Today, I am incredibly happy to share a special milestone in my literary journey — the cover of my upcoming book, Pathe Pathe Anubhuti, has finally been revealed.

For me, this cover is more than just a design. It represents a journey — the roads I travelled, the places I explored, the people I met, the moments I experienced, and the memories that stayed with me.

Pathe Pathe Anubhuti is a collection of experiences drawn from life and journeys. Through its pages, I have tried to bring together moments of nature, villages, forests, travel, challenges, human emotions, and the little stories that often remain unnoticed in our everyday lives.

Every journey leaves something behind. Sometimes it is a memory, sometimes a lesson, and sometimes a story.

This book is my attempt to preserve some of those moments in words.

And now, after months of writing, shaping, and preparing, the journey is finally reaching its next chapter.

Successful Implementation of Forest Rights by Taladikiri Gram Sabha

(An Important Step After Recognition of Community Forest Resource Rights)

The recognition of Community Forest Resource (CFR) Rights under the Forest Rights Act (FRA), 2006 and the amended Rules, 2012 provides Gram Sabhas with legal authority to protect, conserve, manage and sustainably use their traditional forest resources.

These rights enable forest-dependent communities to take collective decisions regarding the management of their forests and forest produce while promoting environmental conservation and improving local livelihoods. An inspiring example of such community-led forest resource management is Taladikiri Gram Sabha under Kulurukumpa Gram Panchayat of Daspalla Block, Nayagarh District, Odisha.

Taladikiri is a small tribal village surrounded by forests and the Brutang River. The village has 26 households, including 19 Kandha families and 7 Ganda families. Cultivation on agricultural land located at the foothills of the forest, along with the year-round collection of various forest produce such as tubers, leafy vegetables, mushrooms, leaves, medicinal plants and other forest products, constitutes the major source of livelihood for the villagers.

The close relationship between the community and the forest has been an integral part of their traditional life and livelihood.Since 2019, with the support of NIRMAN, Taladikiri Gram Sabha initiated the process of claiming Community Forest Rights and Community Forest Resource Rights under the Forest Rights Act. The Gram Sabha prepared and submitted its CFR & CFRR claim to the District Administration, Nayagarh.

Alongside the claim process, the community also developed plans for the protection, conservation, regeneration and sustainable management of its Community Forest Resource area and undertook various activities with the approval of the Gram Sabha. After years of struggle and continuous efforts, on 24 December 2024, the District Administration, Nayagarh, issued the recognition title for Community Forest Rights and Community Forest Resource Rights in favour of Taladikiri Gram Sabha.

This recognition fulfilled a long-standing aspiration of the villagers and marked a significant achievement after years of collective efforts. After receiving CFR Rights, Taladikiri Gram Sabha did not limit the recognition to a legal document but focused on translating the rights into practical action. The Gram Sabha assessed the condition of bamboo resources within its CFR area and observed that bamboo had not been harvested for nearly 20 years. As a result, many bamboo clumps had become old, over-mature and dry.

The absence of regular and appropriate harvesting had affected the healthy growth, regeneration and productivity of bamboo resources. Recognizing this as a priority, the Gram Sabha discussed the issue in its meetings and decided to undertake regulated harvesting of old and over-mature bamboo in accordance with its Community Forest Management Plan.To ensure transparent and organized marketing of bamboo, the Gram Sabha contacted Romi Chemical Company, Cuttack, and entered into an agreement for the sale of bamboo harvested from its CFR area.

Under the agreement, a contract was signed for the sale of 25,000 bamboo poles and 25,000 bundles of bamboo. The primary objective of this initiative was not merely to generate income through bamboo sales, but also to create local employment opportunities, strengthen the financial and institutional capacity of the Gram Sabha, ensure proper management of bamboo resources, promote forest conservation and strengthen the livelihoods of local households.During the first year of bamboo harvesting, Taladikiri Gram Sabha generated an income of ₹1,57,936 from bamboo sales.

At the same time, local villagers were engaged in bamboo cutting, collection and transportation activities and earned ₹53,326. People from neighbouring villages were also engaged in the work and earned ₹48,722. This employment provided important livelihood and income opportunities for both the local community and neighbouring households. Thus, bamboo resources became not only a source of revenue for the Gram Sabha but also an important source of local employment and livelihood.

The initiative has not been limited to economic benefits; it has also contributed positively to the ecological health of the bamboo forest. The regulated harvesting of old and over-mature bamboo has created space within bamboo clumps for new shoots to emerge and regenerate. At the same time, the initiative has generated employment opportunities for villagers and people from neighbouring communities and strengthened the financial and institutional capacity of the Gram Sabha. These efforts have created a strong foundation for improving natural regeneration, enhancing bamboo productivity and ensuring the long-term sustainable management of the bamboo resource.

The experience of Taladikiri Gram Sabha clearly demonstrates that legal recognition of Community Forest Resource Rights under the Forest Rights Act, is not merely about receiving a rights title. The real success lies in translating those rights into action through democratic decision-making, planning and collective management by the Gram Sabha. Taladikiri Gram Sabha has assessed its forest resources, prepared management plans, established market linkages, generated local employment and taken community leadership in the sustainable management of its forest resources.

Today, Taladikiri Gram Sabha stands as an excellent example of how an empowered local community can protect its forests and biodiversity while strengthening the Gram Sabha, creating sustainable income and employment opportunities, and ensuring the long-term protection and management of forest resources for future generations. Its experience provides an inspiring model for other Gram Sabhas seeking to implement their rights under the Forest Rights Act. The experience of Taladikiri proves that

“Rights are not meant only to be received; transforming rights into action is the true identity of an empowered Gram Sabha.”

Community-Led Forest Conservation and Water Management Efforts in Duda Panchayat

Strengthened Through the Intervention of NIRMAN Odisha

Under the Duda Panchayat, the collective efforts of the Jarikibadi, Baijhari, and Badiring Jholi Community Forest Resource Management Committees (CFRMCs)—with active facilitation and technical guidance from NIRMAN Odisha—have significantly strengthened forest conservation, biodiversity documentation, and water management initiatives.

In the Sarnaju region near the Fagundei Hill, a detailed study and documentation of forest resources were conducted with support from NIRMAN Odisha. This included identifying various tree species, climbers, medicinal shrubs, wildlife, reptiles, and bamboo clumps, thereby preserving vital ecological knowledge for future planning. Alongside this initiative, two stone check-dams were constructed along the Kakari Nala stream, and soil bunds were created around small bamboo clumps to support natural regeneration.

Women from the village, encouraged and mobilized by NIRMAN Odisha, took a leading role in constructing a 20-foot-long, 6-foot-high, and 2.5-foot-wide stone bund over a forest stream originating from the Fagundei Hill—an important water source that flows for nearly eight months a year. This perennial stream acts as a lifeline for cattle, goats, buffaloes, forest wildlife, and leaf collectors who rest along the cool banks. The bund was built with a long-term vision of retaining water for extended periods, ensuring ecological balance while safeguarding the livelihoods and daily needs of the villagers.

Similarly, in Badiring Jholi, the forest resource documentation—carried out with technical assistance from NIRMAN Odisha—revealed the absence of Shalei and Kanta bamboo species, though 55 clumps of Singi bamboo were identified. While Singi bamboo is unsuitable for construction, it is locally used for crafting fine sticks for stitching Sal and Siali leaf plates, supporting the livelihood of women involved in leaf-plate making.

With the support of NIRMAN Odisha, the villagers collaboratively built two additional stone check-dams along the Badiring Jholi stream—one near a large Banyan tree and another close to the Thakurani shrine. The documentation also highlighted the absence of Char and Anla trees in the area, leading the Gram Sabha, along with NIRMAN Odisha facilitators, to plan plantation activities in the upcoming monsoon season.

These community-driven conservation activities—strengthened by NIRMAN Odisha’s intervention in planning, mobilization, and technical support—are playing a crucial role in sustaining water flow, enhancing paddy cultivation, improving ecological resilience, and protecting natural resources for future generations. The collaboration between communities and NIRMAN Odisha demonstrates how participatory forest and water management can create long-lasting environmental and livelihood benefits.

As part of the Living Landscape Program implemented by NIRMAN , a field visit was conducted to Kandakora and Kadalichuan villages under Kalyansinghpur block of Rayagada district, Odisha. The purpose of the visit was to understand the community’s collective efforts in natural resource management and the functioning of the Multi-Actor Platform (MAP) at the village level.

🤝 Learning from the Community

During the interaction, villagers, community leaders, and members of the Community Forest Resource Management Committee (CFRMC) shared their experiences and insights about the MAP process. They explained how the platform brings together different stakeholders to discuss local challenges, prioritize development needs, and find collaborative solutions. This participatory approach has strengthened coordination, enhanced problem-solving capacity, and ensured inclusive decision-making.

🌿 The Forest–Agriculture Connection

Villagers also highlighted the interdependence between forest and agriculture in their daily lives. They described how forests provide essential resources such as food, fodder, fuelwood, and income opportunities, while also maintaining soil fertility and water balance. Sustainable forest management has thus become a foundation for both agricultural productivity and ecological stability.

Field staff from NIRMAN were present throughout the visit, ensuring smooth coordination and logistical arrangements. Their support enabled meaningful interaction between the visitors and local community members, making the discussion more effective and outcome-oriented.

The visit provided valuable insights into how community-led institutions such as the CFRMC and Multi-Actor Platform empower rural communities to manage natural resources collectively. How Ranijhari Villagers in Nayagarh Are Reviving Lost Forest Tubers and Biodiversity

🌿 Community Conserves Forest Roots & Tubers in Raanijhari Village, Nayagarh

Welcome back to another article where I shared how Ranijhari Villagers in Nayagarh district conserves forest roots and community forest resource. Being a villager they are dedicated to conserve their community forest. Read well to know more and anything found wrong or queries then feel free to contact us.

🌱 A Community Effort for Nature

The people of Raanijhari village, under Duda Panchayat, Dasapalla Block, Nayagarh District, have taken a big step to protect their forest and natural roots. Members of the Community Forest Rights and Management Committee (CFRMC) joined hands to bring back the lost forest tubers (Kanda) in their area — especially in the Jeera Muduli and Barabati Karna forest zones.

🍠 Saving Vanishing Forest Tubers

Many natural food roots such as Masia, Kadaba, Lairi (Water Yam), Cheranga, and Kasha (Wild Yam) were slowly disappearing from the forest. These wild tubers are important for both local people and forest animals like wild boars, rats, and deer.

On 8th October 2025, the Gram Sabha of Raanijhari village decided to take strong action. All villagers — men, women, and youth — came together with tools like spades, hoes, and sickles. They collected the remaining roots from the deep forest and replanted more than 550 tubers in new places where they can grow safely.

🌳 Working Together for Forest Life

Along with the tubers, they also planted small Aragha trees and other local species. The activity took place in nearby forest areas like Mai Pahad, Tal Paju, Jeera Muduli, Marapada, Danda Saru, and Lapadi. The people noticed that these areas had lost many kinds of forest yams and roots in recent years.

Now villagers walk nearly 2 km to collect forest tubers — but they hope this will change soon with the new plantation.

🐗 Helping People and Wildlife

This activity is not only about planting roots. It will also bring back food for wild animals and keep the forest ecosystem healthy. The tubers will help animals like wild boar, deer, and forest rats survive naturally. It’s a simple but powerful way to save biodiversity and keep traditional forest food alive.

🤝 Village Pledge for Protection

At the end of the day, all villagers took a pledge to protect these planted tubers and look after the forest. They promised to care for nature and pass on traditional knowledge to the next generation.

The Raanijhari villagers have shown how local communities can make a big difference in forest conservation and sustainable living. 🌿

The much-anticipated Community Seed Festival 2024, organized by NIRMAN at Daspalla, was a resounding success, bringing together over 1,000 community members to celebrate sustainable agriculture, traditional seed conservation, and local knowledge sharing. This vibrant event, held with great enthusiasm, featured a distinguished lineup of guests and a wide array of activities that highlighted the importance of seed sovereignty and community-based agro ecological practices.

The festival was graced by the presence of several prominent dignitaries, including the chief guest, Trilochan Mahapatra, Chairperson of PPVFRA, who highlighted the significance of preserving indigenous seeds and promoting sustainable farming practices. Other notable speakers included Dr. Pratap Bhattacharya, Head of Crop Production at NRRI, who shared insights into innovative agricultural practices, and Prasanjit Mishra, Dean of OUAT Extension, who emphasized the need for bridging the gap between research and local farming communities. Introduction:

In the remote village of Salpang, nestled within the Karlapat panchayat under the Thuamul Rampur block of Kalahandi district, a remarkable story of resilience and empowerment is unfolding. This region, as per official records, stands out as one of the most backward and underdeveloped areas in Odisha.

Government officials seldom visit, and the local residents have long been deprived of basic amenities and rights. For their livelihood, the villagers have traditionally relied on farming, yet their produce rarely extends beyond their immediate needs. Some focus on cultivating vegetables, while others invest their efforts in paddy and millet cultivation. However, with the intervention of the NIRMAN organization with support of The Hans Foundation (THF) project, a new ray of hope has begun to shine.

The Nutrition Garden:

Remarkably, there is a complete absence of reliable water sources or irrigated land in Salpang. However, undeterred by these challenges, the villagers have managed to turn their small parcels of land into thriving "Nutrition Gardens." The term might be unfamiliar, but it aptly describes what these farmers have achieved. The story of one such pioneer, Ms. Lakshmi Majhi, and her husband, Ram Majhi, paints a

vivid picture of determination and success.

Lakshmi's Tale:

Lakshmi Majhi and her husband Ram Majhi are the parents of a four-year-old daughter. With Ram working as a day laborer, the burden of family upkeep rested on Lakshmi's shoulders.

Their story wasn't always one of prosperity. Before embracing the concept of the Nutrition Garden, they faced dire circumstances and survived on meager meals such as patal jhol and makhan jhol (tomato and pumpkin stew).

The Transformation:

However, everything changed when they learned about the Nutrition Garden initiative. Inspired by the idea, Lakshmi dedicated herself to creating a bountiful garden on a mere three decimals of land. What makes her achievement truly remarkable is her commitment to organic farming, eschewing chemical fertilizers in favor of cow dung and manure. Eggplants, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, okra, and various

green leafy vegetables now thrive in her garden.

Lakshmi's Impact:

Not only has this initiative enabled Lakshmi and her family to have a consistent supply of fresh, nutritious food, but it has also allowed her to sell surplus produce to neighboring villages. ମାଛ ଚାଷ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟୟବହୁଳ କାରଣ ଗୁଡିକ ହେଉଛି ଖାଦ୍ଯ, ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ପକ୍ରିୟା ଏଂବ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ମାଛ ପ୍ରଜାତିଗୁଡିକ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଯାପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ନୂଆ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତି ବିଦ୍ୟା ଅବଲମ୍ବନକରି ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲାକ ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ମାଛ ଚାଷ ଏବେ ଖୁବ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛି। ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପ୍ରଫେସର ୟୋରାମ (Yoram) ଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପଦ୍ଧତିର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ। ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀରେ ମାଛ ଓ ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡି ଚାଷ ଜଳକୁ ସଫା କରିବାର ଏକ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ମୂଲ୍ୟର ମାଧ୍ୟମ ଭାବରେ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ହେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲାବେଳେ ଏକକାଳୀନ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଉସ୍ଛ ଯୋଗାଇଲା। ସବୁଠାରୁ ଭଲକଥା ହେଉଛି, ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ କରିବାପାଇଁ ଅଳ୍ପ ବିନିଯୋଗ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ହୁଏ କାରଣ କେବଳ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ କିରଣ, ଶ୍ଵେତସାରର ଉସ୍ଛ ଏଂବ ପ୍ରଚୁର ପରିମାଣର ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ସୃଷ୍ଟିକରାଇବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ଆମଦେଶର ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ କରିବାସହିତ ବେକାରି ସମସ୍ୟାକୁ ଦୂର କରିବାର ଏହଏକ ନୂତନ ଦିଗବୋଲି କହିଲେ ଅତ୍ଯୁକ୍ତି ହେବ ନାହିଁ। ଚାଷୀ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ଓ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ରିଜଗାର ଯୋଗାଇବାରେ ଏହି ପଦ୍ଧତି ଏକ ଉତ୍ତମ ପନ୍ଥା ।

ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତିର ମୂଳତତ୍ତ୍ଵ:

ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ଫଟୋସିନ୍ଥେସିସ (Photosynthesis) ଦ୍ଵାରା ବାଳିଯାଇଥିବା ଖାଦ୍ଯ, ମଳ ଏଂବ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାର ଖାଦ୍ଯରେ ପରିଣତ କରିଥାଏ। ଏହି ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ହେଟେରୋଟ୍ରୋଫିକ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ କମ୍ୟୁନିଟି(Heterotrophic Bacteria community) ଗଠିତ ହୋଇଥାଏ, ଯାହାକି ଫ୍ଲକ (Floc) ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ । ଏହି ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ କମ୍ୟୁନିଟି ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନ (nitroge) ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁ କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣକରି ଆଲ୍ଜି ଠାରୁ 10 ରୁ 100 ଗୁଣ ବିଘଟଣ କରି ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାର ଖାଦ୍ଯରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ କରେ। ତେଣୁ ପ୍ରାୟତ କାର୍ବନ ଓ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନର ଅନୁପାତକୁ 12-15:1 ରଖାଯାଇଥାଏ। ପାରମ୍ପାରିକ ଚାଷ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକର ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାର 25 ପ୍ରତିଶତ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ମାଛ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥାଏ ଏଂବ ବଳକା ଖାଦ୍ଯ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନ ଭଳି ଅଜୈବିକ ଖତରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ଆମୋନିୟମକୁ ମାଇକ୍ରୋବାୟାଲ ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାରରେ ପରିଣତ କରେ ଯାହା ତାଳସ୍ତର ମାଛ ମାନଙ୍କଦ୍ବାରା ଖାଇପାରିବ, ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତି ଏହି ସଂଖ୍ଯାକୁ ଦ୍ଵିଗୁଣିତ କରିବାରେ ସକ୍ଷମ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତିଗୁଡିକ ରୋଗର ବିସ୍ତାର ଏଂବ କାର୍ଜ୍ୟକାରିତାକୁ ହ୍ରାସ କରିଥାଏ ଏଂବ ଏକକାଳୀନ ଉନ୍ନତ ଜଳ ଗୁଣବତ୍ତା ଏଂବ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଉପଲବ୍ବ୍ଧତା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ମାଛର ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟରେ ଉନ୍ନତି ଆଣେ।

ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ କୁଣ୍ଡ/ପୋଖରୀ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି :

ଯେଉଁ ଚାଷୀ ମାନେ ବାୟୋଫ୍ଳକରେ ନୂଆ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରଥମେ HDPE lined ପୋଖରୀ କିମ୍ବା ସିମେଣ୍ଟ ଟାଙ୍କି କିମ୍ବା FRP ଟାଙ୍କି ରେ ଚାଷ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ଯେଉଁଠିକି ମାଟି ଓ ପାଣି ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବାଦ୍ବାରା ପାଣିର ଗୁଣବତ୍ତାର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୁଏନାହିଁ। ଏହାଛଡା ଟାର୍ପୋଲୀନ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଜାରି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଛୋଟୋ ଛୋଟୋ ଟାଙ୍କି ଦ୍ଵାରା ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ମାଛ ଚାଷ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ। ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକରେ ଚାଷ କରିବାପାଇଁ HDPE lined ପୋଖରୀ ଏଂବ ଉଚାଳିଆ ହୁଡା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ବାହାର କରିବାପାଇଁ ସେଣ୍ଟ୍ରାଲ ଡ୍ରେନେଜ ସିଷ୍ଟମ (central Drainage system) ର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜରୁରୀ। ଯଦି ବଡ ପୋଖରୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି ତେବେ ଆପଣ ବେଳେବେଳେ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ କାଦୁଅକୁ ବାହାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତଳ ଡ୍ରେନ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ନିୟମିତ ଭାବରେ ଶ୍ଵେତସାର ଦିଆଯାଉଥିବାରୁ ଏହା ବିଶେଷ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ, ଯାହା ପୋଖରୀରେ ଅଧିକ କାଦୁଅ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଥାଏ। ଦ୍ଵିତୀୟ ବିକଳ୍ପ ହେଉଛି ପୋଖରୀ କାଦୁଅକୁ ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକରେ ରୂପାନ୍ତର କରିବାପାଇଁ ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ରିଆକ୍ଟର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବା।

ପୋଖରୀ ବା କୁଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କରିସାରିବାପରେ ଏରେସନ (Aeration) ଉପରେ ବିଶେଷ ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦେବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ପାଣିରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ସ୍ତର ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତ ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ କୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଲଗାତାର ପାଣିଘୁରୁଥିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ, ନହେଲେ ପାଣିରେ ବହୁପରିମାଣରେ ଆମୋନିୟା ଓ ମିଥେନ ବଢିଯାଇପାରେ। ଏହାକୁ ରୋକିବାପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ ପୋଖରୀ ବା କୁଣ୍ଡ ଗୁଡିକରେ ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଥିବା ଜନ୍ତ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଟ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲଗାଇବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତି ପ୍ରତି ଲିଟର ପିଛା 6 ମିଲିଗ୍ରାମ ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ କରେ ଏଂବ ହେକ୍ଟର ପ୍ରତି ଅତି କମରେ 30 ଅଶ୍ଵଶକ୍ତି (Horsepower) ଅମ୍ଳଜାନ ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଆବଶ୍ୟକ କିନ୍ତୁ କୁଣ୍ଡର ଉତ୍ପାଦକତା ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରି ଏହିସଙ୍ଖ୍ଯା ହେକ୍ଟର ପିଛା 200 ଅଶ୍ଵଶକ୍ତି (Horsepower) ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପହଞ୍ଚିପାରେ। ପ୍ୟାଡେଲହ୍ଵିଲ ଏରେଟରଗୁଡିକ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ବିଶେଷ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ହୋଇଥାଏ ଏଂବ ଏହାକୁ ଏପରି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଯାହାଦ୍ୱାରା କୁଣ୍ଡ ବା ପୋଖରୀରେ ଏକ ଘୂର୍ଣନ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୁଏ।

ଯାଁଳ କିସମ ଓ ଗଚ୍ଛିତ ସଂଖ୍ୟା :

ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ଚାଷ ପାଇଁ ଟିଲାପିଆ, ଦେଶୀ ମାଗୁର, ଶିଙ୍ଗୀ, କଉ, ଜଳଙ୍ଗ ଭଳି ମାଛ ଚାଷ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଅଟେ। ଯଦି ରୋହି, ଭାକୁର ଏଂବ ମିରିକାଳି ଛାଡିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁବେ, ତେବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜାଆଂଳ ସଂଖ୍ୟା କମ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ଧଳା ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡିକୁ ଏହି ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ଚାଷ କାଲେ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭବାନ ହୋଇପାରିବେ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟତ 500-1000 ପୋଷ୍ଟ ଲାର୍ଭା/ଘାନା ମିଟରରେ ଛଡ଼ାଯାଏ ଏଂବ ସେଥିରୁ 10-30 ମେଟ୍ରିକଟନ/ହେକ୍ଟର ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡି ଏଂବ 1-400 ମେଟ୍ରିକଟନ /ହେକ୍ଟର ମାଛ ଅମଳ ମିଳିଥାଏ । ଏହି ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ଲାଭ ପାଇବାକୁ ହେଲେ ଅତିକମରେ 6 ଟି ଜାଆଂଳ ପ୍ରତି ବର୍ଗମିଟରରେ ଛାଡିବା ଉଚିତ।

ଖାଦ୍ଯ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ :

ଜାଆଂଳ ଛାଡିବାର ପ୍ରଥମ କିଛିଦିନ ଶରୀର ଓଜନର 1.5-3% ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଦେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ଖାଦ୍ଯର ପରିମାଣରୁ ଜାଆଂଳର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅନୁସାରେ କମ କିମ୍ବା ବେଶୀ କରିହେବ। ମାଛଚାଷରେ ଶତକଡା 35-40 ଭାଗ ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାରଯୁକ୍ତ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଏଂବ ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡି ଚାଷ ପାଇଁ ଶତକଡା 20-30 ଭାଗ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ହୋଇଥାଏ । ପ୍ରାୟତ 95% ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ଓ ସାର ଦ୍ଵାରା ପାଣିରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥାଏ। ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ କାର୍ବନ ଓ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନର ପରିମାଣକୁ ସମତୁଲ କରିବାପାଇଁ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁ ବାହାରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପୃଷ୍ଟିସାରଯୁକ୍ତ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ପରିମାଣକୁ କମ କରି 25 ପ୍ରତିଶତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୀମିତ ରଖିବାକୁ ପଡିବ।

ବାୟୋଫ୍ଲକ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବାର ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା :

କୁଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିସାରିବାପରେ ପାଣିକୁ ଛଣି ଭର୍ତି କରିବା ଦରକାର । ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନ, ଫସଫରସ ଓ ବାୟୋଫର୍ଟିଲାଇଜର ସାରର ପ୍ରଯୋଗକରି ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ସାଧାରଣତ ପ୍ରଥମେ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋଜେନର ପରିମାଣକୁ ବଢାଇବା ପାଇଁ ମାଛ ଖାଦ୍ଯ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ। ପରେ କାର୍ବନର ପରିମାଣ ବଢାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଗୁଡ କୁ 1-3 ଦିନ ଅନ୍ତରରେ 2-3 ସପ୍ତାହ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦିଆଯାଇଥାଏ। ଗୁଡ ବ୍ଯତୀତ କୁଣ୍ଡା କିମ୍ବା ଇଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଡର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଇପାରିବ। ତାପରେ ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ପାଣିର ରଙ୍ଗ ମାଟିଆ ହୋଇଯାଏ ଏଂବ ଫ୍ଲକ ସୃଷ୍ତିହବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ଏହି ଫ୍ଲକକୁ ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଭଲଭାବେ ଏରେସନ ବନ୍ଦୋବସ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିଥାଏ ଏଂବ HDPE lining ର ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ। ପ୍ରୋବାୟୋଟିକ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଦ୍ଵାରା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ହିତକାରୀ ଜୀବାଣୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇ ମାଛ ବା ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡିର ରୋଗ ନିରୋଧକ ଶକ୍ତି କୁ ବଢାଇବାରେ ସହାୟକ ହୋଇଥାନ୍ତି। ଫ୍ଲକରେ ଥିବା ହିତକାରୀ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ ଜୈବିକ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁ ବିଘଟନ କରି ବିଷାକ୍ତ ଗ୍ଯାସର ପରିମାଣକୁ କମ କରିଥାଏ।

ମୂଲ୍ୟ-ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ଫିଡ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ |
କୃଷକ ମାନେ ନିଜ ଇଛା ମୁତାବକ ମାଛ ଚାଷ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚୟନ କରିପାରିବେ |
