Youtube Optimization

Youtube Optimization Best Tips

Why Is Video Optimization Important?

Ten years ago, people began switching from newsprint and television to the Internet as their main source of news. Now video is the primary source of news for the public. Anyone can go online at any time to watch the highlights of the big game. At the same time, a person can learn how to knit a new scarf with video. Why is video important to the Internet marketing community?

Optimizing Your YouTube Channel:
Channel Settings
Title – Include your company name in the title
Visibility – Check the blip to make your channel visible
E-Mail Location – Check the box so others can find your channel via e-mail
Channel Tags – This is the most important part of channel optimization
Choose 3-5 keywords you want to target for your channel. Make sure these keywords are the same ones you use on your website and that they are relevant to your business
Separate each keyword using quotation marks. It should look like this:
“chicago internet marketing” “chicago web design” “chicago seo”
Channel Themes and Colors
This has no real bearing on the optimization
Choose a theme and colors that are similar to your website
Ex: http://www.moneypoke.blogspot.com This YouTube channel was modeled after our old website at http://www.moneypoke.blogspot.com
Modules – Any other modules are fine, but these three are necessary for optimization
Commenting
Subscriptions
Friends
Videos and Playlists
Always select the “My Uploaded Videos” option in the featured content box
Always set one of your videos as the featured video
Check the box to play your featured video automatically
Profile
Use your business name for the name
Use the exact URL to your website under the website section — this will be the only followable link you can obtain through YouTube
In your channel description, summarize the content of the channel, and include a link to your company’s Facebook or Twitter page (these will be nofollow links)
In the About Me section, it is important to give a brief description of the company using the targeted keywords
All other sections of the profile are great to have, but they will not help optimize the channel in any way

Optimizing Your YouTube Videos:
Content
Create high-quality, engaging video content
Choose video content related to the targeted keywords
Mention the targeted keywords in the script
Info and Settings
Video Title
Always include the word “video” at the end of the title
Include your company name in the title
Description
Include the company website URL at the beginning of the description
This will be a nofollow link
When users click on the video, the company URL will still show up in the video description without the expanded view
Mention the company name after the company URL
Include 3-5 keywords in the video description
Include links to the company Facebook and Twitter pages at the end of the video description
Tags – Very important for search engine optimization of videos
Choose 3-5 keywords you want to target.
Separate each keyword using quotation marks. It should look like this:
“chicago internet marketing” “chicago web design” “chicago seo”
Thumbnail
Choose a visually appealing thumbnail
This will make the video more inviting to viewers
Broadcasting and Sharing Options
Privacy – Set to public
License – Select the standard YouTube license
Comments – Allow
Comment Voting – Allow
Video Responses – Allow
Ratings – Allow
Embedding – Allow
Syndication – Allow
Captions and Subtitles – YouTube videos are converted into Java, which makes the content unable to be crawled by search engines. By uploading a caption file, you are giving Google a giant copy block to read.
Transcribe the video to a .txt file
Use periods and commas to signify breaks in speech
This will help Google’s voice recognition service to time the captions properly
If the video contains no speech, use the annotations feature to create a caption with a call to action for the company website or social networking page.
Make sure the timing is set on the annotation to give ample display time for the caption
Upload the transcript or caption file (processing can take several minutes)
Date and Map
Set the location to the company address

Promoting Your YouTube Videos:
Embed the videos in the company blog
Include a link to the YouTube URL
Embed the videos on the company website
Include a link to the YouTube URL
Syndicate the videos via social networking websites
Distribute the videos using http://www.moneypoke.blogspot.com
Find linking partners for the videos

Yahoo booter

Yahoo booter

Yahoo booter Aside from general chat, sexual innuendo, bots and annoying spam, Yahoo! Chat users today are also familiar with a common occurance known as booting, when a Yahoo! Messenger user kicks a chat room participant out with a specialized program. Yahoo booters, while effective in doing their job of booting users off the Yahoo! Messenger service, can lead to serious consequences for the software user and have led to a growing debate over their use. promotingimsafety/p/yahoo-booters.htm When a Yahoo Booter program is used, the victim's computer is sent massive amounts of packets, computer files with complex code which slow the PC down. As more packets arrive, IM windows flood the victim's desktop until either the user is kicked off Yahoo! Messenger, or the computer freezes.Yahoo booters are not illegal to possess, but can lead to your banning from the IM service if you are reported using booters, according to the Yahoo! Messenger Terms of Service. Furthermore, in some cases, law enforcement, including and not limited to the FBI, may investigate and result in criminal charges.

Search advertising

2011-09-25T11:09:00.001-10:00

In Internet Marketing, Search Advertising is a method of placing online advertisements on Web pages that show results from search engine queries. Through the same search-engine advertising services, ads can also be placed on Web pages with other published [1]. Search advertisements are targeted to match key search terms (called keywords) entered on search engines. This targeting ability has contributed to the attractiveness of search advertising for advertisers. Consumers will often use a search engine to identify and compare purchasing options immediately before making a purchasing decision. The opportunity to present consumers with advertisements tailored to their immediate buying interests encourages consumers to click on search ads instead of unpaid search results, which are often less relevant. Unpaid search results are also called organic results

Dollars per action

2011-09-25T11:08:00.000-10:00

Cost Per Action or CPA (sometimes known as Pay Per Action or PPA) is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement. Direct response advertisers consider CPA the optimal way to buy online advertising, as an advertiser only pays for the ad when the desired action has occurred. An action can be a product being purchased, a form being filled, etc. The desired action to be performed is determined by the advertiser. Radio and TV stations also sometimes offer unsold inventory on a cost per action basis, but this form of advertising is most often referred to as "per inquiry." The CPA can be determined by different factors, depending where the online advertising inventory is being purchased.

Ad text optimization

2011-09-25T11:07:00.000-10:00

Ad Text Optimization (ATO) is the process of improving the performance of a text Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertisement on search engines by improving its Click Through Rate (CTR) performance both in terms of volume and quality of response, that is “more buyers, less browsers”. ATO is an element of Search engine optimization, where the subject is discussed in greater detail. According to Search Engine Journal, “AdWords text ads are small and in some ways unassuming – when you think about testing landing pages it’s obvious that there are elements that could make a big impact, but it’s sometimes less intuitive that ad text tests can and often do have an equally big impact on resultsPPC Ads are triggered to appear on search engine pages when Users search with keywords which match those selected by the PPC Advertiser. When PPC Ads are clicked on they take the User through to a designated page on the advertiser’s website and a fee is paid to the search engine for the click. At the heart of Ad Text Optimization (ATO) lies a specialist type of direct response copywriting which can be augmented by an Ad Text Optimization (ATO) algorithm that measures the response effectiveness of Ad Text copy. For Users the benefit of ATO is to make PPC Ads more relevant to their searches. For advertisers ATO is delivers more clicks, leading to more sales and increased Return On Investment (ROI), and search engines benefit by offering their user customers more efficient search experiences.

Pay per click

2011-09-25T11:04:00.000-10:00

Pay per click (PPC) (also called Cost per click (CPC) ) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements are shown on web sites with related content that have agreed to show ads. This approach differs from the "pay per impression" methods used in television and newspaper advertising. In contrast to the generalized portal, which seeks to drive a high volume of traffic to one site, PPC implements the so-called affiliate model, that provides purchase opportunities wherever people may be surfing. It does this by offering financial incentives (in the form of a percentage of revenue) to affiliated partner sites. The affiliates provide purchase-point click-through to the merchant. It is a pay-for-performance model: If an affiliate does not generate sales, it represents no cost to the merchant. Variations include banner exchange, pay-per-click, and revenue sharing programs. Websites that utilize PPC ads will display an advertisement when a keyword query matches an advertiser's keyword list, or when a content site displays relevant content. Such advertisements are called sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to or above organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a web developer chooses on a content site.[1] Among PPC providers, Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and Microsoft adCenter are the three largest network operators, and all three operate under a bid-based model. [1] The PPC advertising model is open to abuse through click fraud, although Google and others have implemented automated systems[2] to guard against abusive clicks by competitors or corrupt web developers.

International money order

2011-09-25T11:01:00.001-10:00

An international money order is very similar in many aspects to a regular money order except that it can be used to make payments abroad. With it, a buyer can easily pay a seller for goods or services if he or she resides in another country. International money orders are often issued by a buyer's bank and bought in the currency that the seller accepts. International money orders are thought to be safer than sending currency through the post because there are various forms of identification required to cash an international money order, often including a signature and a form of photo identification. When purchasing an international money order, it is important to ensure that the specific type of money order is acceptable in the destination country. Several countries are very strict that the money order be on pink and yellow paper and have the words "international postal money order." In particular, the Japan Post (one of the largest banking institutions in the world) requires these features. Most other countries have taken this as a standard when there is any doubt of a document's authenticity.

Western union (money transfer shop)

2011-09-25T11:00:00.000-10:00

In the United States, money orders are typically sold by third parties such as the United States Postal Service, grocery stores, and convenience stores. Some financial service companies such as banks and credit unions may not charge for money orders to their clients. Money orders remain a trusted financial instrument. In 2005, 889 million money orders were purchased in the United States for a gross transaction volume of $145 billion. (source: Federal Reserve). However, just because a particular business can issue a money order does not necessarily mean that they will cash them. Postal Money Orders (PMOs) are generally regarded as one of the most difficult financial documents to counterfeit. Watermarks. Telltale watermark when held up to the light should reveal images of Benjamin Franklin, repeated on the left side (top to bottom). Dark security strip running alongside the watermark (top to bottom), just to the right. If held to the light, a microfiber strip will show tiny letters "USPS" along its length, facing backward and forward. Rainbow of inked patterns and tones. PMOs are printed on crisp, clean, textured paper stock. Maximum value of $1000 for domestic (US) postal money orders, and $700 for International Postal Money Orders. Denominations appear in two locations. If the denomination amounts are discolored, that indicates that they have been erased. Ultraviolet features include the above mentioned micro-fiber strip that glows red, and the PMO number on the reverse side and the bottom which will also appear red under UV light. [edit] Counterfeiting Due to the increased public awareness of fraudulent US Postal Money Orders, counterfeiters are using these US Postal and other companies' (see above) money orders to dupe their victims. By obtaining their "mark's" postal zip code, they will draft bogus money orders based on whichever franchises will most likely be in their victim's home area as the familiarity of the store's name offers a sense of security. Furthermore, money orders are subject to erasing the name and writing in somebody else's name. Money order fraud is specifically not reimbursed by Western Union and the victim is required to go through local police to attempt to recover lost funds. In response, the perpetrator who cashed the money order can simply claim "identity theft" to the investigating detective. Money orders for this purpose can be obtained from places like rent drop boxes.

Milaap social enterprise

2011-09-25T10:59:00.000-10:00

Milaap is a social enterprise that enables anyone around the world to lend money online to the working poor in India through their website http://www.milaap.org. Based in Bangalore, India, with its headquarters at Singapore, Milaap is the world’s first[4] and currently, the only online microlending platform that facilitates this. Milaap's loans are aimed towards providing people with access to basic essentials like clean drinking water, sanitation, vocational training with guaranteed jobs, apart from enterprise development. Microcredit, traditionally aimed at entrepreneurs, tends to have high interest rates because Microfinance institutions (MFIs) that fund these loans borrow from banks at high interest rates. Besides, loans for basic necessities like sanitation, drinking water and vocational training are not easily available as they need to be at low interest rates. By sourcing funds from individuals all over the world, Milaap has been able to eliminate the need for their partners MFIs to borrow from banks. Thus, the end-borrowers get to avail low-cost loans. Milaap and its field partners (NGOs and MFIs) facilitate and disburse the loans from online lenders to the borrowers. The loans are given out to borrowers at interest rates of 12-18%[5] (50% lower than existing interest rates available to microcredit borrowers.) After the loan has been repaid, it will be returned to lenders as Milaap credits which they can either withdraw or re-lend to other borrowers.

Head hunting

2011-09-25T10:46:00.003-10:00

Headhunting is the practice of taking a person's head after killing them. Headhunting was practised in historic times in parts of China, India, Nigeria, Nuristan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Borneo, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Micronesia, Melanesia, New Zealand, and the Amazon Basin, as well as among certain tribes of the Celts and Scythians of ancient Europe. In fact, it occurred in Europe until the early 20th century in the Balkan Peninsula and to the end of the Middle Ages in Ireland and the border regions of England and Scotland.[1] More recently, it has been practised in World War II and the Vietnam War. As a practice, headhunting has been the subject of intense discussion within the anthropological community as to its possible social roles, functions, and motivations. Themes that arise in anthropological writings about headhunting include mortification of the rival, ritual violence, cosmological balance, the display of manhood, cannibalism, and prestige. Contemporary scholars generally agree that its primary function was ceremonial and that it was part of the process of structuring, reinforcing, and defending hierarchical relationships between communities and individuals. Some experts theorize that the practice stemmed from the belief that the head contained "soul matter" or life force, which could be harnessed through its capture.

Jackie (magazine)

2011-09-25T10:40:00.002-10:00

Jackie was a weekly British magazine for girls. The magazine was published by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd of Dundee from 11 January 1964 until its closure on 3 July 1993—a total of 1534 issues. The name was chosen from a list of girls' names, although it was nearly dropped due to the association with Jackie Kennedy following her husband's assassination in 1963. An urban legend exists that it was named after Jacqueline Wilson who worked there at the time, before she became a notable children's author. Although the author has attempted to perpetuate this claim,[1] this has been denied by those who were involved in the launch. Ex-RAF Engine Fitter Gordon Small was the first editor. TV critic Nina Myskow was a former editor. Jackie was the best-selling teen magazine in Britain for ten years, with sales rising from an initial 350,000 to 605,947 in 1976.[2] The best ever selling issue was the 1972 special edition to coincide with the UK

Internet marketting

2011-09-25T10:36:00.000-10:00

Internet marketing, also known as digital marketing, web marketing, online marketing, search marketing or e-marketing, is referred to as the marketing (generally promotion) of products or services over the Internet. iMarketing is used as an abbreviated form for Internet Marketing [1] Internet marketing is considered to be broad in scope[1] because it not only refers to marketing on the Internet, but also includes marketing done via e-mail and wireless media.[2] Digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management (ECRM) systems are also often grouped together under internet marketing.[3] Internet marketing ties together the creative and technical aspects of the Internet, including design, development, advertising, and sales.[4] Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along many different stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), banner ads on specific websites, email marketing, mobile advertising, and Web 2.0 strategies.[citation needed] In 2008, The New York Times, working with comScore, published an initial estimate to quantify the user data collected by large Internet-based companies. Counting four types of interactions with company websites in addition to the hits from advertisements served from advertising networks, the authors found that the potential for collecting data was up to 2,500 times per user per month.[

Search Engine Optimiztion

2011-09-25T10:34:00.003-10:00

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search,[1] news search and industry-specific vertical search engines. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic. The acronym "SEOs" can refer to "search engine optimizers," a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site and site content, SEO tactics may be incorporated into website development and design. The term "search engine friendly" may be used to describe website designs, menus, content management systems, images, videos, shopping carts, and other elements that have been optimized for the purpose of search engine exposure.

Banking in United State

2011-09-25T10:16:00.000-10:00

The U.S. banking sector's short-term liabilities as of October 11, 2008 are 15% of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the United States or 43% of its national debt, and the average bank leverage ratio (assets divided by net worth) is 12 to 1.Bank regulation in the United States is highly fragmented compared with other G10countries, where most countries have only one bank regulator. In the U.S., banking is regulated at both the federal and state level. Depending on the type of charter a banking organization has and on its organizational structure, it may be subject to numerous federal and state banking regulations. Unlike Japan and the United Kingdom (where regulatory authority over the banking, securities and insurance industries is combined into one single financial-service agency), the U.S. maintains separate securities, commodities, and insurance regulatory agencies—separate from the bank regulatory agencies—at the federal and state level. The U.S also has one of the most highly-regulated banking environments in the world, focusing on privacy, disclosure, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, anti-usury lending and the promotion of lending to lower-income populations. Some individual cities also enact their own financial regulation laws (for example, defining what constitutes usurious lending). Since the enactment of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act of 1989 (FDICIA), all commercial banks that accept deposits are required to obtain FDIC insurance and to have a primary federal regulator (the Fed for state banks that are members of the Federal Reserve System, the FDIC for "nonmember" state banks, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for all National Banks). Federal credit unions are regulated by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA); Savings & Loan Associations (S&L) and Federal savings banks (FSB) are regulated by the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS).
