संस्थाको बिबिध समस्याहरुलाइ एक ठाउमा राखेर, एन आर एन ए, एसको उदेस्यहरु , हामी किन र कसरि एस संस्थामा जोडिने भनेर विचारहरु राख्दछु।

बिदेशिएका नेपालीहरु अनुभवहरू जन्माउछन , यात्रामा रमाउछन, र शिप संगाल्छन ; एस्तो एउटा कथा, बिदेशिएका नेपालीहरुको सपना, संघर्ष र सफलताको कथा।

NRNA एक एस्तो प्लेटफर्म हो जसले विश्वभरि छरियर् रहेका नेपाली समुदायहरूलाई एक छाता संगठनमा ल्याउँदछ। यसको उद्देश्य भनेको विदेशमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपालिहरुबीच एकता, सहयोग र कल्याणलाई बढावा दिनु हो, र नेपालको विकासलाई पनि समर्थन गर्नु हो.

एन आर एन ए को उत्पत्ति बारे छलफल गरौं. यो कसरी अस्तित्वमा आयो, र यसको गठन कसरि भयो ?

विदेशमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपालीहरूको संख्या बढ्दै जाँदा एक सहयोगी संगठनको आवश्यकता छ भन्ने महसुस भयर तेस आकांक्षालाई सम्बोधन गर्न यस संस्थाको निर्माण गरियको हो विदेशमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपालीहरूको बीचमा उनीहरूलाइ मातृभूमिसँग जोड्न एनआरएनए २००३ मा स्थापित भएको थियो।

के हुन् NRNA को केहि प्रमुख उद्देश्यहरु ?

सर्वप्रथम, यसको उद्देश्य विदेश र मातृभूमिमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपालिहरु बीचको सम्बन्ध लाई सुदृढ पार्नु हो।

पहिलो, यसले विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक र शैक्षिक कार्यक्रमहरू गर्दछ।

दोस्रो, एनआरएनए सक्रिय रूपमा परोपकारी गतिविधिहरूमा संलग्न छ, प्रकोपमा राहत प्रयासहरू, स्वास्थ्य सेवाका पहलहरू, र नेपालमा शैक्षिक समर्थन गर्दछ

यसले विश्वभरि नेपाली प्रवासी समुदायहरूको अधिकार र कल्याणको लागि वकालत गर्न महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्छ.

एनआरएनएको उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि भनेको विभिन्न सरकारी निकायहरू बीचको पुलको रूपमा काम गर्ने, प्रभावकारी सहयोग र समन्वय सक्षम पार्दै थप रूपमा नेपालीहरु लाइ जोड्ने काम गर्द।

सामुदायिक संलग्नताको सर्तमा, एनआरएनएले कसरी विश्वव्यापी रूपमा नेपाली प्रवासी समुदायहरू बीच नेटवर्कि र सहकार्यलाई सहयोग पुर्‍याउँछ?

एनआरएनएले ८० भन्दा बढी देशहरूमा अध्यायहरू स्थापना गरेको छ, जसले नेटवर्किङ्ग , सामाजीकिकरण र ती क्षेत्रहरूमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपालीहरुको आवश्यकतालाई सम्बोधन गर्न स्थानीय प्लेटफर्मको रूपमा काम गर्दछ. यी अध्यायहरूले समुदाय एकता र सहकार्यलाई बढावा दिन सेमिनारहरू र सम्मेलनहरू आयोजना गर्दछन्. एनआरएनएले द्विवार्षिक ग्लोबल सम्मेलन पनि आयोजना गर्दछ, जहाँ विभिन्न अध्यायका प्रतिनिधिहरू चुनौतिहरूको बारेमा छलफल गर्न, उत्तम अभ्यासहरू साझा गर्न, र भविष्यका लागि रणनीति बनाउन भेला हुन्छन्.

NRNA को प्रयास मार्फत नेपाली प्रवासीको एकता र शक्ति देख्न यो अविश्वसनीय छ. अगाडि NRNA को भविष्यका आकांक्षाहरू के हुन्?

NRNA भविष्यको लागि गतिशील दर्शन छ. यसको उद्देश्य विश्वव्यापी नेपालिहरुको सक्रिय सहभागितालाई प्रोत्साहित गर्दै यसको विश्वव्यापी नेटवर्क विस्तार गर्न जारी राख्नु हो. संगठन नेपालको विकास परियोजनाहरुलाई सहयोग पुर्‍याउन र प्रवासी र सरकार बीचको सहयोग बढाउन पनि प्रतिबद्ध छ.

यसबाहेक, एनआरएनएले कसरी सांस्कृतिक संरक्षण बढाउन र प्रवासी समुदायहरूमा नेपाली पहिचान प्रवर्द्धनमा आफ्नो भूमिकाको कल्पना गर्दछ?

सबैलाई सामाजिक मिडिया च्यानलहरू, न्यूजलेटरहरू, र वेबसाइट अपडेटहरू मार्फत NRNA सँग सम्पर्कमा रहन प्रोत्साहित गर्दछु. तिनीहरू नियमित रूपमा आगामी परियोजनाहरू, घटनाहरू, र संलग्नताका लागि अवसरहरूको बारेमा जानकारी साझा गर्छन्. यो जानकारी रहन र विश्वव्यापी NRNA र नेपाली डायस्पोरा द्वारा भइरहेको अविश्वसनीय कार्यको एक हिस्सा हुन एक उत्तम तरिका हो.

नेपाली प्रवासीको सीप र स्रोतहरू उनीहरूको देशको विकासको लागि उपयोग गर्न आवश्यक छ. कुनै पनि व्यक्तिगत अनुभव वा उपाख्यानहरू साझेदारी गर्न एनआरएनएले नेपाली डायस्पोरा भित्र व्यक्तिको जीवनलाई कसरी असर गरेको छ?

मैले व्यक्तिगत रूपमा व्यक्तिहरूको असंख्य कथाहरू देखेको छु जसको जीवन NRNA सँग उनीहरूको संलग्नतामा परिवर्तन भएको छ. उदाहरण को लागी, म युवा नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरु लाई चिन्छु जसले NRNA बाट छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त गरे र उच्च शिक्षा हासिल गर्न र आफ्नो सपना पूरा गर्न सक्षम थिए. मैले एनआरएनए नेटवर्कहरू मार्फत व्यवसाय साझेदारहरू र सल्लाहकारहरू फेला पार्ने उद्यमीहरू पनि देखेको छु, जसले उनीहरूको उद्यमहरूको सफल स्थापनाको लागि अग्रसर गर्दछ. एनआरएनएको समर्थन र मार्गदर्शनले व्यक्तिलाई सशक्त बनाउन र उनीहरूको सम्बन्धित क्षेत्रमा फस्टाउन सक्षम पार्न महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेलेको छ.ती शक्तिशाली उदाहरणहरू हुन् कि कसरी NRNA ले व्यक्तिको जीवनमा ठोस भिन्नता ल्याइरहेको छ. महिला सशक्तिकरणको लागि संस्थाले गर्ने कार्यकर्मले नेत्रित्योमा फड्को मारेको छ।

एन आर एन ए को मुख्य सन्देश के होला ?

म जोड दिन चाहन्छु कि NRNA सामूहिक प्रयास हो. यो नेपाली प्रवासी सदस्यहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता र संलग्नतामा फस्टाउँछ. म श्रोताहरूलाई एनआरएनएको पहल अन्वेषण गर्न, उनीहरूको कार्यक्रमहरूमा उपस्थित हुन, र सीप र विचारहरू योगदान गर्न प्रोत्साहित गर्दछु. सँगै, हामी प्रवासी र नेपाल बीचको सम्बन्धलाई सुदृढ पार्न, हाम्रो समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक सम्पदाको संरक्षण र हाम्रो मातृभूमिको विकासलाई समर्थन गर्नुहुन अनुरोध पनि गर्दछु.

गैर-आवासीय नेपाली संघको उल्लेखनीय कार्यको लागि धन्यबाद सबैलाई !!! एन आर एन एका कथाहरु साँच्चै प्रेरणादायक छन्. र "पहिचान अंगाल्दै" को यस एपिसोडमा ट्युन गर्नु भयकोमा हाम्रा श्रोताहरूलाई धन्यवाद.

गीक नेपालको यस "नेपाली पडक्यास्ट"

युट्युब च्यानलमा यहाँहरुलाई हार्दिक स्वागत गर्न चाहन्छु.

म शुभाष अर्याल, करिब १२ वर्ष जिबनको उर्जाशील समय बिदेसमा बिति सक्यो, अझै पनि नेपाल फर्किने टुंगो छैन

त्यस कारण पनि मैले “विदेशिएका नेपालीहरूको सपना, संघर्ष र सफलताका कथा” लिएर आयको छु,

Average and Conversion Conversion

Today, I will be working on co-ordinate conversion instructions.

Coordinate Conversion Instructions are used to convert one data point to another value

using a linear relationship between x and y value data points.

XYFS instruction is used for setting the format of x and y values.

CVXTY instruction is used to convert the x value to the corresponding y value.

CVYTX instruction is used to convert the y value to the corresponding x value.

Let's begin by implementing the XY Format Set (XYFS) instruction.

Integer and word are the valid data types while using XYFS instruction.

when the input, output, and memory internal relay are used, 16 points are used.

While Timer, Counter, and Data Register are used, 1 point is used.

The current value of time and count TC and CC are displayed when using a word.

It cannot be used in interrupt programs.

S1 is a source one, The function of the S1 is format number.

It should be a constant value ranging from 0 to 7. The maximum number of formats would be 8.

x and y values can go up to 32 points. x0 to x32 or y0 to y32.

n would be 0...31

The x value of a word or integer ranges from 0 to 65,535

The y value of integer ranges from -32, 768-32,767

When the input is on, In the example, when the device is in operation mode,

The format for xy conversion is a set that defines the linear relationship between X and Y.

Once the format is set, one can convert from x to y and y to x.

In the example, I have used 3 set points.

On to the next instruction CVXTY, when the input is on, the value in Data register D001 (that is source 2 ) is converted to Data register D0002( that is destination register D1)

Don't get confused with Data Register and destination register.

We will also be looking into (AVRG) Average instruction.

It is mainly used for averaging analog signals (temperature, speed that varies), which are increasing or decreasing.

S1 is a source 1 that could be any sampling data from I, Q, M, R, T, C, D

S2 is a source 2 that could be sampling end input I, Q, M, R

S3 is scan times (sampling cycles) I, Q, M, R, T, C, and D that could range from 0- 65,535

D1 is a Destination 1, device address to store data. The data will be stored in the data register.

D2 is a destination 2, sampling completion output Q, M

If timer and counter are to be used, use S1 and S3 only. CT or CC will be displayed.

If float data is used, use S1 and D1 only.

When the input is on, the average instruction gets executed.

based on the scan time value of s3, the value of s1 is processed in each cycle.

if s3 = 0 then the average instruction turns on/off based on input.

Welcome to YouTube Channel "Geek Nepal," My name is Shuvash Aryal, and I have been learning and implementing various instructions in idec plc for a couple of months now.

Today we will observe and experiment with some "Week Programmer Instructions" in Idec Plc workspace using WindLDR software.

There are mainly 4 different types of Week instructions that we will look into.

FC5A series plc support 2 of the instructions namely WKTBL (Week Table), WKTIM (Week Timer) instructions, whereas FC6A supports 4 of the instructions WKTBL (Week Table), WKTIM (Week Timer), WEEK, YEAR.

The initial value of the WEEK and YEAR is configured the day of the week, on time, off time, and special dates using the dialogue box.

The initial values of the WKTIM and WKTBL are configured using data registers.

What are S1, S2 S3, and D1?

Source one (S1) is a starting data register. (D)

Source two (S2) is and initialization input (m)

Source three (S3) is a number of parameter tabs that would be a constant number.

Destination one (D1) is an output port (Q & M)

For the fixed day and time settings, you don’t need values for S1 and S2 (starting and initialization values). Because the data registers are indirectly specified by configuring on the dialogue box.

S3 uses the 6 bytes of use program region for each parameter.

The output D1 turns on only when the configured day and time matches the current day and time.

It is important to understand that the On and Off settings of the day are allocated as bits in 1 data register.

0 represents the check box not selected, and 1 represents the checkbox enabled.

Bit 0 to bit 6 represents off-setting bits starting from Sunday to Saturday.

Bit8 to Bit 14 represents setting bits starting from Sunday to Saturday.

Bit 7 and Bit 15 are reserved.

The binary values are converted to decimal while displaying the values.

D0 data register is set for a day of the week setting.

D1 is set for On time.

D2 is set for Off time.

Idec Plc Programming Basics part 1 by Geek Nepal

The paper below has been published in Research gate. I have created this paper for learning Idec plc programming and instructing those who also want to learn ladder logic in the idec plc platform. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and HIM (Human Machine Display) are the most important major components used in industrial automation and control. PLC can be programmed using a Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Charts, Structure Text, and Instruction List. Most of the industry uses ladder logic in North America, whereas Structure text is popular in Europe and is rising in use. One can download an open-source Codesys software and start learning plc programming. For the learning ladder, I bought an Idec PLC & HMI Combo (FT1A-12) and software called Automation Organizer WindLDR, WindOI-NV2, WindOI-NV3, WindOI-NV4. In this paper, I will be adding some of the ladder logic pictures and describe what going on within the program.

Project Window Register Tag Editor (Input in the example)

The picture above shows the overall work area of the Idec plc platform. On the view tab, you can choose what window to show up on the screen. On the left, you can see the tag editor to choose various types of registers such as input, output, memory, timer, a data register, and so on. On the Home tab, basic has the instruction used repeatedly, Advanced has the move, data comparison, arithmetic, boolean, shift and rotate, data conversion, and various programming tools and functions. At the very lower, You can see plc type FT1A-12, Data communication rates. On the info screen, you will see errors that occurred during the programs. Main Program is the are you will write the ladder logic. You will set up the type of plc, ways to control run/stop, memory, input types, device settings, passwords, calendar clock, and communication settings using the Configuration button.

In Figure 1, Rung 1 Line1: It has a NO (Normally Open) Contact Switch that turns on the Lamp. If the Switch is ON, the Lamp will turn. If the switch is off, the lamp will turn off.

Line 2 and 3 is a self-latching circuit or a holding relay. Stop push is NC (Normally Closed). When the Start push button is pressed, the output coil System Ready will be on, so that the System Ready contact will turn on. The system will be ready even when the start button is not on when the system is self latched.

Line 4 is an example of a set coil.

Line 5 and line 6 is an interlock circuits. When switch 2 is pressed and switch 3 is not pressed Green Light will turn on. When switch 2 is not pressed, and switch 3 is pressed, the Red light will turn on, saying the system is stopped.

In Figure 2 Rung 2, line 4 When the system is ready, the timer will start for 15 seconds. On line 3, when the switch is pressed AND if the 15-second timer is done, the motor will be in running.

On Rung 3, When the system is ready, the MOV function is used to move source one (S1) TC000 timer current value to Destination register(D1) D0000 Data Register zero. Rep represent repeat. 15 is moved to D0001, and Subtraction is performed using the SUB function. Source One S1 has selected Data Register D000, and D0000 is chosen for Source Two S2. The subtracted value is saved on Destination Register D1, (Data Register D0002).

D1 is the Destination Register.

D0000 is Data Register.

In figure 4, the Counter is used in the program, Manual or Auto reset of the counter can be performed. The current value of the counter (Source S1) is moved to data register D0000(Destination D1). The pulse of the proximity sensor will count up, and the preset is set to 5.

Auto-reset in the program is based on a 30-second timer.

Rung 3 has the count up and down counter which is often used in the parking lot to count cars.

The counter is mainly used for counting the parts in the production area in the plant. Counting the parts manufactured, bottles, and pizza are some of the examples of Counter applications.

Sensor (proximity, IR laser sensor, inductive, capacitive) is used to sense the parts for counting.

Rung 1 is an example of OR logic, either of the switches will turn the lamp.

Rung 2 is AND logic, both of the switch has to be pressed in order to run the motor

Line 4,5,6 is used for the blinking of the circuit based on the timer. (on and off delay timer)

Light output is based on the timer for a different color lamp, stack light, tower light, and strobe light.

In the example above,

red light depends on 5 seconds timer,

yellow light depends on 3 seconds timer,

green light depends on a 7seconds sec timer.

The counter function is built using AND, SOTU (Single Output Up) Data Register comparison, and setting D0000 to zero once the preset is 10. The second line is used to show the rapid number changes if SOTU is not used. In line 4, LCAL is used for label calls to the subroutine.

SFR is used for shift register to forward direction R0, R1, R2 … R127.

In the above example, SFRN is used which is shift register reverse. ( R3, R2, R1, R0 )

The shift takes place on the rising edge of pulse or input I001 as shown.

MOV function is showing the data movement from one to other registers.

R is a shift register and is a single bit register, whereas the Destination register is a 16-bit register (word).

This paper is the exposure to basic instructions and functions in the Idec plc platform using ladder logic. In the next paper, I will be working on intermediate tutorials and Advanced projects in the near future. I hope you have enjoyed the paper and course on Geek Nepal YouTube Channel.
