PC vs Console

My humble reply to (Why Console gaming better then PC).

Simple fact is, PC wins. PC will always distribute a robust online experience. Online Multiplayer was just for PC, from Quake,Halo,Garry’s mod, and popular shooter Counter strike source. It’s still evolving and growing as we see revolutionized MMO community such as WOW, Aion, and F2P MMORPG industry starting to flourish in the market. PC will always deliever the best online experience, even with a not up-to-par PC or graphic cards . PC can hold thousands of players simultaneously, while theirs no such “Massive Multiplayer console”. Consoles weren’t made to be in-depth and complexe, but simple.

Upgrading computer doesn’t cost a lot!

Upgrading is affordable these days, and doesn’t cost that much. Theirs different tiers of upgrades, to resolution,specs,manufacture,PCI slot,DDR, and many questions to ask. Do i want to upgrade for 3-5years? Do i want to play the high demanding games? Or are you a casual gamer that doesn’t mind medium settings or low?. Just by buying parts such as,ram,graphic cards,processor. Can probably cost me up to 300$. ($50 for 500W,100$ for medicore graphic cards depending on my monitor resolution and what kind of demand i want, processor for $123 for a duo core,DDR1 or two for just about 50$ 1GB or 2GB.

That is just for a medium end computer that can run most games on Medium settings. Want a high-end computer? You can easily build one for 700USD, far cheaper then owning a console. Getting really tired of the saying “PC cost allot” Do i need a 1k alien ware computer fully customized to play games on the highest settings? No. Just a myth. All types of games work on the PC,but for the console? No. Not at all.

Console just cannot do it.

To visuals and power, PC will always have its hand up. PC can run triple even quadruple the resolution size how it’s on a console. Consoles cannot get upgraded but tend to just get updated. As with PC, graphic card keeps getting bigger and better. New graphic card is selling in the market every two weeks, you just cannot compare. I know, gameplay is always the key, but graphic are the one you are going to look at put in the “Amazing” factor. Another advantage, is that PC you are not restricted, you can upgrade whenever, not stuck with something that was cutting edge a year ago.

Usually console games come out with a PC version, opening many doors for patches, and modding community making a long-term progression within the in-game currency. As with console, you will just get “as is”. While PC offers true HD gaming, consoles use sometimes “sub HD” with very limited Anti-aliasing and Anisotropic filtering making PC many years ahead with graphics. Also, when consoles like (i.e ps3 and xbox 360 etc) looses its generation, it looses it’s library, which looses sells. Consoles is doing great in the business enduring for simplistic gamers,non-savvy,in other words,lazy worker in a chair. What the majority fails to mention is Online Subscription based models. WOW (World of Warcraft) reporting 11million subscribers, that alone potentially can earn 1.98 billion a year. Micro-transaction-Cashshop distribution earn their assets by promoting along with non-essential elements via micro-transaction. Very beneficial in western states such as Korea. One major factor of why PC is additionally loosing in “Privation” with industry’s loosing income they will commonly determine another determination to distribute their software or look for another way to cease privatization (CD key,safe CD,etc). That is why not many games are coming out in-stores for such matters. Another fact is 1billion computers being used around the world, 200million gaming computers, 1.5 billions are online individually, showing the huge amount of true potential of PC. My belief is if your a PC gamer and love the genre, stop pirating as it’s afflicting the industry to be far superior. It’s refraining them from investing extensive quantity of money and giving us some low-quality console port.

Consoles are for one task, adding less and less of diversity to the brand. If you have Xbox 360 network, you will only play with players/friends/family etc with Xbox 360. Theirs no way for a gamer to play with another player with a different console. Restricting its own network. While with PC, counter strike source for example: You can jump over from a different selections of servers of other players.

Final thoughts: Even both has it advantages and disadvantages, it’s all about personnel preference. Both has its flaws, both are good choices depending on your situation. Overall, I pick PC for the online community, social networking, MMOs,MMOFPS,Free two play games with cash shop mechanics.

Zodiac online, My first impression looking at the trailer/screenshots. It's very Colorful with many features. By looking at the screen shots/Video. It's 2.5 graphics wise.

You can choose from 12 characters, Which players can act like a Zodiac Envoys on a mandate from heavens. Pet evolution - You can have pets that involves into an egg and have to wait 5 online hours for it to evolve into your Pet. Your pet will have attributes: Attack-DEF-MA-MDEF-AP-HIT-DODGE. Your pet haves talents (Which are most likely skills you can use in battles)

Character attributes/aptitude - There's various of builds you can use on your character. You can experiment builds that are most useful to your needs. Example: Primary- Boosts HP and Physical Defence, Primary - Boosts Magic Attack and Magic Defence, Primary- Boosts Physical Attack and Physical Defence, Primary- Boosts Dodge and Speed. As you can see there's many builds you can experiential with that can make your character unique in battle.

Guilds - You can create your own or Join a guild. There's many events, Like "Guild fight". You can declare war on a guild up to 6-10 participates. You can put flags with different attributes. Example: Blue flag- Recharge physical defense and magic defense, Red flag- Recharge physical attack and magic attack, Orange flag- Recharage De buff resistance, Green flag - Recharge MP, Yellow flag- Recharge Hp. There's 20minutes for you to do army management.

Zodiac Online seems very fun and elegant with many features to keep you interested for a long time.

I'm am going to be getting Clear WIMAX By November 4th and going to be testing it for Online Gaming. I know Wireless is not always a Good priority to Game with. But, It promise a lot of Speed/Reliability. Going to be getting the faster Home 3-6 Down - 1mb Up. I will be finding the flaws and the Pros and Possibly Tips/Tricks on how your computer uses Clear Network. And speed tests and ping reliability. I will be testing this Clear WIMAX with (Killing floor,CSS,CS,CZ,Crossfire,K.O.S,Lost saga,L4D, (ETC) I will be showing Ping on different servers (from different locations) I will download the game and show you download speeds and In Game Ping also. The reason why I'm doing this test is to show everyone that you can Game on Wireless or not! and have a great experience or not! I will say things straight up and what needs to be told. (From a person that has been gaming with 3G, Cricket wireless) Yes me, And yes cricket wireless is crap. Why? Because i get throttled down my speed after 2 days of just browsing the internet. and i Supposedly have 5gb cap speed? Yeah right. This services is giving me upto 80kps down 10kps up. I can get WIMAX for the same price and 10x the speeds? Very Nice.

Dragon oath, I found this impressive Mmo that caught my eye. The theme is set in ancient china and game orientated around martial arts. Plus, It's based on a novel "Tian Long Ba Bu". What does it has to offer? Well while inspecting Dragon oath Interview. It offers, "Great In depth content, "countless systems", " features", "Quests and game plays that are unique" Too good to be true? Yes.

The part I loved about this interview

"Martin Tan:We are targeting all MMORPG players who want to make friends, play together, be a part of a huge community and enjoy quests-based MMORPGs instead of simple leveling up grinding ones. Therefore, "Dragon Oath" might not fit the best for those players who want to play alone without interactions with other players in the game.

On the other hand, if players want to experience group-oriented game plays, a lot of quests that replace much of grinding for leveling, crazy pet systems, 9 classes to select from, try out Chess system and Football system, amazing crafting systems with a vast size of maps to play, "Dragon Oath" will be the one for them!"

That it has many features to offer, Especially with it being orientated around social interaction and group orientated game play. I'm not a soloist kind of person, I love partying, Group battles, GvG and having a bunch of friends. Having a bunch of buds to play with is the key, That's the way i feel.

The graphics looks very beautiful and elegant, I won't be surprised that many low-end systems can run it on High spec or at least higher then Minimal.

Need for speed world. Woohoo, Can’t wait to hear more about this upcoming Mmo. I remember Need for speed most wanted. Probably one of my most favorite racing games of all time. One of my favorite feelings was the intensity when the police is chasing after you, So much hype and adrenaline.

Need for speed world offers a lot of customization,Vast amount of Race tracks, Game modes, and Competitive Play. The graphics looks Amazing from the HD quality Videos. I wasn’t able to Analyze the game play because I’m not able to play yet. But with many great feedback and Reviews, Need for speed is empathized to have excellent Game play, Socializing features, and Bragging rights.

Need for speed offers Free Roam, You can just ride around practicing your skills and crash into random objects. I really hope they introduce In Game voice chat, So i won’t have to type in the middle of the race, I can just talk.

Improve gaming Performance

Are you experiencing Lag? FPS Lag? Well, I got a couple Tips/tricks that should increase overall gaming performance, and decrease lag. FPS lag can be caused by Anti virus, Program Firewalls,Unnecessary Services/Processes running in the background. Spy ware and viruses can leach on system performance too. Make sure you run System Scan daily or At least twice a week.These are programs that i use, they are completely safe to download. Updating graphic card can give better performance. Remember stay updated with your latest Drivers, because not being up to date can cause problem with games. Such as Graphical errors, Slow performance, Game Freezing, and Low FPS

Set Visual Affects to best Performance

You can set visual affects to best performance to increase CPU speed which can drastically increase system performance by miles. My Computer > Properties > Advanced Tab > Performance Settings > Visual Effects Tab > Set to best Performance.

Increase Virtual Memory

Increasing your Virtual Memory Can increase your windows performance, Especially with Many applications and System Hogs that take up a lot of memory. Note: You can only increase Virtual memory if there's space in the Hard drive. Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory then set. 1.5x (multiply) times the size of your physical RAM. That how much you set the amount of space. Set Both Maximum and Initial.

Close Unnecessary Start up programs

Closing unnecessary programs can increase computers Resourses by terminating all the processes that runs in the start of system reboot. Start - Run - Msconfig - Start up - Un check any unnecessary Start up programs. To stop the program from running just uncheck the box, Apply, Reboot or Reboot later. You can change it back by just checking the box again.

System Tools

You can use your default Computer tools to increase Computer Overall performance by going to. Start up - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter. This will Organize your Computer Files and Boost up system performance. Disk Cleaner will clean all the mess in your computer. Like offline files, Recycle bin. Etc

Ping Issues

If your experiencing ping issues, Wireless can be the problem or You maybe far away from the servers. Try playing on closer servers, Or might be due to Slow ISP. If your a wireless user, Try decreasing Interference, Try moving it closer to the router. For DSL box, You can Take out the power cord, Wait 45seconds, Put it back in. Ethernet cable is better for online gaming in most cases, If your experience lag with wireless.

Set a priority to your games

You can set a priority in the task manager to your game process to increase resources given to it. Open game - ALT + Ctrl + Delete - Processes - Find your game process - Right click - Set above normal or High

Temporary fix for Ping issues
Windows XP solution - Run "Services" Scroll down - Disable "WLAN autoconfig"

Windows Vista solution - Run or search "Services" - Find Wlan Auto Config -Rirhgt click - Properties - Disable - Restart

This is affective software can surprisingly increase computer performance. It can detect Unwanted melware(Spyware,Adware,Virus) that Hogs on system resources and do malicious activity's. Spyware basically monitors you while your on the computer without your knowing. Adware download, plays, even display advertisement on your computer. Malwarebytes Scan and Clean the Melware off your computer, Paid version haves a Real Time Protection. This is a very good program if you think your computer is acting a little weird and computer overall performance is slowing down.

Smart Close

I found this very handy program to close unnecessary Programs/Services and close in the background so it won't use any resources. It's a gamble between Game booster or Smart Close. But, It's mostly off of personal preference. With smart close, I gained about 30-50 Frames per second Which is pretty neat. It protects important windows processes/services, and gives you the option to add a program to not close during the Wizard. You can save snap shots under your own name or it will automatically save the last snap shot for you so you can restore the previous one. During the wizard, It disables not only Your unnecessary processes/services, It disables your screen savor.

Easy to use, Simple interface, Protect a program you do not want closed, Protects Windows Critical Processes/Services.

Very good Program.

Ccleaner

Ccleaner is a cleaning toolk optimized to clean all the unnecessary junk in your computer making windows faster. It cleans Online history activity when surfing the internet. A free application that is very handy and light. Very effective, Easy to use Program. I recommend it.

GameBooster

I know i recommend Smart close because it's more effective Just from personal preference. But game booster have a neat Game Defrag that is highly needed. You can defrag any of your game files, Including wonderking! Game defrag can make your game run faster then usually. You might see faster start up or an increase of FPS. You can use is as your primary Program to close Windows services. But i still recommended using smart close to do that

Advance System Care

Everything all in one. PowerFul defrager that i personally like, Better then windows Defragmenter. It can optimize your system performance and Internet. It makes your pc more stable, But i do not recommend the Registry cleaner. Eusing is probably the best free one. You can pick up Iobit security 360 which is really good for a beta program. I have used it as my backbone protection. They have been improving system care alot, Tweaking there software to be better and more effective.

Internet security WOT - Web of trust.

On the internet these days, there's fake anti viruses, Spam sites, Untrusted sites, Fake registry cleaners,Virus sites, Scam sites etc With web of trust, Its a addon for your browser and alerts you when you run into these untrusted sites. When you search with google with this addon it tells you what are trust by having a green circle around it. A untrusted site haves a red circle around it. It also have a option when a site is untrusted it will display a message before entering the site to "Keep going it's trusted" or "Get the heck outta there" Not the exact words but yeah.

ReadyBoost

Ready boost makes Windows Start up faster and Makes application faster by using flash memory for cache.

Vista Anti-Lag

If your using Wireless and experiencing Lag Spikes, This program is help dramatically by modifying your wifi connection and reducing lag spikes/Peaks. It works on some computers, so good luck. Only for Vista

Just upgrading your computer to get better performance in games is an option. I recommend stores like Newegg.

First Game I became addict to was runescape. Been Playing for About 3Years. It was a blast meeting new players, Fighting Others in the wild, Going to falador Party, Creating My new House, Getting Dragon Items, Exploring New contents and Mini Games. I played this game for hours and achieved Level 90 Through out the years on and off. Do to Removing Wild, Kids running around trying to scam Players, Farmers, Friends Starting to quite, My account kept getting locked from some kid trying to Change Password on my account (Nub! Haha) I decided it was time to move on. Found a new game called Dofus, Turned based Strategies. Had so much Fun, Spend about 4 hours a day on and off. It has a great community, Fair amount of Free content. It became boring for about 2weeks because To have a magnificent Time playing, I had to Buy to get new content. Yeah it was unfair, They should have just implemented a Cash Shop and Established all the content free? Oh well, Got my 2 weeks worth.

Did my research on Professional Mmo portals such as, Mmosite, Mmorpg, Mmolife. I had to Step my Game up to 3D with better graphics. But, I couldn't just download these games and run it with a Low end computer. I had to Work hard for it, I had to do chores, Work in a Fashion Clothing Store, Save up my money for a decent Computer. My first 3D game was Wow. Wow Was amazing both Graphic wise and Game play wise. Wow got me addicted to the point where I miss dinner and Kept on playing. The addiction Got worse where My mom had to force me to come downstairs and Interact with Real Life! I had good time with Wow, Until it just got boring after a while of avid playing. Eventually, I tried to find something new that was Different then playing a role of a Fantasy character.

I've moved on to First First person shooter. My first Fps Were Counter strike source, Combat arms, Crossfire. I played competitively In combat arms and crossfire. Only reason I didn't in CSS because You had to have Vent, Had to be Very serious, Had to have experience in Scrims (Which I didn't have) I just wanted to be in a laid back clan. Most clans in CSS weren't like that. At least not the ones That i have found. I love in FPS, You had to use good team play and played a role of Either Terrorist or Military. I grew up watching Military Movies and God Father. So i was fascinated With these kinds of games. Crossfire, I played at least 300hours on Xfire, 500+Hours without Xfire. Combat arms, It was good. Just pick a Weapon that you like to use and Start Owning! XD The bad part of it, I was becoming Hostile, I liked being locked in my room. I didn't want any interruptions. (That's what my sister and Brother are good for) Didn't want to spend time with my family, Didn't like hanging out with my friends anymore. It all changed when my mom turned off the internet (NOEESSS)

Mercenary War, A new Military MmoFPS, Helding a title of being Intense and In depth Game play. Upcoming Mercenary Wars Has Many Game Modes to offer, Such as. Team Death Match, Search and Destroy, Preferably called Plant The Bomb. Destruction Race, Mercenary Team Death Match.

1. You basically Have one Side of the team that have a mission to Plant the Bomb, and the Other Team Trying to prevent them from planting the Bomb or c4. When the bomb is planted, You have a duration of time to Defuse from exploding that plantation. This mode Requires a lot of strategic Team play. One of my Favorites.

2. Players are organized in 2 teams, These 2 teams have to frag each other until the Frag limit is Complete.

3. Same as 2., But The 2 teams have targets you have to destroy to complete the mission.

4. They are bots that are Positioned/Mixed with Players. The side with the most Kills win or the frag limit that are Assigned, Whoever reaches the limit wins.

The combat is Is very Unique and intense, With different combined attacks to use on your enemy. Judging by the game, It will be very challenging and hard obstacles to surpass. The game Environment looks absolutely lovable and the way you can use Different Objects to pick up and smash your enemy with was Pretty cool. There's 4Classes. Warrior, Hunter. Star Trek Online Created by Cryptic Studios. With Tons of Star Trek fans, This game is going to flourish Quickly. I Really don't know why A lot of Fans Complain about the 15$ fee, It's looks like a Overall decent game with many Content to offer. But, Hopefully my Opinion will stand when the Release of the game comes out. The graphics looks Good, Could use a bit of improvement. You can choose to be a Warlord or a Captain which i found was pretty cool. As a captain you basically lead your Team Into space, Interact with Allies, Conquer your enemy's, Call shots, Explorer Galaxy's. As a Warlord You can Expand Your Empire on Different part of the galaxy's. Total Customization, This seem like a Big Feature is has to offer. Customizing my character from head 2 toe is a big thing to me. I love customizing my characters from other players and Stand out more in the crowed. I'll keep my eyes out on this one, Looks very promising.

Humans specialize In Long Spears or Heavy 2 handed Swords.

Seroine Specialize In Mesmerization or Archery

One thing I love about Karos Online, Is the weapon enchant and Forge craft. Upgrading armor and weapon is Simple/easy. The character movement was a big disappointment, Wasn't Really Smooth. The graphics aren't that bad, It's bearable to a point, Well it is f2p and it does got some good graphics for it being f2p. They really need to add a little more optimization in the game and Customization In the keyboard. PvP was another disappointment, You can Spam Potions, Really isn't much skill required. The game Lags here and there, But. Overall, It's decent for it being CBT, Hopefully there will be major changes.

Dungeon Fighters

This game is A old school classical Mmorpg, With a Arcade based Game play. This game is very promising and Kept me interested with the features that are provided Throughout the game Like, Hidden dungeons, Epic Quests. PvP was a challenge, You had to have skills. That's one thing I love about arcade style mmos. Dungeons had Level Difficulties, Found it very fun. Because I'm huge arcade fan Myself.

A.V.A - FPS
Another Promising game That haves a Bright Future in the F2P industry. The Graphics looks Very good, Using Unreal Engine. Hopefully the game play will make up for it's good graphics. Personally like games with really good game play and not a Graphics Hodge like most Players are. Because Good game play is always going to be a huge factor in games. Besides that, It's looks like a really promising game. Right Now, It's Published by IjjiI.

Wonderking - Side Scroller Mmorpg

Another game I have played During CBT I. Its a very on going game that haves lots of Potential For it's Full Release. It has Features like Mining, Crafting, Alchemist, Guild wars, Castle Wars, Regular PvP. Leveling was Very good, It haves many Quests with a great Plot. Had many Events, Which were exciting. This game has a bright future of being a great Side scroller mmorpg.

S.U.N Online- Console style game play mechanics. This game have stunning graphics, With a Decent story line. The game play was very unique, Especially with it being Console style.

It was hard to choose, But i Tried to recommend games with different style and game play. These are the games that I will be playing or have played and giving reviews hopefully.

This game is Pretty awesome, The refreshing interface, smooth Game Play. Ahh, Had so much fun flying in the plane, and owning with the tanks xD When I first Played the game, It was very users friendly. I Knew what to do instantly without any obstacles such as key spamming to find the controls (LOL) The Game Play was pretty slow, But not very very dramatic. The map are designed for you to use strategies and different tactics to win victory against your opponent. For me, the game was very exciting, And I recommend it to anyone.

This new arcade style Mmorpg Is absolutely amazing. The feel to it is ongoing, I couldn't stop playing. The arcade action style kept me very interested, The game play is Very unique. I had so much fun with PvP, My favorite class is beserker! I always loved big handed swords and High Damage output.

I found this game pretty interesting and Unique here's the short summery.

Emil Chronicle Online takes place in the land of Acronia. There exists three races; Emil (human race), Titania (angels), and Dominion (demons). In relation to our understanding of the worlds Tatania is above the world of Acronia, while Dominion is below it. In the distant future the civilization completely depleted the earth's valuable resources. In its search for new resources worlds which were never meant to be connected were bridged. Complete chaos ensued between the three races. Humans entered into the heavens and underworlds, realms never meant for them. From the aftermath of chaos was the emergence of a new history. There was a great effort to rebuild and regroup as each race reclaimed their rightful spot in the world.

I'll make sure I'll test out this game when OBT comes out!
