Link-Up #6: What's a movie you've watched more than once?

Maybe it was the soundtrack, or maybe it was the story that hooked you. Maybe it was the characters, or maybe it was the cinematography, that was most fascinating. Maybe it was all of those things that made you sit for another hour and a half or so to watch the same movie again. And again.

One of mine is The Muppets. Our family watched this, let's just say, a few times. It's a feel-good story about team spirit and determination. All the characters are interesting, my favourite is the incredibly vain Miss Piggy - "I didn't come five thousand miles to not be on TV!" Plus, the songs are fun to sing. Sometimes we put one of the songs on, like we built this city, or mahna mahna to enjoy them again.

Blog about artefacts of imaginary worlds.

An artefact is a man-made object that is important because of how it was used, or because of what it tells about history. In this challenge, we are looking for artefacts from imaginary worlds - the worlds of video games, picture books, novels, movies. For example, an artefact from Minecraft would be an armour or an ore of some kind. An artefact from the Percy Jackson series would be the Riptide (Percy's sword) or Zeus' lighting bolt.

1. Decide on an artefact that is interesting to you.

2. Describe the artefact, and explain how it fits into the imaginary world.

3. Discuss any connections of that artefact to the real world or to other imaginary worlds. What does this artefact remind you of?
