Free Seo Tips – Titles are very important in a page.

Yahoo for example gives more value to what’s in the title than google does.

So let’s say you are optimizing a specific page for Boat Motors but in that page you also talk about Boat Supplies and Brands.

Let’s say your top keyword here is Boat Motors, this is how you need to organise your Title:

Boat Motors | Boat Supplies | Boat Brands

Boat Motors – Boat Supplies – Boat Brands

Being the 1º term on it Boat Motors, which is what will have more weight on the Search Engines.

Plus that allows you to rank for 3 different terms, so you’ll have 3 more chances of ranking.

So for our SEO Quickie of today remember:

Target always more than 1 keyword on your Title
Place your main keyword first, than the others
Make sure to make your Keyword Research to be sure that you’re tapping into a researched group of keywords (you can use Free Wordtracker for that)

In the last article I explained you the basics to make a successful marketing article, so now it’s time for me to tell you where is the best place for you to market it.

This is going to be a really short lesson, as the great majority of you already know the best place where to submit your article. Yes, that’s right. Ezine Articles is.

That is the best Article Directory out there, why is that?

Simply it is the one that gets the big majority of traffic. Ezine Article is like the Google of the Article Directories.

Plus it’s the one article that gives your articles the maximum exposure in the search engines. Yes, Google loves the articles from Ezine Articles.

So that’s the best place for you to Market you Articles, most of the other directories won’t even get you a fifth of the exposure you will get from Ezine.

Yet don’t limit yourself just to send your article to Ezine Articles. You need to blast it for as many directories as you can, that will not just give you more exposure as it will give you Traffic and Backlinks as well. All of that for free. Just from one article distributed to 30 article directories will have the same effect as 3 articles sent to Ezine Articles alone.

Today I’m going to tell you about How to Market your Marketing Article using free and fast methods.

Let’s start from the basics. First you’ll need to write an article promoting a product or a service.

So how is that you are going to make your article look sharp and turn it into a viral sales machine? Just follow this guide and you’ll be fine.

Title

Mention the keywords or term that you are targeting in your Title. Don’t over crowed it doe.
Use simple eye catching triggers like:

7 Simple Steps to
6 Tips to
3 Simple Rules to
10 More common Mistakes
Secret Formula to
The Secret to … Revealed

Use multiple sub-headlines

You need to break your article into tiny chucks, otherwise most readers will just scroll your article all the way to the bottom and most of them will leave without even seeing your Resource Box.

Article Length

Make sure your article has between 400 and 600 words.

Fewer than 400 words will make it look empty and over 600 words will boor your readers and most of them will likely leave.

Make sure to include only information about the topic you are writing about. Don’t place any links at the body of the article, leave that for the Resource Box.

Most Article Directories will delete your article if you place links within the Article Body.

Resource Box

This is where you harvest the results of your work. You have to use it carefully because this is the only change you have to convince the readers to click on the link and go over to the website you are promoting.

Don’t include information about you in the Resource Box.

The readers don’t want to know anything about you; they simply want to know what’s in it for them.

So you need to create 2 lines at most, really attractive sentence that promises to resolve a big problem that you mentioned in the article.

One thing that I was firstly concerned about when I started creating websites was the fact that my Google Page Rank was 0, and I was seeing all other websites ranking on top of Google having PR 4 and even higher, obviously that’s hard to compete against.

That was before I came across a God Bless thing called Article Directories.

Instead of just uploading my articles to my websites and making some forum and Blog posts about it, I started to write a shorter version of the articles and submit them to some Article Directories, leaving some links to my website in the middle of the article.

In no time my PR had increased to from 0 to 1. And that’s because people used my articles in their websites and left backlinks to my site.

I had over 40 backlinks just 3 days later and submitting just 2 articles to 4 Article Directories.

Not mentioning the traffic I received from all that.

Get Traffic: Social Bookmarking

One of the fastest ways to get Traffic is trough Social Bookmarking.

So, what is it and how is it that it works?

Social Bookmarking is a Web 2.0 feature and it exist long ago before Web 2.0 also, but now you can get even more out of it.

It’s also quite simple to use, so I’m going to lead you trough some processes.

You can get Traffic trough:

Feeds (Atom or RSS feeds)
Social Networks (Facebook, MySpace, Hi5, Stumble, Technorati, Furl…)
Social News (Digg, Newsvine, Reddit…)

These are the major 3 Categories where you can get Traffic.

In a later article I’ll teach you detailed ways to get traffic using every single one of the websites mentioned above.

Now I just want to give you some Traffic numbers that these Social Bookmarking websites have to offer.

Just by submitting little portions of the articles I post on this blog, I get over 30 visits on the first day from Digg alone.

Using MySpace and Hi5, I get over 50 unique visitors on a daily basis and when I send a simple message to my added friends there, I just got spikes of over 200 unique visitors from a single day, and the traffic just keeps coming over and over again.

These are just a few ways to get Traffic to you Website, I already showed you some numbers and that’s from the maximum of 5 minutes of work submitting the posts to Digg and Sending messages to my added friends.

Why Visits are Not Converting into Clicks?

Why Visits are Not Converting into Clicks?

That’s a super asked question that comes with a super simple answer. It’s because people are misplacing their Ads.

Ok, theirs people out there that have great placement and huge amounts of traffic yet visits still don’t convert into Clicks. Usually that’s because the Ads being displayed are either not appealing or are not related to the subject of the page.

The First thing you should ask your self is. Do I have Traffic?

And the answer to that question is NO, unless you receive at least 250 unique visitors and about 1000 page views a day.

If you don’t have this kind of Traffic you can’t tell if it’s the placement or the lack of Traffic that is affecting your CTR.

In case you have the traffic, you just have to keep changing the placement until you hit the jackpot.

According to Google’s Heat Map, and it’s really proven that it works, the best placements are just bellow you navigation panel or main banner and blended in your sideways navigation panel as well.

So, if you are in this situation, don’t worry too much about it, just keep changing the placement in a daily or weekly basis and I’m sure you will improve you CTR a lot.

If you just don’t have the Traffic, that’s too bad, but next week I’ll try to solve that problem for you with a new post entirely devoted to Traffic Generation.

Adsense High Paying Keywords

Today I came across a forum post that were listing some High Paying Keywords for Adsense.
So I've done some digging to find out How profitable those keywords are. And What I found out is that they where not that hight paying.

The keywords list was this:

domains yahoo

domain registration yahoo

domain yahoo

domain name yahoo

yahoo web hosting

benchmark lending

personal yahoo

yahoo personal ads

car credit

And from those keywords I've done a little investigation in a few and I came up with this:

domains yahoo >> $0.79 - $3.11 >> 6 advertisers >> 2 to 10 clicks a day

domain registration yahoo >> $1.05 - $10.81 >> 18 advertisers >> 100 clicks a day >> 380.000 searches a day

yahoo web hosting >> $1.51 - $25.24 >> 57 advertisers >> 110 clicks a day >> over 2 Million searches a day

car credit >> $1.20 - $19.99 >> 57 advertisers >> 150 clicks a day >> almost 10 Million searches a day, yet decreasing by 35% a month

So, what we are looking for is a hight priced Keyword, with lots of demand (searches), lots of advertisers and few clicks. That's because the more clicks that keyword gets, the less you get payed, due to earning splittings.

Is Adsense the Best for YOU?

Some very common questions these days are:

"Is Adsense going to make me money?"

"Is It to Difficult to Set up Adsense on my Site/Blog...?"

"Will I make at least 100 bucks a month?"

I'm going to answer all this for you very honestly, starting with this. It is difficult to receive an Adsense check every month and it is very difficult to make anything like a job payroll out of it.

So, Is Adsense going to make you any money? Yes it will.
I believe everyone can make at least 100 bucks in 6 months, it's already a start right.
Is not much but you will improve your placement, your color palettes and your relationship with your visitors.

IT WILL NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT.

You'll have to work very hard to make your first 10 dollars, after you pass that barrier I believe you can go for the 1 dollar a day mark.

So, Is It to Difficult to Set up Adsense on your Site/Blog? No it is NOT.

You can apply to an Adsense account and 2 to 3 days later you get your confirmation, then you just need to go over Adsense Setup, Get your ads, pick a format and a palette and you get a code, just copy the code and past it on your Site/Blog and start experimenting formats, colors and placements every day in all the pages.

Split Testing is the best thing you can do to find out what works best for your Site/Blog.

You see, The Adsense game is hard, and basically it all comes down to Traffic.
You will have to spend weeks and months after traffic, getting links to your Site/Blog, getting people to know what are you providing there, getting better Search Engine positions, etc.

Overall

Adsense is a tough game, you'll need lots of testing to find out what works best in your current Site/Blog and you'll have tons of work to do when it comes to Traffic and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

I do recommend Adsense to all of you, it's a very simple to use program that pays you every time someone clicks your ads, so you don't spend a dime and might make a buck.
