Alex:
Thanks for your efforts in the InfoWar--but brother, you may need a vacation. Your decision to broadcast raw footage of your street level coverage on JustinTV may have been a grave mistake. As a film maker, I understand new media and applaud you for pushing the envelope of citizen journalism. But it soon became obvious that you were attempting to incite confrontations in order to film them and ultimately produce and market a sensational DVD.
It is one thing to be present and document events as they happen, but entirely another to become the event itself. That, my friend is not journalism--it is propaganda. Alex, you are extremely talented and better than this. Many of us,(perhaps even George Noory?) mistook you for a brave journalist and are quite disturbed to discover that you decided to turn your DNC effort to street theater. Really man, you seem stressed--take some time off to recharge and reconsider.

Okay. I am a product of the 1950's. I was in first grade at an Irish-Catholic school when JFK was assassinated. We hit our knees on word from Dallas. When MLK was gunned down, I was in sixth grade. Again we hit our knees and shortly thereafter we moved from racially-charged inner city Philadelphia. I know what it is like to put my faith and the faith of an entire generation in one man. One person who promises "change." One person who seeks to lead us into a new era. It never, ever works. There are forces beyong belief who will not allow real change to work. There are powerful people in very mighty positions who do not desire change. The status quo is quite nice, thank you. And these powerful persons must "sign off" on the next president. Look at who has suddenly shown up on the Obama train. Zbignew Brezezinski as Obama's foreign policy advisor is all the proof I need that the "Big O" is the Establishment's man. STOP LOOKING TO GOVERNMENT FOR SOLUTIONS-GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM! GROW UP. YES I AM SHOUTING...

Any cyclist who is worth their sweat knows Sheldon Brown. He never won the Tour de France or raced in the Olympics. He never rode a carbon fiber bicycle and didn't give a hoot about saving a kilogram on a seat post or slicing a few seconds off a time trial by wearing an aerodynamic bodysuit. Nope. Sheldon just loved to ride bicycles. Sheldon Brown died at 63.

I voted his morning. My wife Jill and I went together to our local precinct in Gilchrist county--one of the smallest counties in Florida, with more cows than people, and one full-time stoplight. I voted for Ron Paul. On a paper ballot. I am going to watch the county results closely and see if my vote is counted. Stay tuned.

According to my very un-scientific research (I asked a few friends), many of Rudy G.'s ardent supporters can't vote for him in next week's Florida GOP primary. Why? Because they are registered to vote in their home states of New York and New Jersey! They are what we affectionately refer to as "Snowbirds."

But, of course, Limbaugh buys illegal Oxycodone- using his immigrant maid as a front-like the wind bag coward he is. Okay, after months of debates and a few early primaries, it is clear that no mainstream Republican or Democratic presidential candidate has any intention-let alone a real plan- to end the meat grinder that is the Iraq war. Except Ron Paul. But Dr. Paul and his supporters are being painted as some kind of loony-bin sideshow. Imagine this, if you will--Dropping 500 lb. bombs on the heads of innocent Iraqi children is perfectly sane and acceptable to the American voter, but promoting an immediate U.S. troop withdraw and working towards long-term peace in Iraq is a crazy idea promoted by a bunch of Paulite Cultists? Peace and prosperity is now considered a "fringe" idea?

I am nine-year active duty Navy Veteran. I believe that the original footage of the Iranian speedboats "harassing" the U.S. warships that was released by the Pentagon is of questionable authenticity. Even the Washinton Post has doubts. If nothing else, the audio portion has been hacked to accommodate the Bush administration's bloodthirsty desire to bring thier never-ending war to Iran. This video is more likely the true chain of events--an Iranian officer is following naval protocol and having a civil exchange with the U.S. (Coalition??) Fleet. The most Patriotic action a citizen can take is to question the government. Especially a government that seems hell-bent on starting a (another) war. For a nonconformist like me, the presidential primary season has, so far, turned into a very satisfying punch-in-the nose to the Blessed Establishment's candidates!
How arrogant of Hillary and Romney to expect they are "entitled" to their respective party's nomination!
Mrs. Senator Clinton and Mr. Governor Romney are about to add yet another item to their highly promoted "experienced" resumes: the bitter experience of losing! The American people are simply not having it. The American voter is exhausted with the establishment--they are asking for REAL change. Authenticity and affability are the key to winning in 2008.

The Iowa Caucus has begun and the results are nowhere near final this early in the day. I don't think that Iowa will influence the eventual nomination choice of either party. But thank God-A-Mighty, it means that today we begin the selection process to replace the most despicable, incompetent, and mean-spirited person to ever steal the Presidency! It may take a generation to heal the wounds left on our nation by Bush and his band of megalomaniacs, but at least, for now, the Constitutional process of the orderly passage of governments has begun. Thank you Allah, Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, and all the small "g" eternal gods!
