Coby's Clocks

This room really shows you what a massive impact great wallpaper can have (not to mention a fabulous pendant light!). I created this room for a super cool well travelled 5 year old boy named Coby. The world clocks wallpaper gave me a great back drop for all the other co-ordinating pieces I found for the rest of the room - although we did incorporate a 1 x 1m lion canvas too because Coby loves The Lion King! All bases covered!

Archie's Bedroom Evolution

Archie has finally moved into a bed and so of course the room had to be completely remodelled! He will be moving into a king single bed soon so we just borrowed this single one for a while - I hate not finishing off a bed with a bed head but I know in my heart that this is only a temporary sleeping arrangement! So I'm making do - my husband is so proud! One of my best friends made this amazing quilt (what a special heirloom!) for Archie when he was born and I just got some co-ordinating pillows made in the same french linen fabric. I'm obsessed with the safari animal heads that I found which are paper mache made out of french newspapers! I also love the black industrial bedside table I found for him which houses all his dummies and Wiggles books.

The Green Room

It's not often that you need to work your baby room ideas around an existing green coloured room - but with Giselle's baby room I needed to do just that! Giselle's Mum didn't want anything super girlie or pretty so I concentrated on the vibrant colours in the freckle rug to complete the room. I love the 3 prints I found for over the feeding chair - all the quotes are so quirky - just like the room!

Princess India

I have to say that India is one lucky bub - her room is like a mini palace! The wallpaper I chose (which I'm completely in love with) gave me so much inspiration for the rest of the room - I love how it all turned out and especially love the vibrant accent color I chose - orange. We had some wallpaper left over from the main wall so I decided to wallpaper the panels in the cupboards which gave such a cohesive feeling in the room. My favourite pieces are the orange cuckoo clock, chevron pillow, mini egg chair and chandelier. Pity this is not my room ... maybe I could sleep on the egg chair and no one would notice?

Zara's Growing Up

I first posted Zara's baby room in early 2010 - now she has moved into a new house so her parents called on my services once more to style her room into something gorgeous just like her! Most of the items in her old room were transferable but I was also thrilled to be able to inject some new accents like the stunning world map wallpaper which really ties in well with all the gorgeous Amy Butler fabrics in the quilt and fabric circles on the wall.

Bathroom Bliss

I had so much fun decking out this kids bathroom! I especially love the personalised hooded towels I had made along with all the other co-ordinated accessories! Bath time has never been so stylish!

Paint in the Playroom

Who wouldn't want to play in this playroom? I love the way it all turned out from the colors in the rug, which I'm proud to say I designed myself, to my metro train wallpaper. I also love the practicality and look of these fabulous paint drop hooks (one per child of course!) I found which really compliment the colors in the wallpaper. Enjoy messing this up kids!

Mellow Yellow

I knew I was going to be asked in one of my rooms to incorporate The Bieb's - and so it was that Lily's request was granted! Can you spot him?! In the photo above the black frame is actually a mirror - the wallpaper on the opposite wall is reflecting in it! I love the color scheme I chose for this room - so hot right now!

J is for Jack

This room was created for a soccer loving boy named Jack (5 years old) - the bold combination of red and strong blues really reflects his personality - someone who knows what they want! The blue and white striped wallpaper on the opposite wall gives the room real personality - it's amazing what one wall of wallpaper can do to a room! I especially love the decal clock I found with real working clock arms!

I love the way Xavier's nursery turned out - it's my new favourite babys room! The client really let me go with my theme and was happy with everything I suggested. Black and white is such a great color combo and will always stay in vogue! My favourite pieces are the black sheep mobile, smile art print, black dot wall hooks and of course the Piece De Resistance - the wallpaper!

Good Morning Good Night

My favourite item in this 'modern with a splash of industrial' room is the super cool reversible good morning good night pillow I found - depending on your mood you can switch it! I also love the horse ottoman which sits proudly next to Clinton's bed - great for resting those weary legs whilst putting on socks and school shoes!!!!

Pink Lemonade

Sometimes you need to work with pieces of furniture that are existing in a room or that clients pre-purchase - in this case my client had pre-purchased the armoire, bedside table and lamp. Although the furniture was quite traditional the house is modern so I wanted to freshen up the pieces as much as I could with a modern feel. The pinks and different shades of lemon really work well together - it's such a great combo! I also love this inspirational wall decal I used which 'K' can look at in bed every night!

I love the pinky sweetness of this room I just completed for an equally sweet 3 year old girl! So fresh and innocent. My favourite piece is this french inspired vintage frame decal which really brings life to a plain large white wall.

I'm so happy how this room turned out - the train system wall paper I chose is so amazing (if I do say so myself!) and the mix of colors in it inspired the rest of the accent colors in the room. I also LOVE the reversible text pillows that I found for the bed - uber trendy abbreviations are all the rage with young kids these days - LOL! I can't sign off without mentioning the fab leggo storage boxes and leggo man head which I found - so cool and so practical! This 7 year old boy is one lucky kid!

Gorgeous Glam

I created this french inspired glamourous boudoir for a little 9 year old girl - who wanted glam, bling and glitz! The accent color I chose was a bold magenta which really gives the room a rich classy feel against all the black velvet and sparkle. The wallpaper I chose against the black dramatic bed is like a silvery textured linen which gives that whole wall an understated lift - you can see the wallpaper best in this close up shot above.

Super Cool Playroom

I've just completed this uber cool playroom for a 6 year old boy and a 9 year old girl. They wanted somewhere fun that they could hang out with friends and play board games. The star of the show in this room is clearly the amazing wallpaper that I chose -if you look closely you will find major cities in it like Singapore, Moscow, Stockholm, Barcelona, Hong Kong and New York. The egg chair gives the room a splash of color and also doubles up as a super cool dizzy machine! My favourite room accessory is the faux deer head - this one sits in the middle of one of the stark white walls. My NO PARKING pillow contributes to the fun and edgy vibe that I wanted to focus on.

Jamie the little monkey!

Jamie's room has really come a long way since it's white boring walls and mountains of soft teddies (they went straight in the cupboard!). I absolutely love the blue paint color I chose - it really gives the room a warmth without making the room look smaller but rather bigger (this was my clients concern but now she is a 100% convert!). Jamie's Mum calls him 'monkey' so it was very befitting that I incorporated a super trendy one into the room!

I've just completed this room for a gorgeous little 5 year old girl. I love the color combination of pink, orange and light blues - such a refreshing look. My favourite part of the room is the vintage frame art wall I created - the fabric wreath was actually made by the Mother of my client and since it was so special I wanted to incorporate it into the room.

Too cool for school

This modern quirky boys room was created for a very trendy 10 year old who has a passion for all things boys - including drums, soccer, football, cricket and inspirational quotes! The color scheme of denim and black with splashes of red was a great color palette to work with and really gave the room cohesion with a modern feel. I re-covered the bed head which matched in well with the existing curtains. The lolly tins with chalk board tags were created for the shelving unit above his desk as decoration - strict instructions in regards to opening these have been emphasised!

Soccer Time

My 8 year old client Toby is obsessed with soccer - and although I tried to incorporate as many soccer balls as possible I wanted to give the room a cool teenage vibe as well so that he wouldn't out grow the room.

Miffy's Pad

My new favourite color scheme is this one! Light pinks, blues and greens - soothing, sweet and soft - a bit like Miffy! This room was created for a special little 2 year old. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this gorgeous quilt set and the room inspiration evolved around this.

Maps and Monkeys (and Babar too!)

I absolutely love maps and globes in boys rooms at the moment and so I decided to fill this room with both of them (even on the quilt!). The bold colors of blues and green really compliment this theme - I particularly love this framed New York Subway map. I'm also in love with the balloon world globes which made a great centre piece for the room.

Pink and Purple Perfection

My 6 year old client wished for a very girly pink and purple room and so I granted her wish with one wave of the Little Liberty wand! Ellie was very happy with the result and in her words it was 'Awesome, Awesome, Awesome'. I also managed to put together this room on a budget - which I'm very proud to say that I stuck to!
