Disney has a new vampire show on the way called Forever Boys. Cast pic is below, so as you can probably guess, True Blood this will not be!

Lair of the White Worm is getting a Blu-Ray release on the 31st january... BD has a nice feature on it here.

There is news of Nina Dobrev returning for the Vampire Diaries finale here.

Vampirella is still churning out new comic editions. There is a good look at the upcoming editions here.

Bleeding Cool has news of a new comic.... Redneck features vampires running a local bbq joint.

There is a new short film compilation out called Bloody Bits which has at least one vampire short in there, judging by the artwork. Also in there is a film called Tasha and Friends that we saw at the Bram Stoker Film festival last year, which is worth a mention. Not vamp, but it is damned funny!

Something for fans of vampires on stage in Arizona... Hercules vs Vampires is getting a run in Arizona Opera's 2017-2018 season.

Not the kind of product we would like to promote too much on this blog, but someone has come up with Garlic and Holy Water soap for keeping vampires at bay.

Another stage productions announced, this one for our friends in Australia... Mandurah performing Arts Centre is going to do a production of Dracula

With Penny Dreadful suffering a very untimely and sudden demise, there is a little life left in the franchise yet... with a sequel in graphic novel form being released.

New TV series on the way called The Passage... major studio involved and Fox have ordered a pilot.

Possible new vampire film, with vampire mermaids. They have teeth and bite, at least. The Lure is set for limited release in New York in February.

The next Sims 4 game release is going to have loads of vampire goodies, with a game pack just for vampires.

Mixed reviews for the latest Underworld film keep rolling in... find them here and here and here. Kate Beckinsale and Theo James talk about the film here.

Sad news to start with, Night Stalker creator Jeff Rice has died.

New game news here, one that looks really nice. One Night Ultimate Vampire is sat on kickstarter wanting a little lifeblood to get going. Detailed video for the game is here.

There is news of a new Blu-Ray and Digital HD and 4k release of Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula here.

There is an addition to the Adventure Time series, looking at Marceline the Vampire Queen.

The Los Angeles Opera is doing a special Dracula performance this Halloween... details are here. A theater in Fort Knox is also doing a run of Dracula this august, details here.

There is a casting update for Underworld 5 here... Theo James getting a major role.

This is one to save to your favorites... a new horror film streaming service from AMC Networks is called Shudder, and it has a vampire section... no films in there yet, but a vampire section means there will be, surely?

Hotel Transylvania 2 has released a family portrait here. The film is out September 25th.

Here's some big news... Fright Night director Tom Holland is working on a new vampire film called Fresh Blood.

Fresh Blood tells the story of a group of teenage vampires who kidnap a bus driver and his daughter to attend a concert. Extinction writer Juan de Dios Garduño is working with both Holland and Fernando Martin Samper on the screenplay with the aim of creating something in the spirit of eighties-style Lost Boys and Fright Night.

A Dracula, A Place Among the Undead, Ludo

Some music news first... LA band Demon Lung have a new album out called A Dracula inspired by 1978 Mexican vampire film Alucarda.

This looks like something nice for anyone playing vampire RPG's... Worlds of Pulp Vampire Construction Tables

Here's some news... Juliet Landau aka Drusilla is working on a documentary called "A Place Among the Undead"

Landau has already filmed interviews with "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon, "Interview with a Vampire" writer Anne Rice, "Dracula" star Gary Oldman, "Dark Shadows" director Tim Burton and many more, exploring the metaphors each of them use for vampirism.

New film news here... Ludo is an Indian film that has a reference to fanged women, so may well be a vampire film of sorts.
