What's in my going out (night) bag?

Hey guys,

Sorry it's been a long time. I haven't mentioned this on my blog before but I am currently doing an International baccalaureate Diploma. If you want to know more information here's the link if it doesn't give much information I can do a post on it. Okay.

So that's why I've been slacking, I've had 6 predicted grade uni exams to do soo Yeh. (Excuses, excuses)

I though I'd get the ball rolling and start again.

I haven't been clubbing recently but when do I like to try and carry light. So I just add in vital essentials for a night out!

So this is my bag, it's a 3 compartment bag that have 3 colors (tan, white and black) I bought it from Zara a while back, it's super spacious and I can even carry a big ol' purse job there.

So firstly my purse from Monki which contains everything I need cash, cards and the ID!

2. I carry my benefit brow zings because it's got a good mirror, it's small and just in case I need to fix the brows.

3. My little sprits perfume, I like a fresh smell nothing worse than not smelling great on a night out (not my thing) so I carry my travel size armani.

4. Depending on the occasion I take a nude or a bold lipstick and a versatile brown lip liner, you never know sometimes.

5. Lastly my oyster card, can not go nowhere without that little thing, so many occasions where I've stepped out left my oyster at home and have had to run back for it, silly me!

Top 5 summer essentials

Hey guys, Hope your are all doing well.
As it says in the title I've got my 5 top summer essentials. Just things I need or i think is a necessity during the spring and summer months.

1. A pair of sandals

I'm enjoying wearing my Birkenstock at the moment.

2. A nude nail polish or lipstick
I decided to show you both, my everyday lipstick "fresh brew" By MAC and Topshops "nice and neutral"
3. A fresh fragrance (body mist or perfume)
I'm enjoying my Calvin Klein "Downtown really fresh and clean, PERFECT!

4. A pair of jeans (or shorts) what ever you prefer.

Discovered the most amazing high waisted jeans from Forever 21, they fit like a glove on a hand!

5. A shirt, this can be shirt of any colour

A YouTuber and bloggers favorite, this pale blue shirt from Topshop, lovely fit.

Bonus:Somethings I couldn't miss accessories which can be a flower crown, necklaces or dainty pendants, sunglasses (totally essential). A funky pair of out of the ordinary sun shades are the best.

Hey guys, sorry it's been an awfully long time, I hope

you are doing all well.

So a little introduction back into posting, I thought to post about my favourite tools I use on an everyday basis.
Few weeks ago when Boots were doing a 3 for 2 I thought should take maximum advantage so, I bought some new babies! If you don't already know Real Techniques brushes be found in UK drugstores Boots and Superdrug . There's currently a deal in Superdrug!!!

Make-up carte

Hey guys this is the second post part of the makeup carte title.
So today, was quite simple. But as it's spring I decided to incorporate a little something different.

Revlon 3D effect mascara
Love this mascara, luckily I bought two ;) it makes my eyelashes so thick and dramatic. This mascara is totally underrated.

Revlon eyeshadow Quad
This quad contains the most awesome colors, a shimmery smokey green, a beautiful champagne color, a brassy brown shimmery color and the deepest matte brown awesome when it's pushed into the crease. The quad is called adventurous.

Rimmel 1000 kisses lipliner
Beautiful pop of pink, suits every skin tone and looks very chic. The color is Indian Pink.

Rimmel Kate lipstick 107
Works brilliant with the Rimmel lip liner. It has a creamy formulation yet it is very matte! GORGEOUS

Sleek Blush
Adds a flush of color to every skin tone. Not to shimmery and it applies very well. All in all this blush is amazing all year round.

Make-up Carte #1

Hey guys, sorry it's been a long time.

I decided to get things running again with a Make-up Menu.

The first time I've done one of these (I think) I felt totally inspired by the other bloggers and I just

thought it would be something good and new to try. "Let's get on with it"

So, today I went for my usual everyday simple makeup with a twist.

Firstly my base, I chose to use my Mac Studio Fix foundation (NW50)

I used my Real Techniques buffing brush to buff the foundation into my skin.

Secondly applying a light contour with my Sleek contour kit (Medium) and used my real techniques

contour brush.

Then to do my eyebrows I used my Benefit Brow Zings (Dark)

Then I apply my Revlon mascara, Maybelline gel liner to create a wing liner.

I then went in applying Mac's extra dimension blush (pleasure model) I still use my real techniques buffing brush for this step.

And lastly the climax of my look a black lipstick from KIKO.

Essence of beauty eye blending brush, ELF Crease Brush & Sleek eau lala liner

The real techniques contour brush is amazing for contouring in the right places and really chizzles the cheek bones! I also tend to use the Mua mascara to add colour and thickness to my eyebrows... Works Wonders!

Sample of Body Shop "Seaweed Pore Perfector"

I decided to try out a product from the body shop, so I asked if i could try out a sample and it is amazing for shrinking those big pores, I tend to have larger pores on my cheeks. I tend to use a small amount of this product before applying my foundations so that my foundation doesn't lay strange on my skin gross! I am definitely thinking of investing in the full size.

I am a bit sceptical about some cosmetics

Hey lovelies how are you all doing, I hope you are all well?
This can be a bit of a taboo subject but I am a bit sceptical about make up brands that test on animals.
I know that there's a few brands our there that test their products on animals.
I am not really going to get that deep into this subject or mention any brands but I am a bit reluctant to try or buy the high end brands that test cosmetics on animals.
We all know that animals are innocent and this method of testing is cruel and totally unethical.

(Sorry if these images are sensitive) but I thought as I feel strongly about this subject and I thought as I'm dealing with beauty and cosmetics, I thought I should at least mention that I'm aware.

Downtown Girl CK

Calvin Klein Down Town. I received this gift on valentines day (whoop whoop).

I've been umming and arring for ages for this perfume but for a 50ml perfume is around the £35-£40 mark which for I cannot justify spending that amount on perfume.

This perfume smells so fresh like the other typical Calvin Klein perfumes however it very mature and has a quote a strong scent when you first smell it. On the other hand it gets better and sweeter during the day.

Heart Notes: Pink Peppercorn, Violet Leaf, Gardenia Petals

Top Notes: Italian Cedrat, Bergamot, Tunisian Neroli, Green Pear, Watery Plum

Hey Guys, How are you?
I hope you had a brilliant New Year and a brilliant start to the New Year 2014.
I got a few things for Christmas and I just thought I should share them with you.

So I got from my sister The Core Collection Real Technique Brushes.
She also gave me a M.A.C Pro Longwear Concealer.
I Picked up from M.A.C from their new collection ''Magnetic Nude'' an extra dimension blush in ''Pleasure Model''. This blush is absolutely gorgeous, 'I've never invested in a MAC blush until now.

Lastly I purchased ''Touch'' Lipstick, perfect nude/peach color great for all skin tones especially WOC. I love my Lustre & Satin Finishes, they are the best to work with in my opinion.

Well, I hope you did like my post.

You know when I said I was going to do the last post of 2013, I actually decided against it. I have high expectation lol (sometimes) and I wanted to make sure the last post was a good one. However, I couldn't think of any good images I could take.

I thought I should let you know, so I don't leave you all hanging, typical of me ey.?!

I'd never Pink you would...

Hey lovelies,
I hope you are all well.
I've got a few Pink lipsticks, id like to show you, i haven't got any swatches at the moment, but i may put a few up later.
1. Avon lipstick in Never So Nude, it is supposed to be nude but on me it a sheer pink tone, perfect if you like subtle lipstick shades.
2. Barry M lipstick in 150, is again nude however, is quite pink tone for me, but can also when paired with brown lip-liner, does look more nude.
3. Unbranded lipstick, that is a bright lip color, it is good to say its unbranded has good staying power and is perfect if you want that 'Pop' of color.

4. Next is Rimmel's Kate in 104 very lovely autumn color; it is slightly pink toned red so i thought i should add it in. Liked by many bloggers & you-tubers, great for every skin shade.
5. Mauve Over is so similar to Barry M 150 but is more matte.
6. Sexy Mother Pucker, i don't really wear lip glosses much, but i thought i should put it in and show those whom may wear lip glosses. Perfect to put over a pink lipstick or lip-liner.
7. Barry M Lip gloss in Coral, smells really nice and sweet, not sticky and is again perfect to top over lipsticks and lip-liners.

8. Sleek Make-up Pout Paint 'Port' perfect lip color, a very little goes a long way and i think its a fabulous pink for this winter, especially if you want to add color to your outfit.
9. And lastly a few lip-liners Natural Collection lip-liner in Pink
MUA lip-liner in Brooding Plum
Rimmel London Lasting Finish in Indian Pink
Sleek Eau lala Liner in Lingerie
Sleek Eau lala in Dragon Fruit.
I love to line my lips before using a pink lipstick or on their own; i love a matte lip.
Great for this winter and ill definitely be wearing a few pink colors this winter to add some color when we have a bleek sky!!

What is on my nails?

Am I not spoiling you guys?

Hi guys I hope you're all well.

Just a short post on what I'm wearing on my nails.

I've got on my nails "Countess" by Barry M.

This opaque colour is achieved after 2-3 coats.

Really nice texture and isn't too glittery but it looks so pretty on the nails.

I get so many compliments from this polish.

This nail polish is long lasting; thick formulation which I love.

Try out these polishes, you wont be disappointed. They are the latest permanent collection polishes from Barry M and can be found both in Super-drug or Boots.

Autumn/Winter Nail Polishes

Hey lovelies

Hope you're all well..

I've got a few nail polishes I've been loving and are for me, suitable for this Autumn/Winter.

So from left to right:

1. A soft baby pink, in "Pinky Pure" from No7. I think I've briefly mentioned this color on my blog before, but I'm still loving it, and since this shade is on trend, why not?

2. A caramel brown matte polish in "Mocha" from Barry M. Lovely matte color however it does chip, on the other side it very opaque after 2-3 coats.

3. A dark navy blue color in "Mot comb Street" perfect blue color and it does last long on the nails; very opaque after 2 coats and looks very lovely with black and white clothing.

4. Bright red pop of color in "Blood Orange" from Barry M. Perfect pop of color to your outfits. Gives the look of shiny gel nails.

5. Gorgeous auburn glittery textured nail polish in "Countess". Perfect glittery nail polish; long lasting and looks gorgeous for the Christmas season.

6. Bronze glittery nail polish in "Copper" from Barry M. Lovely color; best nail polish for the autumn season, Gorgeous on every skin tone, stay tuned for this nail polish on a future post.

7. Pale gelly high shine nails in "Lychee". Nude color for all skin shades and opaque after 2 coats. However chips quickly so, a top coat is definitely needed.

8. Purples and blue nail polish in "Violetta". Opaque after 2-3 coats, pop of color to a dark outfit.

9. White glittery nail polish textured in "Lady". Highly pigmented and opaque after 2 coats. I will be wearing this definitely the most all through the winter months.

10. Lastly, gorgeous teal colour in "Totally Teal" from No7. Highly pigments and opaque after about 2 coats. Chips sometimes quite easily.
