This post outlines in more detail all of the little projects that we did to make this room special and one of a kind for our little guy. Click here to see the full room photos and before and <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/QLhsh/~4/x_qzVJuq8RM" height="1" width="1"/>

Baby Sewing Projects

While luke has been hard at work in the mudroom, I have been spending my weekends and evenings in my little sewing sweat shop as of late. I am excited to share all of the little custom details I have made for our little man. Here is an image of the collection of fabrics that I have used for the nursery. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I found them on Spoonflower.com and fell in love.

Luke and I traveled back to Ohio after Thanksgiving to spend some time with my family and to attend my baby shower that my BFF Dana and mom threw for us.

My mom hosted at her house and went above and beyond on the decor. She did a really great job of decorating the house with a mix of Christmas and baby boy. Not easy to pull off, but she did!

I brought some Oregon hazelnuts for our guests <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/QLhsh/~4/zPEIFUpqZ0E" height="1" width="1"/>

Christmas 2012

Here are a few photos from our Christmas at home. We enjoyed a quiet holiday at home, with full realization that next year, things will be much different!

We have been hard at work on the baby boy's nursery. Once the room was primed, it was time for the paint. We wanted a neutral gray color and thought we successfully picked one from Lowe's; but when we got it on the wall it looked lavender - the color on the far left in the photo below. Ugh, another wasted gallon of paint. I think I've finally learned my lesson about getting samples first.

It's official. We're pregnant! Well, I guess it's more than official seeing as how we are 17 weeks along. Pregnancy so far has been a breeze. The only real symptoms I've had are fatigue (in the first trimester), some headaches and some heart pounding. From what I've heard and read, I'm getting off easy.

I started to feel the baby move at about 15 weeks. At first I thought, now way. <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/QLhsh/~4/bJCi1uRnx-w" height="1" width="1"/>

NoCal Vaca 2012!
