Beware you need a dictionary but over all it was really well done and can really be educational when you want to learn about how maritime archaeology is done. The pictures and illustration in this book really helped you to understand what they are talking about. The back of the book contains a great list to help you find more sources for the things that interested you and it used references to different societies to help you gain information on recent and upcoming projects.

A bulk of what makes RPG Metanoia so charming is how it translates these relatable elements of living into gorgeous animation.

Visual Basic (VB) is the third-generation event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft for its COM programming model. VB is also considered a relatively easy to learn and use programming language, because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage.

Visual Basic was derived from BASIC and enables the rapid application development (RAD) of graphical user interface (GUI) applications, access to databases using Data Access Objects, Remote Data Objects, or ActiveX Data Objects, and creation of ActiveX controls and objects. Scripting languages such as VBA and VBScript are syntactically similar to Visual Basic, but perform differently.

A programmer can put together an application using the components provided with Visual Basic itself. Programs written in Visual Basic can also use the Windows API, but doing so requires external function declarations.

The theory of relativity, or simply relativity, generally refers specifically to two theories of Albert Einstein: special relativity and general relativity. However, the word “relativity” is sometimes used in reference to Galilean invariance.

The term “theory of relativity” was coined by Max Planck in 1908 to emphasize how special relativity (and later, general relativity) uses the principle of relativity.

Special relativity is a theory of the structure of spacetime. It was introduced in Albert Einstein’s 1905 paper “On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies”, however the term was first used by Galileo Galilei in 1632 in his Dialogue concerning the World’s Two Chief Systems. But Galileo’s version was flawed: for example, he thought the spin of the Earth caused the tides[1]. Special relativity is based on two postulates which are contradictory in classical mechanics:
The laws of physics are the same for all observers in uniform motion relative to one another (Galileo’s principle of relativity),
The speed of light in a vacuum is the same for all observers, regardless of their relative motion or of the motion of the source of the light.

The resultant theory has many surprising consequences. Some of these are:
Relativity of simultaneity: Two events, simultaneous for some observer, may not be simultaneous for another observer if the observers are in relative motion.
Time dilation: Moving clocks are measured to tick more slowly than an observer’s “stationary” clock.
Length contraction: Objects are measured to be shortened in the direction that they are moving with respect to the observer.
Mass-energy equivalence: E = mc2, energy and mass are equivalent and transmutable.

In our culture, where even talking about sex is a no-no, teens often have only two options on how to get information about this topic: the internet and each other.

The latter can be like the blind leading the blind, and the former can lead to porn sites, which sets up unrealistic expectations when it comes to sex. Either way, young people are pretty much left to their own devices when it comes to educating themselves about sex–a practice that can have serious consequences.

A survey that was conducted in 2005 by Remedios AIDS Foundation shows that 3 out of 10 youths think that jumping after sex prevents pregnancy and 2 in 3 youths think that drinking antibiotics before sex is a way to prevent sexually transmitted infections. (It is not, by the way. Antibiotics may treat certain types of STIs, but not prevent them.)

The 2008 National Demographic Health Survey shows that 2 percent of young women had sexual intercourse by age 15, while 17 percent of young women had sexual intercourse by age 18.

The World Bank reported that the Philippines is among the top 10 countries where teen pregnancies are on the rise. Seven out of every 10 pregnant women are teenagers, often younger than 19 years old. Every year, approximately 64,000 teenagers in the Philippines have abortions.

“It’s a normal process for teens [to want to know more about sex],” explains Dr. Dr Wei Siang Yu, a medical doctor from Monash University. “Their hormones are raging and they need to be informed about how to deal with these urges and understand the changes their bodies are going through.”

Dr. Wei, has been a force in pioneering out of the box sex education initiatives and modules for the youth, earning him the title “Dr. Love.” In 2002, along with the Dutch Health Promotion Board, Dr. Wei launched the first wireless sex education initiative in Europe.

In the Philippines, Dr. Wei recently launched Sexxie.tv, or Sex Xpert Interactive Education, an interactive website for teens to get answers to their questions about sex, contraception and sexuality.

“We need to harness the internet,” said Dr. Wei. “It is discreet, it is immediate–the very things that are important to teens when it comes to getting sexual health information.”

Diaspora: Facebook Alternative (Launches September 15)

Diaspora, the much-hyped open source alternative to Facebook, will release its code to the world on September 15, but promises that its creators are just getting started.
Earlier this year, Facebook was embroiled in controversy after it made significant privacy changes. Users didn’t like having more of their information public, so they revolted.
During the height of the crisis, four NYU students decided to create an open source alternative to Facebook. Their goal was to raise $10,000 for their summer project, but dramatic interest helped them raise over $100,000 through donations. Even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg donated to the project.
Since then, the Diaspora team has been mostly silent, coding away on their project. However, in a blog post earlier today, they revealed that the project is on track for release on September 15.

“We have Diaspora working, we like it, and it will be open sourced on September 15th,” the Diaspora team said in its announcement.

Only the Beginning

Diaspora was originally intended to be just a summer project, but the high interest in the project has changed the team’s plans. Diaspora’s development schedule has been extended.
“We aren’t going to stop working after we release,” Diaspora stated in its blog post. “Ilya and Raphael are taking leave from NYU, and we will continue to develop and maintain Diaspora as a long term project.”
What will Diaspora look like? According to the team, it’s focusing on “on building clear, contextual sharing.” One of the open source social network’s features will be making it easy and intuitive for users to decide what content gets added and shared to their social circles.

Why Facebook May Not Be The King Forever

Whether you’re a business with a blog or a blog that’s a business, if you don’t have a Facebook presence, you’re missing out on a major way to connect with readers. Right now, Facebook is king when it comes to social networking sites. Heck, even my mom knows what Facebook is, and she’s not what I’d call web-savvy. And by “not web-savvy,” I mean that she still has dial-up Internet and really only pays for that because she likes to send chain emails to my sister and I and print coupons. I say this in love, because my mom is awesome at just about anything non-tech-related. The point is, even people who don’t use their computers often know what Facebook is.

But don’t buy stock just yet.

I was reading an interesting article on Mashable about a Facebook alternative called Diaspora, which will be officially launching in just a few weeks. My initial thought was to roll my eyes. Yeah right, like people are going to leave Facebook and suddenly swarm behind a new social networking site. If nothing, this will just create more work for me, since I’ll have yet another profile that I’ll have to maintain to ensure I’m reaching potential readers who choose Diaspora over Facebook.

The story simmered in my mind all day, though, and you know what? Facebook is great, but it’s not the nature of the Internet for things to last forever. This is a living, breathing, growing, changing world, and even though I know Facebook has rabid fans and they definitely wear the crown right now, they aren’t indestructible…or at least, they are uncrownable.*
In short, Facebook may not be king forever – and here’s why:

There are problems with Facebook that can’t just be patched. It isn’t like a group of students just decided to start a new site to make money. Those types of social networks are a dime a dozen. This is something that addresses a core Facebook problem – that it isn’t open source, which isn’t going to change.
We’ve seen social networking Titanics sink before. Anyone out there remember MySpace? It’s easy to dismiss that site these days, unless you’re a musicain – most professional bloggers I know don’t even have profiles there – but at one time, it was the place to be, hands down. Today’s MySpace is drastically different and definitely not the leading social networking site, so there’s no reason that can’t happen to Facebook, too.
The face of social networking is changing. Studies show that the average age of Facebook members is increasing every year. Last I saw, it was in the low 30s. As more adults join Facebook, whether it is to promote their businesses and blogs or connect with friends in a more traditional sense, values are changing. The average college student may just want a wall, some game apps, and the ability to poke friends, but more mature users value more function and control. If Facebook can’t deliver, they’ll absolutely shift to a new site.
Facebook has some black marks on their record. When it comes to privacy, this isn’t exactly the most trustworthy company in the world. Even though I think Facebook has done a good job at addressing concerns, their privacy problems and policy criticisms have tarnished their name. New users, especially older users with little social networking experience, may choose a site they perceive to be “safer.”
There’s money in this industry. The Diaspora project alone has proven that social media is an area where investors are hungry to throw around money. They hoped to raise 10,000 to work on the project this summer and they ended up making ten times that amount without really trying. If people are willing to fund good ideas, we’re going to see some interesting Facebook alternatives come to the market over the next few years.
Facebook isn’t exactly intuitive. Sure, anyone can make a basic profile, but if you want to move beyond adding your contact information or favorite bands, you’re going to get frustrated. It can be done, but they don’t make it easy.

I love Facebook. I’m on that site every day, both promoting my blog and connecting with friends. Will the site be around forever? I doubt it, no matter how popular it is right now. Will it be difficult to replace as number one? Absolutely! It will be interesting to see where things stand ten years from now.

Notes : First Thing is first the movie is not in 3D but the title of the movie is called piranha 3D
Now onto what i did below !!!!
First thing i did was run this in megui to deinterlace it then i saved the avs file and then opened it in vdub
cropped it then changed the angle on it so that it was correct and not look like the cammer was jerking off
onto the side after all that i removed some white from it and made it a tiny bit brighter so it stands out more
also your wondering why 700mb ? well some people dont like 1.37GB files as they dont have a good upload speed
plus some people dont buy DVD's that much cos blank CD's cost cheaper now.
