Life Within

2014-09-28T22:18:00.001+01:00

Oh my I do declare my eyes

Oh my very eyes

Captivated I am as I behold

Such beauty such delight

My gaze surely stolen

Trapped with this moment

Unable to release

Unwilling to let go not ever

So here I'll stand an upon you

I will surely look forever more.

Oh Hear Me Now....

2014-07-08T04:04:00.001+01:00

She captured the night

She stole the stars

How they sparkled upon her hair

Do you see how her eyes glimmer

They beckon to you

To follow her so

To the woodlands through the fields

Up the hill an far beyond

Now hold her hands

Dance a dance true an fair

Tis but you an of course her

The nymphs will play

Their pipes of joy

Whilst the fairies will sing the words

Always so true

Melt away become one

For you have been raptured

By the moonlight shadow

Velvet Kiss

2014-04-15T00:27:00.001+01:00

Silken touches caresses the soul

brings to mind the ethos

of all given devoutly free

beyond compere

To you an I

fingers dance across the flesh

tis but a brief moment

that lasts in the mind always

pause rewind now play

as it echoes on an on

captivated by beauty

This sweet tender angel

dances in sunlight

moves in moonlight

never hesitating only wanting

more an more to feed upon

the golden rays of ecstasy

rained down by a lovers hand

as he soothes her senses

turns her petals inside out

to reveal a inner beauty

hidden for far too long

left dormant untouched uncared

wilting an dying no food for thought

but now upon her so

it rains down a never ending need

of all that is springs velvet kiss

Tsunami

2014-04-02T13:23:00.001+01:00

This river. That flows into a ocean.

It cannot be stopped. It won't be dammed.

No blocks no restrictions.

It will run. It will ebb.

These babbling brooks.

These streams of old.

They cannot be made.

They just are.

Each one flowing into the seas of seven.

Expanding as far as the eyes can see.

What is there in this.

But the vastness an depth.

Set adrift on my hearts wild current ocean.

In a little rowing boat.

Made for me an you.

Connections Beyond Affections

2014-04-02T13:20:00.001+01:00

They say... It's just a animal

It is, it just simply is

They don't do anything special

Only make endless noise

Or create undue mess

They claim it's just a burden

Dirty smelly repulsive

They scorn the affection you have

How fond you are of it or them so

Pathetic they exclaim

Oh how sad you are they say

Gifts you buy they ask you why

Is not like it's your child

Or a lover so they dare to say

But what do they know

Of the bond you share

The moments of joy

An love an care

The comfort an warmth they bring

When alone or feeling blue

A childhood friend

A old persons companion

A family's joy to be shared

The happiness an laughter

They fill your heart with

Whilst tugging on your heart strings

With eyes of beauty

Tender moments stolen cuddles

Whispered words an comedic traits

Each a novel memory

To be stored an saved

An though days may come

Where they may try our patience

At the end of the day

When all is said an done

In your heart you still love them so

So speak ill of my pet mock them more

Speak your words an say with dismay

Laugh an tease point an stare

I truly don't care

For this is my closest friend

An I wouldn't have them any other way

Being You

2014-03-27T01:54:00.001+00:00

Intersecting lines travelling fortunes

Favouring the few ignoring the masses

Time continues to tick on by

Lost seconds amounting to minutes

Collecting into many hours

Lost an sold to the sandman

The only person to gain

What we have lost

Spoken words uttered in the dark

Pierce the heart soothe the soul

An by day the light shines on through

Shattering the words of the night afore

Not seeing or noticing

The person before them so

Loss an regret hurt an pain

Leads on to a moment

Where reality speaks unto you

Age comes an takes away

Self belief faith an honour

An what was isn't no more

An he or she who held you so

Sees not you anymore

A fresh anew if brave enough

To step into the cold world

But the faith of belief isn't there

Looking upon the mirror so

You doubt the existence

Of what you once felt

When led in a lovers arms

Never stopping to ask yourself

Why should I be devoid of need

Love an gentle tender care

Why wouldn't someone see in me

The reflection of themselves

Never seeking to change

Or modify the person that stands

In front of them so

Harness your mind release your heart

It's ok to know you are loved

It's safe to know you are wanted

It's fine to know you are cared for

After all for every being in this world

There is someone for them

To hold them adore them

Cherish an protect them

Because that's what love is

To give without question

Reason or rhyme

An to know

They are always by your side.....

M.D.S

Struck By You

2014-03-08T02:30:00.001+00:00

Love struck stars

Oh how they dance with the moon

To an fro in a tender embrace

As if never to be seen again

To gaze upon their exquisite wonder

Making you almost feel as if

Your spying upon them so

In a moment so very intimate

How can it be that they lay

Oh so very far away

An yet with a out stretched hand

It's as if could clutch them

In my large wide flat palm

To be in such a place

At such a time

Surely let's me know

Just how graced an blessed

I truly am

A gasp a sigh as a star dances

Right across the midnight sky

Look how bright I burn

With love for you

Embrace my warmth

An watch me glow

This is all for you

To say

I love you so.... M.D.S

Crest

2014-02-28T22:14:00.001+00:00

A single tear A crystal ball

Dreams hopes all trapped inside

Spinning turning like a Storm

Ever turning ever evolving

Never decreasing circles

As faith an belief presents

But if but one should fall

Shatter an dissolve

Where will the dream reside

Scatter on the wind

Far an high

Or simply

Seep into the ground

To the murky depths

Never to be seen or heard again

But if you catch it

In your hands so

Will it be preserved protected

Loved an adored

As if your very own

These wishes wants an needs

Precious to me devout within

Hold the key to all that is me

So catch them when they fall

Use gloves of velvet

Believe in them truly

For in your hands

You hold all that is me....

Night Chill

2014-02-28T22:06:00.001+00:00

She brought the light

darkness was ceased

Consumed by mire lost in the night

My body broken an bruised

Echoes beyond trapped in the mind

I'm a prisoner within the grasp of a thousand thoughts

A million screams of those gone by

Until her touch brought about my resurrection

Stood in white her wings aloft

Out stretched hands asking me to come

Into her arms I fall an soft warmth envelopes my senses

Comforted beyond belief held on her grasp

Alive I am free to breath

No more cries no more screams

Just the moonlite an stars left

To guide me on home to her ever loving heart

Where forever more

I will reside....

Cold Comfort

2014-02-28T22:00:00.001+00:00

Lonely....

Oh how I hate the night

The coldness the loneliness

with only the moon an stars

to comfort me

A large bed cold an wider

without a lover to fill it so

Like my heart Vast an unfilled

Wishes hopes dreams

all placed before the stars

But as of yet

they hear me not.....

Warmed Glow:

2013-11-30T16:28:00.004+00:00

White Velvet Gowns

adorning the trees around

and the very bushes so

as they dance together

at the winter ball

under the moonlite glow

that casts their shadows

upon the leaf strewn floor

Jack Frost appears amongst

the briar an heath

with diamonds and pearls

upon

his top hat and tails

oh how they surely

glint and glean

sparkle and sheen

a mirad of colours galore

as he twist and turns

Hazel and the Mighty Oak

Pine and the Birch

branch on branch

linked together as one

waving to the evergreens

as they twist and turn

their impressive boughs

dancing a merry dance

in the winters forest dell

A Thought Shared:

2013-11-16T00:32:00.001+00:00

in a moment of thought
when a hello was shared
instead I found

comfort and shelter

offered in a instant

as arms are wrapped around

the whole of what is but me

holding me complete

turning to me your lips move

an unto me you say

speak your words

share them so

release your fears

but hold me close as you do

tell me your worries

an let me wipe the tears

that fall from your eyes

speak and share your words

for I hear them upon my ears

so very loud and so very clear

look upon my eyes

adoration and understanding

and

tender gentle love and care

I surely convey to you

to the very being the very core

of all that is you

take my hand

I promise I won't let go

after all we've only just begun

on this journey of ours

sparks will ignite

electricity will surge

and your body will course

cells will expand

capillaries will burst

in sudden deep meaningful rushes

but do not fear them

its just me

reaching on inside of you

soothing your soul

calming your very senses

your heart I will hold in my hands

treasuring it always and forever

for deep inside I see

the very being of me

so long now hidden away

forgotten and lost

until now

no words need be said

I already know to what it is you convey

for in your eyes I see it all so clear

the very mirror image

of all that is but me

embrace us now

hold us close

feel me here within you

around you

I'm part and parcel of all that is you

and now your heart beats

in a regular rhythm long before forgotten

Breath with me the air

walk with me smile with me

let go of it all and laugh

for one we are and one we will be

for you are the cooling waters

to my temperate fires

my passion you stoke the flames

whilst cooling my senses

giving me the purpose and reason

to move on forward

washing my body

cleansing my soul

with your soft full tender lips

pressed upon yours as one

you do but whisper

I've found you now

the one I've only ever dreamed of

so don't let me go

keep me safe from the demons

around us both so

hold me closer give me shelter

treasure my gentle but soft

broken old heart

and for you

I will surely grow

now

forever

more

~X~

2013-11-11T18:04:00.000+00:00

I'm often reminded just how fragile

life truly is

more recently with the loss of lives

beyond my control

My Female Cat Storm

was carrying babies

and the house was filled with excitement

and of course joy

awaiting that moment

when they would first come into our world

preparations where made

with glee and happiness

and then it was taken

as they came too early

four very small premature kittens

not ready for this hard world

and though I fought to keep them alive

each one I watched

slip back to where they had come from

home to the ether

heart wrenching

and soul destroying it was

and tears fell amongst us all

you feel useless and blame yourself

what more could I have done

what if Id have done this

or that

but at the end of it all

one accepts that life is

whilst oh so precious

more so fragile

it seems to me now

that our lives as humans

is more fragile then its ever been

with the development of technical wars

eco systems destroyed

hurricanes tornadoes

floods and earthquakes

that strike without malice

but just as deadly

we fail to see how we interact with this world

how we treat it

look after it an nurture an love it so

and yet not once have we stopped to think

this world this earth

it is not even ours

it is the futures

we are but the keepers

the caretakers

and not a fine job we do

we have failed in our very roles

to protect and nourish this very being

that lives and breathes

to keep us all alive

protected and comforted

warm and safe

and now she responds

in the only way she knows

the storms that rage

the seas that swell

the rain that falls

the people that loose their lives

our media is full of such moments

more then ever

and yet

we still don't listen

how long before we realize

its too little

too late

Smoke an Ashes

2013-11-11T17:30:00.000+00:00

Reflections is that all we are when time has passed

those that stood made a final stand

their strength resolved

their hearts full of valor

across foreign lands they traveled

carrying upon their chest

the mark of representation

brave and steadfast they stepped

unto the breach

not knowing if it would be their last

the sounds of shells falling

bullets cracking past them so

the fear unmeasurable

and yet still they advanced

brothers fell screams where uttered

cries and tears shed

and still they pushed ever forward

My Grandfathers

Both served with courage and faith and belief

One in Burma

whom must have seen heard things

I can never quantify

The other in London

as a Fireman during the Blitz

Both serving us

protecting us

saving us

with the support of the masses

back home

be it for the war drive

or to feed the country

no stone was left upturned

in the drive to rid the world of those

that seeked to destroy all that was good

Now they have both passed

into a world of rest

they have earned their place

along side others who gave

all they could

to protect our liberties

And so these reflections draw me to now

and the men and women who stand and serve

they too brave and steadfast

strong and resoloute in their duty

an yet

something has changed

there is a loss of resepct

understanding

support

for these fine brave people

who give their all for us

they ask for nothing in return

no medals no accolades

just the rightful respect they deserve

and yet

as I was reminded by the past

fighting in Burma as considered as

The Forgotten War

Their actions Their duties

left unnoted

their bravery their courage

unnoticed

and now it seems to be repeated

as fine young people

stand for civil liberties

in foreign countries

so I say this

why should the 11th Day

of the 11th Month

be the only day we remember them ?

shouldn't we remember them

EVERYDAY

and give thanks and respect

to those that stand and take

all that is thrown at them

and then in turn throw it back

and yet

come home to nurse a new born child

love their partner

they just like us are human

with loving kind hearts

whom feel pain shed tears

laugh smile

and give freely

perhaps we should stop

and think

lest we forget

Happy Remembrance Day

~X~

Have We Met ?

2013-10-16T04:25:00.000+01:00

Shimmers and Glimmers

hidden pathways

glowing from afar

as I step into the night

the path I follow

to where I do not know

but then

does it really matter

as long as it leads

to somewhere I belong

echoes amore

as I drift on by

lazy people

to drunk to merry

to go on home

lovers entwined

hand in hand

sharing nay stealing

the night fantastic

street lights aglow

as if spot lights

upon each stone

as I step over them so

into the dark they fade

cats glare from the gloom

their eyes a green

like emerald flames

cautious of my presence

as if I'm stealing there time

a dog runs on by

barking at the dark

I do not see what it is

but hes gone non the less

water laps from the river

and I hear upon my senses

the cold damp smell

of water running flowing

past the people that sleep so

hustle and bustle of the day

now gone

all locked up

the only reminders

wrappers and boxes

upon the pavement

of a days sales

be it fruit be it vegetables

the creatures own the night

and I feel like I am but a invader

do they trust me

for I know they see me

my eyes not like theirs

able to see in and beyond

the murky depths

birds nest upon the trees

no sonnets heard

but the rustle of leaves

as the breeze blows on by

taxis slowly drive on

hoping for a straggler

on their way home

but not me

I wave them on

a walk I'm taking

and the walk I will walk

breathing in the air

embracing the night

just to see

how different it is

scary yet friendly

no friend

no foe

only strangers

out walking

on a moonlit night

Hello

its been awhile

I know

Life has caught me up

took me places

I didn't know

funny how one can get lost

in a place so far

writing creating seemed so

poor

to want to present to you

after all you all deserve

so much more

reflection and pausing

its what I do best

but not for nearly 2 years

I hear you say

in a roundabout way

full circle Ive come

and here I am

to show to you

the path Ive taken

and where Ive ended up

so take a seat

and follow me so

some journey this will be

as walk into

the nether world

A dream but a dream

folded into a envelope

posted via the night sky

delivered right to your mind

as you lay surely sleeping

drifting on through

time space eternal

open the door step on through

welcome to the world of me

the sender

many hues of radient colours

all abound

with the echoes of all eternity

as you dance within the ether so

that is but the night time

stars as your lights

the moon in all her glow

your constant companion

as you twist and turn

shooting stars light the paths

that you do cross

a haze a blur

within this timeless motion

as your heart beats wildly

upon your breast so

your senses all alive

your eyes wide open

this is but our dream

as we dance together

hand in hand

within the velvet skies

Do You Hear:

2011-09-02T17:46:00.001+01:00

I cant slow down

I'm running wild

the heart of me

beating wildly

flowing to wherever you are

my cool waters

washing over my senses so

until there is only

the sun

a thousand million diamonds

twinkling on down

to where you may be

wash yourself within me

and emerge

as one

the moon lite cascades

down on me so

the stars my beacons

to the place I love the most

your being your all

your heart beats wildly

guiding me on through

pass thicket and thorn

to Kingfishers

to the Robin

each finding

their own way to feed

restless spirits run free

carefree of all

as shallow pools

fill with the image of you

each a memory

playing on an on

holding me in a tight rapture

until there is only

ever

you

hold me in your hands

feel me so

your see

your know

I am but for you

my silk caress

my soothing touch

a million billion particles

within written

I Love You

Delta Control: Ground Control To Major Tom:

2011-08-31T02:42:00.001+01:00

He said, She said

another word misconstrued

another line taken out of context

we did they did

who did really

do we really care any more

they say

its a dog eat dog world

but

I don't see any dogs

eating each other

I just see humans

ripping off another limb

to gorge their very self s

as the world spins ever faster

to a closer of nothing

people say

life is what you make it

well how can that be

when others take it

self gain self greed

fat cats sitting on mats

of stolen gold

the poor weep

and

the starving cry

oh the might..

don't cry at their plight

stop and your slow

might as well get off now

give it up

you showed emotion

and that makes you weak

here come the vultures

for their pound of flesh

they wont care

nor stop

your in their way

to that every lasting lunch

their 7 bags of silver in hand

a wry smile

they own the world

and all that's in it

who are we to pretend

we are anything more

we could make a stand

say No More

would they hear the cries

Capitol Hill

Parliament Square

perhaps, perhaps not

does it matter

when you have the mighty hand

to crush the rebellion

of those not appeased

we loose all we have

everyday

and the while

the earth keeps turning

until there is no where to turn

and the end comes

where will be your oil

your gold

your mansion in the hills

your egos and plastic surgeries

pool boys and maids

and teenage baby mommas

who cant survive

without the money

to feed their own babies

the drugs the lies

the schemes the scandals

the murders

and cover ups

all for what

nothing but dead silence

in a cold dark space

that is now your home
