I came across this poem and I thought I would share!
Before I was a Mom
Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mom -
I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests...or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life
so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

I had a great time seeing you guys again. Little "Z" was absolutely adorable. I loved the dancing to .....du.ta du.tadu Dora....... :) That was great. Also she totally cracked me up not liking the grass. You will always remember that. I remember Ella was petrified of the sand. I can still picture her whole body curling and cringing so she didn't have to touch it. We have some great pictures. I will be in touch very soon!!

You know I absolutely love new born baby photo sessions....especially when they are so so so so brand new!!! It is so amazing the memories and the feelings that come flooding back to you when you hold a new sweet baby. Little Miss D certainly is full of sweetness. She is precious. I swear when she was awake, she was so alert. I thought she was going to smile at me. (he he) I had a great time sharing the afternoon with you. I am so happy for you both.....She is an angel.

I had such a great time seeing you all again, meeting your newest addition, and meeting so many of your extended family. That was quite the project you pulled of darling. Organizing large/multiple photo sessions like that and balancing your boys is hard. You did awesome and everyone will appreciate that you set it all up. Well, here are my babies. It isn't often that I edit photos of my kids, but Ella was quite the model. I had to play with these photos right away. Noa was not as into it as Ella, she was quite a little ham. I can't believe how grown up they are. Time goes by so fast. It really does.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing one of my best friend's wedding. It was amazing, beautiful, freezing, and an absolute great time. It was so great to see you so happy and so in love. You are absolutely stunning. I love looking at the pictures of you both together because when you are together you see a "love glow" come to your faces. You know I love my maternity sessions on the beach. It is just so natural and relaxing just the way a mom and a new baby naturally fit. You my darling......will be no exception. You are going to be an amazing mom. I can't wait to meet him. I had such a great time with you both. We had the one great night in between all of these cold, frigid, rainy ones. Look at this sweet, little angel who decided to grace us 4 weeks early. Thank goodness we did our Maternity shoot when we did! :o) This little guy is so precious and so so so tiny!!!! Oh I could just go on and on about him. I truly enjoyed our time together this weekend. Your little man is wonderful and such a blessing.

This was a great day. Little "Miss A" was ADORABLE and full of smiles. Little "Miss M" was a MAGNIFICENT MODEL. .....And Little "Mr. A" was an AEROBIC WORKOUT!!!
