Mudroom Remodel - Before and Progress Report

Luke has been hard at work remodeling our mudroom. We use our mudroom a lot especially with having a big furry dog; however the set up was poorly designed for our needs. There was only one small narrow cabinet that didn't really fit shoes, and it was awkwardly located. The room also had very old aluminum windows and was not at all insulated, making it cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Well, our little guy is certainly growing - and so am I. It's hard to believe we will be meeting him in just a few short weeks! He is super active and gets the hiccups 2-5 times per day. According to our midwife the presence of hiccups signifies that he has an in-tact nervous system - hooray for baby brains! Ohio Baby Shower

Luke and I traveled back to Ohio after Thanksgiving to spend some time with my family and to attend my baby shower that my BFF Dana and mom threw for us. We have been hard at work on the baby boy's nursery. Once the room was primed, it was time for the paint. We wanted a neutral gray color and thought we successfully picked one from Lowe's; but when we got it on the wall it looked lavender - the color on the far left in the photo below.
