Wow so at first glance she loooks EXACTLY like Justin Bieber but her name is Dani Shay, a 23 year old girl who has been mistaken for being Justin Beiber everywhere she goes. This song is like a parody to "Baby" where she expresses her confusion. I am totally surprised over how similar they both look and she can also SING!!

Thought of sharing this with you guys, quite an entertaining piece.

My First Attempt at Nail Art

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have gone MIA for a while now. It's just school has yet again taken my life away and also my laptop crashed and so it was hard for me to regularly blog. I am back for now with a little post, hope you enjoy.....

So I had recently bought the L.A. Colors Nail Art polishes and I decided to give it a try and boy let me just tell you that it is one challenging task. I couldn't get my hands to stop shaking when trying to make precise details. It was such a challenge but hey it was my first attempt hopefully with practice I can get better at it. I tried to imitate this look from what I saw on youtube but it's nothing close to the actual thing but oh well, it's the thought that counts lol.

Chef it Up: Bruschetta

Hey folks, this is my second recipe of the week. This is a simple recipe for bruschettas, they are honestly such a delicious snack. It's also very addicting you keep eating them.

Ingredients:

Plum Tomatoes (3)

Italian Baguette

Clove of Garlic

BalsamicVinegar

Virgin Olive Oil

Basil

Salt &Pepper

How to: Bruschetta

1. Boil the tomatoes until you can see the tomato start bursting from its skin

2. Take the tomatoes our and peel off the skin and cut them into half and take out the middle part of the tomatoes until there is no more juice and seeds remaining.

3. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes

4. Pour a tablespoon of vinegar & olive oil

5. Mince up one clove of garlic and add that to the tomatoes

6. Finish it off by adding basil and salt & pepper to the finishing product.

How to: Baguettes

1. The next part to this recipe is to get the baguettes heated up.

2. Cut the baguettes into medium slices and coat one side of the baguettes with olive oil

3. Place the side with olive oil face down on a baking dish and pop it in the oven

4. Once you notice the baguettes getting crispy and brown take them out of the oven and let it cool for a bit.

Now just top the bruschetta onto the side of the baguette with the oil and serve.

Getting the plate filled, you can serve about 12 with this ingredient.

YUM!!!

And here you have it, you do have to eat them while they are fresh. Once it cools down it just doesn't taste as good. This is a fast simple recipe for those who have never tried to make bruschettas. They are just basic ingredients in your pantry so there shouldn't be any problem finding the ingredients. How do you guys make your bruschetta? Are there any other quick snacks you make ? I got lured into the nailpolish section. China glaze were on sale for 2 for $12.00 so i HAD to get myself 2.

The other day I had to pick up some groceries for my mom from a close- by Indian grocery store. As I was paying for the stuff I realize they had a rack for L.A. Colors. I was like "wtf" what is that doing here?

I went up and noticed that everything on that rack was for $1.99. I really been wanting to try out their nail art nailpolishes and I figured this was my chance. Usually these nail polishes go for anywhere between $3- $5 and this was the cheapest I have ever seen so I decided to stack up on some. I never have actually designed my own nails, so I will let you know how that goes.

Chef it Up:Roast Sweet Potatoes & Corn

Hello there everyone, now I know my blog has been on clothes, makeup, hair, etc. but I felt like I wanted to share another passion of mine....cooking!!! Well I don't know if it's a passion per se but I looooove food. I decided to share with you something I made today.

Since it's lent I decided to give up meat for 40 days and I have been doing a great job so far. Being a vegetarian is not so bad as long as you have options. So I am going to try posting up some vegetarian dishes throughout the month (hopefully) so that you guys out there that are vegetarian or want to become vegetarian has more options to choose from.

This is a simple dish which can be considered as a snack or a full meal, depending on how you plan to serve it. I use basic ingredients right from my pantry and fridge, nothing fancy. So here goes....

Ingredients:

Sweet Potatoes (2)

Onion (1)

Garlic (1 clove)

Frozen Corn

Virgin Olive Oil (not in picture)

Hellmans Mayonnaise

Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing

Realtime Lime Juice ( lemon juice would probably be better)

Cayenne Pepper Powder

Dried Parsley (fresh parsley would be better)

Salt & Pepper

Lettuce (if preferred)

How to: Roast

1. Heat your oven to 400 F
2. Cut the sweet potatoes in to medium sized cubes
3. Mix Olive oil & Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing in a bowl and mix the potatoes in.
4. Once the potatoes have enough dressing on them place it on a baking dish and put it in the oven on roast for 30 mins or until the edges of the potatoes are a little hard.
5. Before you put them in the oven add some Pepper and Salt along with some Cayenne pepper
5. Then dice up the onions into small cubes
6. Add the onions and the corn 15 mins before the potatoes are done, stir them all up and close the oven door (you do this because potatoes take longer to roast but corn & onions roast in a matter of minutes.

Your dish should look something like this ...

How to: Sauce

1. To make the sauce first mince up a clove of garlic

2. Mix it with 1/3 cup of Hellmans Mayonnaise or your choice of mayonnaise

3. Also add 1 tablespoon of Realtime Lime Juice or preferably Lemon Juice.

4. You have made your sauce, if you find the sauce to be too thick you can add 2 tablespoons of milk to thin the sauce out.

Now to serve the dish :

1. Take the roasted potatoes along with the onions and corn out, let it cool just a tad bit
2. Place lettuce all over the serving dish as a base
3. Scoop out the roast on to the lettuce and top it off with the sauce
4. Add parsley if you desire

Your final product should look like this ....

Voila! You are done !! Doesn't it look so delicious.

Its a great dish and I am telling you it gets eaten up within a matter of minutes.

You can choose to serve it with rice but that would be a lot of unwanted carbs. You can also choose to make a wrap with all these ingredients in a pita.

2o Things...

Sorry for the late post, I was supposed to post this on Wednesday but here it is. These are my next 10 Things, which brings us to a total of 20 things.

I loved every bit of my experience in Rome. We walked alot in the blazing heat all over the city but it was an adventure I will never forget. I will be more than happy to visit back and I surely hope I get a chance.

12.

Sailor Moon has to be my favourite Anime Cartoon of all time (next to Dragonball Z lol). I watched every single episode and even watched all of the re-runs. My entire childhood consumed of Sailor Moon. Oh the good old days *sighs*

13.

I was born in United Arab Emirates, Dubai to be specific. Beautiful place, I am sure everyone has heard of Dubai by now. They have the most amazing structures and beautiful views and it seems like everyone goes vacationing there now so it's quite the hotspot.

14.

The one feature I like a lot are Eyes. I think they are so beautiful and full of meaning. I think a person's strongest feature has to be their eyes. Most of us communicate using eye contact. We interact with each other on a daily basis through our eyes. I think it's an essential part of us. Plus being a makeup freak I love all the different looks you can do to enhance your eyes. Grey eyes are my weakness!

Christmas is my favourite holiday but I am sure that is the case for a lot of you. As soon as December arrives I will be anticipating the whole month. I start getting in the spirit, putting up the tree, decorating the house, making christmas cake, etc. The excitement and the joy Christmas brings me is way beyond words. Christmas is just a magical time.

Music is my sweet escape. I don't know how I would survive without music. It is probably the best thing ever invented. Everytime I am stressed or can't focus or I can't fall asleep or I am feeling down music will always make it better. I forget about all my worries once I start listening to music and shut reality from existence.

17.

This is a cliche but everyone loves the Notebook and it has to be my favourite Romantic movie. Very very cute movie, touched my heart very dearly but then again it touched millions of girls out there just as much. I think the idea about eternal love really gets to me and I feel like the movie offers such a beautiful message. Love is beautiful guys so Fall in Love && Embrace your Love!

18.

I love busy streets. I hate when it's quite. This is why I would always prefer the city over the countryside. I always like being in a fast pace world where everyone is always on the go and cars are always on the road and it's always alive. I enjoy Times Square so much for this reason and I could stand there and just listen to the liveliness of the city (if i don't get trampled over)

19.

One of my favourite show is Vampire Diaries, I have been watching it very religiously. I watched it from the very beginning and haven't missed an episode ever since. I am in love with Damon and I think Elena is just gorgeous. Don't get me wrong all the casts are quite hot lol. I was never big on vampires but I totally changed my mind after Vampire Diaries. Love the story line, I love the edginess it has along with the romance, just my favourite combination.

I totally adore puppies, they are just so cute and I want one!!!

I have been seeing on many blogs 100 favourite things. I thought this was a neat idea so I decided to follow the trend. This will give others a chance to know me better and I insist on you to join in this trend so I can learn a little bit more about you. I will be posting 10 things every week till I reach 100.
So here goes....

I love to walk on the beach with my lover. It calms my mind and keeps at ease.

Plus its totally romantic.

Gotta love those statement rings. They are just so pretty and so bold.

I love crowns, whether it be jewellery or t-shrirts or anything. Crowns are so royal looking, it has a classy look to it.

Sunsets are so amazing, the sky looks so beautiful. The water glistening in the summer days are beyond words.

Shoes are a girl's best friend. I love boots, pumps, peek toes. You name it and I like it!

There is never a day when I don't have nailpolish on my fingers like NEVER!

Omg these are just soo delish. They are the best comfort food ever and it makes my tummy tingle with excitement when I see them.

I love key pendants. I own one right now but I plan on owning every single one possible lol. They are all the keys to my heart ;)

I am recently addicted to always curling my hair. I like to experiment and learn all the different ways of curling hair.

Hey dolls,

Hope everyone is doing good. I just finally finished the most hectic 2 weeks of my life. I had tons of midterms and assignments and presentations and I am finally done with them...for now. So here I am with a new blog post, I really missed not blogging.

SO anyways the past Monday was my graduation picture day, yes I know I am finally graduating!!!! YAY MEEE =D gosh I have been waiting for this for ever and it's almost here. I have a couple of pictures to show of how I looked for my pictures. I was lacking ALOT of sleeep so you can kinda tell when you look at my piks. Also I only took these piks when I got home, I really should have taken them before I left to go get them done because it was such a windy day and my hair was basically messy by the time I got home and took these piks.

However, I am still sharing them. I am just glad to finally almost taste victory and be a step closer to finishing university =)

Nail Polish Haul: Amazingly Cheap!!!

Hey everyone,

I haven’t been doing many posts due to my extremely busy schedule at school. I have so much work to finish and not enough time. Anywhoo I went to a random Fragrance Discount store. I was just in the neighbourhood and I figured I would just take a peek. I was really excited over the piles and piles of nail polishes they had. It would take me ages to go through all those nail polishes. I tried to hunt down a couple of colours I really liked. They don’t have high brand nail polishes like OPI or China Glaze but they had quite a bit of Sally Hansen nail polishes, which is still pretty expensive in regular drug stores. I also came across a whole different brand I have never heard of called “Miss R Rainbow’. I don’t know how good this brand is but I honestly bought it because I really liked the packaging =) The nailpolishes were 2 for $1.00!!! Isn’t that such a great deal?? I ended up buying 10 nail polishes for $5.00!!! I was super excited at the deal =D

Hello my beautiful ladies so I did a little online shopping. I really need to stop shopping because it is a hazard to my bank account lol. I couldn't resist F21 was having a spring clean up and all their winter stuff were 70% off which is AH- MAZING!!!! So I went on a little splurge, I bought basic winter stuff, nothing too much. How to Achieve Sleek Straight Hair

Hello ladies,

I naturally have curly hair. It used to be extremely curly but over time I lost a lot of curls. My hair used to be much more curlier before. I have experimented with numerous types of hair products and hair tools before I landed on the perfect products for me. This doesn't necessarily work for everyone, but it definitely worked for me and it may even work wonders for you =)

Here are my SEVEN steps to straightening hair....

FIRST : So first and foremost the most important thing is to care for your hair. Always be careful what you do with your hair. Brush your hair softly, avoid tying your hair with metal hair ties. Also tying your hair too tight can damage your hair. Once in a while treat your hair to a warm oil massage. Coconut oil or Castor oil are two types I have used that has brought shine to my hair as well as growth.

Using raw egg whites in your hair is also a wonderful treatment to make your hair super shiny!!!

SECOND: Find a good Shampoo and Conditioner for your hair. My all time favourite is the Tresemme Smooth and Silky Shampoo and Conditioner. I have noticed a significant change in my hair texture. My hair used to be very dry and frizzy but ever since I started using the product my hair is much smoother and easy to run my fingers through. It also brings a noticeable shine to your hair that lasts for days, giving your hair a healthy and natural look.

THIRD: A good straightening tool is a MUST. I use the Cortex hair straightener for about 5 years and it works amazingly well. However, it is slowly breaking apart with my extended use lol. I know there are even better hair straighteners out there but the Cortex does just a fine job for my extremely thick and coarse hair.

FOURTH: Good heat products enhance the quality of your hair straightening. I recently started using the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray and I am so impressed with it! It works so well and it makes straightening so much more easier. I love the smell of it and it's comparable to CHI's heat protectant spray.

FIFTH: Another good product that I have been using for ages is the Marc Anthony Moisture Gloss. It is a serum and I use it before I straighten my hair. A little goes a long way so I take a section of hair and do quarter of a pump for that section and apply it in to my hair and then I straighten it. This gloss really gives that extra boost of shine to make your hair look ou la la ;)

SIXTH: The technique in straightening hair is to do it slowly and precisely. Take a section of hair, place a comb under that section holding it up and run the straightener through your hair in slow motion, slowly going through your hair. Using a comb is your preference I use a comb because I don't want to have to touch my hot straightened hair and burn my fingers. If it you take time in swiping that straightener through your hair then your hair will get straightened faster rather than swiping your hair quickly numerous times. One slow swipe is all you need to straighten hair but it needs to be done slowly, getting to the roots properly and running through till the ends.

SEVENTH: Well the seventh step is to just admire your beautiful straight hair =)

Good Morning Ladies

It's Saturday morning and I am trying to get some school work done but ofcourse that doesn't run very smoothly. I am distracted and here I am blogging lol.

Anyways I have a quick drugstore haul, I had a quick shopping spree this week for basic products I needed from Shoppers Drug Mart and Wal- Mart. Some of these products I will be trying for the first time, others are just routinely bought. Hope you guys enjoy =)

I have been looking for a really good hairspray. I have heard good reviews on this Loreal Elnett hairspray. It is supposed to hold your hair style without hardening your hair. I personally hate hairsprays because it hardens hair and creates a rough texture. This hairspray is to disappear at the stroke of a brush, I assume that includes running your fingers through your hair. They have strong hold and extra strong hold. I bought the extra strong hold. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Shoppers Drug Mart was having a sale on selected Tresemme products. I am a huge fan of Tresemme, I think they are amazing and even more amazing for their affordability. I use their Sleek and Straight Shampoo and Conditioner on the regular, especially when i straighten my hair. It locks in alot of moisture and shine and I have been very impressed with the product so I thought to give their Curl Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner a try because I have naturally curly hair. I bought them for $3.99 CAD each.

Also heard tons of good this about this Tresemme product. I bought this at Wal-Mart. It's a heat tamer spray. It is to be used before using a heat tools on your hair. It is said to be comparable to the CHI Heat Protectant. If it is I am definitely going to be happy because this product is a lot cheaper and more accessible.

I totally love Marc Anthony products. I have a lot of their products. I have been using this product for ages and I am extremely impressed with this. It's a Moisture Gloss serum. I apply this before I straighten my hair. A little goes a long way so only a quarter pump is enough for each section of hair being straightened. This leaves my hair super shiny and healthy and even my dead ends are moisturized and healthy-looking. You have to be careful how you apply this because if you put too much it make your hair look greasy and we don't want that. So a small amount on each section as you straighten will give you amazing results. Shoppers had a sale one these 2 for $14 CAD which is cheaper than the regular $11 CAD each.

Gotta have my Blistex. This is my life saviour in the winter time. I have been using this for ages, it's medicated so it helps to nourish my dry chapped lips but also sealing any cracks on my lips. Do you guys have any other recommendation for lip balms? I am in search for an even better lip balm if possible =)

So I went to buy the Tresemme Dry Shampoo and I end up coming home with the waterless foam shampoo. I don't know how that happened and if I want to keep this product. Does anyone know if this is a good product? or should I return it?

I was out of face primer and I didn't want to spend 30 something dollars to get my Smashbox primer again so I decided to go for a cheaper alternative. Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer has good reviews and so I decided to try it out. I have used it twice and I have to say it feels great on the face, it absorbs oil and it makes applying foundation much easier with a smooth base to work on.

Lastly, I have been hearing way too much hype over the new Wet n Wild colour icon Eyeshadow Palettes. I have never liked anything Wet n Wild, not even their nail polishes. Suddenly I hear so many good things about all their new products and I figured I should give it a try and see what it is all about. I bought the Vanity palette, they are a bunch of neutral colours. 3 of the shadows are matte perfect for a day time look and the other 3 are shimmer which is good for an evening look. The texture is so smooth and almost creamy. The colours are so pigmented, I have tried it once as a day time look and they give such a nice natural look. I will do a review on this once I try it more and know for sure that I like it. It's like $5.99 CAD.

Mini LUSH Haul

Hey ladies

This is just a small haul showing you the latest products I purchased from Lush. I have heard some good things about these products so I though I would give it a try and see if I notice any improvements.

Lush Goodies

Fresh Farmacy is a face cleanser which is made of chamomile, lavender & tea tree. It is supposed to help treat acne- prone skins. The bumps are to be reduced and the face is left much smoother. I would however recommend to always use a moisturizer after just incase of any drying from the tea tree. The chamomile however does calm the skin down. It is to leave your skin feeling fresh.

Fresh Farmacy

The next product I purchased is the tea tree toner tabs. OMG I have heard numerous good things about this product. I was dying to try this. Take a bowl of boiled water and drop a toner tab in the water, cover your face with a towel and just let the tab steam into your face. It is supposedly going to bring out all your black heads and white heads and leave your pores completely clean. I hope it lives up to its expectations.

Tea Tree Toner Tabs

During the winter I have very chapped lips. Chapped in the sense that the corner of my lips have started to rip!! It's horrible and I desperately needed a therapy. I thought of trying this lip scrub and applying a lip balm ever day and see if I notice a difference.

Bubblegum Lip Scrub

So the ladies at Lush recommended I try Herbalism. I honestly don't know much about this product. They gave me a sample to test. It is a cleanser that is suppose to keep your face clean and get rid of acne. If I really like it i'm definitely going back for it.

Herbalism

Definitely pick the Lush catalogue, it's very resourceful and it's like an encyclopaedia for all their products. You can just cuddle on a couch and look through all their various products.

Snowed In!!! and EOTD

Today was a hectic snow day and university was cancelled YAY!!! So I am basically mopping around the house. Actually I should be studying but clearly that's not happening lol. I am just relaxing and cuddling under my blankets with my Bath and Body Works "Fireside" candle burning in my room. Mmmmmm......feels soo cozy. I don't want to move and I just want to fall into a deep slumber. Ofcourse reality hits me and I wake up to realize I have an assignment due tomorrow and I haven't started it yet SIGH...

Well that is exactly what I am going to do as soon as I am done typing this blog. Well anyways its horrible weather out in Toronto. How about where you guys are? Hot weather? Cold weather? Wet weather? Tell me all =) I heard many parts of the States are experiencing even worse weather than us. Shocker!!

Anywhoo as i continue mopping around the house .. i mean *ahems" doing homework around the house I wish you all a great day =D
