A local church was hosting a festival for the community and one of the band's that was there was Kutless! Great music! The kid's had a blast! Ashton was amazed with the army tanks and even got to climb to the top of them!  Later we went to a magic show and then got to listen to Brian Kinder sing "Those blinking lights"! Him and his wife sing children

Being zoo members has its advantages!  The kid's and I went to an event that they were having and got to see the opening of the Cheetah post! It was a neat experience even though we had to stand in line for an 1hr, it was defintely worth it! Afterwards, they were even giving away hotdogs and chips! Like I said, definitely worth it! ;)

For Abby's B-Day we took her out to eat at La Hacienda! She was having a good time until the waiters came out and sung to her. We thought they would just sing but, she got a sombero and her pic taken as well!

Today has finally came and Austin is heading to Daytona Beach with the youth ministries at our church! He has been waiting and waiting for this trip and its finally here.  They are going to be listening to some great speakers as well as spending time in God's word!  They will get to enjoy some fellowship time together and I'm praying for this time to stir their hearts and refresh

Tonight we took Abby to pick out her birthday gift from all of us.  She has been giving us some hints, for the past several months, of what she wants so Scott decides to play a little trick on her when we got to the store! As we were walking back to the electronics, she has a HUGE smile on her face that says I know exactly what I'm getting! We walked

We had Abby's party a few weeks early this year. Her actual birthday is June 27th, but usually around that time people are on vacations.  The weather was beautiful and we had it later in the day, so it wasn't too hot!!! She invited some girls from school and church and afterwards had a sleepover!  Thank GOODNESS its only once a year! This year, one of Abigale's

This past week was Camp Jam! Every summer, our church spends a week full of fun activities for the kid's at a christian day camp. The kid's had so much fun!  It was Abby's last year, so next time she goes, she will be helping out.  Its all work and no play then! ;) Scott was able to come and hangout Friday with us! The lesson this year was called "Dead last".&

A certain someone, Austin, has been waiting to see The Avengers! So opening day we were there!!! Before it started, we were taking pic's and probably being a little annoying!! Can you tell we don't go to the movies much?  Oh well, It was fun!

Today as I was listening to k-love, they mentioned it was National Donut Day! I know that sounds crazy but its true! So the kid's and I headed up to Krispy Kreme and got our free donuts. When dad got home, we made another trip up there to get more donuts! What an AWESOME day! I hope they have a National Corndog Day! Mmmmmmm

This is my favorite time of year!  This past weekend Scott and I had some friends over for a cookout! The burgers was AMAZING! We had hot links, italian sauages, potato salad, bbq beans, chips, and tons of dessert!  Looking forward to more relaxing weekends! :)

This weekend we took the kid's to the Mephis zoo! Whenever we got there, we grabbed some lunch at The Cat Cafe. It was a neat restuarant and we were able to sit by the window and watch the monkeys. This one, in the window, kept giving Ashton thumbs up.  They had a sea lion show, a new tetron trek, and of course the cute and cuddly Panda bears! Well, their probably not

Today I spent some time laughing, playing, and crying. I got to spend the day at Ashton's school hanging out with him and going through all of his stuff that he has made. I can't believe my baby is going to the 3rd grade!!!

This is Ashton's last year to be in the Awana Sparky program. Next year, he will move up to T and T! It feels like yesterday I was signing him up for his first year in preschool Cubbies  program!  I'm so proud of him! He was awarded a ribbon and he also recieved a plaque!  Afterwards, we went and had treats at the fellowship hall!

Last weekend was Ashton's last soccer game!  The kid's  played their hardest and they did a great job! After the game, the coaches had a little challenge to do!  The first table they had to empty a tissue box one by one, then they ran to the next table and had to fish for lemonheads in a pie, and then all the kid's got to roll them up with toilet paper!  What a
