SGX Portfolio Updates Sep-2026

Started an itchy hand account with Moo Moo, just to test the luck and skill in trading. Target is to make 10% by the end of 2027.

Other than that not much update, will wait for Q4 dividends from the REITs and DBS, and can close the chapter for 2026.

Total expected dividends have broken $5k, more than what I have received for last year.

Thanks to another round of yummy dividends from the 3 local banks.

I am considering to rotate part of UOB or OCBC to DBS, will monitor the price movement in next 1-2 months before I pull the trigger.

Bought Semb Corp at $5.xx, might add more if it drops more.

Banks continue to bull run and makes my portfolio at ATH now. Hopes their results will be positives and continue to dish out yummy dividends.

No surprise in MINT, MLT and MPACT results, I expect these to continue run flat. I am not planning to add any REITs at this moment.

I am also looking at CDG and Venture, may add some, depending on their results.

Dividend month! Dividend received till date is $2.6k, continue buying 3 local bank share has paid off.

Was supposed to buy more OCBC with the dividend received, but can't resist the 52 weeks low of CDG, so I add some and keep for dividend.

Next month I am expecting distributions from the 3 Mapletree REITs, hopefully to add some OCBC or Semb Corp if their price go weaker.

Riding the waves.

With the current war affair, market is now very volatile, luckily my overall portfolio still remained green.

There are buying opportunities but I am still holding on, I am expecting the war will not end any time soon.

The plan to reinvest the dividends into DBS and OCBC during XD is still stay.

Continue hibernate mode while waiting for company results

Local banks went down a bit after they announce the results. Sembcorp, Wilmar and Venture results are also not in favor of the market while Venture took the biggest hits and went down about 8%. So far only City Dev and CDG are showing up trend in their share price after results.

With all the dividend announcement, my 1H26 dividend will be around $2,500,

I am planning to reinvest these dividends into DBS or OCBC when they are XD in Apr26.

Hibernate mode, not doing anything this month.

Local banks continue to lead the way, while City Dev, Wilmar and Sembcorp also turning positive, my portfolio has reached the all time high.

MLT, MINT and MPACT reported a so-so set of result and slightly lower distributions this quarter, no plan to add or sell yet, just keep them for dividends for now.

I am looking forward to the 3 local banks result next month, hoping another round of fat dividends.

Results from the Mapletree trio are not so promising, price went south. However, they are still paying decent dividends.

Sold Netlink at 52 week high, finally manage to offload this counter with a small gain.

I have then rotated the fund to OCBC.

The total portfolio is $97k now, most likely will exceed $100k by end of the year.

Looking forward to the SREITs 4Q results and finally dividend from the Mapletree trio.

Received dividends from the 3 local banks this month, total dividend received has exceeded $4,200 target I set at the beginning of the year.

My total portfolio is now worth around $95k, hoping to hit $100k before end of the year.

I am looking for opportunity to rebalance my portfolio by adding non-bank counters that pay decent dividend, Wilmar and Venture are currently under my radar.

A big gap down at the beginning of the month. I too the opportunity to add some OCBC and DBS and now my war chest is empty.

MLT, MPACT and MINT are announcing their quarterly results this month and all do not look good. The price continue to go south and now I am sitting at around 20% loss. Hopefully rebound will happen when the rate cut is announced later this year.

Next month will be my dividend month, expecting around $1,800 to be received. That will make my YTD dividend around $2k, half of the target of dividend to be received by end of 2025.

US new tariff kicked in, market fear of trade war, STI went down 100 points in 1 day. I am looking for chance to enter DBS at around $40 and OCBC around $15, hopefully during their XD.

I am also looking forward to add other company like Wilmar and Venture during their XD in Apr-25.

However with limited war chest size, I might only able to add some SG local banks.

Placed a wrong bet in MINT, price continue to went down after downgraded by JP Morgan. The price is now below $2.00 at the time of writing.

Many companies has announced their results and dividends this month, SG local banks again giving good set of results and giving special dividends for this round. I see a mixed results for my other counters but still they are giving dividends despite some of them are not performing as expected. With all these dividends that are expect to come, my 1H 2025 dividends will be breaking the $2k mark.

Outside of this portfolio, I have parked my FD money to SSB and they are fully allotted. I plan to further increase my allocation to these fixed income instruments in the future.

CNY is around the corner and I will be back to my hometown next week, so I decided to have this update one week earlier.

Not much actions on this portfolio this month, only added some Wilmar when it nearly hits it's 52 weeks low.

Results for MIT, MLT and MPACT announced this month, I see result for MIT as positive while MLT and MPACT as mixed. They are still staying low and I think is a good opportunity to add some during this period, for the 6%+ dividend yield. Will see what is the price point during and after XD.

Outside of this portfolio, I have starting to move my FD fund to SSB, due to the not so attractive interest rate from FD. I know there are other HYSA that offers better interest rate but I have chosen SSB for the piece of mind.

The year of snake is around the corner, I wish everybody a good year ahead and huat in your investing journey.

3. At the beginning of the year, I expect my portfolio to breakeven with the current market value. In reality I am still sitting on paper loss of 3%, position has improved but not up to my expectation.

4. At the beginning of the year, I hope my overall gain will achieve 9%. In reality, I am making a 18.99% gain.

Again, 2 out of 4 targets achieved, same with last year.

My expectations for next year are:

1. Increase my portfolio size to $90k

Confirmed not hitting the target dividend of $4k this year.

To increase the expected dividend next year, I have started to add REITs and banks this month.

The REITs boat is coming back so it might be a good opportunity to buy at low price.

I have also sold my odd lot in OCBC and CDLHT, and bought back OCBC at almost the same price.

I did it via FSMOne, it's kinda easy, just need to call them and tell them the total unit you would like to sell for each counter. The broker fee is same as online rate. I will recommend this if you have an odd lot to get rid of.

I am also starting a RSP in CSPX with FSMOne to test water. Will give it a 1-3 years time to run on it own and see what will be the result.

Tudor Black Bay 58

I was thinking to get another Rolex after I bought my first one 10 years ago.

However, I am tired of all the profile building games from AD, and I am not going to pay higher than RRP to get from grey market, I decided to go for the Tudor.

Been eyeing BB58 black or coke GMT. Coke GMT is still relatively new and hard to get at the point of writing.

At first I was planning to get from the Singapore AD but they are not giving me a good discount, I am talking about few hundred bucks compared to grey dealer.

So I finally pulled my trigger and get this brand new from grey dealer at around 25% below RRP.

Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I heard that the Rolex supply is getting back to normal and might be able to get the OP and date just from AD at RRP. I strongly hope that one day it will become like 10 years ago, where I can walk in and buy my favorite Rolex model at or below RRP, and walk out as a happy customer.
