USING YOUR BEGINNING TO CREATE GREAT FUTURE

The beginning of any thing we do in life is very important. As a matter of fact, beginning has a way of affecting your future positively or negatively. For example, the beginning of building a house is laying the foundation, now lets also take cognizance of the fact that there are difference types of building, if you raise a three story building on a one story foundation, that building will surely collapse in future time.

How you begin your new year, matters a lot, do not begin this New Year lackadaisically, because how well you will do this year may depend it. The following principles can help you start well:

1. Appreciation: Give thanks to God, for keeping and letting you come into the New Year. People died by your side, I mean people you started 2011 with, died even in your hands, before your eyes, some died in auto crash, plane crash, naturals disaster, sickness, some slept and never woke up again. A lot of things happened to you and around you but you are still alive. You really need to appreciate God. Secondly. There are people who helped you achieve something (s) last year, it will also be wise to call them, send text massage or meet them one on one and appreciate them for helping you count success in 2011.

2. Stock taking: Sit down and analyze yourself, your business and your academic, your relationship with people, your attitude, your marriage and your job. You will discover that there are areas you made success and there are also areas you failed, thank God for those areas you made success and say bravo to yourself for taking bold step that led you to success. Now, those areas you failed, do not cast blame on anybody, take blame for your failure and kill it right there. Do not carry it over into the New Year. What you need at this point is to think of fresh ideas on how to achieve those things you could not achieve last year, one new idea in your business can change it for the best. Just think.

3. Write down the thing you want to achieve in 2012 in the order of your scale of preference, draw a plan of how you are going to achieve them. If you have projects you started last year you did not finish, do not abandon them rather continue from were you stopped and keep doing it until you finish it.

4. Pray to God for help and grace to achieve your goals.

NB: It does not matter how big or small you started, but how well.

With this you can be sure you have started your 2012 very well and you will surely end it well.

THE BURNING HUT

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed fervently for GOD to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. One day after scavenging for food ...he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger. "GOD, how could you do this to me?" he cried. Early the next day he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.
LESSON: It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because GOD is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain, and suffering. God is sovereign and nothing takes Him by surprise. There is nothing you pass through that He cannot handle. When He is silent, it does not mean He cannot handle it, He is only planning to make you the winner. Time is His tool, for He makes all things beautiful in His time. When you can’t understand God, keep still, worship and wait, He is never late. Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of GOD. You may want to consider passing this on, because you never know who feels like their hut is on fire today...
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans.8:28.
The remaining days of this year will release to you, a miracle that will send you into the new year with laughter. It is not over until you win. YOU WILL SMILE AGAIN.

Still, you need to know what gets you out of bed in the morning when it is difficult. That’s what motivates you. What motivates you? Do you know?

3. Do The Right Things
Oh, the huge debate on doing things right and doing the right things. Don’t get into such arguments. It’s useless. What’s useful though is being able to practice them and use them to your advantage. Do the right thing when the time calls for it. Be guided by your moral compass, if you feel your ethical standards are suspect, well, put them in check. The higher you climb the more these standards will be called into action.

4. Do Things Right
Each and every system is in place so that there is a smooth flow of work. It ensures productivity, it ensures efficiency. Do it right. It means look into the details that goes in and out of the system. Someone needs to attend to the details. Because details are tedious, lazy people forgo such tasks. If you want to stand out, start doing this.

5. Stay On Track
Stay focused on what you want out of your career and do it well today. What matters is today. Not yesterday, that’s gone and no one bothers. Not tomorrow, because that’s too far away. You will be judged for the work done today. Do well on what needs to be done today and tomorrow will sort itself out. Yesterday, that’s too late to fix. Stay on track.

6. Don’t Worry About 5 Years From Now
Does it mean you do not plan? No, it doesn’t mean that. Don’t let plans that are too far away bother you. Again, what matters is doing well what matters now. Don’t get too agitated with things that aren’t working too well and you have no control over. Go with the flow. In the grander scheme of things, it probably does not even matter five years from now.

Life is full of ups and downs. they say, i believe that but the fact is that there are too many people in the downs of life than there are in the ups.
It takes working hard for you to be in the ups of life. you must distinguish yourself before people can look up to you, and people look up to you only when you are up, we are all ordinary but you can do extra ordinary thing to become extra ordinary man. Your background does not matter here, nothing can limit if you don't limit yourself.
There is no limit to how up you can get to if you stand up today. You can become the eyes with which your family and community will see the good things of life.

What you need to do now is to leave your comfort zone, take a step out of where you are now, take a decision never to look back until you see yourself on the top where people can look up to you. Whatever you can very well, you can get to the top with, just put your strength, might and soul to it. get counsel from experts, work to make connections, be focus and always pray. definitely!!!!!! you will see yourself among the few people in the ups of life.

Champions think future, so if you really want your name to be heard
aloud, you must have long term goal. A goal you are expecting to achieve
in 5, 10, 15 or more years time. Make sure you write it down clearly, plan well

Before God put Adam in the garden, he formed him.
There is a purpose of preparation God takes us through in
order to make what we need to be. God must deal with our
inconsistencies, personality, area of distrust, unresolved
childhood issues, scars flaw etc.
How long does it take? Only God knows.
Admit it even at your age don’t you still recognize some
childish ways in your life? Anybody would have given up on
you, but God has plans and he is committed to it.
We should all wear a sign that says: “work in progress”.
Come what may in life, be mindful of: work in progress.
You must pass through processes before becoming finished goods.

The Bible says the lord “formed man out of the dust of the
ground” (Gen 2:7) what’s God working with? “Dirt” And the
tools he uses to form you are the experiences you go through
in life. They shape and alter you. And the more you try it your
own way, the longer the process takes. It may take you five
years to quit people-pleasing or ten years to stop feeling sorry
for yourself, or twenty years to stop reliving your childhood.
All the while God is telling you “stop it” and you are saying
“yeah I will be better” then finally a crisis happens and the
truth hits you. At that point you say “you know what? I’m going
to forget those things which are behind and start reaching for
things which are before.

MR ROSE IN HELL

There was a woman called Mrs. Rose in a small town called "Enyi" in this small town, there is a church, and Mrs. Rose happened to the richest person in that church and also the eyes with which they see, Mrs. Rose will always give to the poor in the public, gives huge amount of money in the church for Gods work and in the community for development, and people will praise her.

One day, Mrs. Rose died; in fact it was like the day of Docas of the Bible, after Mrs. Rose was buried, a young man dreamt where he died, and in his dream, an angel took him into a very beautiful place, in that place, he saw many people rejoicing but he did not see Mrs. Rose, he became so worried that he told the angel " there is a woman I am looking for" and the angel asked him the name of the woman, he said Mrs. Rose, the angel took him to a large and beautiful seating room, and brought out a big book, they started searching for the name "Mrs. Rose" but from the beginning of the big book to its end, Mrs. Rose were not found, the angel took him to a very handsome man, seated in a golden throne in a glittering palace, and he complained to the man who dressed like a king.

The man gave them another big book, almost at the end of their search, at the last page of the book, behold the name "Mrs. Rose", and the young man jumped in happiness and said to the angel "I told you she is here", but in disappointment, the angel told him that the people whose name are in this book are the people who are in the place of teeth gnashing, immediately the young man cried with a loud voice and said noooo she can not be there, She was a very good woman, she gave to the work of God, provided for the needy, donated money to the community, how can she do all this things and be there. He pleaded until the angel started pleading to the king on his behalf and after a while, the king decided to give Mrs Rose a second chance and ordered the angel to go get Mrs. Rose out of the pit. The angel took a very long rope and went to the pit with the young man, when they got there, the angel laid the rope down into the dip pit and called with a loud voice "Rose", a faint voice answered and said "I am here sir" the angel told her " this rope is for you. Hold on to it and climb up so that you can get out of the pit, she was glad to have that opportunity, and without hesitation she held the rope and started climbing with joy.

Mrs. Rose climbed and climbed until she was about two fit out of the pit, she now looked down and saw that other people are also climbing up with her, she said to them "why are you climbing up with me? This rope is for me alone, all of you must go down known" she started kicking them on the head saying "go down, go down, go down, go down" in the process of kicking other people, she loosed her grip to the rope and fell back into the deep pit shouting NOOOOOOooooooo. The angel gradually pulled up the rope in disappointment, and the young man cried in agony, the king came and with a gentle voice he said to them, "This is what Mrs. Rose was doing when she was alive on earth, she only gave in the public so that people will see her as a rich woman and praise her, she provided for the needy to attract love and respect for her self, she did not do all that in righteousness. She was an obstacle to other people's progress, she wanted only herself to be seen, she never allowed other people to come up and that is why she is in that pit, even when she has been given a second chance, she could not still repent. She has exhausted her chances of repentance. The young man cried and cried until he woke up from his dream.

We must be careful the way we live our lives, because after mans marking scheme, God has his own marking scheme and if he does not mark us right, we have failed. He has a purpose for bringing us into this world and I believe that it is to make the world a better place for humanity by promoting love, peace, unity and living a God fearing life. If we do not live to achieve this four factors, it means that we are a disappointment to our generation and to God our creator. We are the people to make the world a better place and the time is now, so let's work harder with sincerity, we are not far from Mr. Victory

Champions deny themselves the right to quit from any goal
they want to archieve in life.
It may interest you to know that in the process of archieving
a goal, you must meet chanllanges that will suggest "QUIT" to
you, but as a matter of fact, it is only a suggestion, so it now
depends on you to accept or reject it. My kind advice to you as
a champion in making is: never accept the suggestion to quit
because champions never quit, most times when the challenge is
thougher, that is when you are closer to archieving you goal.

You also need to note that the dept of your challange in life
determines the hight of your success. when you are meeting
greate challanges it simply means that your archievement will
be greate. If you have this at the back of your mind, you will
see quiting as an enemy of success and that is what it is.
Quiters has never archieved anything in life and will never do.
When you make your, plans do not make provision for quiting.

You are like a raw material in the refinary and you must pass
through processes to become a finished goods. some process can
be mild while some are harsh and painful but both will make you
a champion at the end. While you are still in the refining
process, do not abort yourself please dont quit.

CHAMPIONS DONT SHIFT BLAME.

Every one can blame anybody for failure but the truth is that
casting blame on people will not make you become better rather,
it will make you loose responsibility of the things you should
do for your own good.
I come from a city where people blame their uncle, father,
mother, aunty, frinds and relations for not helping them.
It affected me also, when things were so bad and though for my
family, as a litle child then, i began to blame some members of my
family who were well to do. But as i was growing up, i discovered
that i do not need their help to become a champion, i realy needed
help but not neccessarily from them. I only needed to discover
the potentials in me and how to utilise them. Today, i am better
than most of them and their children.

Champions dont shift blame at all. Do not blame anybody for not
helping you, help yourself, think hard and produce positive
result. Note this: if you dont think, you will sink in this wild
world. Champions see blame factors as "challange", just sit up
and face your challanges, stop blaming witches and wizards.
If you realy want to be a champion, blame yourself in all and
remember to pick yourself up when you fall, just keep moving.
SOON, they will come to identify with you.

Champions are creative. Academic knowledge is not a criteria for you
to become a champion in life,
many people have it but they are still very far from being celebrated.
Creativity does not require academic knowledge to make you a champion,
creativity can change your level of success overnight, from no body to
somebody, tolerated to celebrated, local champion to national champion,
then to international figure.

PROBLEM
People find it difficult to sit down and think. The truth is that you cannot
be creative if you cannot sit down quietly and think, the ability to be
creative comes from thinking deep. try it today you will see how positive
the outcome will be. A little idea that drops in your mind in you thinking
time can change your life for best, change your income status and pull you
out of dependency.

You can improve you current job, work and business, my dear think, add a new
thing, i mean something different from what everybody in your line does, you
will attract more attention to your business and before you know it "BOOM" your
product will be on high demand. I don't want to tell you stories of champions
who made it by creativity. But i challenge you, there is just a little thing
you can do to become a champion if you can sit down and think.

NOT AFRAID OF FAILIURE

Champions are not afraid of failiure rather,
they see failiure as a teacher.
were ever they fail they analyse the steps
to their fall, learn from it and will never fail
in that area again.
If you are afraid of failiure you will not start
anything at all, note this: Anything you fear has
already defeated you.

Most people are poor today because they are afraid to
fail, devil tells them in their mind that they cannot
make it in life, thereby making them parasites. that
is why you can see someone who is 30years old and above
still dependent on even someone who is younger.

Do not be afraid to start something. let remind you, everything
you see exist today started one day by someone who has
one head, two eyes, nose, nouth, hands and legs like you.
So you will not be the first to start something. Academic knowladge
is not the determinant of your success, your gender doese
not matter naither doese you background do, what matters is
your passion to become a champion. Do not let anything limit
you, short or tall, black or white it makes no sense.

Just start let it be that you sterted and failed, and do not
accept that you have totally failed, you accept failiure when
you refuse to rise up again. You can always rise up again,
dont give up. For me, i believe that the only time i will
totally fail is when i die, as long as am alive anything
is possible.

If you want to be a champion, Do not fear to fail, face
fear and overcome failiure.

FOCUS

A Chmpion maintain focus. Focus has much power that if you have it,
sometimes you will not know when you hit your target, but if you lose
focus somsetimes it may curse you to start afresh again which is always
painful espacially when you have gone far.

Take note: Focus speeds up your goal achievement,
but lack of focus delays your goal achievement.

THINGS TO AVOID
Frieds of different mindset.
Avoid friends that are not compactible with your goal, for example:
if you want to be a doctor, dont keep friends who are traders.
If you want to be an international business man, dont keep frienda
who are footbollers. Do not keep friend who do not have the same
passion with you.

Books.
Do not read books that has nothing to do with your goal,
if you do, you will lose focus

Places you go.
Mind the kind of places you spend quality time. If you spend quality
time in dico hall, party, etc, you are inviting failure.

Keep and stay close to all availabe things that can help you achieve your
goal.

HOW TO LAY YOUR GOAL DOWN

Before i talk about laying your goals down, i must tell you how to discover you goal.
In the mind of every normal human there is a burning desire about something,
it can be; becoming the best singer, doctor, teacher, politician, pilot, footballer
manager of a company, accountant, buying a car, building a house, getting married,
it can be anything, small or big,
it can be short or long time goal, which ever one it is, as long as
it burns in your mind like fire,
that is your goal. Whenever you see someone in that position or doing that thing you feel
like you are the one doing it, you have so much passion for it, thought of it consumes you,
you feel like you are there already. You just dicovered your goal i can see.

Now that you have discoverd your goal(s) target in life, lets talk about how to lay them down.
1. Write them down in a sheet of paper clearly.
2. Attatch time frame to each of them, like days, weeks, months, years depending on the type of goal.
3. Arange them in their order of importance. (first thing first.)
4. Pest it on your wall, door, office, anywhere at all you can see it often.
Now its time to run with. See you on the track.

GOAL GETTING.
Champions are goal getters. what is a goal? a goal is that thing you are tageting to achieve within a perticuler time frame. so when you see a man with a goal taget, you have seen a champion in making.
Most people are living their lives without even one goal, they are just living this life anyhow and that is
why they dont achieve any tangable thing before they die.

Look at this: A man without a goal in this life is like a footballer playing in the field without a goal post. That thing you want to get is you goal post and if you do not have one, even if you drible all the players including the keeper your dribling is meaningless because there is no goal post to score.
You are only celebrated when you score a goal in life and that is when you can be called a champion.

Do you have a goal? if you do, please run with it do not let anything or any person defocus, dicaourage or run you down because you are on your way to becoming a champion. If you fall, dont stay down stand up
and keep striving. One day you will achieve your goal and become a champion.

But if you do not have a goal, please i beg of you to lock yourself up in your room, get angry and think of something tangible you need to achieve. let me tell you, life is too short to gaze about, you better start something on time before it becomes late to do anything, it does not matter how small, champions doese not always start big. It is said that "little dropes of water make a mighty occeaon" it may take a long or short time but how long doese not matter but what matters is that you achieve your goal at last.
