Polar- Well it is the Season!

The amazing 'Polar' experience was in Dublin recently and Pearl AV supplied full visual support to the Irish leg of the tour.The experience is visual portrait of the polar kingdoms with a unique live orchestral soundtrack arranged by John Harle. With previously unseen footage and stunning quality, it truly is a sensory feast of live audio and visual combined. Pearl provided a 24 foot wide 'ultra- brite' screen with a wapping 36,000 lumens from our HD Christie Roadster projector range. These in turn were fed from Mac servers to maintain full high definition quality throughout the show.

The Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Awards took place recently at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin. A glittering occasion, the night was dedicated to celebrating achievements of successful Irish women in thirteen award categories ranging from business, sport, entertainment, social equality and justice to name a few.

Teambuild with a difference!

Pearl AV filmed a 'flashmob' event in Dublin's Grafton Street for an international client. The team at Pearl were involved from the initial feasibility stage in making this very different challenge a reality. By working closely with our client and offering assistance in sourcing the various elements such as a specialist dance company (damhsa.ie), suitable event location and all the necessary aspects and elements to bring this ambitious project to fruition.

The task for the 100 strong group was to learn a three minute dance sequence and perform it 'live' as a Flashmob in one of Dublins 'busiest shopping districts: Grafton street, and all in a 3 hour window!

Pearl AV filmed, edited and played out in Hi Definiton a complete video package of the afternoon and performance at a gala dinner some four hours later. Not only did the group rise to this superbly, but they also provided an excellent distraction to the people of Dublin on a fine summer afternoon.

Pearl AV win 'Best AV Company' at Event Industry Awards 2011

There was also a special 'lifetime achievement' award to Lord Henry Mountcharles for his contribution to the industry for his now legendary concerts at Slane Castle.

Calcutta Run 2011

The Annual Calcutta Run took place recently from 'The Law Society' in Blackhall Place in Dublin. Ireland's legal profession once again took to the streets in force, raising in excess €150,000 for GOAL and the Peter McVerry Trust. Pearl AV were on hand for the pre race warm up, end of line and entertainment PA.
With 1000 entrants, the first across the line winners were John Eves and Caroline Crowley.
Congratulations to them both and all who took part.

BIGGER BETTER BRIGHTER CURVIER!

Pearl AV recently provided a full and complete production package for an awards ceremony held at "The Mansion House" Dublin. This venue hosts many awards ceremonies and Pearl AV's creative team managed to come up with something fresh, exciting and with a real "wow" factor.
A 130 foot curved(180 Degrees), wide projection vista that was 25 foot high offered a truly breathtaking display to some 400 attendees.The vista handles full motion video,graphics and presentation programmes. A 16 foot wide-screen floated on the centre of the vista was utilised for the formal aspects of the evening.Timed sequences in tandem with the screen content were also played across the entire backdrop.
All content for the screen and vista were specially created by Pearl AV's in house graphics team.The vista was projected by 3 of our 'Christie' High Definition 18,000 lumen projectors and the centre screen with an 8000 lumen.Our experienced production and technical crews ensured our clients enjoyed a thoroughly professional seamless show on the night.

Launch of AV Alliance

Pearl AV recently provided a full visual technical production service to the Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards for Sideline Productions. This event was recorded 'live' for national broadcast on TV3. Pearl AV supplied a full HD projection, mixing and source replay to three screens. The main screen a 24 x 13 foot was projected by a "Christie Roadster" 18,000 lumen projector ( the brightest in the country) with two 16:9 side screens serviced by our 8K HD Christies. We were also delighted to launch our brand new Roland V-1600HD vision mixer. This offers true HD to all screens and seamless mixing between sources. Get the "BIG" Picture with Pearl AV

Pearl AV recently provided a full visual relay and record production facility to a worship event held at the Citywest Hotel complex in Dublin.In excess of 20,000 people gathered for a night of singing, celebration and prayer in a specially constructed marquee. Separately the new Citywest Convention Centre played host to the "Youth Event" with some 3000 participants.Pearl AV provided an array of giant screens which relayed a blend of pictures and lyrics overlayed for the audience to participate and join in.

The marquee being over 150 metres in length and 40 metres wide made the giant screen relay an essential aspect to guarantee an excellent view to all who attended, regardless of where they were located. Pearl AV provided seven separate camera angles and a remote audience cam to relay all of the action to the giant screens.Also supplied were audio/video feeds to the hotel, conference centre and convention centre. A full visual reproduction and record package was supplied to the Convention Centre also.

Special Olympics Torch Run

The Special Olympics Ireland "Law Enforcement Torch Run" team paid a visit to the staff in Eircom HSQ at their new headquarters in Kilmainham. The Dublin Gospel Choir provided entertainmemt and music as the torch was passed by Athletes and Eircom staff down through the various levels of the building. Pearl AV were on hand with sound, visuals, staging and our technical team to produce a smooth running and enjoyable event.

Pearl AV has just completed supply of technical services and equipment to a high level conference in Dublin. The delegates (four hundred in total) were flown in from Australia for five intense days of conference business and two gala evenings, one with a top international act specially commissioned for a private performance. Pearl AV's remit was to supply a complete visuals package at the main venue, and compliment the second with a full av solution for any and every speaker support requirement.

The event was hailed as a complete success and Pearl AV's experienced technical team comprising of project managers, senior technicians, rigging crew, transport and warehouse managers ensured timely delivery of every aspect. With full pre-production advance planning this ensured a smooth and flawless operation across the five days.

Technically the modern, fresh and clean equipment supplied included four 18,000 lumen HD projectors (the brightest in Ireland), analog way axion and diventix systems, HD transmission systems, all across cat5, mac media servers with solid state drives guaranteeing smooth play-out of all media content to giant screens,(main screen 32 x 18)
Meantime, the second venue consisted of four conference environments, reception areas and smaller breakout spaces all fully fitted with fast efficient av, lighting and staging hardware.Also required was a stadium PA for a set piece in "Croke Park" stadium for delegates on one of the event days.

Calcutta Run 2010

This years Calcutta Run took place on Saturday May 15th. Pearl AV were there to provide Public Address Systems for Pre Race Warm Up, End of Line PA ,and DJ equipment for the Family Day Barbecue. With a massive turnout for its' 12th year this event raises much needed funds for "Peter Mc Verry Trust" and "Goal".
A beautiful sunny day provided the perfect conditions for running and for the family barbecue afterward. A great atmosphere ensured that everyone had a super day!
Pearl AV provided an outdoor PA with lots of thump to warm up a thousand plus runners!
A "finish" line PA provided the spectators with a full commentary to cheer all of the runners and walkers home.
The Calcutta Run DJ entertained the all with cool sounds into the afternoon and evening.

Pearl AV has responded to the disruption caused to conferencing by closure of airspace across Europe with our web based conferencing solution. This is achieved completely via the net and offers full size image of the person presenting with their presentation on a large screen (the same one used by local presenters).
