When you have two excel processes running you have two instances. I will show you how to open two or more instances of excel.

Open the first instance

You can either do it by double clicking on an excel file or by clicking on program short cut. You have to open the required file as given below in the later way.

Now we can open a new instance by right clicking on the excel icon in the task bar as shown below

Now you have a new instance of excel. Open new file in this excel so that you can drag this as you like.

Displaying messages is deprecated in windows 8 Task scheduler. Don't worry!!! we can get it back in few simple steps.

Launch the Task scheduler from

Start -> Apps -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> Administrative Tools ->Task Scheduler

Create a folder for your tasks if you have not created yet.

Click on 'Create a task' from the right side menu

Now task creator has lauched..
In general tab, give a name and description for your task.

Click on triggers and click on new. Give details of the schedule there

Click on action

Here you have a problem....!! display a message task in deprecated in windows 8. So what to do????

Select run a program itself, and give details as given below. You can replace MyMsg with anything.

Click ok and again ok, if you dont want to give any additional conditions. Your task to display a message is done.

Calculating percentage of a number is very simple,

If I got 42 out of 50 marks in my exam, How much percentage of marks did I get?

Marks scored= 42
Total marks=50

Percentage of marks = (Marks scored/Total marks)*100

That is, (42/50)*100=0.84*100= 84%

In the same way you can calculate percentage of any fraction.

How to find square root of large numbers manually?

Actually there is no direct way to find out the square root of a number.

Most commonly used method is guess and multiply method

If I want to calculate the square root of 1764, I know the square root of 1600 in 40, and 1764 is very close it it. When i guess 43 as the square root, 43*43= 1849, It is too high.
Let us try 42 then, 42*42=1764, Oh!! we got it.

Most of the time you way need to do more number of iteration.

Another method id to factorize the number,This is the way I learned in lower grade school,
Let's take the same example,
First of all, Factorization is done as given in the picture below,

The number will be divided by smallest divisible again and again

Now I can write 1764=2*2*3*3*7*7

Then, square root of 1764 is as same as the square root of (2*2*3*3*7*7), Now things are so simple.

As you know square root of 2*2 =2, In the same way, we can take one number out of each pair and multiply,

Then square root of 1764 = 2*3*7=42

If the number is not a square of a whole number, you will get a 2, 3, or 5 (prime number) without a pair,

For example square root of 20 is square root of (2*2*5), here 5 is alone, Then you can write only as square root of 20 is 2*(square root of 5)

So must know square root of some small prime numbers.

Makara jyothi is a fire is lit by TDB on the makara joyothi day at ponnambala medu. With the help of forest department, KSEB and Kerala police. It will be seen from shabarimala as a star. Ponnambala medu is at a height of 1170m and shabarimala is at a height of 544m above MSL.

Everyone have starting problem with windows 8. A lot of people are searching for the start button in windows 8. You can get the start menu by pressing win button on by taking the mouse pointer bottom or top right corner. You will get it as given below.

In the start menu you will see a lot of tales in the start menu. All the programs that is pinned to the start menu will be there. You can pin your favorite programs here.

To see the list of all programs in windows 8 what you have to do from the start menu is just a right click. (Make sure that mouse pointer is not on any tales.) When you right click you will get the link to all aplications as you can see in the below image

A:
vi editor is the most powerful editor I have ever seen. It has a lot of options and commands. You can learn all about vi editor in Linux terminal itself. Just type vimtutor and give enter. It will open a tutorial in vi editor itserlf!!!

To quit from vi editor, you just have to press esc and then :q
If you had made any changes to the text it wont quit with previous command. Here if you want to discard the changes you have made, then you have to press esc and then :q!
Or if you want to want to keep the changes you hve made, then you have to type esc and then :wq

Things you type after an esc and ':'will appear in the bottom left corner.

Simple !!!
Download and install Y-Browser(It is a freeware) and then you can browse any where in your phone using the Y-Browser.

Keep the files you want to hide from the gallery in the folder named _PAlbTN, then it wont come in your gallery.

Note that Y-Browser will not come in the Installation folder. It will be in the main home itself.

A:
Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 is a fantastic Desktop Email client, It normally will give you a popup alert when new mail comes. But when you add new folders and rules the default behavior may change. Here I would teach you how to configure alerts for all mail you receive. Even in all folders and sub folders.

First go to file-> info-> Manage rules and alerts

Then start with a new rule

Start with Apply rule on messages I receive and then click next

do not select any thing in the next window and click next

Click yes on the popup window, It says the rule is going to apply for all incoming messages

Scroll for display a Desktop Alert box and check it and then finish. You are done you will get alerts for all incoming mail including those mails coming to folders and sub folders. You have a better option as I use. Read further for that option.

Check the box with "display a specific message ....." also along with "Desktop alert" as you can see below.

Then click on specific message and type what ever message you want to get popped up and click ok.

Confirm the same in the window and click on finish

Now you will get two type of popups, One is a Desktop alert and it will fade within seconds. The mail alert will not fade at all. You will notice that you a got mails whenever turn your eyes towards the monitor after getting a mail

We can add two additional clocks of different time zones in windows 8 as well as in windows 7. The procedure is quite simple.

Click on the date in the desktop corner

Click on time and date settings

Click on additional clocks

Add two additional clocks of time zones you wish to. and give appropriate name also. Don't forget to check show the clock box

Your clocks are set. Now you have two additional clocks

If you want to disable the Clocks you just go to the previous window as shown below and uncheck the Show the clock box

Kallummakkaya fry and Sulanimani

Kallummakkaya fry is a mouth watering dish of Kerala, especially in Malabar side. How To Create and Remember Strong Passwords

There are some simple rules about strong passwords. Let us just review them,

1. Password should be long
2. Password should contain lower and upper letters, numbers and special characters.
3. You should not use same password for all accounts
4. Password should not be your name
5. Password should not contain username
6. Password should not be your phone number or any number related to you
7. Password should not be name of your friends, spouse, parents of any one related to you
8. You should change your password at least in every 6 months
9. You should not write your passwords down in a paper and keep it
10. Password should not be simple key combinations on the keyboard like asdfgh
11. Password should not be common words like password, welcome, etc
12. It should not be any of the above in reverse as well.

So, the question is..

If I create such complex and strong passwords for my accounts, how do I remember them?
If you are going to use only your personal machine, you can install a password manager to remember your password. Then its the password manager not you remembering your passwords and if you want to log in to any of your account out side your computer, you are stuck. So you should go for an alternative method

There is a method that people use,
That is,
Prepare different password with all combinations and strengthening method for different accounts and apend them with a common combination. Write and keep the the first part and remember the second common part.
But i don't recommend this method since you have a record with your passwords and if your second part get exposed then everything is gone

Here is a better method to create and remember strong complicated passwords.

Here we are making a manual encryption method to secure your passwords.

I will show you how to make an encryption method with the following example

First, I will create a chart like this:

This just an example chart you have to make your own. First column has number 1 to 26, second column has letters a-z, third column has a-z shuffled (just shuffle, no logic in it) and fourth column has special characters shuffled (here also just write characters you like).

Now create a plan for encrypting

In this example I would create a plane like this, first letter will be a lower case letter, second a number, third an upper case letter, forth a lowercase letter, fifth a special character and rest will be lower case letters.

Now I will create a may basic password for facebook as,

j1Fo@eer

Did you understand what did I do?

I have just encrypted facebook using my plan

j for f -lower case as it is the first one

1 for a -number as it is the second one

F for c - upper case as it is the third one

o for e - lower case as it is the forth one

@ for b - special character as it is the fifth one

e for o - lower case beyond five

r for k - lower case beyond five

Now I will put some salt in it. I will put same salt in all of my passwords.
I am going to put a #3 in the beginning and a F1 at the end of all my passwords, now the I have my facebook password as,
"#3j1Fo@eerF1" without quotes. Is not it complex? yes it is complex and strong

Do I have to write it any where? No just have to keep the chart and remember my policy of encryption. And the salt also. It is actually simple as see the complexity of the password.

You can even tell your password to your friends, They will not remember it for sure. To change your password, you can just change the salt for in six months and you can renew your chart once in five years.
