their system with drugs.I wonder what we will do about stardom and the tendency to destroy lives is it that the devil is giving them fame and taking their souls in return or is it just lack of discipline?.

The pictures above is convincing enough to show the damage the use of these drugs can do to human beings. You can see the transformation of these music stars. what do we talk about is the fact that some people make money from destroying the lives of others by selling this destructive substance to their fellow human beings.

We can talk about Stars and the popular people, but what about those unknown people dying of drug abuse and addiction every day. The devil is destroying the world and we are helping him to succeed. God is good to us all but according to the bible "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loose his soul". The world is nothing but vanity upon vanity, that is why we have to think about how we will live our lives in the life after,are we going to be proud of the legacy we will be living behind when we die.Let us think on these.

I pray for those who have been caught in this web that the good Lord will intervene and bring healing to them. but you need to turn to him first because when all treatment fails he alone can bring you what is called Divine healing.And for those who are in denial, you need to come out,seek help, talk to people and most importantly talk to God.

You don't really have to agree with me on this topic, not with all the chaos going on in the world, not with the fact that people are dying everyday out of the carelessness of..........,not with the fact that the rich are getting richer the poor are getting poorer.Not with the fact that the peoples money is being shared by the........., Not with the fact that wars are being fought over resources of another country and our young ones are sent to die over this. Not with the fact that in Africa the seat tight syndrome is gaining ground.Or what will you say about Zimbabwe and Kenya or can you count the numbers of wars and genocide happening around the world.

What about Starvation,Poverty and Diseases ravaging the human race due to the greed and foolishness of these people.I know you will be wondering who i am talking about. The LEADERS.I mean your President in your country,Your governor or mayor,Your house of assembly members or MP's or whatever you choose to call them.

What i am saying is that no matter what is happening you are not in a position to say negative things about them if you want things to get better.Why ? Because God ordered it. I mean God ask you not to insult the leaders and your heads.

I know and i have read about places where they have good transportation, health, housing and even places where you get free food and other stuff, places where people get good mortgage systemand mant other things. places where you get paid at the end of every month if you are unable to get jobs, and people in these places still complian that things are not good enough.

Then i now begin to wonder how these people will react if you live in my country and experience the things we are going through. Bad government.

A situation that you get a 30 minutes electricity supply in a week and you count yourself as one of the lucky few because other have not seen electricity in months.Health is Zero ,Transportation is none existence. But God said we should pray for them and respect them because no one becomes a king or leader if he has not chosen them.

I use to curse and abuse them but i have since change my attitude because the more your curse the more things get bad.Therefore what will he cost you to wake up in the morning and ask God to direct their paths and thought and also to give them wisdom,i know this is the only way for us to have a better world.

To many of you, the title of this hub will either look ridiculous or funny, but you will be amazed at the controversy this is causing in the christian doctrine where i come from. So many of the churches are engaged in this discussion based on the aspect of the bible where God instructed in Deuteronomy 22:5 "The women shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God"

This particular verse of the Bible as caused a lot of ripples and even generated a lot of discussions among believers and non believer at large.To some churches in my country this particular verse as been zero in on the wearing of trousers by the women to the extent that any woman seen to be putting on trouser will be regarded as a sinner.But there are churches also in my country that see nothing wrong with women putting on trousers as long as it looks good on you and will not allow another to fall into sin. i belong to this school of thought but i really don't even know what to think again.

The world is really coming to an end and the devil is actually showing himself strong in the affairs of the world.He as completely taken over the fashion sense in the world that it will be difficult to know who is wearing rags or who is actually putting on clothes. A walk around the street will show you that morals have given way to immorality,people put on clothes as if they are harlot or "hoe" as the will be referred to by my American friends will say.

Do you really blame them partly yes and no.The devil as completely taken over the minds of the designers such as:VALENTINO GARAVANI,RALPH LAUREN,TOM FORD,DONATELLA VERSACE,YVES SAINT LAUREN,ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, BETSEY JOHNSON,JOHN GALLIANIO,MARC JACOBS,STELLA MCCARTNEYand many others because all they bring from their labels is nothing but what the bible described as harlot dressing. You do not need to struggle to see what was suppose to be a woman dignity exposed to the naked eyes of men so that you can come and feed your eyes. The blame i placed on the women folk is the fact that they have decided to subject themselves to this ridiculous mode of dressing and even awards were given to the most insane designer.

You now complain of sexually transmitted diseases, the world is dying what is God doing.Let me ask you a question will you be ready to help a child of yours who intentionally disobey your instruction? No, i don't think so. So why should women be made as sex object and every day you fight for woman dignity when you intentionally ridicule yourself in the open .

Have you seen the rape statistic especially in the so called developed countries of the world.And you blame the rapist when you intentionally make it easy for them to achieve their purpose. I wonder what the world is turning to.

Over the last 2years 787,000 were raped or sexually assaulted.

The FBI estimated that 72 out of every 100,000 were raped last year.

All these happened in the period of 1996, and there are estimates of silent victims, those who will not come out to talk.

Don't get me wrong, i will never support rape or the rapist in-fact i believe that all rapist should be shot. But what are women also doing to protect their dignity.

Movies will not sell except their is sex and violence in it, sex dominated the Internet. Sex is all around us, you flaunt it, gave the wrong signals and the guy rapes you in return and you scream blue murder. Musical videos will not get high sales and ratings except women are made to dress half naked an made to shake for the guys to see. What are women doing to themselves. This is ridiculous and nobody can help you except yourself.

America has become the modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. all evil thing originate from America. American should thank God for the Saints who are still living amongst you if not. Who knows what would have happened by now.

Despite all i have written above, i really don't see anything wrong with women putting on trousers because i believe that trousers were not made exclusively for the men folks and for as long as the trousers remain a unisex outfit then it will be hard for me to agree that women who were trouser will go to hell.

I want to believe that women wear trousers because it i more convenient to put on, adapt to every situation, and also covers there thigh whenever the seat down.I am not claiming to know all so if you disagree with me kindly live a line or two so that i can respond to it.
