Frankie Stanford hair

In June I finished my drivinglessons and got my, well deserverd, license. At that point I decided to cut my hair very short. The ''Frankie'' hair. Mostly I get nice complements and everybody thinks Im like 5 or 6 years older, which before never happend to me. So I am digging my short hair. Ha!
Also last saturday I went out on a shopping spree and bought a colourblocking pink skirt, leather shorts, a stripped sweater, fur sneakers and some leather biker/cowboy boots. My BF moved and lives now 100minutes away from me:( So i won't be able to post outfit pictures much (he always took the pics).

Sorry guys haven't updated in a while BUT I will start with updating this week again. The last period I was busy with figuring out what I really want with and in my life.

My boyfriend is going to change the whole Hope & Faith design. I want the change the whole concept and make a fresh start with new ideas, brand new style and a new attitude.

Orginal indian fashion

Moccasins are back. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had but I seriously need some new one.
Anyways, the shoes are orginally made by the indians who hunt and run at them. So they had to be great quality and comfortable. I can assure you, they ARE.

The first picture is a moccasin for men. If you truly have balls, you wear them. They send a certain sexiness and shows you are fashionable.

I love the moccasins from Minnetonka. They sell them with a peace sign or a thunderbird or just basic ones.

Personally I dont like the copies of the moccasins the concept of the shoes is totally changed which is a pity.

Casual Gaga

Well, we wont get to see her probably more casual or normal. I am not a fan of the way Gaga is throwing herself in the spotlight. She doesn't give people a choice. Wether we like it or not you can't avoid her. Her looks made her world famous. If she didn't look that way and wasn't pulling so much attention to her, she wouldn't be famous like this.

It is a good thing for her and her bank account but I think she pushed it to much. Let's be honest, if Demi Lovato or Carrie Underwood would dress and act like this all the time, everybody would say they look like a whore or they need some kind of therapy.

My point is, what she does on stage like I don't care she is an artist. But please girl, you make those little girls either or scared to death or think it is okay to dress like a stripper.

It looks just gross.

Red blooded woman

The spring feels more like a hot summer, thank god. I would almost think it has to do with the bright colours this season. Those colours seem to give everyone (expect the goths etc.) a very good mood. Which is good for our health. Though some people don't dare to wear bright poppin' colours unfortunately.
This trend started last year, but back then only expensive designers or creepy stores sold red pants. Now days you can get them everywhere and its hot and happening.

Buy them, try some different combinations with it to find your perfect look and voilá you are fashionable and ready to rock the streets.

P.s Khloe Kardashian shouldn't deny her size and buy a bigger pants.. People don't want to see your cameltoe

Everybody knows, in many peoples eyes a little bit strange, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They are well known since they were babies.

Now, in 2011, they are fully focussed on their fashion empire. With having 3 clothinglines, you can say they are great businesswoman. It is impressive how they got out of Hollywood and doing it outside so well, especially for woman who used to be child actors. The succes of their clothingline goes with their Hollywood contacts to promote the lines.

The sisters always are being criticized about their fashionsense big time. But if you watch their style carefully you will notice that they are many years ahead. Things they wore like 3 or 4 years a go, are hot right now.

They aren't strange, weird or don't have a fashionsense because they do. Mary kate and Ashley are just more forward in fashion then the rest of us. They create the fashion and don't follow the fashion.

Google some pictures of their style and you will find a system in it.

So girls, if you would like to know what is hot in 2014, you should check out Mary-kate and Ashley olsen's style.

At the edge of.... getting the wrong look when you pass by

As you may have noticed, crop tops have made their comeback. Last time they were hot was like 14 years ago or some.

Personally I think not many people can pull this trend off. Crop tops have a few pitfalls.

Since crop tops show a part of you belly, you have to have a healthy figure. In my opninion, it looks gross if you aren't having it. Also you have to think carefully of what you are going to wear with the crop top. Is has to be a non-slut combination. So don't wear short-shorts and sky high heels unless you are planning to make some money..

When you really don't know what to wear with the crop top, go for a classic combination. Something simple.

Primark liege belgium 2011

Just got back from Primark and some other stores in Liége.

I went with my mother and sister and as always, I had the most stuff. Especially at Primark I found some great items. In some upcoming outfit posts I will show you what I've got.

A few stores away from Primark we found New Look. This store is absolutely fab. so as soon as I get my next salary I will go back.

The only problem we had in Liége was the language. I live in the south of the Netherlands so I have Dutch as my mother language. My second best language is English, at the 3th place is German and then we have number 4 which is French. So, it is save to say that my French is bad and as soon as we arrived in Liége we found out that nobody speaks anything but French. We had a little problem because we expected they speak dutch or some English, since it is only a half an hour drive. But this summer I want to take my French to a higher level because I am going to study communication and I think it would be usefull.

If you are near Liége, go check it out. Liége has a great shopping center. Low to high budget.

P.s the bag cost only 6euro.

I just started reading LA Candy from Lauren Conrad. The book is similar to The Hills but has a different twist. So far I really like the book. The writing is simple but pretty good which suprised me. I am sceptical about celebrities and writing.

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Cannes festivities at friday night, wearing a white Dolce & Gabbana eyelat lace gown. Many other celebs wore this week a white dress as well.

Are we spotting a new trend?

The actress, well known of Sex and the city, was in Cannes to celebrate her new movie ''I don't know how she does it''.

I love the whole outfit. It looks fresh and it reminds me of the upcoming summer. The gown doens't give me a really fancy feeling, by the fabric that is used, makes it look a little more casual. The statement pearls and the super gorgeous rhinestone belt are giving that luxury touch, which the dress definitely needs at an evening like the Cannes festivities.

What means fashion for 2011/2011? Everbody is wondering.

Normally you see two hands full of trends passing by through the year. In 2011/2012 is everything different. All the so called rules are broken by the fashionbloggers, which are the inspiration for many designers. There is hardly a line noticeable, to get a clear view, for a fashion loving city girl.

So what can and can't you wear this year? Well, you can wear basically anything, The more crazy and extraordinary the better! Mix and match it all. From stripes and tiger paterns to orange, pink and blue, all together in one outfit.

Now the trick is to know when to stop adding statement items. When it is to much. If your outfit is similar to Lady Gaga's you know it is to much.. But be crazy, look for YOUR fashionborders and be always true to your own unique style. Build from that a fashionable but still a you outfit. Remember, anything can be worn in 2011 without being a fashion failure or a fashion suicide.

Wear anything with confidence and proud.

Hi peeps,

At this point of my upcoming make up career im trying to expand my collection. Most of the stuff is really expensive, it is going to take a while to get the best and most beautiful stuff.

I started my make up course with Make up studio foundation and concealer but I would not recommend it at all! I am going to replace the foundation and concealer for the products of Make up For Ever, the products are amazing. The eyeshadows of Make up studio are pretty good but they don't have many loose pigment colors, so I think I am going to buy them from Kryolan. The pencils from Davinci are very good quality.

In the next upcoming months I am going to buy:

Eye M glam from Giella (AMAZING)

Foundation from Make Up For Ever

Concealer from Make Up For Ever

More Davinci pencils

More blush from i don't know yet

And some contour colors

Make up gets more fun when you find out what you can create with different techniques.

Before you sign in for a make up course. I would recommend to check the school fully before you pay anything, because I didn't and right now I paid a lot of money for a crappy course. I learn more from Youtube. For real!

I am changing my room as to be able to make better tutorials with the lights and the sound. Hopefully it helps!

DIY leather skirt

I just made my own leather skirt and I am going to show you how to do it on your own.

You need:
Siccor
Fake leather (I bought 0,70 x 1 meter but it depence on your size)
Pins
Sewing machine

Step 1
Take a centimeter and wrap it around your hips and but to size yourself. Write your size down.
Fold the leather double. So in my case the fabric of 0,70 x 1meter is going to be 0,70 x 0,50 meter.

Step 2
Example
If your size is 0,80meter.
You fold the leather double so you need to take half your size. This would be 0,40meter.
You need 1.5cm seam. So cut the 8.5cm that is to much of of the 0,50cm. The new size of the leather would be 0,70 x 0,415meter

Step 3
If you want your skirt to be 0,50meter long, then you should cut 17cm of because you need above and below 1,5cm seam.
Now you've got the sizes that you want you can start sewing.

Step 4
Start with putting the pins on the sideline. Make sure it is a straight line and it has to be 1.5cm from the side. THE PINS HAS TO BE ON THE SIDE THAT IS NOT GOING TO SHOW.
Sew it together with the sewing machine.

Step 5
Now you need to sew the above side with the seam. Put the pins 1.5cm from the side in a straight line and sew it again. Do the same with the side below.

Step 6
Try the skirt on. The skirt probably doesn't fit nice above the but (it is to big). Now it is going to be a little more difficult. take the fabric together that is to much. Mostly it is like 4cm but it depends on your but of course.

Lets say it is 4cm then you make two seams. Both seams have to have the same size. The sizes of the 2 seams are going to be. 1 x 1cm and 1 x 1cm. Take the first seam and fold the 2cm together. So each side is 1 x 1cm. pin it in a V (see picture) and sew it. Do the same with the other one. The 4 cm are gone.

They are not supossed to get wet, so don't even think about swimming in the over priced ''swim''suits.

With the summer right around the corner, everybody is looking for a fashionable swimsuit. So Max Azria must have thought, lets design several fashionable disfunctional swimsuits for Hervé Léger.

The fashionable non-swimwear cost €740,- and comes with a disclaimer that reads: ''To get the best from your Hervé Léger beachwear we advise you do not wear it in water''. Ridiculous huh?

I really don't understand why people would go shopping for a swimsuit and buy a swimsuit that is allergic for water!
