Home Sweet Home

So it's been a while since I last updated this blog as i was holidaying in Toronto, Canada. I did take a lot of pictures and now that I am back to 'Home Sweet Home', I will gradually update them

So the pictures below are taken right outside Casa Loma. The medieval homes in the neighborhood reminds one of a beautiful enchanting forest from a storybook overlooking the Toronto skyline. I personally can't make up my mind as to which one I like, but my wife prefers the colored to the black and white. Although this blog is about 'My Point of View', this post gives you a opportunity to express 'Your Point of View'. Please feel free to share with me which one of the photos do your prefer and why.

A couple weekends ago we went to Shenandoah National Park and as we were driving away .. i just could not pass up the opportunity to capture the setting sun. There is something about changing time that captivates us... either its the end of a long day behind us.. or the hope of a new dawn .. a new day.. a new life... tomorrow ..

By the way, I have added a new feature on the right sidebar of my blog 'Subscribe to' where you can now subscribe to my posts and comments on gmail or yahoo. Alternately you can also subscribe to the chain of comments in the commentbox, just before you leave a comment.

Twilight on the Harbor

Last month we visited the National Harbor in DC. The place offers a very different feel to the city away from the power center of the Capitol. I had just purchased my dSLR and the evening gave me the perfect chance of shooting the vibrant colors in the sky at twilight. Lucky for me, that while I forgot to carry my tripod i could place the camera on a rock and take multiple pictures to create this HDR.

By the way, I have added a new feature to my post wherein you can now rate my photos. I have also noticed that I do have a lot of you checking my post but not leaving any comments. Your comments will only help me improve over time. So feel free to post in your comments and hey.. don't be shy.
