Tomato Onion&amp;nbsp;chutney&amp;nbsp;goes very well as a&amp;nbsp;side dish with Idli, Dosa, Uttapam etc. Its a bit spicy and does not require coconut to be added. It could be made in advance and can be refrigerated for&amp;nbsp;3-4 days . 
All it needs is sautéing of onion and tomatoes and grinding it to a paste while your idli gets ready.

Appams/Rice pan cakes are synonymous to Kerala and has become an identity for Keralites although its very common in other parts of South India as well. The basic ingredient of any Appam are rice and coconut and then you just change the few ingredients of the appam.

Whenever I see raw mangoes,&amp;nbsp;it reminds me of the huge mango trees we had in our backyard when we used to&amp;nbsp;stay in MP. There were five ﻿of them, of different varieties.
