You basically get what you pay for which is a range of tools designed to speed up your marketing, and it certainly is no get quick rich scheme as claimed on the website. Whilst it is true you can get these tools elsewhere, they fall into two categories.

Google Assassin is the latest product from Chris McNeeney. The Google Assassin Website makes some hefty claims about the potential earnings, but are they true?

The Google Assassin Website is a nicely laid out site which is easy on the eye. The font and background colors compliment each other so that the whole thing fits together well. There are plenty of claims about the potential earnings from Google Assassin, but only a couple of testimonials. The web is inundated with Google Assassin Reviews as everyone inevitably jumps on the bandwagon to promote this product. And as usual with most things, Google Assassin Reviews fall into the same camps that most discussions end up in. Those that love it, those that hate it and those that will sit on the fence. That is not to say you couldn't earn this type of income from day one, but I guess for most of us this just doesn't seem to happen. This makes us sceptical and bitter people and the easiest way to vent that built up pressure is to slate the product.

These people look to have started using the tools available within Google Assassin, but have yet to use them to their full potential. Although they have downloaded and explored the interfaces I suspect they have come to a sort of "writers block" as to what they should do next, whilst still recognising that they may have the potential to push them to a new level with their internet marketing.

Can You Make Money From the Internet?

Can you make money on the internet? Well the simple answer to that is yes you can, easily in fact. The problem is that the difference between making money and making enough money to make it worthwhile is huge. I recently put up an Autoblog website about films. I put on Adsense and some links to Ebay and Amazon. Now I do nothing with the site and it earns me a small amount of money for every person that clicks on an advert. How much? Well it has currently paid me around $1 since I set it up around 3 months ago. So that’s not exactly going to set the world on fire is it? I guess I could go mad and create another 1000 websites, but with the cost of domains and hosting even at that rate I would be losing money by the end of the year. I have to admit I am only letting the website run on autopilot for the moment until it has some decent rankings in the search engines, once it has that I can think about trying to monetize it more.

So how can you make effective money from the internet? Well you have to employ a series of strategies to spread your risk. For example I have a poker blog which earns a nice income from adverts from two advert suppliers. One of them recently changed its terms and conditions to no longer accept gambling related adverts. If the only thing I concentrated on was poker or gambling related sites, I could well have been looking at a substantial cut in income.

So here are a few of the things I do to earn money on the internet.

• Adverts from websites.
• Posts from websites.
• Adsense.
• Ebay and Amazon links.
• Affiliate marketing.
• Article marketing.

Here are a few other ideas.

Multi Bird Roast - Not just a Chicken Roast!

Here is my recipe for what I consider one of the best Christmas dinners we have ever had. Of course you don't have to do this just at Christmas, it tastes just as good any time of the year.

I thought this Christmas I would attempt one of the multi bird roasts that were apparently popular in medieval times. Now in the old days they would have used anything up to ten birds.

It would start with a turkey or a goose, which would be deboned and opened out. A layer of force meat stuffing would be smeared liberally around the inside. Another smaller bird deboned and opened out would be put inside this. This process would be continued with up to ten birds all decreasing slightly in size.

When as many birds as possible have been fitted into the original bird, it would be pulled back into shape and sewn together. The delight at slicing one of these apart and seeing the many different meats must have been amazing.

Not having ten birds to hand I decided to do my own theme with a turkey, goose and duck. I don`t really have the skills to debone birds, so I cheated a little by buying a large turkey crown, some duck and goose breasts.

You must have good stuffing, and plenty of it. If you make to much you can always freeze it for another day. In fact I made mine about two weeks before and froze it to save time on Christmas day.

To make the stuffing I used
half a kilo of pork shoulder, well chopped
half a kilo of pork belly, well chopped
250g of streaky bacon, well chopped
100g breadcrumbs (Good quality bread)
200g cooked chestnuts, chopped
200g grated apples
Brandy to taste
Port to taste
100ml red wine
Salt
Pepper
Mace

Mix all the stuffing ingredients together and you are ready to start assembly.

I took the turkey crown and using a sharp knife made a slit down the side to open it up like a pitta bread. I then took about half the stuffing mix and forced it into the slot.

Take the duck and goose breasts and push them into the slit ensuring they are surrounded by the stuffing. Use more stuffing as required to fill out the inside.

Cover the turkey with lots of streaky bacon to prevent it drying out.

I didn't sew the turkey up I just placed it on a large sheet of tin foil and folded the foil tight around it to create a reasonable shape. To be honest with all the stuffing it takes on much more of a turkey shape than the crown does on its own.

I then cooked very slowly in the oven until well cooked, checking with a thermometer. I uncovered the turkey for the last hour to crisp off the skin and the bacon.

The juices I drained made fantastic gravy.

They offer opportunity to let escape those secret thoughts without inhibition and either glory in them or store them for another day. The children of the 21st century need this exposure to the world of computing and if they are to compete with their rivals and come out victors they need to be able to combine the technical with the creative; these worlds need to merge.

Have you ever thought of writing from personal experience; anything can be a stimulus.
• A walk at dusk – experience it, then write it.
• A response to a piece of music.
• An argument between siblings.
• After watching your favourite film, use extracts and re-write them. Yet another way to benefit from the educational software that is out there.

Try to write alongside your children, give yourself a short time frame so that ideas erupt and then read them to each other. Crafting can come later. Sharing the experience, identifying your unique writing voice and discussing how to improve is the learning curve neither adult nor child can afford to avoid. It is an opportunity for you to grow too, so that you keep in touch with the world in which your child will have to be a part of, will want to be a part of, but this can come after your child has explored the software in question. They can become your teacher, at least giving you insight into the merit of the school educational software they are using. Let them be judge and jury. It has to be worth the risk?

Will Steven Gerrard Disappear into Obscurity?

I’m sure the whole world heard the news about Liverpool captain and England player, Steven Gerrard, getting him self into the press thanks to charges pressed against him regarding assault.

The Liverpool playing ‘thug’ was due to face court just a few days ago, where the Southport court magistrates' heard him plead guilty to several charges of assault and affray. Steven Gerrard was not alone though, he was accompanied by his two associates, Ian Smith and John Doran, who both participated in the so called ‘assault’.

The three were allegedly involved in a major night club brawl near to the end of December, in Steven Gerrard’s local area, Huyton, Southampton. The event that took place involved six men including the Liverpool player, and the consequence was one man needing hospital care to recover from his injuries.

It is definitely not over for the Liverpool star yet though, as Steven Gerrard and his two companions will be facing trial again on March 20, for their final hearing.

At 28, Steven Gerrard is currently at his prime, playing better than ever before, but the exposure throughout the nationwide press is only like to demolish his public perception. Up until recent events Steven Gerrard has been labeled a rock within a team and an asset to any football club, and now he is labeled as irresponsible and a common thug.

It definitely put a downer on Steven Gerrard’s awesome week, which saw him score two out of five goals in the Newcastle battle, which saw Liverpool beat the team 5-1.

It will be interesting to see how the perception of him as a player and star will pan out depending on the verdict at his trial. A guilty verdict could see him disappearing into obscurity. Or will his reputation see him hanging on until the public’s view of the current events disappear into history, as has happened to so many other celebrities that have fallen foul of the law?
