Christian or Magician? (Revamped)

The 1^st thing that pops in my head as I start to write this was "In Jesus Name." This is the phrase that Christians use at the end of a prayer. It's similar to what a magician does when they are about to pull a rabbit out of a hat......Abracadabra!!!! The sad thing is a magician usually get what they ask for while many Christians are left hanging. There are books that many magicians read in order to learn how to do certain tricks. I remember as a kid I had a book that taught me how to do tricks. I was truly a magician in my childhood years! As I got older I was told by society that I had to become a Christian. I needed God in my life to help me make some things happen. The religious sectors of the Christian faith say that the most important thing that you have to learn in order to be good and know God is what's called the bible. Similar to the little magician's book I had as a kid. If you quote the right scripture you might get what you want!

At this point in my life I have to say that I have given up magic and dealings with the religion sectors. I see Jesus Christ as a great model so I will continue to carry His message unlike what I see from MANY "Christians" today. I no longer name it and claim it. I simply follow the laws and principles of LIFE (Created by God) and use a little common sense and that seems to produce a better way of life for me. I feel that I go back to magic when I get in sticky situations but that road seems to lead to taking stupid risk. Our hearts are connected to the Spirit of God and if we let that lead and guide us I believe that it will guide us to all truth. Is the true word of God written on your heart or is it in a book that's been translated by many?

Feeling Better

The secret to weight lose is exercising combined with good healthy food choices. Just to echo what others have said, you can't expect different results by doing the same things over and over. Sometimes you have to sit down and take some time to think things over. Pay attention to what you do daily. Realize what you do consciously and what you do out of bad habit. Perfection is an on going challenge.....You can only strive for it and striving for it everyday is a great purpose to have. Looking good looks better when you feel good. Feeling good happens when you decide to and when you do the necessary things that causes the sun to shine into your life. It's somewhat normal to just go with the flow and not make a conscious effort to do what's best for your body. Many are influenced from others instead of constantly being motivated by self to do what it takes to feel better. When you are motivated from outside sources that motivation doesn't seem to last long but when you make a decision in your heart it seems that no one can stop you! These are just my thoughts.

Life is made Deep

Life is a four letter word that can easily describe a three letter word, "God". This three letter word has an effect on so many people and it also has so many different opinions. God is associated with religion and religion is associated with controversy. I tend to look at God from a different perspective. I see God as "Life". Everything that has life is God! Many are layers away from seeing things from the essence of who we are because of what we were and still are being taught. If we can get down to the essence of what we all are it's the same thing. If we take away the mind/brain I wonder how we would act. We all came from a seed. Life is in the seed. Intelligence is in the seed. God/Life/Intelligence can not be separated from itself and nothing can be separate from life that has life. These may be deep statements, statements that may be hard to comprehend due to what we have been taught. I believe that life is simple because it is more constant than anything. We live outside of our essence because the truth has been complicated by those that want to take advantage of the ignore. The ignore aren't those that are dumb but those that look outside for answers instead of inside where all the answers lie. We must remember that life holds the intelligence to survive and thrive. Wrong information causes life to be a struggle.
