The boy who 'went to heaven'

“MANY people all over the world would love for this to be their worst day.”
It’s tough advice from your dad to contemplate when your six-year-old has been left paralysed and fighting for life after a car crash you caused.
Incredibly, father of four Kevin Malarkey has not only seen more good come out of the horrific accident that almost cost his son’s life – but if he had his time again, he would not change a thing.
The story of Alex Malarkey, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven, has not only made the New York Times’ best seller list, but has attracted interest from people around the world, particularly in Australia.
After hearing of his plight on the internet, people as far away as Afghanistan began praying for the little boy who suffered the most severe spinal injury, a broken pelvis and traumatic brain injury.
In layman’s terms, Alex suffered an internal decapitation – his skull became detached from his spinal cord. In medical terms, he should have died.
“The vertebrae were completely detached,” Alex’s doctor, Dr Raymond Onders, writes in the book.
“The tendon sheath around the spinal column was severed near the base of his brain. The injury was so severe and so high on the spinal column, it is simply incredible Alex survived.”
Alex not only survived but became the first child in the world to receive the “Christopher Reeve” surgery, allowing him to breathe without a ventilator.
But the story goes much beyond that.
In the book, Alex, who was in a coma for two months, tells of going to heaven, seeing angels carry his father out of the car wreck, meeting and talking with Jesus, and hearing the most incredible music.
“When I arrived in heaven, I was inside the gate. The gate was really tall, and it was white,” Alex says in his account in the book.
“It was very shiny, and it looked like it had scales like a fish. I was in the inner heaven and everything was brighter and more intense on the inside of the gate. It was perfect.
“Perfect is my favourite word for describing heaven.”
It’s an account which even his father, a well educated man and the son of a clinical research director, struggled to believe at first.
“When he first started talking about it, I thought he had brain damage,” Kevin told the Daily from his Ohio home.
While Kevin has no memory of the accident itself, his son tells of talking to Jesus from above as he watched firemen take his young body out of the car and put him on a flat board.
He describes his dad screaming, “Alex, Alex, Alex,” and then later making a phone call and going over to the helicopter to talk to the man in a blue suit.
In the book, his mother corrects him, saying it was probably an orange suit. But checks later with the helicopter crew reveal the guy was wearing a blue suit.
Alex’s story makes for compelling reading, but the book may never have been written were it not for an Associated Press reporter who urged Kevin to put pen to paper after covering Alex’s surgery story.
Kevin says his son was at first reluctant to be involved in the book because he did not want to be the centre of attention.
And Alex says much of what he saw in heaven, he had been told he could not even tell his father about.
“We probably only know about 10% of what he knows. I think he is very protective about it.”
Of course, there have been plenty who have canned the book, with some accusing Kevin of ‘being a nut job’ or, worse, trying to cash in on his son’s incredible story.
But the book is far from “up in the clouds”.
In it, Kevin, a trained counsellor, details how his own marriage took a hammering through the crisis, how his personal faith was continually tested, and details one incident where he completely lost it with a doctor.
In the years since the 2004 accident, Alex has made remarkable progress. He can now stand in a supportive frame and with the help of a special harness can walk on a treadmill while helpers move his legs.
Alex loves watching sports and cheering for his favourite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Asked whether he believes his son will ever walk again, Kevin replies, “Absolutely. Why not?”
He says his son’s journey has already been a series of miracles.
Even if never walks again, he says, “I know one thing about Alex. Alex will impact the world for good.”
“Of all of my four kids, I worry the least about Alex.”

Justin Bieber's hair makes 25,000 pounds on eBay

A lock of Justin Bieber's hair has been sold for $40,668 (£25,024) in a charity sale on Ebay.

Bieber gave the piece of hair to US talkshow host Ellen Degeneres, having changed his trademark swept style in February.
There were 98 bids in total with bidding for the hair, which came in a signed box, closing on Thursday.
The money raised will be go to a charity which rescues and rehabilitates animals.
The star, whose film Never Say Never was released in February, turned 17 on 1 March.
He recently was knocked off top spot in the US billboard chart by UK singer Adele.

How to delete Undeletable files/folders

Did u ever try to delete a file or a folder and got ‘Access Is Denied’ error? Or while copying a file it gives ‘The Source File May Be In Use’ error. These types of errors can occur due to many different reasons, maybe the file is being used by the operating system or some other program, or maybe you do not have administrator privileges.

If you get an “Access is Denied” error while accessing a folder
then it means the administrator has not allowed you permission to access it. If you are not an
Administrator then you will probably never be able to fix this error. But if you are an Administrator and receiving this problem then there is a software called Unlocker that is going to come in handy.

Unlocker can remove handles form files, handles like when a folder refuses to let the program terminate properly and it still doesn't let you do anything with the file/folder like renaming, deleting or moving.

How to Easily Unlock Your Branded Blackberry Mobile Device

Unlocking your BlackBerry Mobile Device will allow you to use a GSM/EDGE/3G BlackBerry on a different network than it was originally purchased for. To do this, you would need a code to unlock your Blackberry phone. After you unlock your branded Blackberry phone, you can easily insert any SIM card of whichever network carrier. For example, after unlocking, you can use an MTN sim on a Glo Banded Blackberry phone.
Buying an unlocked phone can be a safer (though more expensive) alternative to unlocking a phone yourself. Our aim is to help people do online business even from the comfort of their Blackberry phones using any network carried they have. And to achieve this, it is good to we share this information with you.
How do I determine if my BlackBerry is unlocked?
To determine if your BlackBerry is “unlocked”, follow these steps:
1. On your BlackBerry, go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Sim Card.
2. On that screen type MEPD on your Blackberry keypad. A new menu will pop up. If your BlackBerry has a SureType keyboard (71-series and 81-series devices) you will need to double-tap the P, so the actual keys entered become M E P P D.
3. Look for Network in the list.
4. If your device is “unlocked”, you should see Disabled or Inactive. If it reads Active, this means your blackberry is still locked.

How to Obtain the Unlock code for your BlackBerry
First, you will need to know your Blackberry IMEI number. To do this, please type *#06# on phone’s keypad (* asterisk) to see IMEI number. You may also view IMEI by pushing Cap + ALT + H keys on the keypad. The IMEI number is 15 digits. OR go to Options -> Status on your Blackberry. The IMEI may also be found on the white sticker under the battery (sometimes hard to read–make sure you read it right!). Also, most network carriers will give you the unlock code for your Blackberry.
The reason why you need your IMEI number is that, to get the unlock code, you would be required for the IMEI number. The number is unique to each Blackberry phone.
You can purchase the unlock code from various vendors. Unlock codes are particular to each BlackBerry. They cannot be used from one BB to the next. Unlock codes can take up to 4 hours or 10 days to obtain. Please note: Some BlackBerry can’t be unlocked for a reason because their unlock cannot be found in the RIM database, or the device was a pre-release, not-to-be-sold device.
I can help you generate your Blackberry Mobile Device unlock code if you really need it. To get your Blackberry Mobile device unlock code, simply send an SMS with your Full Name, Phone Model, 15 digit IMEI Number and Email Address to 08069039993 or 08072694215. Once I get your SMS, I will reply you almost immediately with the next thing you need to do.
Once you have your unlock code, proceed to these steps:
NOTE: Make sure you follow these or the instructions offered with your unlock code, correctly. If you enter the unlock code incorrectly five times, the device will permanently lock to the network carrier to which it is branded. Also, You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps (Can be active or inactive)
Blackberry Storm1 and Storm2 (9500, 9520, 9530, 9550) Unlock Code Entry Instructions
1. Turn off all of the wireless connections
2. Go to the Options icon on the device
3. Select Advanced Options
4. Select SIM Card
5. Click the Menu key to select Show Keyboard
6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)(enter just the mepd, no spaces, etc.)
7. Enter the letters: mep2
8. Now you will see ‘enter network mep code’
9. Enter the code given you, usually about 16 digits
10. Your Storm is now unlocked.
Blackberry Torch (9800) Unlock Code Entry Instructions
1. Turn off all of the wireless connections
2. Go to the Options icon on the device
3. Select Device
4. Select Advanced System Settings (at the bottom of the page)
5. Select Sim Card
6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)(enter just the mepd, no spaces, etc.)
7. Enter the letters: mep2
8. Now you will see ‘enter network mep code’
9. Enter the code given you, this code is 11 digits.
10. Your Torch is now unlocked.

Blackberry 96xx / 93xx / 9000 / 97xx / 8900 / 88xx / 83xx Curve Unlock Code Entry Instructions
How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 9000, 9700, 8900, 88xx, 83xx Curve:
1. Go to settings menu => and then Options
2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
5. You should be presented with a prompt “Enter Network MEP Code”. Type in the unlock code and press in the trackball/trackpad to confirm
6. Your phone is now unlocked
Blackberry 9100 / 81xx / 8200 Unlock Code Entry Instructions
This will not work on the 9105 model, see the 9105 section for instructions.
1. Insert SIM into device
2. Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option) VERY IMPORTANT.
3. Select “Options” THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
4. Scroll down and select “SIM Card”
5. Type “MEPPD” (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
6. Type “MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2″ (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
7. Enter the Unlock Code
8. Press enter
9. Reboot device. Device is now unlocked.
Blackberry 9105 Unlock Code Entry Instructions
1. Turn off the Wireless Radio
2. Next go to Settings > Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card
3. Press: 63373
4. Press: 63372
5. You should see a dialogue where you can put in a 16 digit code and 10 tries to punch it in correctly.
6. After you enter in the code, press Enter.
7. It should say “Device Unlocked” and you have an unlocked Blackberry.
Blackberry 8700 Unlock Code Entry Instructions
1. Go to settings
2. go to options
3. go to advanced options
4. go to sim card
5. Type MEPD (not case sensitive) (you will not see text appear on screen while typing)
6. Does it say Network active? If so your phone is locked.
7. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE (not case sensitive, and you will not see text appear on screen while typing)
8. It will say “Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the jog dial to confirm.
9. Your phone is now unlocked
BlackBerry 6xxx 7xxx: ie 6230, 7100, 7290 etc. Unlock Code Instructions
1. Select Options menu on BB.
2. Select SIM CARD menu. To be able to see this you have to type this on the keypad on phone : (TEXT WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN until you enter the unlock code)
3. Type ‘MEPD’ for all models, except 7100 in which case in case use ‘MEPPD’.
4. Usually you should see “active” NET lock. In order to disable this lock, type ‘MEP2′ respectively (‘MEPP2′ if phone is 7100)
5. The BB will ask for a code. NOTE: You must use the “alt” or “shift” key to enable numbers so example would be: m-e-p-”alt key”-2 Now you should see the place to enter your net unlock code.(if not, you didn’t type in mep2 or mepp2 properly.)
6. Here you must enter the “NET Unlock Code” that you have.

played on any Web page or site that
supports embedding content. Google
will give you the code, and you just
need to copy and paste.
The first step is to press the button.
Now, this is only visible on the
YouTube watch page for that video,
NOT on the channel page. That's an
important distinction. If you see a link
that says "View comments, related
videos, and more" below the video,
click on it, and that will take you to
the watch page.
If you want to insert your own video,
then sign up for a YouTube account.
Then upload video in your account and
get the embed code.
Next, you're going to click on the
embed link. It used to be located on
the right side on the watch page, but
it has been moved below the video.
For example,if you want to embed a
Lady Gaga video,search it and copy
the embed code on to a windows
notepad or anything else.
The following process is explained
below with pictures for easy
understanding.
Copy the embeded code(ctrl+c) and
paste(ctrl+v) it in windows notepad.
NOTE:You can change the width and
height of the video by replacing the
values to your desirable ones before
copying the embed code as illustrated
in the picture above.
Next, Sign in to your blogger account
and click the New Post button and
next,select the option 'Edit html' as
shown below and paste the html code
as shown below.
Publish the post. You can Preview
before publishing.
Note, you must have FLASH
PLAYER installed in your browser for

While using Google today, I found out that one can use the Google Search Engine to perform mathematical calculations. Interesting, isn't it?

Well, to give it a try, go to Google now. In the search box, type or copy and paste 20+30 and click search. You will see the result.

You can also use it for complex calculations. Type or copy and paste 5*9+(sqrt 10)^3= in the search box and click search.

The Facebook Like/Recommendation button lets a blog visitors to share your content with friends on Facebook. When the visitor clicks the Like/Recommendation button on your blog, a story appears in the user's Facebook friends' News Feed with a link back to your website.

There are two Like button implementations: XFBML and Iframe. This tutorial explains the use of the XFBML version of the Recommendation button. Google Webmasters: How To Add your blog/site to Google Search Listings

At "Google Webmaster Central", you can submit your blog or website to Google for listing in search results. You can get data about crawling, indexing and search traffic of your blog or website. More so, you will receive notifications about problems on your site.
When your blog or website is ready:

Submit it to Google at http://www.google.com/addurl.html.
Submit a Sitemap using Google Webmaster Tools. Google uses your Sitemap to learn about the structure of your site and to increase our coverage of your webpages.
Make sure all the sites that should know about your pages are aware your site is online and have been updated. You can simply be doing this by Pinging your blog.

You have to be aware of the fact that Google can ban your blog/ website from the search engine listings if you fail to abide by the Google webmasters guidelines.
