Card for my niece

I made this card for my niece this morning but im finding it lacking something...hmm ribbon maybe? Even us Stampin Up demonstrators get it wrong sometimes lol x

Busy day today supervising the baby chicks to the old gals...it's never easy! I
can hear a lot of clucking at the mo!!

Hi details below of my next class, this has been much requested after lots of oohing etc.

Dates for classes are wed 12th June and Fri 14th June both at 7.30 pm ( I can also do other dates/ times please just ask) this is an ideal beginner class.

Option 1
10 mini cards along with hand stamped envelopes, included is a pack of matching bakers twine, a pack of jewels or pearls and another 10 mini cards with envelopes. You will also have card left over from the class.
Cost £14

Option 2
The same as above but includes the stamp set
Cost £20

Option 3
As option 1 and 2 but also includes the ink pads
Cost £28

Option 4

Class only with no materials to take away
£12

Colours are calpso coral or primrose petals

A tiring weekend!

Hello there,

Well I survived the weekend at my first 'music festival' Bearded theory, ok I know it's only down the road and I could have come home if I'd of wanted too! But I did it and it was everything I expected it to be....freezing cold, wet and muddy and the toilets well hmm will not comment as you may be having your lunch!!

Back to warm comfy crafting! Today I am showing you a birthday gift I have made for a friends daughters 4th birthday along with matching card and bag. I really love these papers and will be very sad to see them go, get your orders in now if you can't live without them!!

A long time since I've blogged...sorry!!

Hello there,
As many of you know I have type one diabetes and wear an insulin pump, I also have bipolar disorder which can rule my life if I let it. Well after a spell ( 8 days in fact) in hospital I have now been diagnosed with M.E. I also had a nasty abcess on my neck so had a have intravenous antibiotics.

Anyway to aid my recovery I treated myself to Monica Gales PapeRieTreat held at Monk Fryston Hall, a 12th century Manor house about an hour away from where we live. I went with my friends and fellow demonstrators Helen, Alison and Judie. It was amazing I loved every single minute of it. The projects were amazing, below you will find some photos. We made lots more projects too and it was such fun, we also had a pyjama party!!!

I find I am always stuck for men's cards, so next month I am holding a class to make cards for men! Hmm a bit out of my comfort zone! These are 3 cards I have made using the sale-a-Bration set Feeling Sentimental.. The one on the right was made at my lovely up lines catalogue launch last weekend. It's obviously my favorite, so thanks Helen.

Party time!

Been busy today making party bags, thank you cards and sweetie holders for my daughter Niamh's birthday. She is going to be 9 this weekend! Although acts like she is 15! She has asked for make up for her birthday! Anyway this is what we made together...

Loving the pinwheels, however they are very fiddly. I found that using a cocktail stick helped to hold it together before you put the brad in.

Waiting for spring...

Oh fed up now with this weather! The snow around us in Derby is all slushy now and doesn't look so pretty. I've spent most of the afternoon crafting...although don't tell the hubby he thinks I've been cleaning and ironing!

I made this for our team meeting on Saturday, I still get really nervous doing demos and especially demo'ing to other demos although they are all very kind. That's the thing about Stamping Up I've made some fantastic friends. Oh the weather outside is awful..

Well exhausted from sledging I've lit a fire and am going to spend the rest of the day crafting...
This card has some of my favorite items from the new catalogue, and I just adore the bottle tops.

Creped filter paper flowers? Hmm not sure!

When I received this package I wasn't sure how to use it so I played about a bit by punching 8 circles with my circle punch then I stamped on it, then I folded it! It sort of works... Would like it look more like the one in the upcoming mini!!

Crafting with friends

Last Friday I spent the morning crafting, chatting and drinking tea with my lovely friend Kelly. We were able to use some of the new products which will be available in the spring/summer mini...40 pages of fantastic new products, so hardly a mini in my eyes. This time of year we as a family have a lot of thank you cards to send. This one I made today to send to fleurs teacher at school. They made pizzas on Friday and I completely forgot to send her ingredients with her! So I just wanted to say thank you.

I used paper from the new stack! And I made some rolled paper roses.

Sneak peak...it's almost SaleaBration time

It's almost that time of year...again!

A sneak peak here although the sentiment is from a set out of the main catalogue which I had overlooked until myself, my up line Helen and two friends got together today to do some stamping, chatting and eating cake! I have put this set on my next order, it's called Sweet Essentials and is a bargain at £13.95 in clear for 8 different sentiments.

New year, new me!

Well back to real life! Hubby goes back to work tomorrow and the girls have just a couple of days of the holidays left. I am trying to get my mojo back after a long time away from my desk...well it must at least be a week.

I have oodles of thank you cards to write but first a little romance...

I used one of the many free sets I received from convention...Affection Collection which is only available till the end of January so be quick! The love sentiment can easily be changed for friend.

Hello and happy new year to you all!

So sorry for a long absence but what with my handmade Christmas I have been busier than ever. I also had a major accident and took the tip of my finger off with my new rotary cutter...see photos on facebook lol. Amazingly it has healed really well although I have nerve damage and it's still very painful.
