लौकिकार्थाने त्या तिघी "एकट्याच"… तिघी वयाच्या वेगळ्या टप्प्यावर…वेगळ्या कारणांमुळे ….लग्न झालेल्या तरीही एकट्या …

आयुष्याच्या प्रवासात उतार एकत्र ,संध्याकाळी निवांत पणे चालत असताना त्याच्यासोबतचा अचानक संपलेला तो प्रवास तिला एकट करून सोडतो …

समाजासाठी लग्न झालेला आहे पण जो घरात त्या समाजाचा आब न बाळगता मनावरच नाही तर शरीरावर देखील तेवढेच वार करणारा जाणीवपूर्वक घटस्फोट घेऊन "तो संपवलेला" प्रवास तिला एकट करून सोडतो…

स्वताचा मान म्हणजे "आत्मसन्मान", आणि तुझा  मान म्हणजे "इगो"…. अश्या परिस्थितीत पुन्हा एकदा नवीन वाटा शोधण्याचा तो प्रवास तिला एकट करून सोडतो …

ती एकटी आहे पण "ती" आहे…. मुलं बाळ, नातवंड साऱ्यानी  मिळून आयुष्य पूर्ण आहे….स्वतच्य ररुटीन मध्ये ती रमते आहे…अर्धा राहिलेला प्रवास तो सोबत आहे असा मानून एकटी 'एन्जोय' करते आहे…
ती समृद्ध आहे……

ती एकटी आहे पण "ती" आहे…. घरात, नातेवाईकांमध्ये वेगळी/अबोल असलेली ती बाहेरच्या जगात हसते आहे, खेळते आहे…… नात्याचा कदाचित 'धसका' घेतलाय तिने… पण हळू हळू ती उमलत आहे….त्याच नसणं ती 'एन्जोय' करते आहे….
ती  स्वतःला स्वतःमध्ये  शोधण्यात मग्न आहे….

ती एकटी आहे पण "ती' आहे… मुलांसाठी आई आणि बाबा तीच आहे… स्वतःची स्पेस मिळवत मोकळा श्वास ती घेत आहे… लोकांसाठी अजूनही होप्स आहे… पण तिच्या भरारीची तयारी केंव्हाच झालेली आहे…

खऱ्या अर्थाने तिच्या जीवनाची ती 'शिल्पकार ' आहे.…

Why They Rejected The Best HR Candidate They’d Ever Interviewed -- The Shocking Truth Revealed!

I recently ran into Taylor at a national SHRM conference where he was one of the featured speakers.

We first met years ago when he was interviewing at our company for an HR executive job.

Seeing him again, we agreed to meet for coffee early the next morning to catch up.

As we sat down to enjoy our brews, I asked him why he decided not to join our company.

He revealed the REAL story -- something I'd never heard before.

It took place in 2006. He was interviewing with us for the HR job of his dreams. He was one of the two finalists. It was a job he wanted desperately to land.

This was the third (and hopefully, last) round of interviews. He’d already talked to twenty people including most of the key HR staff. On this day, he is to see the Division President and members of his senior executive team.

And he is also there to see Wade.

Wade heads up Human Resources for the international group and is about to retire.

Wade has been with the company for thirty-two years and he’s the last name on the interview list.

As soon as Taylor arrives at Wade’s office and shakes his hand, he knows right away he’s not like the rest of the folks he’s interviewed with.

First of all, Wade is balding, has gray hair, is overweight and talks and moves rather slowly. Everyone else Taylor has seen so far are roughly in their late thirties to early forties, and are aggressive, quick-talking type A personalities.

Secondly, Wade appears to be about sixty old. The glasses he’s wearing are definitely not in style and his attire could use some updating.

Taylor thinks this is an absolute waste of time. I'm a superstar. This guy’s a joke. And he wonders: “Why the hell am I spending time with him?”

So at the end of the interview Wade asks him, “Do you have any questions?”

Taylor thinks this has been an easy interview. Wade asked him pretty basic questions and he crushed them with his brilliant and thorough answers.

He has no questions for Wade.

Taylor leaves the building knowing he has impressed the hell out of the other executive interviewers. He's proud of himself. He's managed these meetings well and he's excited. And, he’s absolutely convinced, without a doubt, that he’ll be hired as the new VP of Human Resources for the Quaker Oats Foods group.

Three days later, he gets a call from Mary, the Chief HR Officer for the company. Mary is leading the search committee to fill the job Taylor is interviewing for.

As soon as he sees her name on his caller ID, he’s thinking, “This is it! This is the offer! Hot damn!”

When he picks up, Mary cuts right to the chase and says, “We’d like you to come in again.”

Confused and disappointed, Taylor, replies: “Mary, you want me to come in for a fourth time…”

“We need to talk.”

He comes in. She says, “Taylor, we’re very, very impressed with you. You frankly blew us away. The President liked you, the senior leadership team liked you, and so have the hundreds of other people we’ve had you meet. I know this has been a long interview process, so thank you for your patience.”

She went on, “In fact, we all agree that with your experience and all your accomplishments…

You’re probably the best HR candidate we’ve ever seen!”

Then Mary took…a…long…pause…and…uttered: “But we have some major concerns."

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“About what?”

“About your interview with Wade.”

“Wade? You mean the Wade who’s about to retire?”

Said Mary: “Yep, same guy. You didn’t have any questions. You were super-aggressive with everyone else with your questions. But Wade asked you a number of times if you had any questions, and you said no. And I think he said finally, ‘So you have no questions for me?’ and you shook your head and then looked at your watch as if you couldn’t wait for the interview to end.”

“Let me tell you a few things about Wade. He’s a nice guy. And until he retires and we find his replacement, he still heads up HR for our International group, which is the single largest division in this company. Yes, he’s slowed down a lot. Someday you will, and someday I will too.”

“Wade at one time was our best HR executive. Bright. Sharp. Aggressive. That is, until his heart attack. Years ago, he launched the first ever Leadership Institute at this company that the executives still rave about. He drove the first initiatives to improve the representation of women in executive positions. And today, he serves as a wise, trusted advisor to many of the executives on the President’s team and to the union leaders at our factory locations.”

“We’ll all miss him when he leaves the company next month. And believe it or not, ten years ago, he held the exact same job you’re interviewing for, which is why he was on your interview schedule.”

“And Taylor, let me tell you one other thing…

“Wade hired me!”

“So, if Wade isn’t as sharp as he used to be, he’s still a lovely person, and a good human being. He done well with our organization and the knowledge he has about this place is priceless. Everyone loves and respects him.”

“We’re not sure what all this says about you and your character or why you choose to treat him the way you did. But whatever your reason was, it was wrong.”

“Our senior leadership team is concerned that in this job you’ll be dealing with and negotiating with a number of powerful and influential union leaders who have been with us for over 30 years. Many are nearing retirement just like Wade. While we have our battles and disagreements with the union, we always treat their leaders and our senior employees with the utmost respect. We are worried that if you can’t be respectful of Wade, an executive who has forged a terrific legacy with our company, we don’t know how you’ll relate to others who may not be as quick or brilliant as you are.”

“Taylor, you are an outstanding candidate and I could have called you and told you all this by phone. But you’ve invested lots of time going through our interview process. So we owe you the truth. And I somehow thought you deserved to hear it in person.”

And the truth is this…

“We will NOT be offering you the job. I’m sorry.”

Taylor sat stunned and speechless.

He felt his whole world crashing down on his head. Mary had just put up a mirror and let him see vividly what a total jerk he had been. No one had ever took him apart like that before. Ever. Wade was a nice person – not sharp as he used to be, not as cool as he used to be, not young, not energetic – but a nice man, and a very accomplished leader worthy of respect.

Someone he treated shamefully.

And it cost Taylor a terrific job that he wanted.

He tried to rationalize his behavior to Mary and begged for another chance. She indicated that the decision was final and it was too late. They had offered the job to another candidate, who accepted it the previous day.

End of story.

To say I was shocked at hearing all this would be an understatement. And, I'm sure it showed on my face. I thanked him for sharing this with me and being so upfront and brutally candid. Taylor took one last sip of his coffee, looked up at me, nodded and just smiled. While painful at the time, I could tell after all these years he had finally come to terms with this experience.

He told me that this was a lesson that forever changed him as an HR leader and it’s one he often shares when he’s mentoring up and coming managers.

Simply put, what he learned was this:

"You cannot judge a book by its cover. Some people may notappear as competent, or as smart, or as gifted as you are(or you think you are). But they, like everyone else,deserve to be treated with dignity and respect."

Frankly, there’s nothing new about this message. But what makes it meaningful and powerful for Taylor is that he has the personal experience that goes with it...and that's what makes it makes it real for him.

Today, he is the top HR executive of a well-known computer security company and reports to the CEO.

By all accounts, he’s hugely successful and highly respected.

It’s been years since his episode with Wade happened.

But it’s a painful lesson that changed him forever.

And it's a lesson he’s never forgotten.

मैत्र! एक गोंडस नाव, एका नात्याचं. रम्य बालपणात; त्या वेड्या भिरभिरणाऱ्या वयात हे मैत्र किती तऱ्हांनी बागडत असतं आपल्याबरोबर, नाही? या मैत्रीला कुठे बांधून धरून ठेवावं कळतच नाही तेव्हा. समुद्रकाठच्या वाळूसारखी सटकून जाते ती पायाखालून. मग वाळू सोडून नावेत बसतो आपण; लाटांवर स्वार होण्यासाठी, एकटेच. पण कसा कुणास ठाऊक, आहे आहे म्हणेपर्यंत रस्ता चुकतो आपला. कायमची चुकामूक. मग आपापल्या वाटेवरून चालत राहायचं, एवढंच उरतं आपल्या हातात. पण त्या मैत्रीला सुरक्षित जपून ठेवायचं काम चोख बजावतं आपलं मन.....

पावसाळा.....काहीतरी वेगळ नात आहे याच्याशी.....आता बघा ना अख्खी 2 वर्षा गेली मधे मी पण इथेच, ब्लॉग पण तिथेच पण कधी वाटलच नाही काही लिहावा, काही शेर करावा..आणि आज अनाहूत पणे घरच्या मागे उगवलेली 2 लिली ची फुला दिसली आणिअचानक आठवण झाली...Kaleidoscope ची, मागच्या दरवल या पोस्ट ची......त्यावेळी मातीच्या दरवळाने धुंद होऊन गेलेले यावेळी 2 लिली च्या फुलानी परत जाग केला....

कसा चमत्करी आहे नई पाउस.....त्याचा स्पर्शाने त्याच्या नुसत्या येण्याने काहीतरी उमलतच...मातीतून रोपट, मोरची सुरेल तान आणि स्रुजनचा मनात विचारांच रान.....पावासासोबत स्वतःला मुक्त करण्याची धडपड सगळ्यांमधे जाणवते, दिसते.....आणि 2 क्यूट लिली च्या रूपात ती व्यक्त पण होते......

खूप दिवस आपण वाट बघत असतो...हुलकावण्या देतो आपल्याला , खेळतो, चिडवतो अगदी अंत पाहतो, आणि आपण जेंव्हा वाट बघण सोडून देतो, तेंव्हा अचानक अगदी अवचित पणे येतो आणि चिंब चिंब करून सोडतो...त्याचा आणि जमिनीच काय इतका हितगुज सुरू असता....

तो अखंड बरसात असतो,आंग घुसळतो,केसंशी खेळतो, उगाच छेडतो, भिजवतो, लाडात येतो, आणि ती....ती फक्त मुग्धा पणे ऐकत असते....त्याच्या खोड्यांमधे त्याला साथ देत असते....शांत पणे त्याला सामावून घेत असते.....आणि तृप्त होत असते....
तिची शांतता, तृप्ताता आणि समाधान आपल्यालाही जाणवत, अनुभवता येता जेंव्हा 2 लिली ची फुला पाहून आपल्याला उगाच हसायला येता, खूप क्यूट वाटत.....

दरवळ.....

आजचा दिवस संपता संपता काही वेगळेच रंग उधळून गेला......रंग वेगळे...हवा वेगळी...आजूबाजूचा वातावरण ते देखील वेगळं....सगळच कसा धुंद......भरलेला....दिवसाची मरगळ, चिकचिक वाऱ्याने कुठच्या कुठे उडवून लावली.... खिडकीतून येणारा वारा अंगावर घेत असतानाच....जमिनीवर थेंबांचा कोलाज सुरु झाला.....आणि काही क्षणातच अवघा रंग एकाची झाला......स्वतःचा अस्तित्व घेऊन पडलेल्या पावसाच्या प्रत्येक थेंबाला जमिनीने मात्र न्याय दिला.....प्रत्येक थेंब अंगावर झेलत नुसती मोहरून निघाली....
निसर्ग इतकी सगळी उधळण करत असताना...घरात बसून राहणं शक्यच न्हवता....तडक उठले....ती दिरेच्त घराबाहेरच.....मनसोक्त पाऊस अंगावर घेत...झाडांशी गप्पा मारत...पाण्यात खेळत बागडत....१/२ तासाने घरी आले तरी बाहेर निसर्गाची उधळण चालूच होती....स्वछंदी मुक्त हस्ते..... कॉम्पुटर वर जुन्या गाण्यांच्या ओळी आणि वातावरणात मृदगंध दरवळत राहिला......

रक्ताच्या नात्यात नसेल एवढी मैत्रीच्या नात्यात ओढ असते
कशीही असली तरी शेवटी मैत्री गोड असते.

मैत्री म्हणजे त्याग आहे मैत्री म्हणजे विश्वास आहे
हवा फक्त नावापुरती तर मैत्री खरा श्वास आहे

मैत्रीच्या या नात्या बद्दल लिहिण्यासारखे खूप आहे
खरे नात्याला नसले तरी मैत्रिला एक रूप आहे

मैत्रिला कधी गंध नसतो मैत्रीचा फक्त छंद असतो
मैत्री सर्वानी करावी त्यात खरा आनंद असतो.

काल म्हटल्याप्रमाणे दिवसाची सुरवात अगदी मनासारखी झाली....चहाचा कप आणि मातीचा सुगंध...वाह वाह......एका छोट्याश्या प्लास्टिक च्या पिशवीत उगवलेली ती छोटी छोटी झाड....जेमतेम फुटभर असतील तरी त्याला कितीतरी फुल येतात..केवढी छान दिसतात इतकी छोटी झाड फुलांनी भरलेला....झाड घेत होते तेंव्हा त्याला विचारलेला कि काय रे याला फुला साधारण कधी येतात?? काय सिझन आहे फुलांचा???? मला उत्तर मिळाला ताई अहो आजकाल नेहेमीच येतात फुला हायब्रीड केली आहेत ना... नेहेमीच असतात फुला.....कोणताबी झाड उचला...फुला येतील नेहेमी की काळजी नका करू...हा फक्त चांगली आणि भरपूर फुला यायला त्यांना मधून मधून ओर्गानिक टाका म्हणजे मग बघा झाड कसा लयी बेस फुला देतय......मग काय आमची स्वारी खुश...घेऊन आलो..घरी या मोठ्या (???) झाडांचा आगमन झालं.....

आपण पण असेच असतो ना..छोट्याश्या घरात सुरक्षित वातावरणात लिमिटेड मातीत उगवतो...निपजतो...बहरतो(?????) लहान वयात मोठ्या मोठ्या गोष्टी मिळवतो....वयाने लहान पण कितीतरी कमावतो.....एका छोट्याश्या पिशवीत जगतो....त्यात असणाऱ्या मातीतून च फुला येतात...कमी फुला येतात वाटला कि घातला ओर्गानिक...मग काय फुलच फुला.....हे म्हणजे अकाली प्रौढत्व आल्यासारखा नाही वाटत...मुळात त्याला झाड म्हणायचं का हाही एक प्रश्न असतो...झाड म्हणण्यासाठी त्याची ना उंची असते ना विस्तार असतो...पण रोपटं म्हणाव तर भरघोस फुला येत असतात...काय म्हणायचं काय??? च्यायला झाडांमध्ये पण identity crisis ?? झाडाचा बहार हा त्याला मिळणारा हवामान, माती, पाणी या सगळ्यावर अवलंबून असतो ...पण इथे सगळाच मामला प्रोटेक्टेड आणि लिमिटेड....सगळा आखून दिलेला.....लिमिटेड माती, लिमिटेड जागा, वाढ चांगली व्हावी म्हणून कापल्यामुळे लिमिटेड उंची, सगळा कसा आखीव रेखीव...कुठेच स्वतःच वाढणं नाही....जगायला लागणारं सगळच कोणीतरी दुसरा पुरवतोय...घेतोय काळजी...त्या बदल्यात आपण फक्त फुला द्यायची बस...इतकच....मनाप्रमाणे वागायची सवलत नाही...फुला नाही आली तर काही दिवसात झाड बदली तरी होणार, कोणाला देऊन तरी टाकणार किंवा मग कोणी काळजी घेणार नाही.....

या सगळ्यात त्या छोट्या झाडाला कधी कळतच नाही कि मोठा होणं म्हणजे फक्त फुला देणा नाही..तर मोठा होणं म्हणजे जमिनीत रुजणं....असेल तश्या जमिनीतून वर येणं... खोलवर आपली मूळ रोवून घट्ट उभा राहणं .....आणि मग पूर्ण वाढ झाल्यावर फुलायला सुरवात होणं, बहरू लागणं.....जोपर्यंत स्वतःला स्वतःचा जीव जागवता येत नाही तोपर्यंत फुला येतच नाहीत...हा साधा निसर्ग नियम नाही काळात त्या छोट्याश्या झाडाला...कारण कधी ते तसा जगलच नाही....
आपला पण होता असाच....आजकाल मोठ्या मोठ्या पोस्ट्स वर भराभर वर जाणारी आमची पिढी, ८-१० लाख अगदी एका वर्षात कमावणारे आम्ही.....या छोट्या झाडां सारखेच आहोत....सगळ्या लिमिटेड आणि आखीव गोष्टी मिळाल्या...मग लागलो अकाली फुलायला....पण जेव्हा परिस्थीची झळ बसते तेंवा कळून येत कि आपली मुळ मजबूत नाही आहेत...पिशवीच्या पलीकडे खूप गोष्टी आहेत...प्रत्येक वेळी कोणी ओर्गानिक देईल च असा नाहीये..आणि जास्त ओर्गानिक पण आपल्यासाठी चांगला नाही कारण....त्यामुळे आपल्या capacity च्या बाहेर आपल्याला काहीच करता येत नाही...ओर्गानिक फक्त असलेली गोष्ट वाढवू शकत...काही नवीन निर्माण नाही करू शकत...पण आम्हाला कळलच नाही कि आमची capacity काय आहे...कारण आम्ही ते समजायच्या आत च फुलायला पण लागलेलो....

शाळा-कॉलेज-पोस्ट ग्रॅज्युएशन आणि करियर साठी नोकरी.........सगळ्यांच जे रुटिन तसच माझाही...सकाळची ट्रेन.....गर्दी, धडपड, लोकांची नाटका आणि नखारे...काही म्हणा वेस्टेन च्या लोकांमधे आटिट्यूड जरा जास्तच असतो... त्यातून फर्स्ट क्लास म्हणजे तर.....बाप रे....जणू काही सगळ्यांचा माहेर लंडन आणि सासर पॅरिस असल्यासारखा ईंग्लिश....आणि आपण म्हणजे काचेची बहुली आणि आजूबाजूच्या लोकना आपल्याला धक्का देण्यासाठीच या लोकल मधे पाठवला आहे असा आविर्भाव......जरा धक्का लागला की oppps.....can't you see?? GOD knows from where these people are coming... अशी टिप्पणी सुरू होते......
गेले काही दिवस या सगळ्यातून सुटका झाल्याचा सुख काही खास वाटून जाता...आहाआ सकाळी उठायचा.....छान जिम ला जाऊन यायचा...गरम गरम चहा आणि सुब्ब्लक्शमि ची कॅसेट...वा वा.....दिवसाची सुरवात एकदम सुंदर होऊन जाते.....कोणाची साडी पायात अडकायला नको...कोणाची बॅग नकवर आदलायला नको... :-) सुख सुख म्हणतात ते हेच......

या सरळ सोट (????) 2.5 वर्षयांच्या काळात किती काय काय मिस केला हे.....घरी बसल्यावर जाणवला.....किती दिवसात उगाचच कारण नसताना नुसतच भटकलो नाहीत.....खिशात फक्त 50 च रुपये घेऊन जीवाची मुंबई केली नई.....शॉपिंग मॉल च्या गर्दीत भुट्टा खात कधी कट्ट्यावर बसलो नाही.....नदीत डुंबलो नाही....झाडावर चढलो नाही..मातीत खेळलो नाही......म्हणजे काहीच केला नाही......सगळ्याच गोष्टी हरवल्या की.....अख्खा दिवस कसा संपतो हेच काळात नव्हत....या सगळ्या गोष्टी करण्यात संपणारा दिवस आता ते काहीच न करता संपातोय.....असा काय ते...काहीतरी चुकतय.....इतकाच फक्त काळात होता..कुठे काय कसा लक्षात नव्हत येत......पण आता सगळाच कळलाय.....आणि म्हणून या सगळ्या गोष्टी जमतील तश्या आणि जमतील तेवढ्या करण्याचा प्रयस सुरू केला

आता वर लिहिलेल्या सगळ्याच गोष्टी करून झाल्या असा नाहीत...पण एक नक्की केली....मातीत खेळण....
खूप दिवसात झाडांकडे बघायला जमला नव्हता.....परवा सहज चक्कर मारताना मूड आला झाड घेऊन जाण्याचा...."हे कुठला झाड आहे रे??....साधारण कधी फुला येतात याची?? किती काळ बहर टिकेल?? किती पाणी घालायचा??" हे असले सगळे संवाद गेले काही दिवस चालू आहेत.....आता मुंबई मधे गार्डेनिंग वगैरे करायला बाबा आम्ही काय गरवारे, शर्मा, पटेल बितेल नाही हो... सरड्याची धाव कुंपणापर्यंत तसच जोश्यांच गार्डेनिंग 700 स्क्वे. फूट फ्लॅट च्या गॅलरी पर्यंत.... :-) तरी पण
म्हटला चला "सामाजिक वनीकरण" करूया....आणि चक्क 200 रुपयाची फक्त झाडा च घेऊन आले एकदम8-10 नवीन मेम्बर्स आले आमच्या घरी......किती तरी नवी झाड पहिल्यांदाच पहिली.....किती तरी वेळ त्या झाडं मधे होते...हे घेऊ की ते घेऊ ? कोणता छान दिसेल? कुठे लावता येईल......आणि गेले कित्येक दिवस माज़यच घराकडे कधी नीट आपण पहिलाच नाही याची जाणीव झाली.....मी नव्याने घर बघायला लागले...मस्त नवीन 8-10 झाड घेऊन झाल्यावर बिचारा दुकानदार च म्हणाला...मॅडम बाकीची नंतर घेऊन जा....अजुन व्हरायटी येईल बघा......
घरी आल्यावर ती झाडा लावण्यासाठी म्हणून कुंदीत माती टाकली पाणी घातला आणि अहाआ......मातीचा जो काही सुंदर वास आला....किती तरी वेळ त्या मातीत च खेळात बसले.......वा....आजचा दिवस परत वसूल झाला.... :-)
आमचा दुकानदार म्हणाला तसा....मॅडम घरच्याना सांगा ग्लोबल वाओर्मिन्ग विरुध तुम्ही एकदम मोहिम उघडली आहे.....
त्या ग्लोबल वाओर्मिन्ग ला काही ज़ला असेल नसेल.....माझ्या डोक्यात उठलेल्या तपासाठी ती झाड म्हणजे एकदम रामबाण उपाय ठरली आहेत हे नक्की.......
आता रोज सकाळी सकाळी उठायचा.....मग जिम....सुब्ब्लक्शमि ची कॅसेट... ऐकत झाडांना पाणी घालायचा आणि मातीचा सुगंध घेत घेत गरम गरम चहा वा वा.....दिवस खूप सुंदर आहे.....

It’s another morning..
….. Again I have to go to office.

Ohh, this is me… I shouted having a glance on my snap in today’s news paper.

But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??

Strange…

One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don’t remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.

Its morning now, ohh….. It’s already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?

I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.

Where is everyone…??? I screamed.

“I think there is a crowed outside my room, let me check.” I said to myself.

So many people….. Not all of them crying…

But why some of them crying…

WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor…

“I AM HERE” … I shouted!!! No one listen.

“LOOK I AM NOT DEAD” … I screamed once again!!! No one is interested in me.

They all were looking me on the bed.

I went back to my bed room.

“Am I dead??” I asked myself.

Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends?

I found them in the next room, all of them were crying… still trying to console each other.

My wife was crying… she was really looking sad.

My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.

How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??

How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??

How can I go without saying my parents that I m … just because of u ??

How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I have done most of the wrong things in my life… thanks for being there always when I need them… and sorry for not being there when they really need me..

I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears…

Ohh… he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.

I went there.. And offered him my hand, “Dear friend… I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me.”

No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry… even then!!!

I really don’t care for such people.

But one sec…. it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand.

My goodness… AM I REALLY DEAD???

I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying…

“OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS…”

I just wasn’t to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.

My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.

“YOU R BEAUTIFUL” I shouted.

She didn’t hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.

“GOD!!!!” I screamed… a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

I cried…

One more chance please… to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life….

Then I looked up and cried!!!!

I shouted….

“GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!”
"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"

I was sleeping….

Ohh that was just a dream….

My wife was there… she can hear me…

This is the happiest moment of my life…

I hugged her and whispered…. “U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE…. I REALLY LOVE U DEAR”

I can’t understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy….

“THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND? CHANCE.”

Women. What an extraordinary group of people! We are so good at so many things. If you want to get something done, have a woman do it. We love a challenge. Incidently, my mail box got this mail...nd i was just amazed and astonished....now you will feel whts so gr8 in this mail..its a typical phiolosophical, self help category mail....bt the thing which surprised me is last sunday i attended a workshop called ' Secret beyond the secret' by Dr. Pradeep Pawar.
The workshop was on similar lines....the most important thing which had been disscussed and implemented was 'EFT i.e Emotional Freedom Technique'
we all know that our thoughts and mind has immense power, we have heard whatever you think you are right etc etc. these statements sound good to hear but people like me who are left brain dominant ask for scientific proofs. In this workshop. i got to see that, and i started believing the same. but it doesnot mean that, each and every thought of us is being implemented and transmitted to the universe. the thoughts which we pay attention and back them up with emotional, only those thoughts are being spread in the field.

EFT is based on the electrical systems in our body called the meridians. It is an emotional version of acupuncture except that needles are not used, where the release points are stimulated by tapping with the fingertips. We can think of the meridians like rivers along which the electricity in our body flows. Hana's Suitcase: A true story

कोणत्या तरी मराठी वाहिनी वर मृत्युंजय सुरू होणार याची जाहिरात पहिली....आणि मन खूप वर्ष मागे गेल.....
मृत्युंजय या कादांबरीने माझी वाचनाची आवड च बदलून टाकली....खरा म्हणजे ही कादांबरी हातात घेतली ते फक्त सगलयानी सांगितला की खूप छान आहे वाचली पाहिजे म्हणून.....महाभारत किंवा कर्ण याबद्दल विशेष काही जाणून घ्यावा असा कधी वाटला नाही
पण मृत्युंजय हातात घेतला आणि मी कर्णाच्या प्रेमात च पडले........अख्ख्या महाभारतात जर कोणता पात्र मनापासून आवडल असेल आणि पटल असेल तर ते कर्ण आहे.....

मध्यंतरी व.पु.काळे यांच 'आपण सारे अर्जुन' वाचनात आल......त्यामधे त्यानी अतिशय उत्तम रित्या दाखवून दिला आहे की हे जीवन कसा कुरुक्षेत्र आहे आणि आपण कसे अर्जुना सारखे हतबल असतो....
पण ते वाचताना सुद्धा मला एक गोष्ट सारखी जाणवत होती आणि ती म्हणजे आपण सारे कर्ण जास्त असतो.....
एक मानस शास्त्रज्ञ म्हणून काम करताना आणि आजच्या तरुण पिढी सोबत वावरताना मला सगळे अर्जुन कमी आणि कर्ण जास्त वाटतात...

त्यातलाच एक हे विचारांच चित्रण.....मी एका मुलाला मृत्युंजय कस वाटला हे विचारात होते....त्याला सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न करत होते की कर्ण कसा कठीण आयुष्या जगला वगैरे.....
आजची मुल कसा आणि किती खोल विचार करतात याचा हे चित्रण......त्यांच्या मनात किती खळबळ असते त्याचा हा नमूना

तीच कथा नोकरी मधे...आंगच्या गुणानपेक्षा कोण साहेबा च्या मर्जितला त्याला जास्त संधी.......जसा अर्जुनाला श्री कृष्ण........

मग आम्ही फ्रास्ट्रेट नाही होणार? का नाही कोणत्या दुर्योधनाची साथ देण्याचा विचार करणार......दुसर्या कोणाच्या स्वार्ता साठी का होईना आम्हाला जर आमचे गुण दाखवण्याची संधी मिळाली तर का नाही आम्ही ती घ्यायची...

आजच्या आम्हा तरुणांमधे आणि कर्ण यात आजुन एक साम्य म्हणजे आमची कामाला वाहून घेण्याची वृत्ती, एखादी गोष्ट मिळवण्याचा ध्यास आणि त्यासाठी कितीही कष्ट करण्याची तयारी......कर्ण परशूरामकडे शिकला.....एक चुक आणि त्याला शाप मिळला.....
तसाच काहीसा होता आमच पण.....सगळ नीट असत एक च चुक होते आणि होत्याच न्हव्ता होऊन बसता......

For years, when people talked about leadership style, they talked in terms of two extremes – an autocratic (directive) and a democratic (supportive) style. Autocratic leaders used position power and their authority to get results while democratic leaders used personal resources (power) and involved others in participative problem-solving and decision-making.

But then onwards the mode of business, culture exchange, communication, and development changed the corporate world. The modern business is delivering time and mission critical solution in faster pace. People from different background, culture & nature are engaged together in a single platform of solution. The rate of risks, criticalities are higher, which require a change in the style of handling the situation, adopt change and satisfy the need from parent organization to client organization. Also, experience and further research, however, showed that leadership style tend to vary considerably from situation to situation.
And, that’s where leadership style, and leadership model that presumes that different leadership styles are better in different situations, and that leaders must be flexible enough to adapt their style to the situation they are in. it can be said that it is the relationship between a leader's style and his or her environment to influence the performance of subordinates and empower team with energy and positive mindset.

George Bernard Shaw said, "People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them."
Well, it's pretty apparent, isn't it? And every person who discovered this believed (for a while) that he was the first one to work it out. We become what we think about.
Conversely, the person who has no goal, who doesn't know where he's going, and whose thoughts must therefore be thoughts of confusion, anxiety and worry - his life becomes one of frustration, fear, anxiety and worry. And if he thinks about nothing... he becomes nothing.
How does it work? Why do we become what we think about? Well, I'll tell you how it works, as far as we know. To do this, I want to tell you about a situation that parallels the human mind.
Suppose a farmer has some land, and it's good, fertile land. The land gives the farmer a choice; he may plant in that land whatever he chooses. The land doesn't care. It's up to the farmer to make the decision.
We're comparing the human mind with the land because the mind, like the land, doesn't care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant, but it doesn't care what you plant.
Now, let's say that the farmer has two seeds in his hand- one is a seed of corn, the other is nightshade, a deadly poison. He digs two little holes in the earth and he plants both seeds-one corn, the other nightshade. He covers up the holes, waters and takes care of the land...and what will happen? Invariably, the land will return what was planted.

As it's written in the Bible, "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
Remember the land doesn't care. It will return poison in just as wonderful abundance as it will corn. So up come the two plants - one corn, one poison.
The human mind is far more fertile, far more incredible and mysterious than the land, but it works the same way. It doesn't care what we plant...success...or failure. A concrete, worthwhile goal...or confusion, misunderstanding, fear, anxiety and so on. But what we plant it must return to us.
You see, the human mind is the last great unexplored continent on earth. It contains riches beyond our wildest dreams. It will return anything we want to plant.

दिसामाजी लिहावे काही...या विचाराने केलेला हा लेखन प्रपंच....काहीतरी घडेल मग आपण लिहु...इतर ब्लॉग्स वाचल्यावर कळ्ल की कोणत्याही गोष्टीवर काहीही लिहिता येऊ शकता फक्त लिहिता यायला हॅव...व्यक्त होण आणि व्यक्त कारण महत्वाच.....आजचीच गोष्ट...मैत्रिणी ने ओफिस मधून रिझाइन केला.....आता यावर मला तरी काही फारसा लिहिता येत नाहीए....

फक्त एक हूरहूर की अरे काहीच दिवसनी ही आपल्यासोबत नसणार, बर्‍याच गोष्टी मिस करणार,गप्पा,खाण, गॉसिप :-) बराच काही....आम्ही सायकॉलॉजी ची उत्तर लिहिताना एक पेटट वाक्य लिहायचो...Man is a Social Animal.....त्यचीच आठवण झाली....एखाद्याची केवढी सवय होऊन जाते आपल्याला....आता काही दिवस तरी मॅडम असतील नंतर चा बघू.....आणि हो या गोष्टीवर मला इतकाच लिहिता येतय......नॉट बॅड...7 वाक्य....याची पण होईल सवय हळु हळु......:-)

some days bak....jus read this poem some days back......the moment it was read, the thought come to mind is this can be used for building POSITIVE ATTITUDE
every one has some unique thing hidden in him,what one needs is the realization of that unique thing.....the moment you realize it...you just transform...(I knw the typical trainer talk started)

but the thing which is still in mind is...what must be happencing to that swan till the time he realizes what he is.....what pain and grief he must going through....it becomes a vicious circle...no confidence-no courage to justify onself-no respect and again leading to no confidence. it is a very symbolical to our whole life cycle.....there are many people amongst us who don't belong to that perticualr SCHOLAR category during their school or college days.....during tht period some suffer the way this swan suffered.....TYPICAL DUMB category....it is so very hurting situation..that otherrs are making fun of you jus because you dunt know what they know....you are not smart as they are....during this period what one will do? what and how he will say anything to others.....but the moment they get their own field...they start shining and there nobody can hold them back....but this happens only to those who realize their UNIQUE thing.....

what must be leading to reach tht point?? how the realization takes place? which is tht moment tht clicks and transforms the individual?????
