I didn’t expected that the fast food chain that I’m applying for since June 11th texted me last August 28th…

“Good morning! This is to inform you that you have initial interview this afternoon, August 28 at 2 pm here in ~~name of the fast food chain~~ near post office. Thank you!”
-were 7 applicants during that time.

2 days after, August 30th 5 out of 7 texted us again…

“Good morning! This is to inform you that you have final interview this afternoon at 2 PM here in ~~name of the fast food chain.~~ Thank you.”

Today, August 31st IDK who still remains aside from me…

“Good morning! This is to inform you that you passed the final interview, please call ~~name of the fast food chain~~ for details of your training. Thank you.”

Yay I really wish I could pass the 3 day training! Wish me luck guys!

Facebook Dislike Button Is Fake [WARNING]

A new Facebook scam is making the rounds, and it’s taking advantage of a non-existent Facebook feature many users crave: the dislike button.

First, let’s clear things up: There is no such thing as an official Facebook dislike button. It’s possible that Facebook will implement a similar feature in the future, but right now it simply doesn’t exist.

So, if you see a status update containing the message “I just got the Dislike button, so now I can dislike all of your dumb posts lol!!” or “Get the official DISLIKE button now” followed by a link, you should know that it’s another one of many scams that aim to extract your personal data.

If you click on the link, you’ll land on an elaborate Facebook dislike button “install” page (note that if the dislike button were real, you wouldn’t need to install it; Facebook would automatically add it to user profiles). If you follow the instructions, you’ll be asked to give the app permission to run, after which you’ll be asked to complete a survey, similar to the surveys found in many other scams we’ve seen recently.

Interestingly enough, the app ultimately points you to an existing Firefox add-on called FaceMod, which dubs itself the “Facebook Dislike Button (the Original),” but the add-on doesn’t seem to be connected to the scam. We haven’t verified whether the add-on works as advertised or if it’s dangerous, but one thing is certain: It is not coming from Facebook and it is not an official Facebook dislike button.

As usual, we advise you not to click on suspicious links on Facebook, especially if they promise something that sounds impossible or unlikely. Do not give away your personal information, unless you’re absolutely sure why and who you’re giving it to. If you’ve fallen for the scam, remove the offending app(s) from your Facebook profile; furthermore, remove the related message from your status, News Feed, and your Likes and Interests in the “Edit my Profile” menu.

Yes! Its possible now to access in the internet while you’re in board! @VirginAtlantic Airlines allow its passenger to tweet and do everything on the web during their flight.

Its common for us to turn off our mobile web enable/smart phones and laptops while we’re taking a plane flight, right? With this new service, you can fly higher than the airplane do. :)

That song reminding me that our life; what we have now are all temporary. Like what I’ve said – “Life only travelled once.”. We don’t know what God plan to us, just cherrish every moment with your family, friends and if you’ll do something always think its your last chance to make/show it.

Anyway condolence to @haomic relatives, their beloved one passed away yesterday.

After 9 months.

What happened to me after 9 months? ~~After I stopped blogging last Dec. ’09~~, my world becomes more ~~horrendous~~.

December 25th, 2009: Barkada bonding, met new faces and that day was the start for my new love life. Yay!

Became more matured the way I think.

Took life more seriously.

Attached to my loved one all the time.

Experienced El Niño for the first time. :D

Do Job Hunting after 2 years. (I’m only 17 when my first time to apply for a job.)

Having the longest relationship to someone so far. (cheesy)

Became more addicted to Twitter LOL!

First time to get updated all about Philippine Presidential Election and its Inaugural. (PNoy FTW!)

It’s been a crazy world for me but I’m happy to experienced that kind of matters. Life only travelled once so get the most out of it before its too late.

Bekimon is a person who speak “gay lingo”.

“Beki” refers to _"gay_" and “gay lingo” refers to “Filipino Gay language” which is very popular today in the Philippines.

Bekimon is more way cool than ~~Jejemon~~ for my side. I’m a JejeBuster on the other part though. :)

I’m very proud for being a Pinoy LGTB, a very proud bisexual here.

Jejemon and Bekimon shows how Pinoys are very creative not only in many aspect but specially the way we communicate. Maybe other countries will say its weird but for us, being Filipino its okey and fun at all.

The creator of the word “Bekimon” was featured in 24 Oras a while ago. You can visit his blog site and YouTube page that’s all about Bekimon stuff.

During the 2009 Leonid meteor shower, you may see anywhere from 30 to 300 shooting stars an hour, depending on whether you're in the right place to see Tuesday's showy peak before dawn, experts predict.

Its Leonid Meteor Shower over the sky on many Asian countries now but sadly, until now I can't see at least one. :( I have one wish pa naman, sayang.

Someone forgive me already about what I've done to and having a new friend at the same time. I'm starting again to zero and trying to accomplished everything that I left behind. Anyway last celebration of Flor's birthday was FUN! FUN! FUN! I enjoyed that night swimming although my colds keep getting me harder to breath lol.

I accidentally visited the news site looking for Pacquiao - Cotto update lol. Since COMELEC rejected Ang Ladlad petition for running as a Party List this coming 2010 National Election for representing Filipino LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual) Community for the second time. In fact COMELEC reason to denied And Ladlad petition because of Immorality.

From The Philippine Star:

MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) yesterday rejected the petition of Ang Ladlad Party, which represents homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender individuals, to be registered as a sectoral party because of “immorality.”

In an eight-page resolution, Comelec Second Division presiding commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer and commissioners Lucenito Tagle and Elias Yusoph said Ang Ladlad’s petition is “dismissible on moral grounds.”

“(The) Petitioner defines Filipino lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community (as) marginalized and under-represented sector that is particularly disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation and gender identity… and proceeded to define sexual orientation as that which refers to a person’s capacity for profound emotional, affectional and sexual attraction to, and intimate and sexual relations with, individuals of a different gender, of the same gender or more than one gender,” the resolution said.

The commission said the definition of the represented sector “makes it crystal clear that (the) petitioner tolerates immorality which offends religious beliefs.”

The commissioners cited passages from the Bible – Romans 1:26-27 – and the Koran to illustrate their point.

Romans 1:26-27 reads: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.”

Comelec said the party’s petition also “collides” with Article 694 of the Civil Code which defines nuisance as “any act… that disregards decency or immorality” and Article 1306 which provides that “contracts whose cause object or purpose is contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order or public policy are inexistent and void from the beginning.”

The commission said the petition for registration does not conform to the Catholic faith.

“Should this Commission grant the petition, we will be exposing our youth to an environment that does not conform to the teachings of our faith. We are not condemning the LGBT but we cannot compromise the well-being of the greater number of our people, especially the youth,” the resolution said.

Ladlad president Danton Remoto condemned the decision “of the very old men” who showed “painfully obsolete ideas about homosexuality.”

On my part I was a little shocked, proud and happy that my little voice will be heard by the whole world with the help of two sites that I've mentioned. Actually I have a lot of gay friends and one lesbian cousin. When I read about what COMELEC did and said something hot words about LGBT, aba! syempre di ko naiwasan magalit at manginig ang laman. They DISCRIMINATING every FILIPINO LGTB. Yeah I'm proud for being Bisexual and only 18 at age but hey I am totally aware about what's happening in our society.

May God Bless my beloved homeland, the Philippines this coming years.

A night swimming and a good location to do the whole celebration. Haha! NASA made the stunning announcement earlier today after its moon bombing mission successfully revealed water under the lunar surface. And now the Google logo depicts the bombing revealing water."

First U.S. marijuana cafe opens in Portland, OR.

PORTLAND, Oregon (Reuters) – The United States' first marijuana cafe opened on Friday, posing an early test of the Obama administration's move to relax policing of medical use of the drug.

The Cannabis Cafe in Portland, Oregon, is the first to give certified medical marijuana users a place to get hold of the drug and smoke it -- as long as they are out of public view -- despite a federal ban.

"This club represents personal freedom, finally, for our members," said Madeline Martinez, Oregon's executive director of NORML, a group pushing for marijuana legalization.

"Our plans go beyond serving food and marijuana," said Martinez. "We hope to have classes, seminars, even a Cannabis Community College, based here to help people learn about growing and other uses for cannabis."

The cafe -- in a two-story building which formerly housed a speak-easy and adult erotic club Rumpspankers -- is technically a private club, but is open to any Oregon residents who are NORML members and hold an official medical marijuana card.

Members pay $25 per month to use the 100-person capacity cafe. They don't buy marijuana, but get it free over the counter from "budtenders". Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., it serves food but has no liquor license.

There are about 21,000 patients registered to use marijuana for medical purposes in Oregon. Doctors have prescribed marijuana for a host of illnesses, including Alzheimer's, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and Tourette's syndrome.

On opening day, reporters invited to the cafe could smell, but were not allowed to see, people smoking marijuana.

"I still run a coffee shop and events venue, just like I did before we converted it to the Cannabis Cafe, but now it will be cannabis-themed," said Eric Solomon, the owner of the cafe, who is looking forward to holding marijuana-themed weddings, film festivals and dances in the second-floor ballroom.

NO PROSECUTION

The creation of the cafe comes almost a month after the Obama administration told federal attorneys not to prosecute patients who use marijuana for medical reasons or dispensaries in states which have legalized them.

About a dozen states, including Oregon, followed California's 1996 move to adopt medical marijuana laws, allowing the drug to be cultivated and sold for medical use. A similar number have pending legislation or ballot measures planned.

Pot cafes, known as "coffee shops", are popular in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, where possession of small amounts of marijuana is legal. Portland's Cannabis Cafe is the first of its kind to open in the United States, according to NORML.

Growing, possessing, distributing and smoking marijuana are still illegal under U.S. federal law, which makes no distinction between medical and recreational use.

Federal and local law enforcement agencies did not return phone calls from Reuters on Friday seeking comment on the Portland cafe's operations.

"To have a place that is this open about its activities, where people can come together and smoke -- I say that's pretty amazing." said Tim Pate, a longtime NORML member, at the cafe.

Some locals are hoping it might even be good for business.

"I know some neighbors are pretty negative about this place opening up," said David Bell, who works at a boutique that shares space with the cafe. "But I'm withholding judgment. There's no precedent for it. We don't know what to expect. But it would great if it brought some customers into our store."

Just made an account to another blog platform a few weeks ago. Tonight, I tried to hang out at the site and I found my self a man losing in a island lol. Aside from the fact that's my first time to use their service and been adopting its environment, maybe time will come and I'll able to adopt the said site either if ever I'll try it again. :D. Actually I decided to leave Blogspot but still it wins my heart.Yeah I admit the other blog platform that I'm talking about is much more way fun to use because of its uniqueness but Blogspot has its own attraction to me that I can't found to the first one that I've mentioned.

I considered this site as my new world; been posted here some of my so called personal sentiments since I'm a fully private person lmao. I'd created more blog accounts here and this blog, my latest one will become my last one blog. I'm promised. :)

So yeah, I wish I can run this new world of mine as a totally random. A crazystuuuff page indeed.

Actually I'm too late to discover this great and awesome Firefox add-on for Twitter web client. @PowerTwitter is a must have add-on for those who contented for using Twitter interface on its web site but looking for another feature like on Twitter's 3rd-party apps Tweetdeck, Seesmic and a like, @PoweTwitter will quite possibly the best way to enhance your Twitter experience!

Here's a quick preview on how this tiny tool will change not only your Twitter homepage but your Twitter experience with a bang! :)

Can't save your password on @PowerTwitter setting? Do follow this simple step:

- go to about:config in your address bar
- modify the setting powertwitter.ptPrefPassword
- type your username|password (e.i. twitter|twitter)
