Dhakeshwari National Temple (Dhakeshshori Jatio Mondir is situated southwest of the Salimullah Hall of Dhaka University. It's one of the oldest templein Dhaka cities (11thcentury) & famous Hindu temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The name "Dhakeshwari" (ঢাকেশ্বরী Ðhakeshshori) means "Goddess of Dhaka. Since the destruction of Ramna Kali Mandir in 1971 by the Pakistan Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War, the Dhakeshwari Temple has assumed status as the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh. The Dhakeshwari temple was built in the 12th century by Ballal Sen.

Lalbagh Fort (also known as "Fort Aurangabad") is situated of the river bank of Buriganga, in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It’s an incomplete Mughal palace. Construction was commenced in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam during his 15-month long vice-royalty of Bengal, but before the work could complete, he was recalled by Aurangzeb. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not complete the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688. His daughter Iran Dukht nicknamed Pari Bibi (Fairy Lady) died here in 1684 and this led him to consider the fort to be ominous. It is one of the most popular traveling areas of Bangladesh. Now the fort area is maintenance by the Archaeology Department of the Bangladesh government.

Ahsan Manzil (Bengali: আহসান মঞ্জিল) the wonderful building is found at Kumartoli beside the banks of the Buriganga River in Bangladesh, was the formal residential palace and seat of the Dhaka Nawab Family. This wonderful building is found at Kumartoli beside the banks of the Buriganga River in Bangladesh. The structure of this palace was started in the year 1859 and was finished in 1869. Created in the Indo-Saracenic Revitalization building. To reserve the traditional and history of the area, the palace became the Bangladesh National Museum on 20 September 1992. Every year thousands of visitors (Included foreigner) come here to see its beauts. It's one of the Bangladeshi incredible traveling places. It's bares the history of Nawab Family & remembering the Nawab Family.

Visiting Hours & Holidays:

Ahsan Manzil closed on Thursday, the museum is open from 10:30 to 17:30 on weekdays, and 15:00 to 19:30 on Friday during summer time (April – September). During winter (October – March), its open from 9:30 to 16:30 on weekdays and 15:00 to 19:30 on Friday. Go ahead and spend an hour or two at Ahsan Manzil and enjoy its beauty only in return of a 10 taka entry fee.

Bangladesh, (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ), formally the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (Bangla: গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ Gônoprojatontri Bangladesh) is a country in South Asia. It is bordered by India on all sides but for a small border with Burma (Myanmar) to the far southeast and by the Bay of Bengal to the south.

The borders of present-day Bangladesh were established with the partition of Bengal and India in 1947, when the region became East Pakistan, part of the newly formed nation of Pakistan. However, it was separated from the western wing by 1,600 km (994 mi) of Indian Territory. Due to political exclusion, ethnic and linguistic discrimination, and economic neglect by the politically-dominant West Pakistan, popular agitation grew against West Pakistan and led to the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, which the Bengali people won with the support of India.

Bangladesh is a parliamentary democracy, with an elected parliament called the ‘Jatiyo Sangshad.’ It is the ninth most populous country and among the most densely populated countries in the world.

Shalban vihara (Sanskrit; Bengali: সোমপুর বিহার Shalbon Bihar) in Moinamoti, Comilla, Bangladesh is one of the best known Buddhist viharas in the Indian Subcontinent and is one of the most important archeological sites in the country.

They are famous historical and archeological places around Comilla. These are a series of hillocks, where the Northern part is called Moinamoti and the Southern part is called Lalmai; and Shalbon Bihar is in the Middle of Lalmai and Moinamoti, which the was established in 8th century by King Buddadev. Salban Vihara, almost in the middle of the Mainarnati-Lalmai hill range consists of 115 cells, built around a spacious courtyard with cruciform temple in the centre facing its only gateway complex to the north resembling that of the Paharpur Monastery.

Bengali New Year or Poyela Boishakh (পহেলা বৈশাখ Pohela Boishakh or পয়লা বৈশাখ Poela Boishakh) is the first day of the Bengali calendar, famous in both Bangladesh and West Bengal, and in Bengali communities in Assam and Tripura. It coincides with the New Year's Days of many Southern Asian calendars.

Poila Boishakh attaches all ethnic Bengalis irrespective of religious and regional differences. In India, in West Bengal and Assam it is a public (state) holiday and is publicly celebrated in mid-April. In Bangladesh, it is a national holiday celebrated around 14 April according to the official edited calendar designed by the Bangla Academy.
