You may want to read that again. I guess this confirms what we all already knew, but I am not interested in that 19%, it's the 81% that believe we will be better off if we win the war I'm concerned about. If these Democrats really believe this then why are they so headstrong on leaving the job undone? How can they say the world will be better and at the same time call for an immediate withdrawal of the troops?

This would explain Hillary's back peddling on the issue of a timetable for the war, if elected. First, she voted to authorize the war, then in 2005 she said her vote to authorize the war was a mistake, by 2007 she is sounding hawkish again stating that she is "not for imposing a . . . certain withdrawal date". Could it be that Hillary actually thought the situation through a little better than 81% of the Democrats? Probably not, but she foresees the disaster that would be Iraq if we leave any time soon and has even hinted that Iraq could be used as a base from which the U.S. can threaten Iran. Can you say passive-aggressive?

This is not a popular war with the Democrats and whether or not there were WMD's will be debated from now till the end of never, but the fact remains we are there, and I hope we're in it to win it (no pun). So these 81% need to decide what it is they really want to see happen, because you can't have it both ways, you have to let our troops finish the job and have the world, as they themselves say, be a better place or withdraw and have a vacuum in the middle east that will no doubt be filled by the Islamo-fascists. At least we know where the traitorous other 19% stand.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. I am a southerner born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Both my parents were from the south, my father from Pollock, Louisiana and my mother from Athens, Georgia. Almost needless to say they were southern democrats. My father passed away over twenty years ago and I sometimes wonder if he would still be a democrat today, because this is not the same party it was twenty years ago.

Somewhere along the way the democrats let the far-left extremists take control of their party, the compassion once demonstrated by the democrats has been replaced with a pseudo-compassion expressed by a movement toward socialism. Take a look at the policies and the mindset of the democrats to decide, a few examples include free health care (which, of course, isn't free at all), political correctness which is a form of self-imposed censorship and an anti-war stance that is blindly followed even by more moderate democrats to the eventual detriment of the country.

True compassion does not manifest itself in the form of socailism, to tax all for the benefit of the few is as wrong as ignoring the plight of the needy in the first place. Compassion involves recognizing the poorest among us and giving them a hand up, yes here it comes, not a hand-out. America is built on hard work and self-sufficiency, not standing in a line with your hand held out. Charity and compassion are wonderful things, but you can't tax social equality into being.

Compassion includes seeing things as they really are, not using veiled words and meanings to hide the uncomfortable truth. The far-left seems poised at every turn to be shocked and outraged at the heartless conservatives for calling a spade a spade. The democrats have a built-in victim list and those on the list whether they be Female, Black, Hispanic or Gay must never be called to task for their actions no matter how outrageous. The injustices imposed on them in past more than make up for any prejudice or bigotry they may show toward others.

The anti-war faction of the far-left will not tolerate any dissent in their ranks, the more moderate democrats can't be seen as supporting the war for fear they'll be seen as hawkish by the "peace at any price" crowd that now has its voice in their party, they occasionally stick their head out of the bunker chanting "we support the troops" while waving an American flag, as soon as the first volley is fired their way they quickly retreat into the safety of their wormhole.

No, this is not my fathers democratic party nor is it JFK's or even FDR's party, that's why I proudly call myself a republican and I think my father would understand.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. So sit there and shut your pimpled face, you third generation love child!-Robert

The protesting students, members of the Student Worker Club, want administrators to hold the pledge reading in the auditorium during each of the school's two lunch periods for any students who want to participate. The Student Worker Club? Is that like The Workers Party? Is this the Junior Communists of America Club?-Robert

Otherwise, they said, they plan to walk out each Thursday when the pledge is read and recite their version, which omits the reference to God and adds allegiance to constitutional rights, diversity and freedom, among other things.

"Boulder High has a highly diverse population, not all of whom believe in God, or one God," said Emma Martens, a senior and president of the club, which has about a dozen members.

"We didn't think it was fair for the whole school to have to listen to it. It's almost religious oppression," she said. These kids know nothing about oppression.-Robert

Principal Bud Jenkins told the Camera newspaper on its Web site Thursday the pledge will not be moved, but added he was proud of the students for standing up for their beliefs.

It was not immediately clear what discipline, if any, the protesting students would face.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. By comparison, the NRA PAC donated $11 million in 2006.

"They give away and raise about three times as much as the National Rifle Association," said Massie Ritsch, communications director for the Center for Responsive Politics. "A tremendous amount of money, especially when you consider how quickly they came on the scene."

Brief History, Lasting Impact

Founded in 1998 by Wes Boyd and Joan Blades (pictured above), MoveOn.org started as an online petition to stop the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in the aftermath of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. Boyd and Blades, software engineers from Berkeley, Calif., posted a petition on the Internet seeking signatures for Congress to censure Clinton and "move on" to other domestic issues.

The online petition attracted like-minded liberals and MoveOn began a near-continuous dialogue with its members about what it should do to influence American politics. It created its PAC in 1999 and began attracting money for the 2000 campaign, raising, according to reports, $250,000 in the first five days and $2 million for the entire cycle. Though impressive for its first cycle, MoveOn did not find its true voice or tap into deep-seated anti-war angst until after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

"To combat terrorism, we must act in accordance with a high standard that does not disregard the lives of people in other countries," reads a petition drawn up by the organization after the attacks. "If we retaliate by bombing Kabul and kill people oppressed by the Taliban dictatorship who have no part in deciding whether terrorists are harbored, we become like the terrorists we oppose."

That dovish advocacy flowed seamlessly into MoveOn's campaign against the Iraq war, leading to a wider Internet following, bigger membership and larger contributions. MoveOn continued its anti-war campaign after the invasion of Iraq and mobilized money and members in the 2004 presidential election, rallying around Howard Dean's campaign and helping propel him to front-runner status in the polls and shattering all previous online fund-raising records.

A Funnel of Funding

The 2006 election cycle thrust MoveOn into the ranks of potent pro-Democrat organizations. Never before had the group's ability to identify candidates and collect small donations on their behalf yield bigger results.

"MoveOn has grown into one of the biggest political action committees in the country," Ritsch said. "MoveOn collects money and says to its members 'We're going to pass that money along.' They're a conduit. They are aggregating and assembling all the money and pooling their resources so it adds up to big influence."

MoveOn backs candidates and asks members to send contributions on their behalf. They pass the donations on directly and handle all the paperwork.

"They're speaking for the grassroots," Ritsch said. "This is a form of bundling."

A quick tally of MoveOn-directed contributions in the 2006 election cycle, according to records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, offers a sample of the impressive size of its donations:

— Sen. Robert Byrd, West Virginia = $834,211

— Sen. Claire McCaskill, Missouri = $382,531

— Sen. Jon Tester, Montana = $301,788

— Sen. Sherrod Brown, Ohio = $287,622

— Sen. Bob Casey, Pennsylvania = $160,780

Those contributions helped build a Senate Democratic majority as four of the five entered the Senate for the first time. McCaskill and Tester won razor-thin victories over well-funded GOP incumbents Jim Talent and Conrad Burns.

MoveOn-directed contributions also propelled several Democratic challengers to House victories, among them: Nick Lampson, Texas' 22nd District, $156,883; Tim Mahoney, Florida's 16th District, $145,334; Zack Space, Ohio's 18th District, $141,298; Michael Arcuri, New York's 24th District, $129,685; Joe Donnelly, Indiana's 2nd District, $123,035, and Tim Walz, Minnesota's 1st District, $102,657.

"They can help you a lot if you're a (MoveOn) candidate," said Byron York, White House correspondent for the conservative National Review magazine and author of "The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy," a book on powerful liberal groups and their organizing practices.

"They live by the $25, $50 and $100 contributions. They have become a real powerhouse in Democratic circles. The smaller the contributions, the more people it takes to come up with a big amount of money. They can legitimately say they represent a large segment of the Democratic primary electorate," York said.

MoveOn's clout was visible most recently in the muted and belated response from prominent Democrats in the aftermath of the organization's full-page New York Times advertisement last week questioning whether congressional testimony by Army Gen. David Petraeus, head of Multinational Forces in Iraq, would "Betray Us?"

On Capitol Hill, Democrats avoided the issue for days as did the party's top presidential candidates. Only after days and days of coverage did prominent Democrats declare the advertisement out of bounds.
These two should be tried for treason and punished accordingly.-R.Y.

Tale of Torment

MoveOn directs no contributions to Republican candidates or incumbents, instead avidly spending money against the GOP. It spent more than $2.5 million in 2006 in independent expenditures against Republicans.

House GOP incumbents who lost in 2006 and saw significant MoveOn independent expenditures against them can testify. Among those hardest hit: Charlie Bass, New Hampshire's 2nd District, $143,266; Chris Chocola, Indiana's 2nd District, $245,603; Melissa Hart, Pennsylvania's 4th District, $297,603; and Nancy Johnson, Connecticut's 5th District, $444,424.

Two House Republicans survived the MoveOn independent expenditure onslaught in '06, Rep. Deborah Pryce, who represents Ohio's 15th District, absorbed $417,623 in MoveOn wrath but won a narrow victory nevertheless. Pryce recently announced she will not seek re-election to a ninth term. Rep. Thelma Drake of Virginia's 2nd District won a second term with 51 percent of the vote after withstanding $529,535 in MoveOn independent expenditure torment, giving her the distinction among House Repubicans of taking the most expensive independent expenditure punch MoveOn threw in the 2006 campaign and living to tell the tale.

MoveOn also punishes Democrats who stray from their liberal, anti-war world view. MoveOn ran a radio ad against Michigan Democratic Rep. John Dingell when he announced his opposition to higher fuel economy standards for automobiles and light trucks.

The script of the brief radio campaign portrayed a conversation between a father and son about something called a Dingellsaurus. The child asks his father what that is. The script reads in part:

"Someone who's been in Congress so long, he forgets about the people who sent him there," says the father.

"Are there any around today?" asks son, Billy, to which the father replies: "Our own Congressman John Dingell. He's standing in the way of the first energy bill ever that would really combat global warming. It would also help the auto companies in the long run and that means more jobs."

"Is a Dingellsaurus dangerous?" Billy asks. The father replies: "Very, because if the Dingellsaurus gets his way, we could all be extinct."

Earlier this month, MoveOn ran a brief television campaign against Washington Democratic Rep. Brian Baird after he returned from a trip to Iraq and announced the Bush troop surge may be achieving important military gains. The ad featured an anti-war Iraq veteran. The script reads in part: "Keeping American soldiers in Iraq for an indefinite period of time being attacked by an unidentifiable enemy is immoral and irresponsible." It asked viewers to "Tell Rep. Baird: Support Our Troops. He’s announced that he’s decided to live in Portland, Oregon because it’s “the biggest media market in Oregon” and he would feel safer there.

Jack originally wanted to live in Gold Beach. Kudos go to the Gold Beach Police who warned Jack that they’d be keeping a close eye on him. Jack immediately ran off crying and complaining about his “safety”.

Jack’s already up to his old tricks and bragging about it as well. He says he “already attended a big GL event in the area (The Oregon State Fair in Salem), and had a great time with no problems. There are several more GL events coming up this weekend that look promising, and I doubt I’ll be bored living here.”

It is painfully obvious that Jack loves the attention. He never would have made this announcement otherwise. So, Jack, don’t whine about how everyone is going to follow you all around Portland. Because they will, now that I’ve emailed a good portion of them.

Let me make this clear. If you are living in Portland, keep an eye out for Jack because he’s stalking little girls. He’s sexually attracted to girls as young as 3 years old. He’s determined to boast about this and rub it in your faces. Don’t let him do this. Don’t give him power over you. Don’t live in fear, instead, live with awareness. Be aware of not only Jack, but all the other Jacks out there that we don’t know about.

There are several events planned for this weekend in the Portland area. WFI has notified these events along with the local police department to keep an eye out for Jack.
Just keep looking over your shoulder Jack…

Cross posted with:
Warriors For Innocence

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. They had obtained some 1,500 pounds of hydrogen peroxide for making explosives.

It seems like the converts are the most militant at times-R.Y.

"We were able to succeed in recognizing and preventing the most serious and massive bombings," Harms told reporters.

Harms declined to name specific targets, but said the suspects had an eye on institutions and establishments frequented by Americans in Germany, including discos, pubs and airports.

Sudwestfunk televison, citing unnamed security sources in Berlin, reported that Frankfurt international airport and U.S. Ramstein Air Base were among the targets.

Defense Minister Franz Josef Jung, appearing on a morning ARD television show, was asked if the airport and U.S. base were targeted.

"I ask you to understand that I cannot say anything about the details. But I will say again, our security forces were very active here and in my view did very good work," Jung said.

He also said: "I can only say that our security forces did very good work in that this action tonight was possible, it also shows how direct the threat situation was."

Later, Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble was asked about the reports and said that "we don't know exactly what the targets of the attacks were."

The suspects, delivered by helicopter, made a first appearance at a closed hearing at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe.

Gordon Johndroe, spokesman for the National Security Council, said that President Bush had been briefed on the arrests and that he's "pleased a potential attack was thwarted and appreciates the work of the German authorities and the cooperation by international law enforcement."

Officials said the solution of hydrogen peroxide, stored in a hideout, could have been mixed easily with other additives to produce a bomb with the explosive power of 1,200 pounds of TNT.

"This would have enabled them to make bombs with more explosive power than the ones used in the London and Madrid bombings," Joerg Ziercke, the head of the Federal Crime Office _ Germany's equivalent of the FBI _ said at a joint news conference with Harms.

The three suspects _ two Germans, ages 22 and 28, and a 29-year-old Turk _ first came to the attention of authorities because they had been caught observing a U.S. military facility in Hanau, near Frankfurt, at the end of 2006, officials said.

Thank God whoever reported them didn't have to worry about being sued by the terrorist.

All three had undergone training at camps in Pakistan run by the Islamic Jihad Union, and had formed a German cell of the group, which officials said was influenced by al-Qaida.

The Islamic Jihad Union was described as a Sunni Muslim group based in Central Asia that was an offshoot of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, an extremist group with origins in that country.

"The group, which is influenced by al-Qaida, set up a German cell in winter of 2006 with the goal of finding recruits here to carry out attacks," Harms said.

The three had no steady work and were drawing unemployment benefits while their main occupation was the plot, officials said. "This group distinguishes itself through its profound hatred of U.S. citizens," Ziercke said.

Hey, they've got all day to sit around and plot our downfall. All things must be equal, everyone should share the pie, no matter whether they helped bake it or even supplied the recipe. It's not fair.....the mantra of the democrat's who believe equity is a state that can be attained.

All things are not equal, some have more because they work harder, men have more upper body strength than women, some people are smarter than you or I (or is it me and you?). Is that fair? Maybe, maybe not, but it IS a fact of life. Equity is not an option, that's not to say we shouldn't help the poor or the less fortunate, but to think that we all someday will be equal is a socialist ideology.

The 2000 Presidential election is a good example of the "it's not fair" manifesto, the democrats cry foul and beg the courts for a "do-over". Some going so far as to not recognize a duly elected President, they count and recount like some cargo cult money changer until, hopefully, the numbers somehow will fall their way. When this doesn't happen we get four years of whining and crying like a toddler who just had his pacifier taken away.

Speaking of whining and crying, anywhere you see a group of people holding signs and singing songs in a public location, you can safely bet that The Cult is involved. The Cult believes that chanting while holding signs magically evokes the "Protest Spirits" to look favorably on their chosen cause and grant them Nirvana. Whether they desire organically grown tofu or smoke free cigar clubs the protest seems to be The Cults favorite course of action. Don't worry about planning, implementing and hard work to make changes, just cause enough commotion and someone will take notice and do the work for you.

Work seems to be a four letter word to The Cult, I'm not implying that there aren't hard workers in The Cult, but it seems they happily allow some to sit at home and suckle at the government teat as long as they remain Cult members for generations and school their children in the ways of The Cult. All the while breaking down the family unit by discouraging marriage lest they lose Cult benefits and favor.

Don't be deceived the far-left is a cult and their numbers are growing.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Young

Hillary Clinton has again revealed her true colors on the campaign trail, while campaigning in New Hampshire Thursday she said that she would be "the best of the Democrats to deal with" the "horrible prospect" of another terrorist attack against the United States. That's all well and good, but why does Ms. Clinton think it would be so "horrible"? Well, to quote Madame Hillary another attack "will automatically give the Republicans an advantage again."

And there you have it, not the "horrible" loss of life or the "horrible" destruction of property or even the "horrible" blow to the psyche of the Nation. No, only the "horrible prospect" of a Republican advantage. Partisan politics in the wake of a 9/11 type attack is the best we can expect from the power hungry Clinton. One word comes to mind to describe another Clinton in the White House: "horrible".

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Young

The multiple bombings Tuesday in Iraq against the minority Yazidi community highlights the growing desperation of al Qaeda. Recent bombings against fellow Muslims have turned some Sunni Arabs against them, while the Yazidi live on the fringes of Iraqi society, therefore are deemed fair game by al Qaeda and other mainstream Iraqis look away.

The bombings are a response to the surge actually working in Iraq, an act aimed right at the U.S. press (and the democrats in congress), who will no doubt play right into the hands of al Qaeda. With the tide turning and even the New York Times admitting progress as a result of the surge, al Qaeda needed a spectacular event to take the headlines from optimism to gloom and doom. Kenneth M. Pollack, a leading expert on Iraq, who had in the past been critical of the war told the Times that "we did have the right strategy" in Iraq.

Al Qaeda has lost top leaders and training personal, and they have lost some support in Iraq. There will be more bloodshed in Iraq in the coming weeks and months, but don't mistake these as al Qaeda victories, they are acts of desperation aimed at spinning the press and anti-war liberals back into a "cut and run mode".

Gen. David Petraeus' new relentless strategy of "kick 'em while they're down" is a great improvement over achieving military wins, then stepping back while the enemy regroups and recovers. The war is not over and it seems some democrats in congress and even a few left wing bloggers have had to admit the surge just might work. Don't you just hate it for them?

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Young

In part one of the Cult of Liberalism I discussed the lefts hatred for Bush, Christianity, and their moral relativism. In part two I will examine the impact The Cults beliefs have had on our society.

Although I have discussed this in a previous blog entry it bares repeating, the lefts stance on abortion and the death penalty are at odds with each other. In other words, how can you decry the fate of a convicted murderer facing lethal injection and yet, in the same breath, support pro-choice ( or as I like to call it, pro-baby killing). These beliefs cannot be reconciled no matter how you clothe them. The bleeding hearts outside the prison at midnight are the same ones wearing a neon orange sandwich board at the pro-choice rally, and they see not a bit of the irony.

The Cult has also learned that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and the far left are the squeakiest group of whiners you're likely to find anywhere. Instead of hard work and personal responsibility, The Cult instead cries to high heaven about their "rights", and what's owed to them. Why should they work hard and pay for medical insurance, doesn't the government owe them that? Why save for the future when Social Security and Medicare will take care of them?

It is not the governments job to feed and clothe your children, or even educate them for that matter (we all know what a fine job they do at education). They are not there to plan for your retirement or hold your hand when you go nighty-night. The federal governments main job is to defend the country, and when they start getting into other areas it usually ends bad.

One prominent cult member has said that it "takes a village". Don't believe it. It takes two dedicated parents (in some cases one) to love and nurture and teach basic core values to a child. To show the child the difference between right and wrong, and make them see there are consequences for the actions, good or bad.

As with any good cult The Cult of Liberalism has its brainwashing techniques, in their case it's called Political Correctness. The omnipresence of eggshell walkers in their midst. The running of scripts through their mind until it sounds "just right" before it dare show itself, or risk the unpardonable act of "hurt feelings". Only behind closed doors with the curtains drawn tight can they really speak their mind, lest the thought police consign them forever to the Land of Nod.

Heather may well have "two mommies", but do I want to explain why to my five year old grandson? No. While I don't want to intentionally hurt Heathers "feelings", neither do I want a classroom full of impressionable children exposed to a lifestyle many Christians (and others) feel is immoral and unnatural. As far as Heathers "feelings" go, she can work that out in therapy along with the rest of the issues her "two mommies" saddled upon her.

Another striking attribute of The Cult is their unwavering love of America's enemies. Their underlying loathing of all things patriotic, if it's good for America then it must be bad for The Cult. I sometimes wonder if this is a form of self-hatred or just self- flagellation brought about by their subconscious and, if so, how it manifests itself in their personal life. Why does it bring such glee to The Cult when our country stumbles? It's much more than partisan politics at play (say that three times real fast) it's an almost pathological need to see the country fail and, it seems to me, speed the process of failure at every turn.

Well, I'm not done yet, Part III coming soon.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Young
I am a bit of a internet junkie and surf and stumble at least an hour or so a day (some days a lot more), and I usually wind up on some blogs and some random StumbleUpon pages. I have found a strange pattern that I'd like to share with you. As I surf I always find an abundance of liberal blogs and websites and there seems to be a recurring theme in them all. I'll go over point by point what they all have in common, it's a phenomena I'll call The Cult of Liberalism.

First of all is their unanimous detestation of Bush, each one sharing the latest cartoon or photo shop image portraying The President as a childish buffoon or naive dullard. While I have no problem with political satire, this brand of lampooning has no real editorial content, it is just a baseness all for the sake of a devilish snicker, something akin to a dirty joke told in the boy's locker room. The same joke told over and over again, a joke that was not that clever in the first place.

Another common theme is a real hatred of the Christian religion, usually masked in some allegedly humorous anecdote or Youtube video describing how only a complete moron could believe in the miracle of creation, while espousing the more intelligent (in their minds) theory of evolution. Why it escapes them that an intelligent design is needed to begin evolution I don't know.

A related thread that runs through the liberal beliefs is the cult of global warming , a belief held on to so dearly as to ignore any evidence to the contrary and bordering on an almost Wiccan worship of the earth , even to the detriment of the occupants living on it, namely humans. One such website describes how the earth will be a better place when we can get rid of one billion of the inhabitants on it. Save the Mother (earth) by killing her offspring, does that sound familiar? If the earth is their God then Al Gore must surely be the savior, meting out redemption one carbon offset at a time.

Next we have a near moral retardation, as long as it feels good then it must be OK, there is no absolute right or wrong to the liberal mind. They seem to stand for nothing more than what it takes to ease the gnawing feeling that they may be, deep down, wrong in their belief that there is no God and no moral absolutes: That right is right and wrong is wrong and that morality isn't relative, they ignore the fact that humans have an internal compass and external universal laws that need to be observed, and that by denying their existence doesn't make them any less so.

Now we come to the most curious of the cults behavior, the superiority complex. "Bush is wrong and I am right, conservatives are bigots and I am therefore open minded and 'progressive'". "There is no God so all Christians must be naive bumpkins who are searching for a 'crutch' to get through life, while I through my superior intellect have it all figured out."

If you have had any dealings at all with the liberal mind you'll find these common themes running through their beliefs, I will point out more of The Cult's beliefs in Part II.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Citizenship applications went from $330 to $595. On Tuesday, Daly asked the city attorney to draw up legislation that would subsidize immigrants applying for citizenship, green cards and petitions for relatives and workers.

On the same day, apparently to further generate sympathy for immigrants and bolster Daly's bailout effort, Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval introduced a resolution condemning popular radio talk-show host Michael Savage, a mainstay of the San Francisco airways for years. Since he was syndicated nationally by Talk Radio Network, Savage has become one of the nation's most-listened-to radio talkers.

Condemning the "defamatory language used by radio personality Michael Savage against immigrants," Sandoval's resolution is apparently in response to Savage's July 5 broadcast, when the talker commented on a group of students who had announced they were fasting in support of changes in immigration policy.

"I would say, let them fast until they starve to death," quipped Savage, "then that solves the problem."

Sandoval's resolution calls Savage's comments "symbolic of hatred and racism," according to the Examiner.

"I really for the life of me cannot understand why there is not more media outrage to what Michael Savage said," Sandoval said in the Examiner report, which added that Sandoval plans to hold a press conference on the steps of City Hall Tuesday just before the entire Board of Supervisors votes on his resolution against Savage.

"The intolerant and racist comments of Michael Savage demand a strong condemnation," Sandoval insisted.

However, almost all of the Examiner's readers who posted comments on the newspaper's website after the story sided with Savage.

Representative responses included these:

"Hey Sandoval, we are not outraged at Michael Savage because we agree with him ... check the polls on immigration, lame-o."

"Screw Sandoval and the illegal alien criminals who continue to invade this country. The entire campaign, complete with details of battles against Rush Limbaugh, Savage and other top talkers, is revealed in-depth in the current edition of WND's monthly Whistleblower magazine, titled THE WAR ON TALK RADIO."

The liberals just do not get it, they are the ones outraged, not the conservatives. I applaud Micheal Savage for having the guts to speak out on issues that others in talk radio have tiptoed around. While I don't always agree with Savage, you must admire his courage to say what he says in the liberal hotbed of San Fransisco. On this topic, I totally agree, send the illegals home and do it now. It's not popular to say, but it needs to be said. All this crap about helping them become citizens is ridiculous, they are here illegally, and it seems the libs can't grasp this simple truth. Send them home or throw them in prison! Young

Where to begin, last night the first ever "Gay Debates" were held, sponsored by LOGO TV and a militant gay rights group. So it's come to this, the democrats are officially the party of the gays. JFK must be rolling in his grave.

This brings up the issue that most conservative republicans see homosexuality as a sin, while the Dems see it as a civil rights issue. But there are, contrary to some republicans beliefs, some Christian democrats, and I ask myself what their feelings are about their party showing up for this debate. As the Democrats keep moving farther and farther to left, where has a Christian democrat to go? A true Christian republican or democrat can't be comfortable with the debate, as witnessed by not one GOP candidate agreeing to participate. The word that comes to mind to describe the democrats who did show up is pandering.

Hillary Clinton said the republicans “demeaning, degrading and mean-spirited” opposition to gay rights “is over.” What is demeaning, degrading and mean-spirited about voicing your Christian belief that homosexuality is immoral, as stated in your religion? And if you dare state your belief, then you are a "far right religious zealot ".

The more I see of the far lefts opportunistic goings on, the more I believe they really don't stand for anything. They just go which ever way the wind blows, they would sell out their own Mother for a vote. They have sold out to pro-choice, they have sold out to Cindy Sheehan and her anti-war nuts, they have sold out to the Koz kids and now they have sold out to the militant gays. Can you say pandering? If you don't have any basic core beliefs then it becomes easy to say and do anything to get a vote. Welcome to the church of liberalism.

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. In November 1962, the FBI cracked a terrorist plot by Cuban agents who targeted Macy’s, Gimbel’s, Bloomingdale’s and Grand Central Terminal. They planned to blow up those landmarks with 12 incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT the day after Thanksgiving. Several months before visiting New York in December 1964 and being feted by the toast of the city’s intelligentsia, Che hatched a plan with the Black Liberation Army to blow up the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell and the Washington Monument. The plotters were infiltrated in 1965 by a sharp-eyed NYPD cadet.

- Che detested rock and roll and railed against “long hairs,” “lazy youths,” and homosexuals. At one point, he wrote that the young must always “listen carefully - and with the utmost respect – to the advice of their elders who held governmental authority.”

- Che sidelined black Cubans and mocked those who were part of the revolutionary movement. He once told radio host Luis Pons, “We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing.”

- Che personally ordered 700 executions by firing squad, which he supervised at his jungle headquarters in Cuba. He also hosted book burnings, torching thousands of books owned by suspect intellectuals and librarians. From Muckracked.com

Do these kids know that their walking around with a sadistic killer on their shirts, or they just don't care? In the end even Castro turned his back on this madman, but the liberals try to glorify him on their t-shirts. It all comes down to image with the libs, never mind he was a ruthless killer, as long as he represents the socialist (communist) values they hold so dear.- Robert D. Their culture squashes any glimmer of free thought and the exchange of ideas. Note the use of reverse engineering using U.S. technology, they hate our way of life but they love the fruits of freedom, that is the definition of hypocrisy. Iran needs to be dealt with swiftly and sternly. The time for sanctions and words is over, Iran's intentions are very clear, first destroy Israel and then every other freedom loving country possible. It's time to get rid of all of those in the mid-east who can't "play well" with others.- Robert D. First he goes and cavorts with the enemy in Iran, now he's kissing the backside of a socialist dictator. This is as bad as Hanoi Jane Fonda during Vietnam. During a time of war you do not go to a foreign country and criticize our president, do it at home, fine, but not in a socialist country ran by a mad dictator. These Hollywood scumbags are forgetting which side their bread is buttered on. I am sick of them raking in millions of dollars here and then criticizing the country that made them rich. If you don't like it, stay in Iran awhile and see how many millions you make there. Here's some advice for Sean Penn- Next time your limousine pulls up at the pump at the Citgo station, remember where the money to fill your tank came from, namely the hard-working Americans from this land you seem to despise so much.-Robert D. This is simply unbelievable that this is deemed ok to go on and then we are outraged when we hear that a child has been molested by one of these creeps.

The man who runs it, 45-year-old Jack McClellan, has never been convicted of a sex crime, which means he can attend any family-friendly events where children are present, and take all the pictures he wants for his Web site. He also lives close to a school bus stop.

McClellan says his purpose is to promote association, friendship and legal, consensual hugging and cuddling between men and pre-pubescent girls. He admitted to FOX News that his “age of attraction” is between 3 and 11 years old.

“I guess the main thing is I just think they’re cute, a lot cuter than women. I admit there is kind of an erotic arousal there,” McClellan said. Young
I was reading the Foxnews.com article about Gordon Browns' trip to Camp David, when I came across this quote from Brown: "Terrorism is not a cause, it is a crime and it is a crime against humanity," which is true and I agree with the statement, but it got me thinking what is terrorisms ultimate goal? It's true that it is not a cause but the Islamofascists don't believe that. They believe that it is the greatest of causes, and that the end game of their cause is a world that submits to the authority of Islam.
The problem with this scenario is that they have greatly underestimated the will and faith of the free people of the United States. Where in our history would they get the idea that Americans would submit to a fascist religious force? We have shown time and time again our hatred of fascism of any sort, political or religious, and are very willing to fight against it. If the Imans of the Muslim faith really believe that the U.S. will someday become an Islamic state, then they are delusional. We are not the America they see on television, we are working men and women who are just as determined to protect our children and our faith as they seem to be to destroy them. We are the so-called "fly-over country". The poor working stiffs with a dog on the porch and an arsenal of shotguns, handguns and miscellaneous weaponry (God bless the NRA) and there are a lot of us. We are not just our military force (God bless them also), we are every man, woman and child that will fight to the death against a fascist regime of any kind. If provoked, we will throw off the shackles of political correctness and get down in the mud and get dirty. If the Islamofascists keep poking at the wasp's nest they will get stung. The events after 9/11 showed this to some extent, but Bubba and me are getting just about fed up with what passes for homeland security. In my home I have, and always will have, security and I believe a lot of Americans can make that same statement. The message to the terrorist is clear, you will never win the hearts and minds of the American people, and you will have to fight to the very last one of us who believe Jesus is the son of God. So it is a simple as this: You cannot and will not win!

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. A serious debate was reduced to a bunch of motley characters, snowmen and puppets asking questions about global warming. This is not Hollywood, although I think a town hall Q&A is a great thing, it was reduced, by CNN, to a freak show that I hope any self respecting GOP candidate would've walked out on. We are in a time of serious danger from Islamic terrorists, and not once was the subject breeched in this dog and pony show. The Republicans should stay far away from this ridiculous stunt. -Robert Young

noreply@blogger.com (Robert D. Hillary Clinton promised "to focus like a laser on those earliest years."
"After all these years, I still believe it takes a village to raise a child," Clinton said.
Once again the far left is trying to reach into our homes and tell us "what's best " for us. With the failure of The Head Start program you'd think the left would've learned a lesson.
"Consider the views of child-development scholar Edward Zigler, a founder of Head Start. As far back as 1987, when educators were debating the merits of universal preschool, he warned, "'This is not the first time universal preschool education has been proposed…[In the past], as now, the arguments in favor of preschool education were that it would reduce school failure, lower dropout rates, increase test scores, and produce a generation of more competent high school graduates….Preschool education will achieve none of these results.'" From www.cato.org
The government does education as well as it does almost everything else. The answer to our education woes is not an earlier start or throwing more money at the problem, but if a bigger government can be had by the democrats then, they reason, it must be better. I've been discussing where I see America going, about what we need to do to keep our nation secure, what we must do to keep this remarkable economy growing, and the challenges we must address together for the next generation of Americans.

I believe the United States is at a crossroads, and what I'm hearing on the road is that a lot of people agree with me. They're ready to move forward together to meet our challenges here at home and abroad. They aren't buying into the defeatist talk about our security, our economy, and our future.

During this "testing the waters" effort we've undertaken, I've been saying the political waters feel pretty warm. It's allowed us to start laying the foundation of a good team across the country and to keep up this national conversation we've been having. Now we're going to take that conversation to a different level.

On Tuesday, August 7th, we're inaugurating a new weekly "I'm With Fred" email, complete with news, updates, and photos from the road. We're also working on the ImWithFred website 2.0, in order to keep in touch on a daily basis and to give you more opportunities to join us at events, help us organize, and spread the word about our efforts.

I'm excited about what I'm seeing out on the road.
