Catherine's Graduation Quilt

I have always made my dentist, who are dental students, a quilt when they graduate from dental school so this is the one I made for Catherine.

I usually know where they are going to go to practice, but in Catherine's case she has yet to decide, so I chose the National Parks panel that covers a wide area where she might land.

She's a runner so I quilted these runners on the bottom border.

At one point she was considering Montana but her dad did not like that idea as there are bears, so here is the bear that she is running away from in the corner of the quilt.

On another border it says The World is Wide Open For Wherever You Land.

Another corner has the date.

The other side border says Floss Brush Rinse Smile.

A top corner has a toothbrush.

The other top corner has a tooth.

And across the top it has her name and of course DDS!

Quilted with Canyon thread color. The panel was quilted with Ride Into the Sunset 011 pattern.
