NEW FILM - Undying Love is a new one on the way from Warner bros. Joe Carnahan has been named as director.

Described as “equal parts vampire mythology and Chinese folklore,” Undying Loveunfolds in modern-day Hong Kong. Former military man John Sargent falls in love with a beautiful woman named Mei, who just so happens to be a vampire. In order for the lovers to be together, Sargent must face off against her creator. Unfortunately, he’s one of the most powerful vampires of all time, and is protected by an army of mobsters.

ok, i'll start tonight with a couple of very talented people we came across in Whitby that are well worth looking out for for Vampire themed artwork. First is Riff Art, well worth looking at. Second would be Des Knock Photography, who does some stunning vampire themed and other gothic work.

Right, onto news.

First a mention for google, who have celebrated Bram Stoker's birthday by doing a Dracula logo.

ok, so that was probably the worst times comeback for a blog ever. Been away for the last couple of nights, going away again with work tomorrow. Bear with me, it settles down after wednesday I promise!

NEW TV SERIES - No confirmed name yet, but a new TV vampire hunter series is on the way... sounds like a similar set up to The League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Details are here.

NEW FILM NEWS - Beautiful Evil.

Beautiful Evil revolves around a celebrity photographer, Steve "Flash" Turner, who discovers that a wealthy, beautiful baroness - someone he'd do anything to get on film - might be a homicidal monster.

Veteran actor Robert Loggia (Scarface, TV's "The Sopranos"), Yasmine Bleeth (TV's "Baywatch"), and Gary Daniels (The Expendables, Tekken) will headline the Hollywood Hills-set creature feature announced at AFM this week. Genre vets Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr (Dracula 3000), Christopher Showerman (The Land That Time Forgot), Tim Thomerson (Trancers), and Andrew Lawrence (TV's "Bones") have supporting roles in the film; Beautiful Evil is written by BJ and Julia Davis and directed by Asif Akbar.

Get a taste of immortality in Beautiful Evil as the Hollywood Hills are littered with the bodies of Sunset Strip prostitutes. The ladies of the night are decapitated; no remnants or traces of blood remain in their lifeless bodies. The LAPD are perplexed, and Steve “Flash" Turner, a down and out paparazzi photographer, is hoping his luck is about to change when he captures Beverly Hills socialite Baroness Von Siepold at a star-studded event. Flash gets the shot, but the image of the Baroness does not transfer to the digital picture. No one will believe this sure-shot photographer missed a photo op as the body count continues to rise when the sun sets.

Six months off, things change. No longer doing long hours, I am back in the 8:30-5 rat race, so lets see if I can get this blog going again!

I'll be doing things a little differently now though... it will just be genuinely new stuff, be it books, music, film TV or oddity. I wont be doing "here are some new pics from series X episode Y" - quite frankly there are hundreds of sites dedicated to gossip and pics from the big series and films, and I'd rather spend my time unearthing things that you lot might not know about, or is genuine news of something worth knowing about.

So... onwards!

I'm going to start with three Youtube channels you might all be interested in subscribing to. Between them, they have a lot of bite scenes, new vampire video clips and some hard to find stuff. Todundverklarung, Jafula2000 and Vampiressbait2.

MUSIC - This is a couple of weeks old, but i'll post it. Sally Street has done a vampire video for her new song, "Without You".

NEW FILM - Bloodydisgusting has news of The Eternal being picked up by Toronto film makers AFM Raven Banner. Shocktilyoudrop has a few details of the film here.

Sorry folks, the blog might be a bit erratic for a little while. I am out at work 14 hours a day at the moment, and its becoming impossible to find an hour a night to get the blog done in what little is left of the night. I hope things will improve in a few weeks time... until then i will post when i can, please be patient with me.
