I'm late in discovering these guys. They won the 2012 Mercury Prize Award (A big deal across the pond) You may recognize this from a commercial

Vampire Weekend - Step and Diane Young

2013-05-31T23:23:00.001-07:00

If you get one album this year, make sure it is the new release from Vampire Weekend "Vampires of the City" Two of my favroite tracks from the album

Macklemore x Ryan Lewis Feat. Mary Lambert - Same Love

2012-08-29T22:11:00.001-07:00

Amazing lyrics. Time to allow equality for all and let gay marriage be allowed in all states.

Radiohead "Street Spirit" (accoustic)

2012-06-08T14:04:00.003-07:00

Possibly the greatest Radiohead song, off their greatest album. Most will disagree but before they got all weird with OK Computer and subsequent releases, "The Bends" was pure genius.

Electric Guest - "This Head I Hold"

2012-06-08T11:49:00.001-07:00

New band out of L.A. Produced by Danger Mouse. Very funny and weird video.

Glen Hansard - "Philander" & "Love Don't Leave Me Waiting"

2012-06-08T11:38:00.001-07:00

In the rabnks with Muse as underrated comes the first solo album by Glen Hansard, the lead singer for The Frames and part of the duo that made Once and The Swell Season. Enjoy!

Coldplay feat. Rhiana "Princess of China"

2012-06-07T09:40:00.001-07:00

Silversun Pickups - Nerve Endings (Letterman)

Muse - 2nd Law Album Trailer

2012-06-07T09:32:00.000-07:00

The most underrated band in the world is back in September with their new album The 2nd Law.

Alanis Morissette - "Guardian"

2012-05-11T09:18:00.001-07:00

I wish she could recapture her Jagged Little Pill edge she had but people change over time. We shall;l see if this album is better than her last which frankly was crap.

Carrie Underwood - 'Blown Away'

2012-05-11T08:48:00.001-07:00

Never been a big country music fan but this song rocks...helps that it really isn't very country in terms of its music.

Metric - Youth Without Youth

2012-05-11T08:45:00.000-07:00

New album out in June. Digging this tune. Acoustic version

So as the few readers of this blog may have noticed I am posting with less and less regularity. A lot of reasons for this but suffice to say don't expect it to change much. I discovered twitter last year and have started embracing that as medium to pass things on. Follow me on twitter with the handle @therealstewman Thanks to those who do read this blog. I will continue to post on here, just not that often. Stewman
