Are you ready?

Are you ready to turn away from the scams and the schemes and the promises of easy money that never seem to work out? Are you ready to stop chasing after every "biz opp" that lands in your email inbox? Are you tired of being treated like some guru's personal ATM... where he thinks he can just push your buttons and you'll give him your money? Are you ready to ignore the flashy websites with all their pictures of big houses, fancy sports cars, and piles of money?

Are you ready to turn your attention to a real business with real products and real customers who send you real money... not because you fooled them, but because you have exactly what they've been searching for?

If you're not using your time and energy to build something solid that will provide long-term benefit for yourself and for those you care about, then you're simply wasting valuable time... and squandering your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Don't let that happen to you.

Just by being alive at this particular point in history you've been given an incredible gift. The choices you make will determine whether that gift becomes a never-ending cycle of frustration and losses, or provides a life of comfort and security for you and your family.

And only you can make those choices.

What can you get for $5 bucks?

If you're not satisfied with the progress you're making toward achieving your goals, or if you're just not sure that what you've been doing is the best way for you to spend your time and you'd like to know once and for all that you're doing exactly what you should be doing to help secure a brighter future for you and your loved ones... then please accept this invitation to spend a few minutes learning why thousands and thousands of people have made the decision to seize this amazing gift they've been given and build a solid, profitable Internet-based business that will last for generations!

Motivated Moms - Making Staying At Home and Keeping Your House Organized A Little Easier

2008-12-18T17:14:00.002-05:00

I have found a wonderful inexpensive way to keep myself sane while staying at home and working from home. It is called Motivated Moms. This unique and straightforward chore planning system is for moms who are trying to balance creative endeavors with their desire to have an orderly and organized environment in their homes. Really anyone can use this valuable tool. As friends who met online, Deann Polanco and Janet Russell collaborated for several years on the Motivated Moms chore planning system. Beginning in 2005, Janet wanted more time to spend on other interests and Deann took over the business. Initially offered in traditional ‘book’ format, it is now a printable chore list in e-book format for readers to download and print.

The system is designed to help you complete chores and tasks throughout the year so that you don’t spend your entire day doing housework. To help you organize your priorities, the printable chore lists has the daily necessities listed as chores, and the less frequent duties listed as tasks. If, while pursuing other goals, you miss the tasks scheduled for a particular day, you don’t have to ‘transfer’ those tasks to the next day. Just remain focused on completing daily chores and do the weekly scheduled tasks as they fit into your schedule and family lifestyle. The tasks you miss will come up again on another day.

Above all, the Motivated Moms Chore Planning System is NOT intended as a guilt planner! Motivated Moms is all about reducing stress, not adding to it, and making home management easier.

The Motivated Moms Chore Planning System comes in six versions, the full-sized with Bible readings scheduled (a schedule to read the Bible through in a year), the full-sized without the Bible schedule, a half-sized version with and without scheduled Bible readings and a "page per day" version with and without the Bible schedule that has one day of chores per day and also has lines for appointments and a box for the daily menu plan and a place for notes. Any of the six would be a great tool in order to be able to get everything done each day.

A wise woman once told me..."If you keep doing what you are doing...you are going to keep getting what you are getting."

The most important thing that I did was to make a decision to "do something."

I wanted to do something that meant something. Confusing, isn't it?! However, it is so true. I wanted a business. I wanted to enjoy waking up every morning, working from home and loving my business. I wanted to give something back to the world. After much soul searching, Letters For Kids was born.

What better way can I give back to the world than providing happiness to a child. Letters For Kids provides character letters made personally for each individual child.

Imagine the look on your child’s face when he/she receives a personalized letter addressed to them in the mailbox from their favorite seasonal character like; Santa, Rudolph, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, A Friendly Ghost and more!

The memories we create now in our child’s lives are ones that will last forever. Your child's magical belief only happens once in a lifetime...start a family tradition now with these wonderfully presented Letters for Kids.

I am a Christian mother of 3 children myself and I treasure every memory I make with them!

I can remember years ago attending a little girl's birthday party. Her theme was her beloved Princess Aeriel. She loved princess Ariel so very much. I can only imagine now what my business could have meant to her. Picture her opening gifts at her party and mom presenting her with a letter she had just gotten from the mailbox...yes, a letter from Ariel wishing her a very happy birthday. Not only that, Ariel would have gone on to mention special things about the child that would surely have lit up her face!

I can remember when my children were five and six how they loved Woody & Buzz from Toy Story. How fun it would have been to have them write a letter to either Woody or Buzz and have a personalized response come back to them in their own mailbox. I can say without a doubt, it would have not only made their day but their year!

Have your child write to their favorite character – mail me the letter and I’ll write back! Imagine their surprise and the magic of that moment!

ABC News Features ChaCha!

2008-11-11T13:11:00.000-05:00

ChaCha is so popular ABC News is now writing about it. In an article dated June 10, 2008, editor/writer Emily Friedman for CBS writes:

No question is too complicated, too bizarre or too random for ChaCha, a recently launched mobile answering service that promises quick and accurate answers to your inquiries via text message.

Wondering where the cheapest place to buy gas is in your city? ChaCha knows.

Want to know which team won the 1985 Super Bowl? ChaCha can tell you, so long as it can be done in 160 characters or less.

Anyone with a cell phone with text messaging capabilities can text a question to ChaCha (242-242 in numbers), and in minutes will receive an answer to their question. There is no charge for the service, though standard text message fees do apply.

"Using ChaCha is like having a smart friend around all the time," said Brad Bostic, president and co-founder of ChaCha, who launched the service in January 2008 with business partner Scott Jones.

But what Bostic says makes ChaCha different from other answering services like 4-1-1 or Google mobile is the human component.

"There is nobody that I've seen that delivers the kind of sophisticated solution that we have that really combines the human intelligence with the technology to provide accurate answers," Bostic told ABCNEWS.com.

The Life of a ChaCha Guide

Sarah Nickow, one of 10,000 ChaCha guides, has answered 1,523 questions since passing the application tests and getting hired at the site in March 2008. She estimates that she's made as much as $160 in one month – approximately twenty cents per question she answers.

"The first couple of months I worked for ChaCha I spent a lot of time on it – 10 to 12 hours a week – but this month I'll do less because I started going back to school," said Nickow, who said she chose to apply for ChaCha primarily because of its flexible work hours.

All Nickow has to do to report to work is log on to the ChaCha Web site and wait for a question to pop up on her screen.

Nickow responded to one question during her interview with ABCNEWS.com – one that asked if she liked pinecones.

Surprised by the question, Nickow reveled in her chance to show some personality – ChaCha instructs the guides to have some fun with the users, who don't know the identities of the "ChaCha encourages you to be sarcastic with your answers," Nickow told ABCNEWS.com of the site, which does not regulate the number of hours a guide must work. "The whole idea is that they want the people who use this program to know it's a person answering – that's what makes ChaCha different."

"I have never given the question much thought," Nickow responded to the user with the pinecone inquiry. "I don't personally have many opinions regarding pinecones. They don't bother me…"

Moments later, she was responding to a question from a user inquiring about a video game's release date.

Nickow told ABCNEWS.com that while the majority of the questions she answers are about sports scores or local restaurants, there are plenty of users who fool around with the system and ask sexually explicit questions.

Repeat offenders can be blocked from the site, Bostic said, but silly questions are still encouraged for the most part.

Bostic says he's found that the guides' ability in answering everything and anything makes the service that much more fascinating to users and increases their rate of return.

"We're answering millions of questions a month, and hundreds of thousands a day," said Bostic, who said on average he uses the service 10 times a day.

"Fifty-five percent of people who try ChaCha keep using it, and on average consistent users use the system 40 times a month, or more than once a day," added Bostic, who said that the site has just started making revenue by linking to specific sites within their answers. For example, if a user asks about the release date of DVD, the responding ChaCha guide will not only tell them the date but send them a link to a site where they can purchase the film, he explained.

Personal Touch Helps ChaCha Stay Unique

David Griner, a writer specializing in social media at marketing agency Luckie & Company, told ABCNEWS.com that while ChaCha is not the first system to utilize humans as fact seekers, they are the most direct in doing so.

Mahalo.com describes itself as a "human-powered search," said Griner, but really they use real people to organize search results so that you only get the most accurate answers.

Twitter also has a sort of human answering service known as "AnswerMe" which lets you ask a question to a large Twitter audience, but there is no guarantee that those people answering have any idea what they're talking about.

"I'd rather ask a network of people I trust a question than hope one of the three million results on Google are right," said Griner, who said he's seen a trend over the past year of search engines utilizing humans to find answers. ChaCha's screening process of their guides adds to its legitimacy as an accurate source of information, added Griner.

ABCNEWS.com tried to stump ChaCha — but to no avail. When we asked whether Britney Spears had a shot at a comeback, ChaCha responded, "Britney Spears ruined her comeback at the VMAs." When ABCNEWS.com asked why Big Brown lost this weekend's Belmont Stakes, ChaCha responded, "It's still unclear, Big Brown's Trainer has said, 'I got no idea. I was looking for a problem, and so far I can't see a problem.'"

As for Nickow, she says she enjoys working for ChaCha not only for the extra spending money but also because of the opportunity to help people solve their burning questions.

Even so – Nickow says that working for ChaCha can be as stressful as any other more conventional job – especially when she gets an answer wrong.

"During the first few weeks I got a question that was asking about the relationship between Pokemon characters," said Nickow. "I have no knowledge of the Pokemon world and so I tried to find the answer but I guess I was wrong."

"I got an e-mail from [my ChaCha boss] quality saying that my answer wasn't accurate and to please try harder next time," remembered Nickow.

"I actually felt really bad," she said. "I was really upset that I had done a bad job and now this person is out in the world thinking these Pokemon characters are cousins – and they're not."

Moms - Spend Sensibly During the Holidays!

2008-11-08T21:54:00.001-05:00

With the hype that holidays usually bring, people always have the tendency to buy more and spend more without taking into account the consequences that their actions can bring.

Hence, it does not necessarily mean that because it is the holidays you have all the reason in this world to buy whatever you want and spend how much you want. Some people contend that it's just once a year, so better give what you have.

The problem is that giving something just for the spirit of the holidays does not mean you have to spend gold. You can still give something that will be deeply appreciated without having to spend more money.

Here's how:

1. Make a budget and stick to it

The problem with most people is that they find making a budget relatively easy but sticking to it is doubly hard. So what's the point of making a budget when you do not know how to conform to what you have stated in there?

Making and using your budget should always go hand in hand. Therefore, when you make your budget this holiday season, it is best that you follow the things that are written in it so that you would be able to save more money.

2. Live within your means

Of course, everybody would want to give gifts because that is what the holiday season calls for. However, it does not necessarily mean that you have to spend more than what you can afford.

The trick to saving more money is to always live within your means. Spending more than what you can afford will definitely bring more problems than you can afford to solve.

3. Personalize it!

As they say, it is the thought that counts. Hence, there are no better ways to show how much you have thought of those people this holiday season than making personalized gifts.

4. Shop and compare

It really pays to shop around and doubly better when you compare prices. You will never know which items are better priced than the others are when you do not compare their values.

The point here is that you should not be confined to one shopping portal. Try to look for other items, usually in thrift stores and consignment shops, where you can find the best items at a lower price.

Indeed, shopping for the holidays can be fun, but you don't have to be spendthrift. Nowadays, you really just have to be practical.

Before You Make the Leap to Work From Home Mom....

2008-10-19T23:56:00.002-04:00

One bit of advice.... before you take the leap into a work-at-home opportunity: Take an inventory of your talent, add a dash of creativity to your thinking and come up with a plan that suits you.

• If you sew well, do alterations for others.

• If you have a good grasp of a particular subject, tutors are always needed.

• Good with a computer? Consider teaching others how to use one. You might also want to do computer work for college and graduate students. Try putting up flyers around your area as well as the local colleges and universities.

• Create personal websites for friends and neighbors. Parents might want to purchase one from you as a gift for a child. It can used for photos and 'firsts' as the child is growing. This makes a great gift to the parents of a newborn!

• Are you handy with crafts? Costume jewelery making and selling can be aimed at school-aged girls or adults, and all well-priced gift items sell well especially before the holiday season. The list can go on as long as you align your talents with services or products others need. Be imaginative and create a job! If you choose to go the standard work-at-home route, heed these warnings from the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.

Many people want to do part-time work at home, especially when they have a newborn. But a lot of work-at-home offers are scams. One stat has it that for every legitimate offer you may see, you're going to come across 42 scams. The Federal Trade Commission has formed a multi-agency task force that plans to track down these criminal outfits and prosecute them. The FTC is working with the Justice Department and the Postal Service to go after 200 of these companies. The scams include envelope stuffing, refrigerator magnet sales, Web design, medical billing and vending machine businesses. Some people have been taken for $5,000 or more. But even if it’s a small amount – like $50 – don’t believe these scams. Any time someone asks for money up front to start a business, it’s a scam. Check out more at ftc.gov.

Be sure to check out my website created especially for stay at home moms, those thinking about staying at home, retirees or those thinking about retiring. You'll find lots of advice, articles, freebies and legitimate work from home opportunities.

Stay At Home Moms Unite!

2008-10-10T22:57:00.003-04:00

So I found the work from home job that I love which is ChaCha. I work when I want, where I want. My time is very flexible.

With that said, I want to share a little more with you.

I have a long history of helping other women. I feel I've been called to do more.

With that said, I've created a website called....."Stay At Home Moms Unite!" It has truly been my Labor of Love for many months.

Whether it be stay at home moms.....moms to be that are thinking about staying at home.....or those that have retired.....staying at home can be a big decision!

The website I have created is to provide stay at home moms with choices. I've researched legitimate work from home jobs and I've experienced many scams as well. Hopefully my knowledge is your gain.

I've tried to include lots of free stuff....downloads on Women & Money.....A Freebie section for everything from diapers to grocery coupons.

It is still a "work in progress" as I'm adding more sections and articles so bookmark me and checkback often!

Even if this website isn't specifically for you, I ask that you share it with your family & friends that you know who may be in this situation of deciding whether to stay at home or continue to work. I only wish all of this information had been available to me many years ago. However, looking ahead to the future....I hope others can prosper from what my website has to offer.

Please help spread the word.....

I welcome any and all suggestions!

Wishing you all the best,

Laurie Crafton

Award-Winning ChaCha is Fastest Growing Mobile Search Service

2008-09-18T16:08:00.002-04:00

The human-powered mobile answers service quickly captured seven percent of the mobile text search market with a quarterly growth rate of more than 800 percent.

INDIANAPOLIS – September 17, 2008 - Accepting the 2008 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Innovation, ChaCha announced that it now has more than a million users and has answered more than 27 million queries since it launched its revolutionary mobile answers service in January. This, combined with its quarterly growth rate in Q2, makes ChaCha the fastest growing mobile search service, surpassing both Google and Yahoo in both WAP and text-based search growth rates (according to the latest data from Nielsen Mobile).

ChaCha increased its market share in the U.S. mobile search market to seven percent, tying for second place with Yahoo at the end of June 2008. ChaCha also exited the quarter with an 800 percent growth rate, compared to Yahoo’s 200 percent growth rate.

“Mobile search is growing at an incredible pace,” says Chris Quick, mobile media analyst with Nielsen Mobile. “Within the mobile SMS search category, ChaCha is the fastest growing service, increasingly competitive with other mobile search providers. We’re therefore keeping very close tabs on how ChaCha will affect the mobile market.”

“After reviewing numerous operators in the mobile search and advertising markets, we believe ChaCha offers the most compelling service for mobile users,” said Vikrant Gandhi, senior analyst for Frost & Sullivan. “The high level of interest demonstrated by the number of queries ChaCha answers on a monthly basis clearly indicates that mobile users are finding the service to be of real benefit. We’re delighted to honor ChaCha for their innovation in breaking the code in mobile search through their search methodologies and practices.”

“ChaCha is honored to be recognized by Frost & Sullivan as an innovative and unique service that demonstrates outstanding achievement and superior performance in leadership and technological innovation,” said ChaCha CEO, Scott A. Jones. “In the past eight months, we’ve cemented our position as a mobile search leader and now every 10 seconds a new user tries ChaCha. By offering a superior solution in an explosive market, we are attracting the best partners to leverage our unparalleled service for mutual benefit.”

Recently, ChaCha also launched its mobile marketing solution, ChaCha 1:1, and is partnering with premium brands including Coca Cola, Fifth Third Bank and McDonald’s to implement engaging, conversational and highly relevant mobile marketing campaigns.

ChaCha merges sophisticated search technology with the power of human intelligence by leveraging its growing base of over 35,000 Guides to answer customer queries 24/7 by simply texting a question to (242 242) or calling (1-800-224-2242) from virtually any mobile device. This radically simple solution has allowed ChaCha to achieve its industry-leading growth performance.

WHAT IS CHACHA?

2008-09-05T14:20:00.001-04:00

I am a stay at home mom who has spent the last year searching for a good, steady, legitimate work from home job. I'm not looking to get rich quick. Heck, I just need living money. I'm sure many of you that are reading this are in the same situation.

One of my friends happened to introduce me to a forum called "Work Place Like Home." I signed up anonymously as Blue Baby and just started rooting around and reading. It was great! These were people just like me looking for the same things I am. There were people there who had found legitimate jobs and of course some that were still looking. I looked up a bunch of the jobs and though they were legit, they were mostly telephone customer service representatives. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, don't want to do it again!

One day I saw a title of "ChaCha" on the forum. I leave no stone unturned so I decided to check it out. The business is called ChaCha and what it is is a human-powered search and answers service. Guides for ChaCha deliver answers via text or PC, anytime, anywhere, any question. Any one from any cell phone and any mobile carrier in the United States, can dial 242242 (chacha) and ask any question whatsoever. Also called a query. ChaCha Guides research the question through the internet and return an answer.

New Guides make .10 cents per Question & Answer (Q&A) completed for the first thirty days. After the first 30 days if you have met ChaCha's quality requirements for Top Guide you will be moved up to .20 cents per Q&A completed. To maintain the .20 cent rate, you must complete 200 queries per week and maintain a 95% or above accuracy rate per ChaCha's Quality Control Unit. If, however, you don't have the time to do 200 queries in a week, you will still be paid at a rate of .10 cents per query. Each week starts a new chance to become a Top Guide. With ChCha you make as much as you want when you want. I work in my p.j.'s sometimes and others while I'm sitting outside on my swing from my laptop and you can find me on at weird hours during the night. I can work whenever I choose!

Can I just go ahead and say how much I LOVE this job!

Finally, something that is making me steady money while working from my home!

A few have said it doesn't sound like much. To that I say I stay at home with my kids. I can go up to my kids' school and work in their classroom. I'm at home when my kids get off the bus. I don't pay over $4 a gallon driving to and from a job. It's all in what your priorities are.

This is not and let me repeat NOT Multi Level Marketing (MLM)!!! Been there done that also. ChaCha does give you a reward for bringing other people on board as fellow guides but the reward is only for you for those directly under you. Payment on one line, that's it! ChaCha rewards you 10% of each Q&A of any members you personally bring on Board. If one of your Guides that you brought on board is at the .10 cent pay level for a week then you will receive .01 cents for every Q&A that they complete. If your Guide is at the Top Guide pay level, the .20 cent level, then you will receive .02 cents for each Q&A that they complete. It's such a great opportunity that you will want to share it with all of your family & friends who might be in the same position that you are of needing a little extra money.

If this sounds like something that interests you, feel free to visit ChaCha at www.chacha.com and click on Become A Guide. If and when you sign up if you will use my email: lcraftonavon@bellsouth.net, I can help you through your initial training and test taking process. Without using my link I won't be able to help you. I'm having so much fun at this I love bringing others on board!

The question I get most often is, how many questions can you do in an hour or in a day. My answer is you can do as many as you want. There are no fees and no commitments.

Some Guides do 50 questions a day, some do 350 questions a day. I know of one person that does 2,000 a week. Wow! (We have to have a life sometime!!!!)

Your typing speed and ability to use your Google search bar greatly effects how much or how many Q&A's you do.

You will end up having a ChaCha toolbar on your computer. When you want to work you click "Available" on your toolbar and when you don't want to work you will click "Away."

People with any mobile phone company will text questions to ChaCha. The question hits ChaCha's server and goes out to a handful of Guides who are available. A doorbell rings. You either answer it and take the question or if you don't answer it the question will go on down the line to the next Guide that is set to Available.

Again, go to www.chacha.com and click on Become A Guide. That will not "commit" you to anything. It will take ChaCha 24-48 hours to send back an invitation to you at which time you will complete more info. It will not cost you a single dime to sign up and there are never any fees, whatsoever! That's a beautiful thing!

ChaCha is looking for quality people so they have 3 initial quizzes that you have to pass before you can move on.

A Review of Wholesale Portal

2008-08-26T22:57:00.003-04:00

So they say there is all kinds of money to be made on eBay. I decided to do a little surfing and to my surprise it seems there are over 1,001 views on how to accomplish this. I set out to find one of the best ways to make money through eBay and put it to the test.

After sifting through a ton of scams I came upon Wholesale-Portal. This is a site that has access Access to over 1,500,000 wholesale products, dropshippers & liquidators. You can buy top designer products at 90% discount and sell them on eBay, your website, local flea markets etc, for huge profits. If you choose, you also can get a web site preloaded with 150 products & Google Adsense!

The beauty that I found in this program is that no money comes out of your pocket up front! That's right, you find the item you wish to list, and sell it. Your buyer pays you the retail price, you pay the wholesale price and have the item shipped to the buyer. Pretty easy!

I also liked the fact that Wholesale-Portal offered me sign-up bonuses. I like to be bribed! Here's what I got: access to paid surveys online, paid emails online, four eBay software downloads including Turbo Lister which will allow you to list multiple items and upload to eBay in bulk. It is an amazing product in itself. If you've ever done any eBay listings you know it takes quite a bit of time time to upload items and list them individually. They also offer a $50 weekly bonus to the highest earning affiliate.

Wholesale-Portal has a very good site video that explains how everything works in great detail. I found that everything works pretty much like the video says.

If you are looking to buy and sell on eBay and make extra money, I'd certainly recommend this site. Very easy to use!

CHACHA ANYONE?

2008-08-22T21:30:00.002-04:00

Finally, something that is making me steady money while working from my home!

The business is called ChaCha and what it is is a human-powered search and answers service. Guides for ChaCha (me) deliver answers via text or PC, anytime, anywhere, any question.

Any one from any cell phone and any cell service can dial 242 242 (chacha) and ask me (a Guide) any question whatsoever. We research the question through the internet and return an answer.

New Guides make .10 cents per Q&A completed for the first thirty days. After the first 30 days if you have met ChaCha's quality requirements for Top Guide you will be moved up to .20 cents per Q&A completed. You make as much as you want when you want.

A few have said it doesn't sound like much. To that I say I stay at home with my kids. I can go up to my kids' school and work in their classroom. I'm at home when my kids get off the bus. I don't pay over $4 a gallon driving to and from a job. It's all in what your priorities are.

You can go to www.chacha.com and click on Become A Guide. If and when you sign up if you will use this email: lcraftonavon@bellsouth.net, I can help you through your initial training and test taking process.

The question I get most often is, how many questions can you do in an hour or in a day. You can do as many as you want. There are no fees and no commitments.

Some Guides do 50 questions a day, some do 350 questions a day.

Your typing speed and ability to use your google search bar greatly effects how much or how many you do.

You will end up having a ChaCha toolbar on your computer. When you want to work you click available on your toolbar when you don't want to work you will click away.

People with any mobile phone company will text questions to ChaCha. The question hits ChaCha's server and goes out to a handful of Guides who are available. A doorbell rings. You either answer it and take the question or if you don't answer it the question will go on down the line to the next Guide that is available.

Again, go to www.chacha.com and click on Become A Guide. That will not "commit" you to anything. It will take ChaCha 24-48 hours to send back an invitation to you at which time you will complete more info.

ChaCha is looking for quality people so they have 3 initial quizzes that you have to pass before you can move on.

To show you what a real and great company this is, we were just one of the major sponsors of the recent Nascar Brickyard 400 and the popular X Games. ChaCha continues to win award after award for this new human based search engine.

ChaCha is a free service. Only standard text rates apply.

I am making money from this legitimate stay at home opportunity and I have already been paid. Quite well I might add!

Feel free to email me any questions!

MORE EGGS FOR MY BASKET !!!

2008-07-01T18:17:00.003-04:00

I've told everyone throughout my posts that I'm always looking for more ways to make money for us and preferably the FREE way! I have found yet another FREE way to make money. It is called Bloggerwave.com. Basically it is making the most use out of the Blog that you already post to everyday.

Bloggerwave's site says "If you've got a blog, you're already closing in on the money. How? It's easy. We've got advertisers that would like you to write about their products or services. So you do. In your blog. And get paid!"

So my blog is on Bloggerwave. Advertisers need to advertise and for as little money as they can so they choose people like me to do business with. Advertisers present their jobs and "I" pick if I want to write about their services or products. One thing to remember here is you always want to maintain the integrity of your personal blog. What I mean is I would not take a job writing about the latest greatest product from Home Depot. That is not in line with what my blog is about. On the other hand, I could write a review or my opinion on my blog about a new service that involves the home as my blog is about making money from home. Home being the keyword. You don't want to stray too far off your blog's topic.

If the advertiser likes what I write then as long as I leave the write up on my blog for 30 days I get paid. You have to be fair here. If you see a product that you don't like, let someone else have that job that may have a use for that product.

I have just started this so as always I'll keep ya posted and I'll keep looking for other ways to make money for us!

LIFE CAN KNOCK YOU DOWN

2008-06-19T19:54:00.002-04:00

Sorry I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks. Had a little set back. I went into the hospital a couple of weeks ago for a kidney stone (more pain than I have ever experienced in my entire life!!!!) Well, they over medicated me and stopped my heart so I spent the next 2 days on life support not knowing the world was even turning! The next five days after that were spent in ICU and the next 4 days on a regular patient's floor. Whew! So, it's been a rough couple of weeks. But God is so good!!! I'm alive & well to tell that story!

On another brighter note, my Team GDI Pro business kept on working while I couldn't! 4 more people signed up while I was in the hospital! That qualifies me for my first $100 bonus!

Well I'm still very tired and weak but wanted to post since I had not in a while. As always you can email me for more information on TeamGDIPro or instant message me or visit our prospect room or site.

Til next time I'm recovering and continue to Make Money for Us!

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP WITH TEAM GDI PRO!

2008-06-04T14:21:00.002-04:00

Well it's been about 3 weeks now since I started with Team GDI Pro. I LOVE this Team! Everybody is so helpful!

Let's get down to some stats. At the end of about 14 days, I still just had 3 prospects, not sign-ups. I was telling everyone on the Team how down I was because I kept hearing all of their success stories. Everyone gave me 100% support!

Well guys....it turns out that me not getting sign-ups like everyone else was a fluke!!! (Leave it to me to be the fluke!) I was submitted free advertising TEXT ads advertising my Team GDI Pro links and little did I know that the sites to which I was submitted ads were turning my TEXT ads into HTML ads. Well...little did I know there were embedded links in the TEXT ad I was using. Usually in just plain text, you can't click links. Well, when I submitted my Text ads the advertisers were switching my TEXT ads into HTML. So, are you ready for this??? FOR TWO WEEKS I WAS ADVERTISING THE OWNER OF TEAM GDI PRO'S ADVERTISING LINKS!!!! Yes I was doing totally FREE advertising for someone else for two weeks! Ugh!

Okay, good news.....this past week I was able to correct all those bad links and start advertising for MYSELF!!!!! I got 3 sign-ups in one week. Woo-hoo !!!

System works!!! (As long as you check all your links....even TEXT links!)

So now I have 3 sign-ups in one week. For every 5 I get in a week (which I will thanks to my FREE advertising and the FREE advertising the TEAM is doing for me) I will receive $100 bonus. That should be next week. Pretty sweet, huh?!!

As always I'll keep you updated as I continue to try and Make Money For Us!

Feel free to contact me or check out my AMAZING TEAM GDI PRO!!!

UPDATE ON MY NEW WORK FROM HOME BUSINESS

2008-05-29T23:04:00.002-04:00

So, if you have been following me, you know that I have found this great opportunity with this great team, Team GDI Pro. I have been with them about 9 days now. I was told I would get FREE advertising and 24/7 support. All of that has held true. The Team is advertising for me as well as for themselves and I am getting FREE traffic to my site via Safelists and Traffic Exchanges. I have found the Safelists are working better for me and are a little easier to follow.

So far I have gotten 2 prospects. Not 2 signups, but 2 prospects. Some on the team get 1 prospect a day, some get 5 a week, some get 3 a week. It's all in how much you want to work the system.....I want money so I'm working the system HARD. I had been down in the dumps until I logged in today. The first day I have gotten prospects and I had 2 there. I have contacted them and am awaiting to see if they follow through to signing up.

This is my thought. I'm sending out 200,000 plus ads a day (easy to do, don't freak out). No one has time to read their emails everyday so some of these ads may not get read today, tomorrow, maybe not even this week but they will get read. If someone's interest is peaked, they will fill out my form and become a prospect. I take over from there with our wonderful Team and it's 24/7 support. I can send them to a chat room where someone from our Team is always there 24/7 to answer questions even if i'm not. Everyone on this team are so friendly and helpful.

So, the Team claims that the system works and if we work the system the potential is $10,000 a month by 3 months. Yes there is FREE advertising but you've got to work the system as well and do your own FREE advertising. So, no money yet but I remain VERY optimistic. I'll explain the income opportunity in my next post.

Until then I continue trying to Make Money For Us!!

Laurie

BUSY FINDING FREE STUFF!

2008-05-28T17:20:00.003-04:00

Wow, ever since discovering this new Team GDI Pro, I've been having so much fun finding FREE stuff! I've been non-stop promoting my new business with all of these FREE Safelists and Traffic Exchanges....who knew you could get so much FREE advertising and I had always heard people complaining about how much they were spending on Google advertising. I think I'll stick with FREE for now! I don't have any results to share with you yet with my new Team GDI Pro business but I hope to update everyone tomorrow with some positive results.

Until then, I'll continue to try and Make Money For Us!!

Advertising Your Home Based Business

2008-05-27T14:25:00.004-04:00

You should never have to pay to advertise your home based business. You can use Safelists or Traffic Exchanges which are all free services. Now... you can spend your money and pay... but for right now, let's just keep it FREE!

Let's take a look at the different types of advertising, both of which can be obtained for FREE:

SAFELISTS:

Basically, a safelist is a group of people all willing to receive each others promotions via email --in the hopes that their promotion will generate more business. In other words, safelists are many, many "marketers" that have agreed to receive each others email. The drawback is that everyone is trying to sell and no one wants to buy. Some do buy, however, and that's your market. You just need something that other "marketers" will want or need. Currently, there are many tens of thousands of members to various safelists, and some are more effective than others. Every single safelist member had to agree to receive your email. That makes these lists “safer” than simply mass-emailing (i.e. spam)

By definition then, that means that safelists are what is known as "opt-in". Opt-in is when:

People actively choose to receive your message by signing up somehow
People can opt-out or unsubscribe from the list at any time

The best type of opt-in lists are known as double opt-in lists. The difference is that after a person signs up for the list, they MUST reply to an email to be activated. This cuts down on programs spamming the list with false emails and also guarantees that someone DID actually want to sign up.

So how does opt-in email benefit you as the marketer?

It enables you to get your message out to thousands of potential customers every single day (in some cases) --without being accused of SPAM. SPAM is a big NO-NO... regardless of what anyone might tell you

TRAFFIC EXCHANGES:

A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.

Exchanges enforce a certain credit ration, which illustrates the amount of websites the surfer must view in order to receive one hit through the program for their promoted website. Many sites offer the ability to upgrade one's membership level for a more equal credit ratio.

As the viewers are all website owners or affiliates, it is possible that some might find certain member sites interesting and thus make note of them on their own sites, sending more traffic their way. Most traffic programs also impose a time limit when members are browsing, ranging from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. Some incorporate the use of captcha to ensure user interaction.

Almost all traffic exchange programs are free, although many of them offer special features to paid members and offer credits for purchase. Almost all traffic exchange programs encourage users to build their own referral networks, which in turn increases the referrers' amount of credits.

The traffic generated in a traffic exchange can be leveraged by using a downline builder to assist the user in building a referral network in the many different traffic exchanges.

In practice, traffic exchange programs are generally used by small business owners or marketers who either want free advertising or use the exchange programs for low-budget advertisement campaigns.

Until next time I'll continue to try and Make Money for Us !!!!

A NEW DAY FOR ME WITH GLOBAL DOMAINS ITERNATIONAL

2008-05-26T14:38:00.004-04:00

I sure hope everyone checks back today because you are going to want a piece of this pie!

If you've been keeping up, you know that I have been on a search for legitimate AND profitable work from home opportunities. You also know that I killed the SpiderWeb System.

I had kept my GDI (Global Domains International) business. Though i didn't know why.....2 leads in 3 weeks, argh!!! It seemed I had hit yet another roadblock. Until I came across this posting in a forum I belong to:

My name is Patrick Berkhan and I am the founder of TeamGDIPro. We are an experienced group of network and internet marketers who are activelypromoting GDI using the PIF (Pay It Forward) System. With our system, you can realistically start making $10,000 per month within 90 days. That sounds crazy, right? I thought the same until I watched the PIF Movie.

http://www.teamgdipro.com/makingmoneytogether

I joined Team GDI Pro for the following reasons...

* My sponsor actually called me when I signed up.
* Everyone on the team gets free TARGETED traffic.
* Your sponsor pays your first month.
* We have daily training and support.
* We have a private discussion forum and conference room.
* My sponsor returns my calls.

http://www.teamgdipro.com/makingmoneytogether

Now, let me be frank with you. You're welcome to join our team regardlessof your level of experience. However, if you're not willing to devote 30 minutes a day to this business, then we don't want you on our team (sorry).

Ready to join our team? Follow the link below.

http://www.teamgdipro.com/makingmoneytogether

If you have any questions, visit our live chat open 24/7

http://www.teamgdipro.com/makingmoneytogether

I look forward to working with you.

Regards,
Patrick Berkhan

I sat back after I read that and said....."that does sound crazy." Then my brain took over and said....."what if it is for real Laurie." Well, I had tried everything else, right?

So here I went again, I gave up my first GDI account and followed the links above.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES!!!!

No wonder I could never make it on the internet in any of these other opportunities! I WAS TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!!!

This Team GDI Pro is exactly what Patrick said it was....it is a Team dedicated to each other! You have direct contact with your Upline as well as everyone elses' help on the team via Live on line chat support!

There is also a "prospects" chat room that is LIVE and available 24/7. Anyone that is interested in this Team can go to www.gdichat2.com and see what this buzz is all about. You can ask questions, get immediate answers or just sit back and read what all the other prospects are getting answers to. How amazing is all of this!

So, as Patrick promised...in my first couple of days my upline has contacted me and I am in constant contact with her, I am getting targetted traffic from my team mates, my sponser will pay my first month, only $10 !!!, and I'm getting training at my fingertips 24/7 !!!! I got it all!

One thing I do want to stress is exactly what Patrick said....if you are not willing to devote at least 30 mintues a day to this business, it's just not for you. Yes, you are getting targetted leads from your team mates but you've got to get your GDI ad out there on the net as well and this TEAM provides you with ALL the tools and training that you will need to do that. You DO NOT have to have any prior experience!!!!

Don't do like I have done before and sit back and say.."there is no way that will work." Instead say, "what if it does?"

Go ahead, click on one of the links above! It won't sign you up immediately or commit you to anything. It will just explain the system and make you see the light as it did for me!

I'll also keep you posted on how it is working for me.

As always I'm continuing to look for the best way to Make Money For Us!!!

DEATH OF A SPIDERWEB

2008-05-25T22:16:00.003-04:00

If you will go back to the beginning of my Blog, I told you that you were coming along with me on this adventure of finding legitimate work at home opportunities. I knew it would be a wild ride. I tried so hard to make The Spiderweb System work. My Guru Techie friends tried so hard to make The SpiderWeb System work. We advertised, did free traffic, bought traffic, etc. It just didn't work. Yes, it is still in Beta but for us, it just didn't work. Now I know the founder is making tons of money off of it because of all the people signing up for it. Yeah for him! But, not for us. So, this is a Eulogy to The SpiderWeb System. It was a good ride and I did learn a lot about marketing and doing things Free because we are all about Free on this Blog. So for that, I tip my hat to you little SpiderWeb.

ON A BRIGHTER NOTE!!!!!!!!! I have moved on to bigger, better and more lucrative things!!!! Stay tuned!! I know you hate when I do that. If you can't wait, click on the bright yellow link on my Blog home page that says "GDI Reps Shocked."

Until then, I continue to try to Make Money For Us !!!

MAKING MORE MONEY VIA FREE OPPORTUNITIES

2008-05-23T15:09:00.008-04:00

I stated yesterday that I sure was excited about the day's research and the new site I unearthed! Wait no more! First thing I want to say is once again, it's FREEEEEE!!!

Let me introduce you to RevResponse. RevResponse is a B2B site. For those of you that need a definition, B2B is a term often used to describe websites that sell services to other businesses. A business is serving other businesses as opposed to consumers.

I weeded through countless articles, publications and the site itself (to which I have given my thumbs up to and joined) before posting. Most of the reading I did was pretty technical stuff. I'm going to lay it out to you in layman's terms and get straight to the point.

First of all you must be a site owner of business related content to sign up for RevResponse. That can be a Blog, Website, URL, etc. about a certain business or businesses in general. For those of you that follow my Blog you know that I do business with work from home opportunities that legitimately do work! That's my business! So, we, me, being a "publisher" either of a website or a Blog, with business related content, can apply to RevResponse to be a partner with them. You can also think of RevResponse as an alternative to AdSense. You have to pay for Adsense. Again, RevResponse is FREE!

What Kinds of Services Does RevResponse Work With? There are many different FREE resources through RevResponse. Resources range from podcasts and white papers to real magazine subscriptions. Remember these are business related FREE resources, not Vogue or Women's Day or anything like that! Magazine & downloads are broken down into about 30 different industries. Some examples are: internet technology, computers, retail businesses, transportation, and small businesses just to name a few.

How Does All of This Work? You sign up with RevResponse for FREE. Your application is reviewed and you are responded to through email within 24 hours. Once approved (for FREE),
you have access to all of these resources which you are going to offer on your Blog or your website for FREE to your visitors and/or users of your site. When one of your visitors signs up for any of these services or downloads any of the resources, you, I , we get paid!

Perhaps one of the most attractive aspects of RevResponse is that they guarantee a payout of $1.50 for each qualifying signup, subscription or registration. They go on to state that in many cases you will earn much more.

RevResponse gives you all the tools (for FREE) that you will need in order to set everything up. Basically you put a link on your page (which they provide to you, you got it, for FREE) and visitors will click through and see the FREE resources available. There are so many suggestions from RevResponse on how to market the resources. They have banners, text ads and even flashing widgets (flashy ads) that you can put on your site to attract interest. You can get as specific as you would like with your advertising. Let's say your business is only dealing with computers. You could actually advertise only those resources dealing with computers. You wouldn't want to advertise a "Transportation" resource on your site about "Computers." Visitors, like ourselves LOVE FREE STUFF and this is not just any free stuff this is resources which will add value to their own businesses.

I've only just signed up for RevResponse but already in setting my pages up I can tell you that their customer support administrators are lightening fast and have more knowledge than I'll ever attest to having about the ins and outs of setting up computer generated sites, pages & HTML codes. So basically if I can do it, you can do it!

In addition to getting payments from RevResponse for getting sign-ups to their FREE resources, they also have a partner Referral System. You probably won't believe this next line but I checked it out and it is true! The referral program pays 20% of the earnings that a referral partner generates for the first six months of their partnership! So, if I not only got Jane Doe to sign-up for a free resource or two, and she was so impressed by the site that she signed on to be an advertising partner as I am, I would make 20% earnings on everything she made for the next six months! Wow!

RevResponse was recently written up in Forbes magazine as a company to keep an eye on. I think that is pretty impressive! I have also read many articles written about RevResponse as well as many testimonials. Existing publishers (partners we'll call ourselves) have already seen significant earnings growth from using RevResponse. They attribute this to its targeted and relevant catalog of valuable FREE business resources.

While most ad networks present advertisements to users, RevResponse provides publishers a means to generate revenue by presenting their audience targeted content that is FREE.

For more information, or if you're interested in joining, visit: http://www.revresponse.com/join.php/?refbrand=makingmoneyforus

If you are only interested in seeing the Resource Offers then visit:
http://makingmoneyforus.tradepub.com/

As always, I will keep you posted on activity and revenues I receive because I am always looking for ways to Make Money For Us!

WORK FROM HOME SCAMS...STAY AWAY!!!

2008-05-21T17:02:00.007-04:00

I've previously highlighted some of the work from home business opportunities that do work now let's list some that you should, by all means, STAY AWAY FROM!!!!!

* Anything involving stuffing envelopes
* Anything involving assembling toys from home
* Anything involving a big up front payment
* Any company who's ad does not come right out and say what it is
* Typing/Data Entry from home
* Payment Processors
* Gifting Programs/Chain Letters involving money
* E-mail get rich schemes you might receive
* Medical Billing
* Pyramid Schemes - These are illegal. A lot of people think most MLM or Multi-Level-Marketing opportunities are also schemes. This is not necessarily so. The difference in a Pyramid Scheme and legal MLM is a Pyramid deals in only money to advance levels. A MLM involves the distribution of a product like a few of the ones I am involved in. Let's take for example Global Domains International www.TeamGDIPro.com/makingmoneytogether This is a program that you can get a domain name and web hosting for only $10!!! If you also want a business opportunity out of this program then there is a multi-level-marketing aspect as well to GDI. It is legal. I am offering a product. For everyone that wants my product I make $1.00 a month. For everyone that I sell the product to and then they turn around and sell it, I still make a $1.00 off of and so does that new person. It goes on and on 5 levels deep. But it is profitable and legal because I am offering a product.

Don't just go by what I say, you can always have your opportunity checked out.

* Better Business Bureau
* Federal Trade Commission
* Local Attorney General's Office
* Get References. That is how I came to make this Blog. I was sick of hitting brick walls and scams at every opportunity I tried!

Never pay by check. Never pay by Debit Card. Use your Credit Card. It is protected better than any of the other options!

Remember...if it smells fishy.....it probably is!!!!

If you enjoy my posts, please feel free to comment! If you want to chat or have comments, you may post them or email me at craft5mac@yahoo.com

I'm Laurie and I'll continue Making Money For Us
